Design for Vibrator Field Experiment Based-on Vibrator-earth System显示文摘Source-generated energy in seismic vibrator records high frequency harmonic behavior. Conventional vibrator-earth coupling model was set up on the linear system. Some assumptions in the application of linear theory to the vibrator problem play an insignificant role in the overall coupling structure. Obviously, non-linear behaviors can be modeled using a “hard-spring” form of the Duffing equation. Model dedicates that a qualitatively similar harmonic component is present for a broad range of possible mathematical descriptions. After some qualitative analysis about the non-linear system, some conclusion can be drawn. Firstly, The design of the vibrator weight should be abided by two points as followed: In order to avoid decoupling for the vibrator to the earth, the weight should be greater than the peak of the driving force amplitude as to keep the resultant force pointing to the earth’s core. On the other hand, for the limited energy output, the vibrator overweight may damage the system high-frequency ability.Secondly, as the driving force frequency approaching to the ground hard-spring inherent frequency, the energy transmission was found to climb its peak from the system energy absorbed curve. At last, due to the non-linear coupling model system, its load curve would come into unstable frequency range, which might limit the application of the Vibroseis conventional sweeping pattern-linear sweep. A new sweeping pattern was listed: the driving signal was the pseudo-random sequence modulated by a fixed frequency cosine signal satisfying with the exploration precision and absorbing efficiency. The synthesized signal was ready to be realized by the electromagnetic driven system. Even the side-lobes noise of its auto-correlation function was restrained well. The theory coming from the Vibrator-earth coupling model was applied to the design of the Portable High-frequency Vibrator System (PHVS), and the good result was obtained. By the analysis of the vibrator base plate signal, the model was proved to be true. The exploration research on PHVS made a first step on its following optimal design.Chen Zubin Lin Jun Liang Tiecheng Zhang Linhang 2000Global Geology2000,5,1:8
Study on Airflow Characteristics in the Semi-Closed Irregular Narrow Flow channel显示文摘The air-jet loom is widely used in the textile industry. The interaction mechanism of airflow and yarn is not clear in such a narrow flow channel, the gas consumption is relatively large, the yarn motion is unstable and the weft insertion is often interrupted during the operation. In order to study the characteristics of the semi-closed flow field in profiled dents, the momentum conservation equation is modified and the model parameters and boundary conditions are set. Compared with the different r, the ratio of profiled dent's thickness and gap, the results show that the smaller the r is, the smaller the velocity fluctuations of the airflow is. When the angle of profiled dents ? is close to zero, the diffusion of the airflow will be less. The experiment is also conducted to verify the result of the simulation with a high-speed camera and pressure sensor in profiled dents. The airflow characteristics in the semi-closed irregular narrow flow channel in the paper would provide the theoretical basis for optimizing the weft insertion process of the air-jet loom.JIN Yuzhen HU Xiaodong ZHU Linhang HU Xudong JIN Yingzi 2016Journal of Thermal Science2016,25,2:6
Development of the Array Transient Electromagnetic System and Its Experiments显示文摘Transient electromagnetic (TEM) technique plays a significant role in mineral exploration. To accommodate the complicated survey environments in the west part of China, we developed a portable array TEM equipment (ATEM-1), which was implemented based upon the idea to apply the GPS timing signal for the synchronization among transmitters and receivers. The structure of the system and its performance are discussed and the case study is also described.Lin Jun Cheng Defu Liu Guoxing Duan Qingming Zhang Linhang Yu Shengbao 2000Global Geology2000,5,1:3
Effect of Placements (horizontal with vertical) on Gas-solid Flow and Particle Impact Erosion in Gate Valve显示文摘Gate valve has various placements in the practical usages.Due to the effect of gravity, particle trajectories and erosions are distinct between placements. Thus in this study,gas-solid flow properties and erosion in gate valve for horizontal placement and vertical placement are discussed and compared by using Euler-Lagrange simulation method. The structure of a gate valve and a simplified structure are investigated. The simulation procedure is validated in our published paper by comparing with the experiment data of a pipe and an elbow. The results show that for all investigated open degrees and Stokes numbers(St),there are little difference of gas flow properties and flow coefficients between two placements. It is also found that the trajectories of particles for two placements are mostly identical when St << 1,making the erosion independent of placement. With the increase of St,the distinction of trajectories between placements becomes more obvious, leading to an increasing difference of the erosion distributions.Besides, the total erosion ratio of surface T for horizontal placement is two orders of magnitudes larger than that for vertical placement when the particle diameter is 250 μm.LIN Zhe ZHU Linhang CUI Baoling LI Yi RUAN Xiaodong 2014Journal of Thermal Science2014,23,6:2

Three-dimensional Numerical Simulation of the Movement of the Flexible Body under Different Constraints显示文摘For the large deformation of the flexible body may cause the fluid grid distortion, which will make the numerical calculation tedious, even to end,the numerical simulation of the flexible body coupling with the fluid is always a tough problem. In this paper, the flexible body is under two kinds of constrained conditions and the ratio of length-diameter is 1:30.The Reynolds number of the airflow is 513,belonging to the area of low Reynolds number. The control equations of the coupling of flexible body with airflow are built and the adaptive grid control method is adopted to conduct the three-dimensional numerical simulation of the movement of the flexible body. The numerical results show that it is possible to simulate the characteristics of the flexible body's movement in the low Reynolds number airflow when the appropriate control equations are modeled and suitable equation-solving method is adopted.Unconstrained flexible body would turn over forward along the airflow's diffusion direction, while constrained flexible body in the flow field will make periodic rotation motion along the axis of the flexible body, and the bending deformation is more obvious than that of unconstrained flexible body. The preliminary three-dimensional numerical simulation can provide references for further research on the characteristics of the yam movement in high Reynolds number airflow.JIN Yuzhen LI Jun ZHU Linhang DU Jiayou JIN Yingzi LIN Peifeng 2014Journal of Thermal Science2014,23,6:0
