1Cultivar-dependent rhizobacteria community and cadmium accumulation in rice: Effects on cadmium availability in soils and iron-plaque formation显示文摘The association between the rhizospheric microbial community and Cd accumulation in rice is poorly understood.A field trial was conducted to investigate the different rhizobacterial communities of two rice cultivars with high Cd accumulation(HA)and low Cd accumulation(LA)at four growth stages.Results showed that the Cd content in the roots of the HA cultivar was 1.23-27.53 higher than that of the LA cultivar(0.08-10.5μg/plant)at four stages.The LA cultivar had a significantly lower Cd availability in rhizosphere and a higher quantity of iron plaque(IP)on the root surface than the HA cultivar at four stages.This resulted in the reduction of Cd concentration in IPs and Cd translocation from IP-to-root.Microbial analysis indicated that the LA cultivar formed a distinct rhizobacterial community from the HA cultivar and had lessα-diversity.The rhizosphere of the LA cultivar was enriched in specific bacterial taxa(e.g.,Massilia and Bacillus)involved in Cd immobilization by phosphate precipitation and IP formation by iron oxidization.However,the rhizosphere in the HA cultivar assembled abundant sulfur-oxidizing bacteria(e.g.,Sulfuricurvum)and iron reduction bacteria(Geobacter).They promoted Cd mobilization and reduced IP formation via the metal redox process.This study reveals a potential approach in which specific rhizobacteria decrease or increase Cd accumulation in rice on contaminated soil and provides a new perspective for secure rice production.Feng Zhang Di Peng Lu Liu Huidan Jiang Lianyang Bai 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,6:2

3Tuning electronic configuration of WP_(2) nanosheet arrays via nickel doping for high-efficiency hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Modulate the electronic structure and surface energy by nanostructure and heteroatom doping is an efficient strategy to improve electrocatalytic activity of hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Herein,nickel incorporated WP_(2) self-supporting nanosheet arrays cathode was synthesized on carbon cloth(Ni-WP_(2) NS/CC)by in-situ phosphating reduction of the Ni-doped WO3.It shows that heteroatom doping and the three-dimensional(3D)nanosheet arrays morphology both facilitate to reduce the interfacial transfer resistance and increase electrochemical-active surface areas,which effectively improve electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)activity.The optimized catalyst,1%Ni-WP_(2) NS/CC,exhibits an outstanding electrocatalytic performance with an overpotential of 110 m V at 10 m A cm^(-2) and a Tafel slope of 65 m V dec^(-1) in the acid solution.DFT calculations further demonstrate the nickel doping can adjust the intrinsic structure of electronics,lower the Gibbs free energy of adsorption of hydrogen(DGH*),and effectively improve the HER performance.Wei Liu Peng Geng Shiqing Li Wenhui Liu Dayong Fan Huidan Lu Zhenhuan Lu Yongping Liu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4:1

6Rare inherited missense variants of POGZ associate with autism risk and disrupt neuronal development显示文摘Excess de novo likely gene-disruptive and missense variants within dozens of genes have been identified in autism spectrum disorder(ASD)and other neurodevelopmental disorders.However,many rare inherited missense variants of these high-risk genes have not been thoroughly evaluated.In this study,we analyzed the rare missense variant burden of POGZ in a large cohort of ASD patients from the Autism Clinical and Genetic Resources in China(ACGC)and further dissected the functional effect of diseaseassociated missense variants on neuronal development.Our results showed a significant burden of rare missense variants in ASD patients compared to the control population(P=4.6×10-5,OR=3.96),and missense variants in ASD patients showed more severe predicted functional outcomes than those in controls.Furthermore,by leveraging published large-scale sequencing data of neurodevelopmental disorders(NDDs)and sporadic case reports,we identified 8 de novo missense variants of POGZ in NDD patients.Functional analysis revealed that two inherited,but not de novo,missense variants influenced the cellular localization of POGZ and failed to rescue the defects in neurite and dendritic spine development caused by Pogz knockdown in cultured mouse primary cortical neurons.Significantly,L1CAM,an autism candidate risk gene,is differentially expressed in POGZ deficient cell lines.Reduced expression of L1cam was able to partially rescue the neurite length defects caused by Pogz knockdown.Our study showed the important roles of rare inherited missense variants of POGZ in ASD risk and neuronal development and identified the potential downstream targets of POGZ,which are important for further molecular mechanism studies.Wenjing Zhao Jieqiong Tan Tengfei Zhu Jianjun Ou Ying Li Lu Shen Huidan Wu Lin Han Yanling Liu Xiangbin Jia Ting Bai Honghui Li Xiaoyan Ke Jingping Zhao Xiaobing Zou Zhengmao Hu Hui Guo Kun Xia 2019Journal of Genetics and Genomics2019,46,5:0
7A Contrastive Study on the C-E Translation of the Verb of Perception zhijian from the Perspective of Subjective Consciousness and Objective Consciousness显示文摘Verbs of perception include sight,hearing,smell,taste and touch,of which zhijian belongs to sight is very common in literary works,and its semantic meaning also begins to change with the development of time.Based on the original text and two translated versions of the Water Margin,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the translation strategies of zhijian on the basis that Chinese emphasizes subjective consciousness and the mixed consciousness of subjectivity and objectivity,while English stresses objective consciousness with a clear boundary between subjectivity and objectivity.According to previous studies,this paper regroups the appearance of zhijian and divides it into two categories,namely zhijian at the beginning of a sentence and at the beginning of a minor sentence.On the basis of the context and the changing function of zhijian,that is,the function of being a verb and being a discourse marker,it can be concluded that as the meaning of a verb,the real action,the meaning of zhijian is expressed by“seeing”,so translators usually adopt literal translation;while as a discourse marker,it is no longer the main component of sentence structure,but to highlight the following information,translators will adopt deletion,conversion and retaining.It can be seen that translators often need to convert Chinese characterized by subjective consciousness into English dominated by objective consciousness,thus conforming to various meaning of zhijian.Huidan Lu 2020Review of Educational Theory2020,3,4:0
