| 1 | Activated pyrolysed bacterial cellulose as electrodes for supercapacitors显示文摘In this paper, the bacterial celluloses(BCs) were pyrolysed in nitrogen and then activated by KOH to form a porous three- dimension-network electrode material for supercapacitor applications. Activated pyrolysed bacterial cellulose(APBC) samples with enlarged specific surface area and enhanced specific capacitances were obtained. In order to optimize electrochemical properties, APBC samples with different alkali-to-carbon ratios of 1, 2 and 3 were tested in two electrodes symmetrical capacitors. The optimized APBC sample holds the highest specific capacitance of 241.8 F/g, and the energy density of which is 5 times higher than that of PBC even at a current density of 5 A/g. | 3 | An Experimental Study on the Interaction between Hydrate Formation and Wax Precipitation in Waxy Oil-in-Water Emulsions显示文摘The coupled formation of wax crystals and hydrates is a critical issue for the safety of deep-sea oil and gas exploration and subsea transport pipeline flow.Therefore,this paper conducts an experimental study on the characteristics of methane hydrate formation in a water-in-oil(W/O)system with different wax crystal contents and explores the influence of different initial experimental pressures on the induction period and maximum rate of hydrate formation.The wavelet function was introduced to process the reaction rate and calculate the maximum speed of hydrate formation.Notably,the higher the pressure,the smaller the maximum rate of hydrate formation.We observed that wax crystal precipitation increases the viscosity of the emulsion,which limits the diffusion of gas in the liquid phase during hydrate nucleation and thus delays the hydrate nucleation.The methane gas precipitation also affects the remaining fraction’s wax content and therefore affects the wax precipitation.Secondary hydrate formation was observed several times during the experiment,increasing the risk of pipeline blockage.Overall,this work provides insights into the effect of wax crystal precipitation on hydrate behaviour that could facilitate flow assurance applications in subsea multiphase pipelines and inform the safe transportation of oil and gas pipelines. | Xincan Song Lin Wang Cheng Yu Jiaxin Chen Linjie Ma | 2023 | Energy Engineering2023,120,8: | 0 |
| 4 | Few-layered hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets stabilized Pt NPs for oxidation promoted adsorptive desulfurization of fuel oil显示文摘A few-layered hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets stabilized platinum nanoparticles(Pt/h-BNNS)is engineered for oxidation-promoted adsorptive desulfurization(OPADS)of fuel oil.It was found that the few-layered structure and the defective sites of h-BNNS not only are beneficial to the stabilization of Pt NPs but also favor the adsorption of aromatic sulfides.By employing Pt/h-BNNS with a Pt loading amount of 1.19 wt%as the active adsorbent and air as an oxidant,a 98.0%sulfur removal over dibenzothiophene(DBT)is achieved along with a total conversion of the DBT to the corresponding sulfones(DBTO_(2)).Detailed experiments show that the excellent desulfurization activity originates from the few-layered structure of h-BNNS and the high catalytic activity of Pt NPs.In addition,the OPADS system with Pt/h-BNNS as the active adsorbent shows remarkable stability in desulfurization performance with the existence of different interferents such as olefin,and aromatic hydrocarbons.Besides,the Pt/h-BNNS can be recycled 12 times without a significant decrease in desulfurization performance.Also,a process flow diagram is proposed for deep desulfurization of fuel oil and recovery of high value-added products,which would promote the industrial application of such OPADS strategy. | Peiwen Wu Xin Song Linlin Chen Lianwen He Yingcheng Wu Duanjian Tao Jing He Chang Deng Linjie Lu Yanhong Chao Mingqing Hua Wenshuai Zhu | 2024 | Green Energy & Environment2024,9,3: | 0 |
| 5 | A stretchable fabric as strain sensor integrating electromagnetic shielding and electrochemical energy storage显示文摘Multifunctional intelligent fabric plays an integral role in health management,human–machine interaction,wireless energy storage and conversion,and many other artificial intelligence fields.Herein,we demonstrate a newly developed MXene/polyaniline(PANI)multifunctional fabric integrated with strain sensing,electrochemical energy storage,and electromagnetic shielding properties.The multifunctional fabric-based strain sensor possesses a real-time signal response at a sizeable tensile strain of 100%with a minute strain of 0.5%,maintaining a stable and consistent signal response even after 3000 stretch–release cycles.In addition,the multifunctional fabric exhibits excellent electromagnetic shielding capabilities,achieving a total shielding effectiveness value of up to 43 dB,and in the meantime shows attractive electrochemical energy storage performance as an electrode in a supercapacitor,offering a maximum specific capacity and energy density of 522.5 mF·cm^(−2)and 18.16μWh·cm^(−2),respectively.Such a multifunctional intelligent fabric offers versatile opportunities to develop smart clothes for various artificial intelligent applications. | Xu Li Xiaohui Sun Jiuyue Zhang Song Xue Linjie Zhi | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,11: | 0 |
| 6 | Pyrophosphate-Mediated On-Off-On Oxidase-Like Activity Switching of Nanosized MnFe_(2)O_(4) for Alkaline Phosphatase Sensing显示文摘Developing reliable and facile approaches for alkaline phosphatase(ALP)sensing is important due to its role as a clinical biomarker for many diseases.In this study,we proposed a new and convenient colorimetric assay based on the pyrophosphate(PPi)-mediated oxidase-mimicking activity switching of nanosized MnFe_(2)O_(4) for the detection of ALP.The synthesized MnFe_(2)O_(4) exhibited high oxidase-like activity to catalyze the oxidation of colorless 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB)to its blue product TMBox in the presence of dissolved O2,leading to a color reaction rapidly and remarkably;PPi could significantly inhibit the activity of the MnFe_(2)O_(4) nanozyme via the strong interaction between PPi and the Fe(III)species in MnFe_(2)O_(4),resulting in the suppression of the TMB color reaction;when ALP was added,it hydrolyzed the PPi substrate to phosphate(Pi)that had no obvious effect on the MnFe_(2)O_(4) activity,and such that the TMB color reaction catalyzed by the nanozyme could be observed again.With the above principle,linear colorimetric determination of ALP in the scope of 0.6-55 U L−1 was achieved,giving the limit of detection down to 0.27 U L−1.Besides,the developed assay could provide selective response toward ALP against other co-existing biological species.Furthermore,reliable detection of ALP in human serum samples was verified by our assay,revealing its great promise as an effective and facile tool for ALP monitoring in clinical practice. | Xiangheng Niu Kun Ye Zhibo Li Hongli Zhao Linjie Wang Jianming Pan Hongwei Song Minbo Lan | 2019 | Journal of Analysis and Testing2019,3,3: | 0 |
