Risk analysis system of geo-hazard based on GIS technique显示文摘The socio-economic attribute of geo-hazard made us distinguish it fiom the traditional engineering geology study. It will get more social benefit from the analysis of the geo-hazard in the socio-economic attribute. The hazard and the vulnerability of the element controls the risk level of the regional geo-hazard. The risk analysis supported by GIS in geo-hazard study is one of the most important directions. Based on the author′s studies in recent years, a risk analysis system of regional geo-hazard (RiskAnly) has been developed on the basis of software MAPGIS. The paper introduces the train of system design, the structure and the workflow of RiskAnly. As a case study, the paper also deals with the risk zonation of the regional landslide hazard of China. | ZHU Liangfeng, ZHANG Guirong, YIN Kunlong, ZHANG Liang (1. | 2 | Spatial prediction of landslide susceptibility using GIS-based statistical and machine learning models in Wanzhou County,Three Gorges Reservoir, China显示文摘Landslide susceptibility mapping is vital for landslide risk management and urban planning. In this study,we used three statistical models[frequency ratio, certainty factor and index of entropy(IOE)]and a machine learning model[random forest(RF)]for landslide susceptibility mapping in Wanzhou County,China.First,a landslide inventory map was prepared using earlier geotechnical investigation reports, aerial images, and field surveys. Then, the redundant factors were excluded from the initial fourteen landslide causal factors via factor correlation analysis. To determine the most effective causal factors, landslide susceptibility evaluations were performed based on four cases with different combinations of factors('cases').In the analysis,465(70%)landslide locations were randomly selected for model training, and 200(30%)landslide locations were selected for verification. The results showed that case 3 produced the best performance for the statistical models and that case 2 produced the best performance for the RF model. Finally, the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to verify the accuracy of each model's results for its respective optimal case. The ROC curve analysis showed that the machine learning model performed better than the other three models, and among the three statistical models, the IOE model with weight coefficients was superior. | Ting Xiao Kunlong Yin Tianlu Yao Shuhao Liu | 2019 | Acta Geochimica2019,38,5: | 8
Discrete Element Analysis of Huangtupo Landslide显示文摘On the basis of the deep geology and the geological structure of Huangtupo landslide, an ancient landslide in the reservoir of the Three Gorges, the geo-environmental model of the landslide is established to analyze quantitatively the sliding mechanism by using the discrete element method. It is concluded that interbedding structure of soft and hard formation consists of the main geological background, which induced the arching of the formation under gravity. Stability analysis of different loadings shows that the ground building weight on the middle slope may restrain the extension of shear sliding zone below , but may activate the foot area which will reduce the safety factor of the front. | An Guanfeng Yin Kunlong Tang HuimingEngineering Faculty , China University of Geosciences , Wuhan 430074 | 2002 | Journal of China University of Geosciences2002,13,1: | 6
Thiol-stabilized atomically precise, superatomic silver nanoparticles for catalysing cycloisomerization of alkynyl amines显示文摘Both the electronic and surface structures of metal nanomaterials play critical roles in determining their chemical properties. However, the non-molecular nature of conventional nanoparticles makes it extremely challenging to understand the molecular mechanism behind many of their unique electronic and surface properties. In this work, we report the synthesis, molecular and electronic structures of an atomically precise nanoparticle, [Ag206 L72]~q(L = thiolate, halide; q = charge). With a four-shell Ag7@Ag32@Ag77@Ag90 Ino-decahedral structure having a nearly perfect D_(5h) symmetry, the metal core of the nanoparticle is co-stabilized by 68 thiolate and 4 halide ligands. Both electrochemistry and plasmonic absorption reveal the metallic nature of the nanoparticles, which is explained by density functional theory calculations.Electronically, the nanoparticle can be considered as a superatom, just short of a major electron shell closing of 138 electrons(q = –4). More importantly, many of ligands capping on the nanoparticle are labile due to their low-coordination modes, leading to high surface reactivity for catalysing the synthesis of indoles from 2-ethynylaniline derivatives. The results exemplify the power of the atomic-precision nanocluster approach to catalysis in probing reaction mechanisms and in revealing the interplay of heterogeneous reactivities, electronic and surface structural dynamics, thereby providing ways for optimization. | Juanzhu Yan Jun Zhang Xumao Chen Sami Malola Bo Zhou Elli Selenius Xiaomin Zhang Peng Yuan Guocheng Deng Kunlong Liu Haifeng Su Boon K.Teo Hannu Hakkinen Lansun Zheng Nanfeng Zheng | 2018 | National Science Review2018,5,5: | 3
Tunable flexible artificial synapses:a new path toward a wearable electronic system显示文摘The flexible electronics has been deemed to be a promising approach to the wearable electronic systems. However, the mismatching between the existing flexible deices and the conventional computing paradigm results an impasse in this field. In this work,a new way to access to this goal is proposed by combining flexible devices and the neuromorphic architecture together. To achieve that,a high-performance flexible artificial synapse is created based on a carefully designed and optimized memristive transistor. The device exhibits high-performance which has near-linear non-volatile resistance change under 10,000 identical pulse signals within the 515%dynamic range, and has the energy consumption as low as 45 fJ per pulse. It also displays multiple synaptic plasticity features, which demonstrates its potential for real-time online learning.Besides, the adaptability by virtue of its threeterminal structure specifically contributes its improved uniformity, repeatability, and reduced power consumption. This work offers a very viable solution for the future wearable computing. | Kunlong Yang Sijian Yuan Yuxiang Huan Jiao Wang Li Tu Jiawei Xu Zhuo Zou Yiqiang Zhan Lirong Zheng Fernando Seoane | 2018 | npj Flexible Electronics2018,2,1: | 1

Ensemble learning framework for landslide susceptibility mapping:Different basic classifier and ensemble strategy显示文摘The application of ensemble learning models has been continuously improved in recent landslide susceptibility research, but most studies have no unified ensemble framework. Moreover, few papers have discussed the applicability of the ensemble learning model in landslide susceptibility mapping at the township level. This study aims at defining a robust ensemble framework that can become the benchmark method for future research dealing with the comparison of different ensemble models. For this purpose, the present work focuses on three different basic classifiers:decision tree(DT),support vector machine(SVM),and multi-layer perceptron neural network model(MLPNN)and two homogeneous ensemble models such as random forest(RF)and extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost). The hierarchical construction of deep ensemble relied on two leading ensemble technologies(i.e.,homogeneous/heterogeneous model ensemble and bagging, boosting, stacking ensemble strategy)to provide a more accurate and effective spatial probability of landslide occurrence. The selected study area is Dazhou town, located in the Jurassic red-strata area in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area of China, which is a strategic economic area currently characterized by widespread landslide risk.Based on a long-term field investigation, the inventory counting thirty-three slow-moving landslide polygons was drawn. The results show that the ensemble models do not necessarily perform better;for instance, the Bagging based DT-SVM-MLPNNXGBoost model performed worse than the single XGBoost model.Amongst the eleven tested models, the Stacking based RF-XGBoost model, which is a homogeneous model based on bagging, boosting, and stacking ensemble, showed the highest capability of predicting the landslide-affected areas.Besides, the factor behaviors of DT,SVM,MLPNN,RF and XGBoost models reflected the characteristics of slow-moving landslides in the Three Gorges reservoir area, wherein unfavorable lithological conditions and intense human engineering activities(i.e.,reservoir water level fluctuation, residential area construction, and farmland development)are proven to be the key triggers. The presented approach could be used for landslide spatial occurrence prediction in similar regions and other fields. | Taorui Zeng Liyang Wu Dario Peduto Thomas Glade Yuichi S.Hayakawa Kunlong Yin | 2023 | Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,6: | 1

Changes in the epigenome and transcriptome of rice in response to Magnaporthe oryzae infection显示文摘DNA methylation participates in regulating the expression of coding and non-coding regions in plants. To investigate the association between DNA methylation and pathogen infection, we used whole-genome bisulfite sequencing to survey temporal DNA methylation changes in rice after infection with the rice blast fungus Magnaporthe oryzae. In contrast to previous findings in Arabidopsis, global DNA methylation levels in rice increased slightly after rice blast infection. We identified over 38,000 differentially methylated regions(DMRs), and hypermethylated DMRs far outnumbered hypomethylated DMRs. Most DMRs were located in transposable element regions. Using transcriptome analysis, we identified 8830 differentially expressed genes(DEGs) after 1, 3, and 5 days of infection. Over one-third of DEGs, most of which were CHH-type DMRs, were associated with DMRs. Functional analysis of the CHH DMR-DEGs indicated their involvement in many important biological processes, including cell communication and response to external stimulus. The transcription of many NBS-LRR family genes was affected by changes in DNA methylation, suggesting that DNA methylation plays essential roles in the response of rice to M. oryzae infection. More broadly, the DNA methylation analysis presented here sheds light on epigenomic involvement in plant defense against fungal pathogens. | Na Cui Xiaofeng Chen Yan Shi Meirong Chi Jiantuan Hu Kunlong Lai Zonghua Wang Haifeng Wang | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,4: | 1

Preparation and 3D printing of high-thermal-conductivity continuous mesophase-pitch-based carbon fiber/epoxy composites显示文摘To meet the requirements of spacecraft for the thermal conductivity of resins and solve the problem of low thermal conduction efficiency when 3D printing complex parts,we propose a new type of continuous mesophase-pitch-based carbon fiber/thermoplastic polyurethane/epoxy(CMPCF/TPU/epoxy)composite filament and its preparation process in this study. The composite filament is based on the high thermal conductivity of CMPCF,the high elasticity of TPU,and the high-temperature resistance of epoxy. The tensile strength and thermal conductivity of the CMPCF/TPU/epoxy composite filament were tested. The CMPCF/TPU/epoxy composites are formed by 3D printing technology, and the composite filament is laid according to the direction of heat conduction so that the printed part can meet the needs of directional heat conduction. The experimental results show that the thermal conductivity of the printed sample is 40.549 W/(m·K),which is 160 times that of pure epoxy resin(0.254 W/(m·K)).It is also approximately 13 times better than that of polyacrylonitrile carbon fiber/epoxy(PAN-CF/epoxy)composites.This study breaks through the technical bottleneck of poor printability of CMPCF.It provides a new method for achieving directional thermal conductivity printing, which is important for the development of complex high-performance thermal conductivity products. | Haiguang ZHANG Kunlong ZHAO Qingxi HU Jinhe WANG | 2023 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science A(Applied Physics & Engineering)2023,24,2: | 1
Shallow landslide susceptibility assessment under future climate and land cover changes: A case study from southwest China显示文摘There is no doubt that land cover and climate changes have consequences on landslide activity, but it is still an open issue to assess and quantify their impacts.Wanzhou County in southwest China was selected as the test area to study rainfall-induced shallow landslide susceptibility under the future changes of land use and land cover(LULC)and climate. We used a high-resolution meteorological precipitation dataset and frequency distribution model to analyse the present extreme and antecedent rainfall conditions related to landslide activity. The future climate change factors were obtained from a 4-member multimodel ensemble that was derived from statistically downscaled regional climate simulations. The future LULC maps were simulated by the land change modeller(LCM)integrated into IDRISI Selva software.A total of six scenarios were defined by considering the rainfall(antecedent conditions and extreme events)and LULC changes towards two time periods(mid and late XXI century).A physically-based model was used to assess landslide susceptibility under these different scenarios. The results showed that the magnitude of both antecedent effective recharge and event rainfall in the region will evidently increase in the future.Under the scenario with a return period of 100 years, the antecedent rainfall in summer will increase by up to 63%whereas the event rainfall will increase by up to 54%for the late 21st century. The most considerable changes of LULC will be the increase of forest cover and the decrease of farming land. The magnitude of this change can reach+22.1%(forest)and–9.2%(farmland)from 2010 until 2100,respectively.We found that the negative impact of climate change on landslide susceptibility is greater than the stabilizing effect of LULC change, leading to an over decrease in stability over the study area. This is one of the first studies across Asia to assess and quantify changes of regional landslide susceptibility under scenarios driven by LULC and climate change. Our results aim to guide land use planning and climate change mitigation considerations to reduce landslide risk. | Zizheng Guo Joaquin Vicente Ferrer Marcel Hürlimann Vicente Medina Carol Puig-Polo Kunlong Yin Da Huang | 2023 | Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,4: | 1
