| 1 | Fintech investments in European banks:a hybrid IT2 fuzzy multidimensional decision‑making approach显示文摘Financial technology(Fintech)makes a significant contribution to the financial system by reducing costs,providing higher quality services and increasing customer satisfaction.Hence,new studies play an essential role to improve Fintech investments.This study evaluates Fintech-based investments of European banking services with an application of an original methodology that considers interval type-2(IT2)fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory and IT2 fuzzy TOPSIS models.Empirical findings are controlled for consistency by applying the VIKOR method.Moreover,we conduct a sensitivity analysis by considering six distinct cases.This study contributes to the existing literature by identifying the most important Fintech-based investment alternatives to improve the financial performance of European banks.Our empirical findings illustrate that results are coherent,reliable,and identify“competitive advantage”as the most important factor among Fintech-based determinants.Moreover,“payment and money transferring systems”are the most important Fintech-based investment alternatives.It is recommended that,among Fintech-based investments,European banks should mainly focus on payment and money transferring alternatives to attract the attention of customers and satisfy their expectations.This is also believed to have a positive impact on the ease of bank’receivable collection.Another important point is that Fintech-based investments in money transferring systems could help to decrease costs. | Gang Kou Ozlem Olgu Akdeniz Hasan Dincer Serhat Yuksel | 2021 | Financial Innovation2021,7,1: | 38 |
| 2 | The second natural gas hydrate production test in the South China Sea显示文摘Clayey silt reservoirs bearing natural gas hydrates(NGH)are considered to be the hydrate-bearing reservoirs that boast the highest reserves but tend to be the most difficult to exploit.They are proved to be exploitable by the first NGH production test conducted in the South China Sea in 2017.Based on the understanding of the first production test,the China Geological Survey determined the optimal target NGH reservoirs for production test and conducted a detailed assessment,numerical and experimental simulation,and onshore testing of the reservoirs.After that,it conducted the second offshore NGH production test in 1225 m deep Shenhu Area,South China Sea(also referred to as the second production test)from October 2019 to April 2020.During the second production test,a series of technical challenges of drilling horizontal wells in shallow soft strata in deep sea were met,including wellhead stability,directional drilling of a horizontal well,reservoir stimulation and sand control,and accurate depressurization.As a result,30 days of continuous gas production was achieved,with a cumulative gas production of 86.14×104 m3.Thus,the average daily gas production is 2.87×10^4 m^3,which is 5.57 times as much as that obtained in the first production test.Therefore,both the cumulative gas production and the daily gas production were highly improved compared to the first production test.As indicated by the monitoring results of the second production test,there was no anomaly in methane content in the seafloor,seawater,and atmosphere throughout the whole production test.This successful production test further indicates that safe and effective NGH exploitation is feasible in clayey silt NGH reservoirs.The industrialization of hydrates consists of five stages in general,namely theoretical research and simulation experiments,exploratory production test,experimental production test,productive production test,and commercial production.The second production test serves as an important step from the exploratory production test to experimental production test. | Jian-liang Ye Xu-wen Qin Wen-wei Xie Hai-long Lu Bao-jin Ma Hai-jun Qiu Jin-qiang Liang Jing-an Lu Zeng-gui Kuang Cheng Lu Qian-yong Liang Shi-peng Wei Yan-jiang Yu Chunsheng Liu Bin Li Kai-xiang Shen Hao-xian Shi Qiu-ping Lu Jing Li Bei-bei Kou Gang Song Bo Li He-en Zhang Hong-feng Lu Chao Ma Yi-fei Dong Hang Bian | 2020 | China Geology2020,3,2: | 22 |

| 5 | Using the spike protein feature to predict infection risk and monitor the evolutionary dynamic of coronavirus显示文摘Background:Coronavirus can cross the species barrier and infect humans with a severe respiratory syndrome.SARS-CoV-2 with potential origin of bat is still circulating in China.In this study,a prediction model is proposed to evaluate the infection risk of non-human-origin coronavirus for early warning.Methods:The spike protein sequences of 2666 coronaviruses were collected from 2019 Novel Coronavirus Resource(2019nCoVR)Database of China National Genomics Data Center on Jan 29,2020.A total of 507 human-origin viruses were regarded as positive samples,whereas 2159 non-human-origin viruses were regarded as negative.To capture the key information of the spike protein,three feature encoding algorithms(amino acid composition,AAC;parallel correlation-based pseudo-amino-acid composition,PC-PseAAC and G-gap dipeptide composition,GGAP)were used to train 41 random forest models.The optimal feature with the best performance was identified by the multidimensional scaling method,which was used to explore the pattern of human coronavirus.Results:The 10-fold cross-validation results showed that well performance was achieved with the use of the GGAP(g=3)feature.The predictive model achieved the maximum ACC of 98.18%coupled with the Matthews correlation coefficient(MCC)of 0.9638.Seven clusters for human coronaviruses(229E,NL63,OC43,HKU1,MERS-CoV,SARS-CoV,and SARS-CoV-2)were found.The cluster for SARS-CoV-2 was very close to that for SARS-CoV,which suggests that both of viruses have the same human receptor(angiotensin converting enzyme II).The big gap in the distance curve suggests that the origin of SARS-CoV-2 is not clear and further surveillance in the field should be made continuously.The smooth distance curve for SARS-CoV suggests that its close relatives still exist in nature and public health is challenged as usual.Conclusions:The optimal feature(GGAP,g=3)performed well in terms of predicting infection risk and could be used to explore the evolutionary dynamic in a simple,fast and large-scale manner.The study may be beneficial for the surveillance of the genome mutation of coronavirus in the field. | Xiao-Li Qiang Peng Xu Gang Fang Wen-Bin Liu Zheng Kou | 2020 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2020,9,2: | 6 |

| 8 | Development and validation of a UPLC–MS/MS assay for the determination of gemcitabine and its L-carnitine ester derivative in rat plasma and its application in oral pharmacokinetics显示文摘A simple and rapid UPLC–MS/MS method to simultaneously determine gemcitabine and its L-carnitine ester derivative(2’-deoxy-2’, 2’-difluoro-N-((4-amino-4-oxobutanoyl) oxy)-4-(trimethyl amm-onio) butanoate-cytidine, JDR) in rat plasma was developed and validated.The conventional plasma sample preparation method of nucleoside analogues is solidphase extraction(SPE) which is time-consuming and cost-expensive. In this study, gradient elution with small particles size solid phase was applied to effectively separate gemcitabine and JDR, and protein precipitation pretreatment was adopted to remove plasma protein and extract the analytes with high recovery(>81%). Method validation was performed as per the FDA guidelines, and the standard curves were found to be linear in the range of 5–4000 ng/ml for JDR and 4–4000 ng/ml for gemcitabine, respectively. The lower limit of quantitation(LLOQ)of gemcitabine and JDR was 4 and 5 ng/ml, respectively. The intra-day and inter-day precision and accuracy results were within the acceptable limits.
