1Baicalin induces ferroptosis in bladder cancer cells by downregulating FTH1显示文摘Ferroptosis is a non-apoptotic regulated cell death caused by iron accumulation and subsequent lipid peroxidation.Currently,the therapeutic role of ferroptosis on cancer is gaining increasing interest.Baicalin an active component in Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi with anticancer potential various cancer types;however,the effects of baicalein on bladder cancer and the underlying molecular mechanisms remain largely unknown.In the study,we investigated the effect of baicalin on bladder cancer cells5637 and KU-19-19.As a result,we show baicalin exerted its anticancer activity by inducing apoptosis and cell death in bladder cancer cells.Subsequently,we for the first time demonstrate baicalin-induced ferroptotic cell death in vitro and in vivo,accompanied by reactive oxygen species(ROS) accumulation and intracellular chelate iron enrichment.The ferroptosis inhibitor deferoxamine but not necrostatin-1,chloroquine(CQ),N-acetyl-L-cysteine,L-glutathione reduced,or carbobenzoxy-valyl-alanyl-aspartyl-[O-methyl]-fluoromethylketone(Z-VAD-FMK) rescued baicalin-induced cell death,indicating ferroptosis contributed to baicalin-induced cell death.Mechanistically,we show that ferritin heavy chain1(FTH1) was a key determinant for baicalin-induced ferroptosis.Overexpression of FTH1 abrogated the anticancer effects of baicalin in both 5637 and KU19-19 cells.Taken together,our data for the first time suggest that the natural product baicalin exerts its anticancer activity by inducing FTH1-dependent ferroptosis,which will hopefully provide a prospective compound for bladder cancer treatment.Na Kong Xiaying Chen Jiao Feng Ting Duan Shuiping Liu Xueni Sun Peng Chen Ting Pan Lili Yan Ting Jin Yu Xiang Quan Gao Chengyong Wen Weirui Ma Wencheng Liu Mingming Zhang Zuyi Yang Wengang Wang Ruonan Zhang Bi Chen Tian Xie Xinbing Sui Wei Tao 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,12:23

4Expediting redox kinetics of sulfur species by atomic-scale electrocatalysts in lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries have extremely high theoretical energy density that make them as promising systems toward vast practical applications.Expediting redox kinetics of sulfur species is a decisive task to break the kinetic limitation of insulating lithium sulfide/disulfide precipitation/dissolution.Herein,we proposed a porphyrinderived atomic electrocatalyst to exert atomic-efficient electrocatalytic effects on polysulfide intermediates.Quantifying electrocatalytic efficiency of liquid/solid conversion through a potentiostatic intermittent titration technique measurement presents a kinetic understanding of specific phase evolutions imparted by the atomic electrocatalyst.Benefiting from atomically dispersed“lithiophilic”and“sulfiphilic”sites on conductive substrates,the finely designed atomic electrocatalyst endows Li–S cells with remarkable cycling stablity(cyclic decay rate of 0.10%in 300 cycles),excellent rate capability(1035 mAh g−1 at 2 C),and impressive areal capacity(10.9 mAh cm−2 at a sulfur loading of 11.3 mg cm−2).The present work expands atomic electrocatalysts to the Li–S chemistry,deepens kinetic understanding of sulfur species evolution,and encourages application of emerging electrocatalysis in other multielectron/multiphase reaction energy systems.Bo-Quan Li Long Kong Chang-Xin Zhao Qi Jin Xiao Chen Hong-Jie Peng Jin-Lei Qin Jin-Xiu Chen Hong Yuan Qiang Zhang Jia-Qi Huang 2019InfoMat2019,1,4:18

6HBx activates FasL and mediates HepG2 cell apoptosis through MLK3-MKK7-JNKs signal module显示文摘AIM:To investigate the possible mechanism by which hepatitis B virus X protein(HBx)mediates apoptosis of HepG2 cells.METHODS:HBx expression vector pcDNA3.1-X was transfected into HepG2 cells to establish an HBx highexpression cellular model as pcDNA3.1-X transfected group.The pcDNA3.1-X and pSilencer3.1-shHBX(HBx antagonist)were cotransfected into HepG2 cells to establish an HBx low-expression model as RNAi group.Untransfected HepG2 cells and HepG2 cells transfected with negative control plasmid were used as controls.Apoptosis rate,the expression of Fas/FasL signaling pathway-related proteins and the phosphorylation levels of MLK3,MKK7 and JNKs,which are upstream molecules of death receptor pathways and belong to the family of mitogen-activated protein kinases(MAPKs),were measured in each group.RESULTS:Compared with HepG2 cell group and RNAi group,apoptosis rate,the expression of Fas and FasL proteins,and the activation of MLK3,MKK7 and JNKs were increased in the pcDNA3.1-X transfected group.The activation of JNKs and expression of FasL protein were inhibited in the pcDNA3.1-X transfected group when treated with a known JNK inhibitor,SP600125.When authors treated pcDNA3.1-X transfected group with K252a,a known MLK3 inhibitor,the activation of MLK3,MKK7 and JNKs as well as expression of FasL protein was inhibited.Furthermore,cell apoptosis rate was also significantly declined in the presence of K252a in the pcDNA3.1-X transfected group.CONCLUSION:HBx can induce HepG2 cell apoptosis via a novel active MLK3-MKK7-JNKs signaling module to upregulate FasL protein expression.Ren-Xian Tang Fan-Yun Kong Bao-Feng Fan Xiao-Mei Liu Hong-Juan You Peng Zhang Kui-Yang Zheng 2012World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,13:14

8Single-cell transcriptome analysis of the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) associated gene ACE2 expression in normal and non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) human male testes显示文摘Being infected by SARS-CoV-2 may cause damage to multiple organs in patients, such as the lung, liver and heart. Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2), reported as a SARS-CoV-2 receptor, is also expressed in human male testes. This suggests a potential risk in human male reproductive system. However, the characteristics of ACE2-positive cells and the expression of other SARS-CoV-2 process-related genes are still worthy of further investigation. Here, we performed singlecell RNA seq(scRNA-seq) analysis on 853 male embryo primordial germ cells(PGCs) and 2,854 normal testis cells to assess the effects of the SARS-CoV-2 virus on the male reproductive system from embryonic stage to adulthood. We also collected and constructed the scRNA-seq library on 228 Sertoli cells from three non-obstructive azoospermia(NOA) patients to assess the effects at disease state. We found that ACE2 expressing cells existed in almost all testis cell types and Sertoli cells had highest expression level and positive cells ratio. Moreover, ACE2 was also expressed in human male PGCs. In adulthood, the level of ACE2 expression decreased with the increase of age. We also found that ACE2 positive cells had high expressions of stress response and immune activation-related genes. Interestingly, some potential SARS-CoV-2 process-related genes such as TMPRSS2, BSG, CTSL and CTSB had different expression patterns in the same cell type. Furthermore, ACE2 expression level in NOA donors’ Sertoli cells was significantly decreased. 10Comparative analysis of astaxanthin and its esters in the mutant E1 of Haematococcus pluvialis and other green algae by HPLC with a C30 column显示文摘A gradient reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method using a C30 col-umn was developed for the simultaneous determination of astaxanthin, astaxanthin monoesters and astaxanthin diesters in the green algae Chlorococcum sp., Chlorella zofingiensis, Haematococcus plu-vialis and the mutant E1, which was obtained from the mutagenesis of H. pluvialis by exposure to UV-irradiation and ethyl methanesulphonate (EMS) with subsequent screening using nicotine. The re-sults showed that the contents of total astaxanthins including free astaxanthin and astaxanthin esters ranged from 1.4 to 30.9 mg/g dry biomass in these green algae. The lower total astaxanthin levels (< 2 mg/g dry biomass) were detected in the green algae Chlorococcum sp. and C. zofingiensis. The higher total astaxanthin levels (>16 mg/g dry biomass) were found in the green alga H. pluvialis and its mutant E1. It is notable that the mutant E1 is found to have considerably higher amounts of total astaxanthin (30.9 mg/g) as compared to the wild strain of H. pluvialis (16.1 mg/g). This indicates that UV-irradiation and EMS compound mutagenesis with subsequent screening using nicotine is an effective method for breeding of a high-producing astaxanthin strain of H. pluvialis. In addition, the green alga C. zofingien-sis had a remarkably higher percentage of astaxanthin diesters (76.3% of total astaxanthins) and a re-markably lower percentage of astaxanthin monoesters (18.0% of total astaxanthins) in comparison with H. pluvialis (35.5% for diesters and 60.9% for monoesters), the mutant E1 (49.1% and 48.1%) and Chlorococcum sp. 12Initial virtual flight test for a dynamically similar aircraft model with control augmentation system显示文摘To satisfy the validation requirements of flight control law for advanced aircraft,a wind tunnel based virtual flight testing has been implemented in a low speed wind tunnel.A 3-degree-offreedom gimbal,ventrally installed in the model,was used in conjunction with an actively controlled dynamically similar model of aircraft,which was equipped with the inertial measurement unit,attitude and heading reference system,embedded computer and servo-actuators.The model,which could be rotated around its center of gravity freely by the aerodynamic moments,together with the flow field,operator and real time control system made up the closed-loop testing circuit.The model is statically unstable in longitudinal direction,and it can fly stably in wind tunnel with the function of control augmentation of the flight control laws.The experimental results indicate that the model responds well to the operator's instructions.The response of the model in the tests shows reasonable agreement with the simulation results.The difference of response of angle of attack is less than 0.5°.The effect of stability augmentation and attitude control law was validated in the test,meanwhile the feasibility of virtual flight test technique treated as preliminary evaluation tool for advanced flight vehicle configuration research was also verified.Guo Linliang Zhu Minghong Nie Bowen Kong Peng Zhong Chengwen 2017Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,2:12
13Phylogenetic diversity and specificity of bacteria associated with Microcystis aeruginosa and other cyanobacteria显示文摘Interactions between bacteria and cyanobacteria have been suggested to have a potential to influence harmful algal bloom dynamics; however, little information on these interactions has been reported. In this study, the bacterial communities associated with five strains of Microcystis aeruginosa, three species of other Microcystis spp., and four representative species of non-Microcystis cyanobacteria were compared. Bacterial 16S rDNA fragments were amplified and separated by denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) followed by DNA sequence analysis. The similarities among bacterial communities associated with these cyanobacteria were compared to the digitized DGGE profiles using the cluster analyses. The bacterial community structure of all cyanobacterial cultures differed. Cluster analysis showed that the similarity values among M. aeruginosa cultures were higher than those of other cyanobacterial cultures. Sequence analysis of DGGE fragments indicated the presence of bacteria including, Alphaproteobacteria, Betaproteobacteria, Gammaproteobacteria, Bacteroidetes and Actinobacteria in the cyanobacterial cultures. Members of the Sphingomonadales were the prevalent group among the Microcystis-associated bacteria. 14Two soybean bHLH factors regulate response to iron deficiency显示文摘Iron is an indispensable micronutrient for plant growth and development. Limited bioavailability of Fe in the soil leads to iron deficiency chlorosis in plants and yield loss. In this study, two soybean basic helix-loophelix transcription factors, Gmb HLH57 and Gmb HLH300,were identified in response to Fe-deficiency. Both transcription factors are expressed in roots and nodules,and are induced by Fe deficiency; these patterns were confirmed in transgenic hairy roots expressing constructs of the endogenous promoters fused to a GUS reporter gene. Bimolecular fluorescence complementation, yeast two-hybrid and coimmunoprecipitation(co-IP) assays indicated a physical interaction between Gmb HLH57 and Gmb HLH300. 15New data regarding acritarch biostratigraphy from the Early-Middle Cambrian Kaili Formation in Chuandong,Guizhou Province,China显示文摘Previous studies had evaluated acritarchs from the Balang and Pingzhai sections of the Early-Middle Cambrian Kaili Formation in east Guizhou,China.The results of these studies suggest that the acritarchs in these sections have potential biostratigraphic significance.More recently,34 samples collected from 83 m lower part of the Lower-Middle Cambrian Kaili Formation in the Jianshan section of Chuandong,Guizhou Province were prepared for palynological analysis.Analysis of these samples revealed a distinct change in the acritarch assemblages at the bed,which was approximately 46 m above the bottom of the Kaili Formation.These findings suggest a boundary represented by an important alteration of the ecological environment.In addition,the position of the acritarch biostratigraphic change is somewhat higher than the boundary between Cambrian Series 2 and Series 3 based on trilobites found in the same section.This indicates that the distinct change in acritarch assemblages is similar to the change in trilobite assemblages that occurs around the boundary between Cambrian Series 2 and Series 3.Therefore,acritarch biostratigraphy can provide data that can be used to define the base of Cambrian Series 3 in this region,and possibly worldwide.Leiming Yin Ruidong Yang Jin Peng Fanfan Kong 2009Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2009,19,1:9
16Effects of Accelerated Aging on Physiological and Biochemical Characteristics of Waxy and Non-waxy Wheat Seeds显示文摘Experiments were conducted to evaluate the physiological and the biochemical characteristics of waxy wheat seeds under accelerated aging conditions. Five waxy wheat lines, which were Waxy 1, Waxy 4, Waxy 8, Waxy 9, and Waxy 15; and five non-waxy wheat lines: S-39, 04J89, Jan-81, Ⅲ42-4, and Ⅲ10 were studied. The seeds were subjected to accelerated aging at 40℃, 45℃, 50℃, 55℃, and 60℃, and 90% relative humidity for 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 days, respectively. The results showed a gradual increase in conductivity and decrease in germination rate during accelerated aging. SOD, POD and CAT activities increased at low-grade treatment, but decreased at severe treatment. On the other hand, the soluble protein content decreased at 45℃, but successively increased, then decreased 50℃. 17Neurons-system-like structured SnS_(2)/CNTs composite for high-performance sodium-ion battery anode显示文摘Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have attracted significant attention with respect to renewable energy power generation systems because of the abundant reserves of sodium on earth.However,anode materials are presently limited by low energy density,poor rate performance and inferior cycling stability.In recent years,tin disulfide(SnS_(2))with a particular layered structure has been considered as a promising anode material for SIBs due to its high theoretical capacity and low cost.Herein,a nervoussystem-like structured SnS_(2)/CNTs composite was successfully synthesized via a hydrothermal method.The SnS_(2)sheets were strung with carbon nanotubes(CNTs)to form a hierarchical porous structure,which is effective for electrolyte diffusion and electronic transmission.The large distance of the(001)plane(0.5899 nm)of SnS_(2)favors Na+insertion-extraction dynamics.Benefitting from these structural characteristics,SnS_(2)/CNTs electrodes exhibit high specific capacity,excellent rate performance and superior cycling stability.A high charge capacity of 642 mAh·g^(-1)was released at 0.2 A·g^(-1),and then,a high reversible capacity of 427 mAh·g^(-1)was retained after 100 cycles.Even charged at 2 A·g^(-1),the SnS_(2)/CNTS electrode maintained a capacity of 282 mAh·g^(-1).The nervous-system-like structure of the SnS_(2)/CNTs composite provides a novel strategy for the development of SIBs with high electrochemical performance.Ling Zhu Xue-Xian Yang Yan-Hong Xiang Peng Kong Xian-Wen Wu 2021Rare Metals2021,40,6:9
18砂土地基中摩擦型能量桩群桩热力学特性研究(英文)显示文摘目的:能量桩在工作状态下的热力学响应十分复杂,同时受到桩顶荷载、桩侧摩擦以及温度等多重因素的影响。当群桩中出现部分能量桩不工作时,将造成上部结构的额外应力与变形。因此,本文重点探讨摩擦型能量桩群桩中部分能量桩在加热制冷作用下的热力学响应,并与单桩的热力学效应进行对比分析。创新点:1.通过建立摩擦型能量桩群桩模型试验,探讨桩侧摩擦对能量桩群桩的影响规律;2.利用能量桩群桩与单桩对比,揭示能量桩群桩与单桩热力响应特性的区别;3.揭示部分能量桩加热制冷作用对能量桩群桩的影响机理。方法:1.建立摩擦型能量桩群桩及单桩的模型试验;2.将能量桩群桩与单桩进行对比,研究能量桩群桩与单桩热力响应特性的区别;3.进行能量桩群桩部分加热制冷试验。结论:1.对于长期工作的能量群桩,可以将其视为一个长宽高与整个群桩相同的热交换体,其表面温度与群桩的平均表面温度一致。2.能量桩单桩在加热过程中,由于桩底受到的限制较大,所以桩顶位移大于桩底位移。3.能量桩单桩在制冷过程中,由于土体及桩体收缩,会出现明显的下沉。4.能量桩群桩桩帽在加热过程中,桩帽的位移与群桩的上半部分长度相关;在本文的试验中,由于群桩上半部分受土的限制较小,因此其位移与桩自由膨胀的位移一样。5.能量桩群桩在制冷期间,群桩的下沉量级要比单桩的大。6.在制冷过程中,能量桩群桩在群桩效应作用下,内部桩的桩底热位移较大。7.能量桩群桩在部分加热的情况下,会出现不均匀沉降,且在加热期间,沉降主要受到不工作桩的牵制影响;而在制冷期间,沉降主要受工作桩的下沉影响。8.摩擦型能量桩的热引起的桩身轴力是与桩侧的土压力大小相关的;由于群桩在群桩效应作用下,桩侧土压力要小于单桩,因此群桩的热引起的桩身轴力要大于单桩。Huai-feng PENG Gang-qiang KONG Han-long LIU Hossam ABUEL-NAGA Yao-hu HAO 2018Journal of Zhejiang University-Science A(Applied Physics & Engineering)2018,19,8:9
19Multi-sensor measurement and data fusion technology for manufacturing process monitoring:a literature review显示文摘Due to the rapid development of precision manufacturing technology,much research has been conducted in the field of multisensor measurement and data fusion technology with a goal of enhancing monitoring capabilities in terms of measurement accuracy and information richness,thereby improving the efficiency and precision of manufacturing.In a multisensor system,each sensor independently measures certain parameters.Then,the system uses a relevant signalprocessing algorithm to combine all of the independent measurements into a comprehensive set of measurement results.The purpose of this paper is to describe multisensor measurement and data fusion technology and its applications in precision monitoring systems.The architecture of multisensor measurement systems is reviewed,and some implementations in manufacturing systems are presented.In addition to the multisensor measurement system,related data fusion methods and algorithms are summarized.Further perspectives on multisensor monitoring and data fusion technology are included at the end of this paper.Lingbao Kong Xing Peng Yao Chen Ping Wang Min Xu 2020International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2020,2,2:8
20A new pathotype characterization of Daxing and Huangyuan populations of cereal cyst nematode(Heterodera avenae) in China显示文摘The cereal cyst nematode(CCN, Heteroder aavenae) causes serious yield loss on cereal crops, especially wheat, worldwide. Daxing population in Beijing City and Huangyuan population in Qinghai Province, China, are two CCN populations. In this study, the CCN pathotypes of Daxing and Huangyuan populations were characterized by tests on 23 standard 'International Test Assortment' with the local species Wenmai 19 as the susceptible control. Tested materials were grouped by three nematode populations' virulence on resistant genes(Rha1, Rha2, Rha3, Cre1) and nonresistant genes, varieties and lines. Both Daxing and Huangyuan populations were avirulent to Ortolan(Ha1). Barley cvs. Ortolan, Siri, Morocco, Bajo Aragon 1-1, and Martin 403-2 were all resistant to both populations. Cultivars Herta, Harlan 43 and wheat Iskamish-K-2-light were all susceptible to Huangyuan population, all of them, however, were resistant to Daxing population. The other five oats were all resistant to the two tested CCN populations. Except Iskamisch K-2-light, all the other wheat cultivars(Capa, Loros×Koga, AUS 10894, and Psathias) were susceptible to Daxing population.
