| 1 | Seasonal variation and source apportionment of organic and inorganic compounds in PM_(2.5) and PM_(10) particulates in Beijing,China显示文摘The distribution and source of the solvent-extractable organic and inorganic components in PM 2.5(aerodynamics equivalent diameter below 2.5 microns),and PM 10(aerodynamics equivalent diameter below 10 microns) fractions of airborne particles were studied weekly from September 2006 to August 2007 in Beijing.The extracted organic and inorganic compounds identified in both particle size ranges consisted of n-alkanes,PAHs(polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons),fatty acids and water soluble ions.The potential emission sources of these organic compounds were reconciled by combining the values of n-alkane carbon preference index(CPI),%waxC n,selected diagnostic ratios of PAHs and principal component analysis in both size ranges.The mean cumulative concentrations of n-alkanes reached 1128.65ng/m3 in Beijing,74% of which(i.e.,831.7ng/m3) was in the PM 2.5 fraction,PAHs reached 136.45ng/m3(113.44ng/m3 or 83% in PM 2.5),and fatty acids reached 436.99ng/m3(324.41ng/m3 or 74% in PM 2.5),which resulted in overall enrichment in the fine particles.The average concentrations of SO42-,NO3-,and NH4+ were 21.3±15.2,6.1±1.8,12.5±6.1μg/m3 in PM 2.5,and 25.8±15.5,8.9±2.6,16.9±9.5μg/m3 in PM 10,respectively.These three secondary ions primarily existed as ammonium sulfate((NH4)2SO4),ammonium bisulfate(NH4HSO4) and ammonium nitrate(NH4NO3).The characteristic ratios of PAHs revealed that the primary sources of PAHs were coal combustion,followed by gasoline combustion.The ratios of stearic/palmitic acid indicated the major contribution of vehicle emissions to fatty acids in airborne particles.The major alkane sources were biogenic sources and fossil fuel combustion.The major sources of PAHs were vehicular emission and coal combustion. | Xingru Li Yuesi Wang Xueqing Guo Yingfeng Wang | 2013 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,4: | 34 |
| 2 | Distribution and sources of solvent extractable organic compounds in PM_(2.5) during 2007 Chinese Spring Festival in Beijing显示文摘The solvent extractable organic compounds (SEOC), including n-alkanes, polycylic aromatic hydrocarbons, fatty acids, anddicarboxylic acids in PM2.5 during the 2007 Chinese Spring Festival in Beijing, were measured via gas chromatography-massspectrometry for determining the characteristics and sources of these organic pollutants. The concentrations of total n-alkanes, PAHs,and organic acids before Chinese Spring Festival Eve (1025.5, 95.9, and 543.3 ng/m3, respectively) were higher than those after (536.6,58.9, and 331.8 ng/m3, respectively). n-Aalkanes and PAHs had much higher concentration in nighttime than those in daytime becauseof high relative humidity and low wind speed during the night. Combustion of coal and exhaust emission were major sources of n-alkanes. It could be concluded by the characteristic ratios that the primary source of PAHs in fine particles was the combustion of coal,but the combustion of gasoline was in the next place. The ratios of C18:0/C16 indicated the contribution of vehicular emissions to thefatty acids. | 3 | Polybrominated diphenyl ethers in chicken tissues and eggs from an electronic waste recycling area in southeast China显示文摘The levels and distributions of polybrominated diphenyl ethers(PBDEs) in chicken tissues from an electronic waste(e-waste) recycling area in southeast China were investigated.Human dietary intake by local residents via chicken muscle and eggs was estimated.The mean PBDEs concentrations in tissues ranged from 15.2 to 3138.1 ng/g lipid weight(lw) and in egg the concentration was 563.5 ng/g lw.The results showed that the level of total PBDEs(ΣPBDEs) in the chicken tissue was 2-3 orders of magnitude higher than those reported in the literature.The large difference of ΣPBDEs concentrations between tissues confirmed that the distribution of PBDEs in tissues depend on tissue-specificity rather than the 'lipid-compartment'.BDE-209 was the predominant congener(82.5%-94.7% of ΣPBDEs) in all chicken tissues except in brain(34.7% of ΣPBDEs),which indicated that deca-BDE(the major commercial PBDE formulation comprising 65%-70% of total production) was major pollution source in this area and could be bioaccumulated in terrestrial animals.The dietary PBDEs intake of the local residents from chicken muscle and egg,assuming only local bred chickens and eggs were consumed,ranged from 2.2 to 22.5 ng/(day·kg body weight(bw)) with a mean value of 13.5 ng/(day·kg bw),which was one order of magnitude higher than the value reported in previous studies for consumption of all foodstuffs. | Xiaofei Qin Zhanfen Qin Yan Li Yaxian Zhao Xijuan Xia Shishuai Yan Mi Tian Xingru Zhao Xiaobai Xu Yongjian Yang | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,1: | 8 |
| 4 | Pollen evidence from Baode of the northern Loess Plateau of China and strong East Asian summer monsoons during the Early Pliocene显示文摘The red clay eolian sequence on the Chinese Loess Plateau (CLP) is an important archive for paleoclimate change from the late Miocene to Pliocene,and can provide significant information for the controversial problems of East Asian monsoon evolution and its forcing mechanism.In this study,we present a pollen record from Baode,northern CLP.The record shows four stages of paleoecological evolution.From 5.6-4.4 Ma,a forest steppe ecosystem developed under an extremely warm period with high seasonal precipitation.Since 4.4 Ma,a drier episode occurred,which prompted parkland landscapes to develop.During 3.5-3.05 Ma,the environment changed to a rather open steppe ecosystem with a much cooler and drier climate.After 3.05 Ma,the vegetation evolved to forest steppe.Using the percentages of arboreal plants to mirror precipitation,and comparing with other published pollen data from the CLP,we find the existence of S-N directionality of the precipitation change and high percentage of arboreal plants in the entire CLP during the Early Pliocene,which suggest the CLP was characterized by a strong East Asian summer monsoon.The strong summer monsoon corresponds well to the low global ice volume,which may illuminate global climate mechanism for the summer monsoon evolution in the early Pliocene. | LI XingRu FANG XiaoMin WU FuLi MIAO YunFa | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,1: | 7 |
| 5 | Ecotoxicological effects of mixed pollutants resulted from e-wastes recycling and bioaccumulation of polybrominated diphenyl ethers in Chinese loach(Misgurnus anguillicaudatus)显示文摘To understand potential ecotoxicological effects of electrical and electronic equipment waste (e-waste) recycling and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) bioaccumulation in loaches, a semi-field experiment using Chinese loach (Misgurnus anguillicaudatus) as experimental fish was performed. Larval loaches were kept in net-cage for three months in an e-wastes recycling site and a reference site in Southeastern China. There was significant difference of the survival rate between the loaches from the e-wastes recycling site (27%, 19/70) and from reference site (70%, 49/70). Histopathological responses were also found in all the livers examined in loaches from the e-wastes recycling site. These results showed that mixed pollutants resulted from e-wastes recycling led to ecotoxicological effects on loaches. The bioaccumulation of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), the main pollutants in e-waste, in loaches was also studied, the mean concentration of total PBDEs in sediment was 6726.17 ng/g wet weight and in water samples was 4.08 ng/L (dissolved phase). BDE 209 was the dominant congener in sediment and with relatively high concentration in water. | 6 | Secondary organic aerosols in Jinan, an urban site in North China: Significant anthropogenic contributions to heavy pollution显示文摘Secondary organic aerosols(SOAs) are an important component of particulates, but whether biogenic SOAs(BSOAs) or anthropogenic SOAs(ASOAs) are the dominant contributors to haze pollution remains poorly characterized. In this study, particulate samples were collected from September 2014 to August 2015 at an urban site in Jinan, which is the capital of Shandong Province and a typical city in the North China Plain. The PM2.5 samples were analyzed for BSOA(isoprene(SOAI) and monoterpenes(SOAM)) and ASOA(aromatic(SOAA)) tracers. The concentrations of the SOAAtracer(1.1 ± 1.0 ng/m3) were lowest, and those of SOAItracers(41.8 ± 86.2 ng/m3) were highest, with the concentrations of SOAMtracers(19.4 ± 9.9 ng/m3) being intermediate. The SOAItracers were more abundant in the summer and less abundant in the winter. Both SOAIand SOAMincreased with increasing ozone level but decreased with increasing NOx level. Correlation analysis revealed a good correlation between 2,3-dihydroxy-4-oxopentanoic acid and levoglucosan levels in three seasons. These results suggested that biomass burning activities occurring in the NCP can enhance the emissions of aromatics and should be controlled, especially in the autumn and winter. SOA tracers were classified according to pollution degree, and the results showed that as pollution increases, the contributions of SOAAincrease. | 7 | Source apportionment of PM_(2.5)and visibility in Jinan,China显示文摘Atmospheric extinction is impacted by the chemical composition of particles.To better understand the chemical composition of PM_(2.5)(particles with diameters of less than 2.5μm)and its relationship with extinction,one-month sampling campaigns were carried out in four different seasons from 2013 to 2014 in Jinan,China.The seasonal average concentrations of PM_(2.5)were 120.9(autumn),156.6(winter),102.5(spring),and 111.8μg/m^(3)(summer).The reconstructed PM_(2.5)chemical composition showed that sulfate,nitrate,chlorine salt,organic matter(OM),mineral dust,elemental carbon(EC)and others accounted for 25%,14%,2%,24%,22%,3%and 10%,respectively.The relationship between the chemical composition of PM_(2.5)and visibility was reconstructed by the IMPROVE method,and ammonium sulfate,ammonium nitrate,OM and EC dominated the visibility.Seven main sources were resolved for PM_(2.5),including secondary particles,coal combustion,biomass burning,industry,motor vehicle exhaust,soil dust and cooking,which accounted for 37%,21%,13%,13%,12%,3%and 1%,respectively.The contributions of different sources to visibility were similar to those to PM_(2.5).With increasing severity of air pollution,the contributions of secondary particles and coal combustion increased,while the contribution of motor vehicle exhaust decreased.The results showed that coal combustion and biomass burning were still the main sources of air pollution in Jinan. | Mengtian Cheng Guiqian Tang Bo Lv Xingru Li Xinrui Wu Yiming Wang Yuesi Wang | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,4: | 5 |
| 8 | Sedimentary Patterns and Stratigraphic Trap Models of Deeply Buried Intervals in the Baxian Depression, North China显示文摘The Baxian depression is a typical half-graben located in the Jizhong sub-basin, north China. Commercial petroleum traps have been discovered in the Jizhong sub-basin. However, the 3^(rd) and 4^(th) members of the Shahejie Formation in this sub-basin have been poorly explored. These two members, belonging to the Lower Paleogene age, are buried deeply in the depression. Favorable petroleum reservoir conditions exist in such deep intervals of the half-graben due to the presence of different types and extent of deltas and turbidity fans in various areas. In fact, three types of turbidite fans are developed in the sag below the transitional belt on the eastern gentle slope. This work summarized three stratigraphic trap belts, i.e., the steep slope, gentle slope, and sag. On the steep slope, structuralstratigraphic traps with small-scale delta fronts and turbidite sandbodies are well developed. On the gentle slope, hydrocarbons generally accumulate in the large-scale delta front, onlapping beds and those sandbodies adjacent to unconformities. In the sag, petroleum trap models are typically characterized by pinched-out turbidite sandbodies. Stratigraphic traps were easily formed in turbidite fans below the eastern transitional belt. | 9 | Magnetic coupling engineered porous dielectric carbon within ultralow filler loading toward tunable and high-performance microwave absorption显示文摘Developing microwave absorption(MA)materials with satisfied comprehensive performance is a great challenge for tackling severe electromagnetic pollution.In particular,the magnetic component/carbon hybrids absorbers always suffer from high filler loading.Herein,we propose a feasible strategy to construct hierarchical porous carbon with tightly embedded Ni nanoparticles(Ni@NPC).These highly dispersed Ni nanoparticles produce strong magnetic coupling networks to enhance magnetic loss abilities.Moreover,the interconnected hierarchical dielectric carbon network affords favorable dipolar/interfacial polarization,conduction loss,multiple reflection and scattering.Impressively,with an ultralow filler loading of 5 wt.%,the resultant Ni@NPC/paraffin composite achieves an excellent MA performance with a minimum reflection loss of as high as-72.4 dB and a broad absorption bandwidth of 5.0 GHz.This capability outperforms most current magnetic-dielectric hybrids counterparts.Furthermore,the MA capacity can be easily tuned with adjustments in thickness,content and type of magnetic material.Thus,this work opens up new avenues for the development of high-performance and lightweight MA materials. | Wang Yang Bo Jiang Zhihui Liu Rui Li Liqiang Hou Zhengxuan Li Yongli Duan Xingru Yan Fan Yang Yongfeng Li | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,11: | 3 |

| 15 | Crystal structures and biochemical studies of human lysophosphatidic acid phosphatase type 6显示文摘Lysophosphatidic acid(LPA)is an important bioac-tive phospholipid involved in cell signaling through G-protein-coupled receptors pathways.It is also involved in balancing the lipid composition inside the cell,and modulates the function of lipid rafts as an intermediate in phospholipid metabolism.Because of its involvement in these important processes,LPA degradation needs to be regulated as precisely as its production.Lysophospha-tidic acid phosphatase type 6(ACP6)is an LPA-specifi c acid phosphatase that hydrolyzes LPA to monoacylglyc-erol(MAG)and phosphate.Here,we report three crystal structures of human ACP6 in complex with malonate,L-(+)-tartrate and tris,respectively.Our analyses revealed that ACP6 possesses a highly conserved Rossmann-fold-like body domain as well as a less conserved cap domain.The vast hydrophobic substrate-binding pocket,which is located between those two domains,is suitable for ac-commodating LPA,and its shape is different from that of other histidine acid phosphatases,a fact that is consistent with the observed difference in substrate preferences.Our analysis of the binding of three molecules in the active site reveals the involvement of six conserved and crucial residues in binding of the LPA phosphate group and its catalysis.The structure also indicates a water-supplying channel for substrate hydrolysis.Our structural data are consistent with the fact that the enzyme is active as a monomer.In combination with additional mutagenesis and enzyme activity studies,our structural data provide important insights into substrate recognition and the mechanism for catalytic activity of ACP6. | Jun Li Yu Dong Xingru Lü Lu Wang Wei Peng Xuejun C.Zhang Zihe Rao | 2013 | Protein & Cell2013,4,7: | 0 |

| 18 | Electrochemical synthesis of FeN_(x) doped carbon quantum dots for sensitive detection of Cu^(2+) ion显示文摘A novel strategy was developed to fabricate FeNx-doped carbon quantum dots(Fe-N-CQDs)to detect Cu^(2+) ions selectively as a fluorescence probe.The Fe-N-CQDs were synthesized by an efficient electrolysis of a carbon cloth electrode,which was coated with monoatomic ironanchored nitrogen-doped carbon(Fe-N-C).The obtained Fe-N-CQDs emitted blue fluorescence and possessed a quantum yield(QY)of 7.5%.An extremely wide linear relationship between the Cu^(2+) concentration and the fluorescence intensity was obtained in the range from 100 nmol L^(-1) to 1000 nmol L^(-1)(R^(2)=0.997),and the detection limit was calculated as 59 nmol L^(-1).Moreover,the Fe-N-CQDs demonstrated wide range pH compatibility between 2 and 13 due to the coordination between pyridine nitrogen and Fe^(3+),which dramatically reduced the affection of the protonation and deprotonation process between H^(+) and Fe-N-CQDs.It is notable that the Fe-N-CQDs exhibited a rapid response in Cu^(2+) detection,where stable quenching can be completed in 7 s.The mechanism of excellent selective detection of Cu^(2+) was revealed by energy level simulation that the LUMO level of Fe-N-CQDs(-4.37 eV)was close to the redox potential of Cu^(2+),thus facilitating the electron transport from Fe-N-CQDs to Cu^(2+). | Siyuan Sun Weijie Bao Fan Yang Xingru Yan Yang Sun Ge Zhang Wang Yang Yongfeng Li | 2023 | Green Energy & Environment2023,8,1: | 0 |
| 19 | Numerical Characterization of the Annular Flow Behavior and Pressure Loss in Deepwater Drilling Riser显示文摘In drilling a deepwater well,the mud density window is narrow,which needs a precise pressure control to drill the well to its designed depth.Therefore,an accurate characterization of annular flow between the drilling riser and drilling string is critical in well control and drilling safety.Many other factors influencing the change of drilling pressure that should be but have not been studied sufficiently.We used numerical method to simulate the process of drill string rotation and vibration in the riser to show that the rotation and transverse vibration of drill string can increase the axial velocity in the annulus,which results in the improvement of the flow field in the annulus,and the effect on pressure loss and its fluctuation amplitude.In addition,there are also multiple secondary flow vortices in the riser annulus under certain eccentricity conditions,which is different from the phenomenon in an ordinary wellbore.The findings of this research are critical in safely controlling well drilling operation in the deepwater environment. | Chengwen Liu Lin Zhu Xingru Wu Jian Liang Zhaomin Li | 2020 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,8: | 0 |
