1Tunable Schottky barrier width and enormously enhanced photoresponsivity in Sb doped SnS2 monolayer显示文摘Doping, which is the intentional introducti on of impurities into a material, can improve the metal-semiconductor interface by reducing Schottky barrier width. Here, we prese nt high-quality two-dime nsional SnS2 nano sheets with well-controlled Sb dopi ng concen tration via direct vapor growth approach and following micromechanical cleavage process. X-ray photoelectro n spectroscopy (XPS) measureme nt dem on strates that Sb contents of the doped samples are approximately 0.22%, 0.34% and 1.21%, respectively, and doping in duces the upward shift of the Fermi level with respect to the pristi ne SnS2. Tran smissio n electro n microscopy (TEM) characterizatio n exhibits that Sb-doped SnS2 nano sheets have a high-quality hexagonal symmetry structure and Sb element is uniformly distributed in the nano sheets. The phototra nsistors based on the Sb-doped SnS2 mono layers show n-type behavior with high mobility which is one order of magn itude higher than that of pristi ne SnS2 phototra nsistors. The photorespo nsivity and exter nal quantum efficiency (EQE) of Sb-S nS2 mono layers phototra nsistors are approximately three orders of magnitude higher than that of pristine SnS2 phototransistor. 2Hotspots of the sensitivity of the land surface hydrological cycle to climate change显示文摘Due to the shortage of the global observational data of the terrestrial hydrological variables,the understanding of how surface hydrological processes respond to climate change is still limited.In this study,the Community Land Model(CLM4.0)with high resolution atmospheric forcing data is selected to simulate the global surface hydrological quantities during the period 1948–2006and to investigate the spatial features of these quantities in response to climate change at the regional scales.The sensitivities of evaporation and runoff with respect to the dominant climate change factors(e.g.temperature and precipitation)derived from the concept of climate elasticity are introduced.Results show that evaporation has a declining trend with a rate of 0.7 mm per decade,while runoff shows a weak increasing trend of 0.15 mm per decade over the global land surface.Analyses of the hotspots in the hydrological cycle indicate that the spatial distributions for evaporation and runoff are similar over many areas in central Asia,Australia,and southern South America,but differ largely in high latitudes.It is also found that,the evaporation hotspots in arid regions are mainly associated with the changes in precipitation.Our sensitive analysis suggests that the hydrological quantities show a rather complicated spatial dependency of response of the water cycle to the different climate factors(temperature and precipitation).HUA WenJian CHEN HaiShan ZHU SiGuang SUN ShanLei YU Miao ZHOU LiMing 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,30:7
3Adjuvant radiotherapy in central hepatocellular carcinoma after narrow-margin hepatectomy:A 10-year real-world evidence显示文摘Objective:A prospective randomized control study investigated the feasibility and efficacy of adjuvant radiotherapy on patients with central hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)after narrow-margin hepatectomy(<1 cm).This study presents an updated 10-year real-world evidence to further characterize the role of adjuvant radiotherapy.Methods:Patients with central HCC after narrow-margin hepatectomy(<1 cm)were prospectively assigned to adjuvant radiotherapy group and control group.Patients'outcome,adverse events,long-term recurrence and survival rates were investigated.Results:The 1-,5-,and 10-year recurrence-free survival(RFS)rates were 81.0%,43.9%,and 38.7%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 71.7%,35.8%,and 24.2%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.09).The 1-,5-,and 10-year overall survival(OS)rates were 96.6%,54.7%,and 42.8%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 90.2%,55.1%,and 30.0%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.20).The 1-,5-,and 10-year RFS rates for patients with small HCC(≤5 cm)were 91.1%,51.6%,and 48.4%,respectively in adjuvant radiotherapy group and 80.0%,36.6%,and 26.6%,respectively in control group(log-rank test,P=0.03).Landmark analysis demonstrated that patients with small HCC in adjuvant radiotherapy group had a significantly improved OS in second five years after treatment in comparison to patients in control group(log-rank test,P=0.05).Conclusions:Our updated results showed a sustained clinical benefit on reducing recurrence,improving longterm survival for small central HCC by adjuvant radiotherapy after narrow-margin hepatectomy.Long-term survival data also indicated that hepatectomy is an optimal treatment for selected patients with central HCC.Weiqi Rong Weibo Yu Liming Wang Fan Wu Kai Zhang Bo Chen Chengli Miao Liguo Liu Songlin An Changcheng Tao Weihu Wang Jianxiong Wu 2020Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,5:6
4Self-Powered Intelligent Human-Machine Interaction for Handwriting Recognition显示文摘Handwritten signatures widely exist in our daily lives.The main challenge of signal recognition on handwriting is in the development of approaches to obtain information effectively.External mechanical signals can be easily detected by triboelectric nanogenerators which can provide immediate opportunities for building new types of active sensors capable of recording handwritten signals.In this work,we report an intelligent human-machine interaction interface based on a triboelectric nanogenerator.Using the horizontal-vertical symmetrical electrode array,the handwritten triboelectric signal can be recorded without external energy supply.Combined with supervised machine learning methods,it can successfully recognize handwritten English letters,Chinese characters,and Arabic numerals.The principal component analysis algorithm preprocesses the triboelectric signal data to reduce the complexity of the neural network in the machine learning process.Further,it can realize the anticounterfeiting recognition of writing habits by controlling the samples input to the neural network.The results show that the intelligent human-computer interaction interface has broad application prospects in signature security and humancomputer interaction.Hang Guo Ji Wan Haobin Wang Hanxiang Wu Chen Xu Liming Miao Mengdi Han Haixia Zhang 2021Research2021,,1:4
5Controlled fabrication of nanoscale wrinkle structure by fluorocarbon plasma for highly transparent triboelectric nanogenerator显示文摘In this paper,we report a novel nanoscale wrinkle-structure fabrication process using fluorocarbon plasma on poly(dimethylsiloxane)(PDMS)and Solaris membranes.Wrinkles with wavelengths of hundreds of nanometers were obtained on these two materials,showing that the fabrication process was universally applicable.By varying the plasma-treating time,the wavelength of the wrinkle structure could be controlled.Highly transparent membranes with wrinkle patterns were obtained when the plasmatreating time was o125 s.The transmittances of these membranes were 490%in the visible region,making it difficult to distinguish them from a flat membrane.The deposited fluorocarbon polymer also dramatically reduced the surface energy,which allowed us to replicate the wrinkle pattern with high precision onto other membranes without any surfactant coating.The combined advantages of high electron affinity and high transparency enabled the fabricated membrane to improve the performance of a triboelectric nanogenerator.This nanoscale,single-step,and universal wrinkle-pattern fabrication process,with the functionality of high transparency and ultra-low surface energy,shows an attractive potential for future applications in microand nanodevices,especially in transparent energy harvesters.Xiaoliang Cheng Liming Miao Zongming Su Haotian Chen Yu Song Xuexian Chen Haixia Zhang 2017Microsystems & Nanoengineering2017,3,1:3
6Unraveling the degradation mechanism of LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2) at the high cut-off voltage for lithium ion batteries显示文摘LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)layered oxides have been regarded as promising alternative cathodes for the next generation of high-energy lithium ion batteries(LIBs)due to high discharge capacities and energy densities at high operation voltage.However,the capacity fading under high operation voltage still restricts the practical application.Herein,the capacity degradation mechanism of NCM811 at atomic-scale is studied in detail under various cut-off voltages using aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy(STEM).It is observed that the crystal structure of NCM811 evolution from a layered structure to a rock-salt phase is directly accompanied by serious intergranular cracks under 4.9 V,which is distinguished from the generally accepted structure evolution of layered,disordered layered,defect rock salt and rock salt phases,also observed under 4.3 and 4.7 V.The electron energy loss spectroscopy analysis also confirms the reduction of Ni and Co from the surface to the bulk,not the previously reported only Li/Ni interlayer mixing.The degradation mechanism of NCM811 at a high cut-off voltage of4.9 V is attributed to the formation of intergranular cracks induced by defects,the direct formation of the rock salt phase,and the accompanied reduction of Ni^(2+)and Co^(2+)phases from the surface to the bulk.Liming Wang Qingmei Su Bin Han Weihao Shi Gaohui Du Yunting Wang Huayv Li Lin Gu Wenqi Zhao Shukai Ding Miao Zhang Yongzhen Yang Bingshe Xu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,2:1
7Genomes of 12 fig wasps provide insights into the adaptation of pollinators to fig syconia显示文摘Figs and fig pollinators are one of the few classic textbook examples of obligate pollination mutualism.The specific dependence of fig pollinators on the relatively safe living environment with sufficient food sources in the enclosed fig syconia implies that they are vulnerable to habitat changes.However,there is still no extensive genomic evidence to reveal the evolutionary footprint of this long-term mutually beneficial symbiosis in fig pollinators.In fig syconia,there are also non-pollinator species.The non-pollinator species differ in their evolutionary and life histories from pollinators.We conducted comparative analyses on 11 newly sequenced fig wasp genomes and one previously published genome.The pollinators colonized the figs approximately 66.9 million years ago,consistent with the origin of host figs.Compared with nonpollinators,many more genes in pollinators were subject to relaxed selection.Seven genes were absent in pollinators in response to environmental stress and immune activation.Pollinators had more streamlined gene repertoires in the innate immune system,chemosensory toolbox,and detoxification system.Our results provide genomic evidence for the differentiation between pollinators and nonpollinators.The data suggest that owing to the long-term adaptation to the fig,some genes related to functions no longer required are absent in pollinators.Jinhua Xiao Xianqin Wei Yi Zhou Zhaozhe Xin Yunheng Miao Hongxia Hou Jiaxing Li Dan Zhao Jing Liu Rui Chen Liming Niu Guangchang Ma Wenquan Zhen Shunmin He Jianxia Wang Xunfan Wei Weihao Dou Zhuoxiao Sui Haikuan Zhang Shilai Xing Miao Shi Dawei Huang 2021Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,3:1
8Complete Mitochondrial Genome of Myra affinis(Decapoda:Brachyura:Leucosiidae)and Its Phylogenetic Implications for Brachyura显示文摘Knowledge of complete mitochondrial genomes(mitogenomes)can help understand the molecular evolution and phylogenetic relationships of various species.To date,the phylogenetic status of Leucosiidae within Brachyura remains unresolved because of the limited number of mitogenomes available.In the present study,the complete mitogenome of Myra affinis was sequenced using next-generation sequencing to supplement the limited mitogenome information of Leucosiidae.The 15349 bp-long mitogenome includes 13 protein-coding genes(PCGs),22 transfer RNAs(tRNAs),2 ribosomal RNAs(rRNAs),and a putative control region.The overall base composition is 34.5%A,36.1%T,11.5%G,and 17.9%C,with a high AT bias(70.6%).All 13 PCGs start with the standard ATN codon and stop with the TAN codon or incomplete T.Except for tRNA-Ser,all other tRNAs have a typical cloverleaf-like secondary structure.Phylogenetic analyses based on the maximum likelihood and Bayesian inference methods are employed to generate identical phylogenetic topologies,thereby supporting the sister relationship between Leucosiidae and Matutidae for the first time.The monophyly of Eubrachyura is well established,and its sister relationship with Raninoida is strongly supported.The results of this work will not only help achieve a better understanding of the characteristics of the M.affinis mitogenome and the phylogenetic position of Leucosiidae,but also provide relevant information for further studies on the phylogeny of Brachyura.ZHANG Ying MENG Lei MIAO Zengliang WEI Liming LIU Bingjian LIU Liqin GONG Li LÜZhenming 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,4:1

10Spatial configuration engineering of perylenediimide-based non-fullerene electron transport materials for efficient inverted perovskite solar cells显示文摘Due to their excellent photoelectron chemical properties and suitable energy level alignment with perovskite,perylene diimide(PDI)derivatives are competitive non-fullerene electron transport material(ETM)candidates for perovskite solar cells(PSCs).However,the conjugated rigid plane structure of PDI units result in PDI-based ETMs tending to form large aggregates,limiting their application and photovoltaic performance.In this study,to restrict aggregation and further enhance the photovoltaic performance of PDI-type ETMs,two PDI-based ETMs,termed PDO-PDI2(dimer)and PDO-PDI3(trimer),were constructed by introducing a phenothiazine 5,5-dioxide(PDO)core building block.The research manifests that the optoelectronic properties and film formation property of PDO-PDI2 and PDO-PDI3 were deeply affected by the molecular spatial configuration.Applied in PSCs,PDO-PDI3 with threedimensional spiral molecular structure,exhibits superior electron extraction and transport properties,further achieving the best PCE of 18.72%and maintaining 93%of its initial efficiency after a 720-h aging test under ambient conditions.Mengmeng Zheng Yawei Miao Ali Asgher Syed Cheng Chen Xichuan Yang Liming Ding Huaming Li Ming Cheng 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,5:0
11Plastic materials and water sources actively select and shape wastewater plastispheres over time显示文摘The daily use of plastics presents a serious pollution issue due to their extremely slow degradation.Microplastics and the biofilm that grows on plastics(i.e.,the plastisphere)are important subsets of plastic wastes.Many studies have been conducted to reveal the structures of the plastispheres,the driving factors for the formation of the plastisphere,and the ability of the plastispheres to degrade plastics in a variety of water bodies.However,the plastispheres related to wastewater are understudied.In this study,we used a microcosmic strategy to study the evolution of the plastispheres associated with microplastics(MPs)over time in wastewater.We found that plastic materials and water sources did not actively select and shape the plastispheres at an early stage,but the active selection for a unique niche of the plastisphere occurred after 14 d of growth.In addition,we confirmed that the alkB gene was densely present,and metagenomics showed some additional chemical reactions,which suggests that MPs are consumed by the microbes in the plastispheres.Additionally,metagenomics identified some metagenome-assembled genomes(MAGs)associated with high-density polyethylene(HDPE)and polyethylene terephthalate(PET).The identification of HDPE-associated MAGs and PET-associated MAGs further supports the notion that the selection for a unique niche of the plastisphere is driven by plastic materials and water sources(in this study,after 14 d of growth).Our discoveries bring new views on the behavior of the wastewater-associated plastisphere,especially how long it takes a wastewater plastisphere to form.Yu Xia Xuyang Zhang Miao Zhang Liming Chen Xiaotong Tang Yuhong Sun Xiang Li 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,11:0
12Temporal Profiles of Antibody Responses, Cytokines, and Survival of COVID-19 Patients: A Retrospective Cohort显示文摘The longitudinal immunologic status of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)-infected patients and its association with the clinical outcome are barely known.Thus,we sought to analyze the temporal profiles of specific antibodies,as well as the associations between the antibodies,proinflammatory cytokines,and survival of patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).A total of 1830 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases were recruited.The temporal profiles of the virus,antibodies,and cytokines of the patients until 12 weeks since illness onset were fitted by the locally weighted scatter plot smoothing method.The mediation effect of cytokines on the associations between antibody responses and survival were explored by mediation analysis.Of the 1830 patients,1435 were detectable for SARS-CoV-2,while 395 were positive in specific antibodies only.Of the 1435 patients,2.4%presented seroconversion for neither immunoglobulin G(IgG)nor immunoglobulin M(IgM)during hospitalization.The seropositive rates of IgG and IgM were 29.6%and 48.1%,respectively,in the first week,and plateaued within five weeks.For the patients discharged from the hospital,the IgM decreased slowly,while high levels of IgG were maintained at around 188 AUmL^(-1) for the 12 weeks since illness onset.In contrast,in the patients who subsequently died,IgM declined rapidly and IgG dropped to 87 AUmL^(-1) at the twelfth week.Elevated interleukin-6,interleukin-8,interleukin-10,interleukin-1b,interleukin-2R,and tumor necrosis factor-a levels were observed in the deceased patients in comparison with the discharged patients,and 12.5%of the association between IgG level and mortality risk was mediated by these cytokines.Our study deciphers the temporal profiles of SARS-CoV-2-specific antibodies within the 12 weeks since illness onset and indicates the protective effect of antibody response on survival,which may help to guide prognosis estimation.Li Liu Heng-Gui Chen Ying Li Huijun Li Jiaoyuan Li Yi Wang Shuang Yao Chuan Qin Shutao Tong Xu Yuan Xia Luo Xiaoping Miao An Pan Zheng Liu Liming Cheng 2021Engineering2021,7,7:0
13Simulating the obstacle avoidance behavior day and night based on the visible-infrared MoS_(2)/Ge heterojunction field-effect phototransistor显示文摘The contradiction between the high number of visually handicapped people and the scarcity of guide dogs has stimulated the demand for electronic guide dogs(EGDs).Here,we demonstrate an EGD by leveraging piezoresistors on a MoS_(2)/Ge heterostructure for simultaneous pressure-sensing and optical-sensing functions.The device has excellent gating capability and exhibits large positive and negative photoresponses under visible(532 nm,182 A/W)and infrared(1550 nm,37 A/W)illumination.These characteristics allow the device to efficiently classify different obstacles at all times of day using pressure and light signals.The device reaches nearly 100%accuracy after 48 training sessions when used to classify frequent scenes.The device adopts passive and active detection modes during the day and night,respectively,which improves the battery life of the EGD.This work provides a significant reference for the future design of EGDs,which may help a greater number of visually impaired people by reducing the cost of such devices.Zhao Han Bo Wang Jie You Qiancui Zhang Yichi Zhang Tian Miao Ningning Zhang Dongdong Lin Zuimin Jiang Renxu Jia Jincheng Zhang Hui Guo Huiyong Hu Liming Wang 2023Nano Research2023,16,8:0

15Secoisolariciresinol diglycoside(SDG)lignan content of oil flax:Genotypic and environmental variations and association with other traits显示文摘The secoisolariciresinol diglycoside(SDG)lignan of oil flax(Linum usitatissimum L.)is influenced by genotype,environment and the interaction of genotype×environment.This field study was conducted to investigate the effects of genotype and environment on the SDG lignan content,six genotypes(Longya 8,Zhangya 2,Linxiabai,Shandanbai,Gaolanbai,and DYMS)were sown under eight locations(Hohhot,Datong,Minle,Yili,Shuangta,Jingtai,Guyuan,and Zhangjiakou)in 2014 and 2015 in China.The experimental design was a randomized complete block with three replications.Results showed that Longya 8 had the highest SDG lignan content(7.27mg/g)and Shandanbai had the lowest(4.71 mg/g)across 16 environments.The SDG lignan content ranged from 4.70 mg/g at Datong to 7.74 mg/g at Minle Research Station.In the present study,the results indicated that differences among genotypes in SDG lignan content accounted for 51.38%variation of the total variation and environments accounted for 44.40%variation of the total variation.Moreover,we found that the altitude had a positive effect on SDG lignan content of flaxseed,presumably owing to differences in temperature,humidity,sunshine time,etc.These results indicated that the SDG lignan content was genetically controlled,and was also to be influenced by environmental conditions,especially altitude.Jianping Zhang Yaping Xie Chunqing Miao Liming Wang Wei Zhao Wenjuan Li Yanni Qi Zhao Dang 2022Oil Crop Science2022,7,1:0

17Efficient generation of targeted point mutations in the Brassica oleracea var.botrytis genome via a modified CRISPR/Cas9 system显示文摘In this study,we used the modified CRISPR/Cas9 system to produce targeted point mutations in cauliflower.Acetolactate synthase(ALS)and Centromere-specific histone H3 variant(CENH3)genes were selected as the base-editing targets and hypocotyls of cauliflower were used as explants.For ALS gene,a C-to-T conversion in the Pro182 codon(CCT)can alter the encoded amino acid,likely resulting in herbicide resistance,and a C-to-T mutation in the Leu133 codon(CTT)in the CENH3 gene may produce a haploid inducer.Results indicated that the transformation efficiency was 1.8%–4.5%and the mutation efficiencies for the ALS and CENH3 genes were approximately 22%and 87%,respectively.The ALS mutant cauliflower showed strong herbicide resistance,with possible immediate implications for broadleaf weed control in cauliflower fields.Guixiang Wang Mei Zong Di Liu Yage Wu Shouwei Tian Shuo Han Ning Guo Mengmeng Duan Liming Miao Fan Liu 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,4:0
