| 1 | Higher PD-1 expression concurrent with exhausted CD8+ T cells in patients with de novo acute myeloid leukemia显示文摘Objective: To investigate the association between the T cell inhibitory receptor programmed death 1(PD-1)and T cell exhaustion status in T cells from patients with de novo acute myeloid leukemia(AML) and AML in complete remission(CR).Methods:Surface expression of PD-1 and the exhaustion and immunosenescence markers CD244 and CD57 on CD3+,CD4+ and CD8+ T cells from peripheral blood samples from 20 newly diagnosed,untreated AML patients and 10 cases with AML in CR was analyzed by flow cytometry.Twenty-three healthy individuals served as control.Results:A significantly higher percentage of PD-1+ cells were found for CD3+ T cells in the de novo AML group compared with healthy controls.In addition,an increased level of PD-1+ CD8+ T cells,but not PD-1+ CD4+,was found for CD3+ T cells in the de novo AML and AML-CR samples.A higher percentage of CD244+ CD4+,CD244+ CD8+,CD57+ CD4+ and CD57+ CD8+ T cells was found in CD3+ T cells in samples from those with de novo AML compared with those from healthy controls.Strong increased PD-1+ CD244+ and PD-1+ CD57+ coexpression was found for CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in the de novo AML group compared with healthy controls.Conclusions:We characterized the major T cell defects,including co-expression of PD-1 and CD244,CD57-exhausted T cells in patients with de novo AML,and found a particular influence on CD8+ T cells,suggesting a poor anti-leukemia immune response in these patients. | Jiaxiong Tan Shaohua Chen Yuhong Lu Danlin Yao Ling Xu Yikai Zhang Lijian Yang Jie Chen Jing Lai Zhi Yu Kanger Zhu Yangqiu Li | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2017,29,5: | 10 |

| 4 | Design and characterization of plasticized bacterial cellulose/waterborne polyurethane composite with antibacterial function for nasal stenting显示文摘A nasal stent capable of preventing adhesions and inflammation is of great value in treating nasal diseases.In order to solve the problems of tissue adhesion and inflammation response,we prepared plasticized bacterial cellulose(BCG)and waterborne polyurethane(WPU)composite with antibacterial function used as a novel nasal stent.The gelation behavior of BCG could contribute to protecting the paranasal sinus mucosa;meanwhile,the WPU with improved mechanical property was aimed at supporting the narrow nasal cavity.The thickness,size and the supporting force of the nasal stent could be adjusted according to the specific conditions of the nasal.Thermogravimetric analysis,contact angle and water absorption test were applied to investigate the thermal,hydrophilic and water absorption properties of the composite materials.The composite materials loaded with poly(hexamethylene biguanide)hydrochloride maintained well antibacterial activity over 12days.Animal experiments further revealed that the mucosal epithelium mucosae damage of BCG-WPU composite was minor compared with that of WPU.This new type of drug-loaded nasal stent can effectively address the postoperative adhesions and infections while ensuring the health of nasal mucosal,and thus has an immense clinical application prospects in treating nasal diseases. | Zhaoxuan Feng Minglu Li Xing Jin Yudong Zheng Junxiu Liu Liang Zhao Yansen Wang Hao Li Danlin Zuo | 2020 | Regenerative Biomaterials2020,7,6: | 1 |

| 7 | Distribution and gas-bearing properties of Permian igneous rocks in Sichuan Basin, SW China显示文摘Based on the analysis of outcrop, seismic, logging and drilling data, combined with exploration practice, the characteristics,distribution, reservoir performance and gas-bearing properties of Permian igneous rocks in Sichuan Basin are studied. The study shows that central volcanic eruptive facies are developed in Sichuan Basin, and their lithological assemblages and distribution characteristics show obvious differences. The igneous rocks are mainly distributed in three regions: the southwestern part of the basin has dominantly largescale overflow facies basalts; the central and western part of the basin, Jianyang-Santai area, develop intrusive rocks, volcanic lavas(basalts)and pyroclastic rocks; and the eastern part of Sichuan, Dazhou-Liangping area, only develop diabase and basalts. Five aspects of understandings are achieved:(1) The Upper Permian igneous rocks can be divided into intrusive rocks and extrusive rocks, with the extrusive rocks as the main body. The chemical compositions of the extrusive rocks are characterized by both alkaline basalt and tholeiitic basalt, and belong to the subalkaline type of transitional basalt magma eruption.(2) There are obvious rhythmic structures vertically among overflow facies basalt, and the single rhythmic layer consists of, from bottom up, pyroclastic rocks(undeveloped), gray and dark gray porphyritic basalts(unstable), dark gray and purple microcrystalline-cryptocrystalline basalts, dark greyish green porous and amygdaloid basalts; the central volcanic eruption shows the rhythm and the vertical sequence of volcanic clastic rocks(agglomerates and breccias), volcanic lava, tuffaceous lava from bottom to top.(3) The pore types of basalt and pyroclastic rocks are diverse, mainly dissolution pore and de-vitrification micropore, but their physical properties are different. Basalt is characterized by ultra-low pore permeability, small reservoir thickness, and reservoirs are distributed in the upper and middle parts of the cycle, with poor lateral comparability. Volcanic clastic rocks are medium to high porous reservoirs(Well YT1: porosity: 8.66%?16.48%, average 13.76%) with large thickness and good reservoir quality.(4) Natural gas in basalts in southwestern basin mainly comes from Middle Permian, and natural gas in volcanic clastic rocks in central and western basin comes from Cambrian Qiongzhusi Formation.(5) Analysis of igneous reservoir-forming conditions in different areas shows that there are relatively insufficient gas sources and great differences in preservation conditions in southwestern basin.Reservoirs are poorly developed and gas-bearing is complex. | 8 | Effectiveness and safety of Jinshuibao capsules(金水宝胶囊)in treatment of residual cardiopulmonary symptoms in convalescent patients of coronavirus disease 2019:a pilot randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Jinshuibao capsules(金水宝胶囊),a Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),in the treatment of residual cardiopulmonary symptoms in convalescent corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients.METHODS:A total of 200 participants with COVID-19 in convalescence phase were randomly assigned into two groups at a 1:1 ratio in this multicenter randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled trial.One group received Jinshuibao capsules,and the other received placebo.The patients were followed up at one and two weeks of treatment.Five symptoms(dry cough,shortness of breath,sweating,chest tightness and palpitation)improvement rates and full recovery rates were compared.RESULTS:All baseline characteristics were comparable between the two groups.After two weeks of treatment,symptom improvement rates for dry cough(74.00%vs 50.00%,P=0.015),shortness of breath(78.95%vs 46.15%,P<0.001),sweating(80.00%vs 57.75%,P=0.004),chest tightness(87.06%vs 60.47%,P<0.001)and palpitation(82.50%vs 64.56%,P=0.010)were significantly higher in the Jinshuibao group compared with the control group.Meanwhile,Jinshuibao capsules treatment also displayed more satisfactory full recovery rates of all five symptoms(dry cough 58.00%vs 19.57%,shortness of breath 18.95%vs 7.69%,sweating 36.00%vs 19.72%,chest tightness 32.94%vs 13.95%,and palpitation 48.75%vs 29.11%)in participants with COVID-19 in convalescence phase compared with the control group(P<0.05).No severe adverse events were reported in either group.CONCLUSIONS:Jinshuibao capsules have the potential to improve residual cardiopulmonary symptoms in convalescent COVID-19 patients,with few adverse events. | ZHANG Yuehong DONG Dandan YAN Youqin ZHANG Hao WANG Guangli ZHOU Wei LI Wei QIU Li LI Tingming LIU Quan XIA Ping MAO Lina YANG Danlin YANG Lu LIAN Fengmei TONG Xiaolin BA Yuanming | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1: | 0 |
| 9 | Development of a Bayesian inference model for assessing ventilation condition based on CO_(2)meters in primary schools显示文摘Outdoor fresh air ventilation plays a significant role in reducing airborne transmission of diseases in indoor spaces.School classrooms are considerably challenged during the COVID-19 pandemic because of the increasing need for in-person education,untimely and incompleted vaccinations,high occupancy density,and uncertain ventilation conditions.Many schools started to use CO_(2)meters to indicate air quality,but how to interpret the data remains unclear.Many uncertainties are also involved,including manual readings,student numbers and schedules,uncertain CO_(2)generation rates,and variable indoor and ambient conditions.This study proposed a Bayesian inference approach with sensitivity analysis to understand CO_(2)readings in four primary schools by identifying uncertainties and calibrating key parameters.The outdoor ventilation rate,CO_(2)generation rate,and occupancy level were identified as the top sensitive parameters for indoor CO_(2)levels.The occupancy schedule becomes critical when the CO_(2)data are limited,whereas a 15-min measurement interval could capture dynamic CO_(2)profiles well even without the occupancy information.Hourly CO_(2)recording should be avoided because it failed to capture peak values and overestimated the ventilation rates.For the four primary school rooms,the calibrated ventilation rate with a 95%confidence level for fall condition is 1.96±0.31 ACH for Room#1(165 m^(3)and 20 occupancies)with mechanical ventilation,and for the rest of the naturally ventilated rooms,it is 0.40±0.08 ACH for Room#2(236 m^(3)and 21 occupancies),0.30±0.04 or 0.79±0.06 ACH depending on occupancy schedules for Room#3(236 m^(3)and 19 occupancies),0.40±0.32,0.48±0.37,0.72±0.39 ACH for Room#4(231 m^(3)and 8–9 occupancies)for three consecutive days. | Danlin Hou Liangzhu(Leon)Wang Ali Katal Shujie Yan Liang(Grace)Zhou Vicky Wang Mark Vuotari Ethan Li Zihan Xie | 2023 | Building Simulation2023,16,1: | 0 |
| 10 | Progressively narrow the gap of PM_(2.5) pollution characteristics at urban and suburban sites in a megacity of Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘Nowadays,the fine particle pollution is still severe in some megacities of China,especially in the Sichuan Basin,southwestern China.In order to understand the causes,sources,and impacts of fine particles,we collected PM_(2.5)samples and analyzed their chemical composition in typical months from July 2018 to May 2019 at an urban and a suburban (background) site of Chengdu,a megacity in this region.The daily average concentrations of PM_(2.5)ranged from5.6-102.3μg/m^(3)and 4.3-110.4μg/m^(3)at each site.Secondary inorganics and organic matters were the major components in PM_(2.5)at both sites.The proportion of nitrate in PM_(2.5)has exceeded sulfate and become the primary inorganic component.SO_(2)was easier to transform into sulfate in urban areas because of Mn-catalytic heterogeneous reactions.In contrast,NO_(2)was easily converted in suburbs with high aerosol water content.Furthermore,organic carbon in urban was much greater than that in rural,other than elemental carbon.Element Cr and As were the key cancer risk drivers.The main sources of PM_(2.5)in urban and suburban areas were all secondary aerosols (42.9%,32.1%),combustion (16.0%,25.2%) and vehicle emission (15.2%,19.2%).From clean period to pollution period,the contributions from combustion and secondary aerosols increased markedly.In addition to tightening vehicle controls,urban areas need to restrict emissions from steel smelters,and suburbs need to minimize coal and biomass combustion in autumn and winter. | Ning Wang Li Zhou Miao Feng Tianli Song Zhuoran Zhao Danlin Song Qinwen Tan Fumo Yang | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,4: | 0 |
