1Precise orbit determination of Beidou Satellites with precise positioning显示文摘Chinese Beidou satellite navigation system constellation currently consists of eight Beidou satellites and can provide preliminary service of navigation and positioning in the Asia-Pacific Region.Based on the self-developed software Position And Navigation Data Analysis(PANDA) and Beidou Experimental Tracking Stations (BETS),which are built by Wuhan University,the study of Beidou precise orbit determination,static precise point positioning (PPP),and high precision relative positioning,and differential positioning are carried out comprehensively.Results show that the radial precision of the Beidou satellite orbit determination is better than 10 centimeters.The RMS of static PPP can reach several centimeters to even millimeters for baseline relative positioning.The precision of kinematic pseudo-range differential positioning and RTK mode positioning are 2-4 m and 5-10 cm respectively,which are close to the level of GPS precise positioning.Research in this paper verifies that,with support of ground reference station network,Beidou satellite navigation system can provide precise positioning from several decimeters to meters in the wide area and several centimeters in the regional area.These promising results would be helpful for the implementation and applications of Beidou satellite navigation system.SHI Chuang ZHAO QiLe LI Min TANG WeiMing HU ZhiGang LOU YiDong ZHANG HongPing NIU XiaoJi LIU JingNan 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,7:61
2Expenditure and financial burden for the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer in China:a hospital.based,multicenter,cross-sectional survey显示文摘Background: The increasing prevalence of colorectal cancer(CRC) in China and the paucity of information about relevant expenditure highlight the necessity of better understanding the financial burden and effect of CRC diagnosis and treatment. We performed a survey to quantify the direct medical and non-medical expenditure as well as the resulting financial burden of CRC patients in China.Methods: We conducted a multicenter, cross-sectional survey in 37 tertiary hospitals in 13 provinces across China between 2012 and 2014. Each enrolled patient was interviewed using a structured questionnaire. All expenditure data were inflated to the 2014 Chinese Yuan(CNY; 1 CNY = 0.163 USD). We quantified the overall expenditure and financial burden and by subgroup(hospital type, age at diagnosis, sex, education, occupation, insurance type, household income, clinical stage, pathologic type, and therapeutic regimen). We then performed generalized linear modeling to determine the factors associated with overall expenditure.Results: A total of 2356 patients with a mean age of 57.4 years were included, 57.1 % of whom were men; 13.9% of patients had stage I cancer; and the average previous-year household income was 54,525 CNY.The overall average direct expenditure per patient was estimated to be 67,408 CNY, and the expenditures for stage Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, and Ⅳ disease were 56,099 CNY, 59,952 CNY, 67,292 CNY, and 82,729 CNY, respectively. Non-medical expenditure accounted for 8.3%of the overall expenditure. The 1-year out-of-pocket expenditure of a newly diagnosed patient was 32,649 CNY, which accounted for 59.9% of their previous-year household income and caused 75.0% of families to suffer an unmanageable financial burden. Univariate analysis showed that financial burden and overall expenditure differed in almost all subgroups(P < 0.05), except for sex. Multivariate analysis showed that patients who were treated in specialized hospitals and those who were diagnosed with adenocarcinoma or diagnosed at a later stage were likely to spend more,whereas those with a lower household income and those who underwent surgery spent less(all P < 0.05).Conclusions: For patients in China, direct expenditure for the diagnosis and treatment of CRC seemed catastrophic,and non-medical expenditure was non-ignorable. 3Chemical characteristics of fine particles and their impact on visibility impairment in Shanghai based on a 1-year period observation显示文摘In this work, a one-year observation focusing on high time resolution characteristics of components in fine particles was conducted at an urban site in Shanghai. Contributions of different components on visibility impairment were also studied. Our research indicates that the major components of PM_(2.5) in Shanghai are water-soluble inorganic ions and carbonaceous aerosol, accounting for about 60% and 30% respectively. Higher concentrations of sulfate(SO42-) and organic carbon(OC) in PM_(2.5) occurred in fall and summer, while higher concentrations of nitrate(NO_3^-) were observed in winter and spring. The mass concentrations of Cl^- and K^+ were higher in winter. Moreover, NO_3^- increased significantly during PM_(2.5) pollution episodes. The high values observed for the sulfate oxidizing rate(SOR), nitrate oxidizing rate(NOR) and secondary organic carbon(SOC) in OC indicate that photochemical reactions were quite active in Shanghai. The IMPROVE(Interagency Monitoring of Protected Visual Environments) formula was used in this study to investigate the contributions of individual PM_(2.5) chemical components to the light extinction efficient in Shanghai. Both NH_4NO_3 and(NH_4)_2SO_4 had close relationships with visibility impairment in Shanghai. 5Chemical and optical properties of aerosols and their interrelationship in winter in the megacity Shanghai of China显示文摘A field campaign on air quality was carried out in Shanghai in winter of 2012. The concentrations of NO, NO2, NOx, SO2, CO, and PM2.5increased during haze formation. The average masses of SO42-, NO3-and NH4+were 10.3, 11.7 and 6.7 μg/m3 during the haze episodes, which exceeded the average(9.2, 7.9, and 3.4 μg/m3) of these components in the non-haze days. The mean values for the aerosol scattering coefficient(b sp), aerosol absorption coefficient(b ap) and single scattering albedo(SSA) were 288.7, 27.7 and0.91 Mm-1, respectively. A bi-peak distribution was observed for the mass concentrations of CO, NO, NO2, and NOx. More sulfate was produced during daytime than that in the evening due to photochemical reactions. The mass concentration of NH4+achieved a small peak at noontime. NO3-showed lower concentrations in the afternoon and higher concentrations in the early morning. There were obvious bi-peak diurnal patterns for b sp and b ap as well as SSA. b sp and b ap showed a positive correlation with PM2.5mass concentration.(NH4)2SO4, NH4NO3, organic mass, elemental carbon and coarse mass accounted for 21.7%, 19.3%, 31.0%, 9.3% and 12.3% of the total extinction coefficient during non-haze days, and 25.6%, 24.3%, 30.1%, 8.1% and 8.2% during hazy days. Organic matter was the largest contributor to light extinction. 6Dynamic Responses of Top Tensioned Riser Under Combined Excitation of Internal Solitary Wave, Surface Wave and Vessel Motion显示文摘An investigation on the dynamic response of a top tensioned riser (TTR) under combined excitation of internal solitary wave, surface wave and vessel motion is presented in this paper. The riser is idealized as a tensioned slender beam with dynamic boundary conditions. The KdV-mKdV equation is chosen to simulate the internal solitary wave, and the vessel motion is analysed by using the method proposed by Sexton. Using finite element method, the governing equation is solved in time domain with Newmark-β method. The computation programs for solving the differential equations in time domain are compiled and numerical results are obtained, including dimensionless displacement and stress. The action of internal solitary wave on the riser is like a slow powerful impact, and is much larger than those of surface wave and vessel motion. When the riser is under combined excitation, it vibrates at frequencies of both surface wave and vessel motion, and the vibration is dominated by internal solitary wave. As the internal solitary wave crest passes by the centre of the riser, the maximum displacement and stress along the riser occur. 10Medical expenditure for esophageal cancer in China:a 10-year multicenter retrospective survey(2002-2011)显示文摘Background: Esophageal cancer is associated with substantial disease burden in China, and data on the economic burden are fundamental for setting priorities in cancer interventions. The medical expenditure for the diagnosis and treatment of esophageal cancer in China has not been fully quantified. This study aimed to examine the medical expenditure of Chinese patients with esophageal cancer and the associated trends.Methods: From 2012 to 2014, a hospital-based multicenter retrospective survey was conducted in 37 hospitals in 13 provinces/municipalities across China as a part of the Cancer Screening Program of Urban China. For each esophageal cancer patient diagnosed between 2002 and 2011, clinical information and expense data were extracted by using structured questionnaires. All expense data were reported in Chinese Yuan(CNY; 1 CNY = 0.155 USD) based on the2011 value and inflated using the year-specific health care consumer price index for China.Results: A total of 14,967 esophageal cancer patients were included in the analysis. It was estimated that the overall average expenditure per patient was 38,666 CNY, and an average annual increase of 6.27% was observed from 2002(25,111 CNY) to 2011(46,124 CNY). The average expenditures were 34,460 CNY for stage Ⅰ,39,302 CNY for stage Ⅱ,40,353 CNY for stage Ⅲ, and 37,432 CNY for stage IV diseases(P < 0.01). 15Overexpression of metastasis-associated in colon cancer 1 predicts a poor outcome of hepatitis B virus-related hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To investigate the intratumoral expression of metastasis-associated in colon cancer 1 (MACC1) and c-Met and determine their clinical values associated with hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). METHODS: A retrospective study admitted three hundred fifty-four patients with HBV-related HCC. The expression and distribution of MACC1 and c-Met were assessed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemistry staining. Prognostic factors influencing survival, metastasis and recurrence were assessed. RESULTS: Intratumoral MACC1 level was found to be associated with HCC disease progression. Both median tumor-free survival (TFS) and overall survival (OS) were significantly shorter in the postoperative HCC patients with high intratumoral MACC1 expression, as compared to those with low intratumoral MACC1 levels (TFS: 34 mo vs 48.0 mo, P < 0.001; OS: 40 mo vs 48 mo, P < 0.01). Multivariable analysis indicated that high MACC1 expression or co-expression with c-Met were independent predictors for HCC clinic outcome (P < 0.001). CONCLUSION: High intratumoral MACC1 expression can be associated with enhanced tumor progression and poor outcome of HBV-related HCC. 16An AIEgens and exonuclease Ⅲ aided quadratic amplification assay for detecting and cellular imaging of telomerase activity显示文摘Monitoring telomerase activity with high sensitive and reliable is of great importance to cancer analysis.In this paper, we report a sensitive and facile method to detect telomerase activity using AIEgens modified probe(TPE-Py-DNA) as a fluorescence reporter and exonuclease Ⅲ(Exo Ⅲ) as a signal amplifier.With the aid of telomerase, repeat units(TTAGGG)n are extended from the end of template substrate oligonucleotides(TS primer) that form duplex DNAs with TPE-Py-DNA. Then, Exo Ⅲ catalyzes the digestion of duplex DNAs, liberating elongation product and releasing hydrophobic TPE-Py. The released hydrophobic TPE-Py aggregate together and produce a telomerase-activity-related fluorescence signal.The liberated product hybridizes with another TPE-Py-DNA probe, starting the second cycle. Finally,we obtain the target-to-signal amplification ratio of 1:N^2. 17The nucleoprotein of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus processes a stable hexameric ring to facilitate RNA encapsidation显示文摘Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus(SFTSV),a member of the Phlebovirus genus from the Bunyaviridae family endemic to China,is the causative agent of life-threatening severe fever with thrombocyto-penia syndrome(SFTS),which features high fever and hemorrhage.Similar to other negative-sense RNA viruses,SFTSV encodes a nucleocapsid protein(NP)that is essen-tial for viral replication.NP facilitates viral RNA encapsida-tion and is responsible for the formation of ribonucleopro-tein complex.However,recent studies have indicated that NP from Phlebovirus members behaves in inhomogene-ous oligomerization states.In the present study,we report the crystal structure of SFTSV NP at 2.8Åresolution and demonstrate the mechanism by which it processes a ring-shaped hexameric form to accomplish RNA encapsida-tion.Key residues essential for oligomerization are identi-fi ed through mutational analysis and identifi ed to have a signifi cant impact on RNA binding,which suggests that correct formation of highly ordered oligomers is a criti-cal step in RNA encapsidation.The fi ndings of this work provide new insights into the discovery of new antiviral reagents for Phlebovirus infection.Honggang Zhou Yuna Sun Ying Wang Min Liu Chao Liu Wenming Wang Xiang Liu Le Li Fei Deng Hualin Wang Yu Guo Zhiyong Lou 2013Protein & Cell2013,4,6:4

20Multimodal imaging findings in normal-appearing white matter of leucoaraiosis: a review显示文摘Leucoaraiosis(LA),also referred to as white matter hyperintensities(WMHs),are usually seen as patchy or confluent hyperintense areas on T2-weighted or fluid-attenuated inversion recovery MRI in the elderly.It is often asymptomatic in its early stages,yet its persistent evolution to more advanced stages may lead to substantial neurological dysfunction including dementia,stroke and death.Despite its clinical significance,the pathogenic mechanisms underlying LA development are uncertain.In patients with LA,the pathophysiological changes in white matter(WM)are suggested to be continuous from WMHs to its neighbourhood‘normal-appearing white matter(NAWM)’on conventional MRI sequences.Multimodal imaging studies revealed that the so-called‘NAWM’was actually abnormal with regard to underlying haemodynamic and microstructural changes.On the basis of positron emission tomography CT,xenon-CT,perfusion MRI,etc,the cerebral blood flow of NAWM was found to be significantly reduced in patients with LA,compared with healthy controls.Meanwhile,the integrity of microstructures and blood–brain barrier in NAWM was also demonstrated to be impaired with diffusion tensor imaging and dynamic contrastenhanced MRI studies,respectively.In addition,the integrity of NAWM correlated much stronger with cognitive performance than did WMHs load.It is reasonable to assume that the subtle injury of NAWM would be more reversible than WMHs themselves.Therefore,multimodal imaging modalities could be appropriately applied to future interventional studies targeting at early pathophysiological changes of NAWM.In this paper,we summarise current knowledge about NAWM of LA mainly acquired from multimodal imaging studies in vivo,and attempt to give options for future work.Genlong Zhong Min Lou 2016Stroke & Vascular Neurology2016,1,2:3
