| 1 | A putative bHLH transcription factor is a candidate gene for male sterile 32,a locus affecting pollen and tapetum development in tomato显示文摘The tomato(Solanum lycopersicum)male sterile 32(ms32)mutant has been used in hybrid seed breeding programs largely because it produces no pollen and has exserted stigmas.In this study,histological examination of anthers revealed dysfunctional pollen and tapetum development in the ms32 mutant.The ms32 locus was fine mapped to a 28.5 kb interval that encoded four putative genes.Solyc01g081100,a homolog of Arabidopsis bHLH10/89/90 and rice EAT1,was proposed to be the candidate gene of MS32 because it contained a single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)that led to the formation of a premature stop codon.A codominant derived cleaved amplified polymorphic sequence(dCAPS)marker,MS32D,was developed based on the SNP.Real-time quantitative reverse-transcription PCR showed that most of the genes,which were proposed to be involved in pollen and tapetum development in tomato,were downregulated in the ms32 mutant.These findings may aid in marker-assisted selection of ms32 in hybrid breeding programs and facilitate studies on the regulatory mechanisms of pollen and tapetum development in tomato. | Xiaoyan Liu Mengxia Yang Xiaolin Liu Kai Wei Xue Cao Xiaotian Wang Xiaoxuan Wang Yanmei Guo Yongchen Du Junming Li Lei Liu Jinshuai Shu Yong Qin Zejun Huang | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 3 |
| 2 | 25 × 50 Gbps wavelength division multiplexing silicon photonics receiver chip based on a silicon nanowire-arrayed waveguide grating显示文摘A high-performance monolithic integrated wavelength division multiplexing silicon(Si) photonics receiver chip is fabricated on a silicon-on-insulator platform. The receiver chip has a 25-channel Si nanowire-arrayed waveguide grating, and each channel is integrated with a high-speed waveguide Ge-on-Si photodetector. The central wavelength, optical insertion loss, and cross talk of the array waveguide grating are 1550.6 nm, 5–8 dB, and-12 –-15 dB, respectively. The photodetectors show low dark current density of 16.9 mA∕cm^2 at-1 V and a high responsivity of 0.82 A/W at 1550 nm. High bandwidths of 23 and 29 GHz are achieved at 0 and-1 V, respectively. | 5 | Survival after radical cystectomy for bladder cancer:Multicenter comparison between minimally invasive and open approaches显示文摘Objective:To investigate oncological outcomes in patients with bladder cancer who underwent minimally invasive radical cystectomy(MIRC)or open radical cystectomy(ORC).Methods:We identified patients with bladder cancer who underwent radical cystectomy(RC)in 13 centers of the Chinese Bladder Cancer Consortium(CBCC).Perioperative outcomes were compared between MIRC and ORC.The influence of surgical approaches on overall survival(OS)and cancer-specific survival(CSS)in the entire study group and subgroups classified according to pathologic stage or lymph node(LN)status was assessed with the log-rank test.Multivariable Cox proportional hazard models were used to evaluate the association among OS,CSS and risk factors of interest.Results:Of 2098 patients who underwent RC,1243 patients underwent MIRC(1087 laparoscopic RC and 156 robotic-assisted RC,respectively),while 855 patients underwent ORC.No significant differences were noted in positive surgical margin rate and 90-day postoperative mortality rate.MIRC was associated with less estimated blood loss,more LN yield,higher rate of neobladder diversion,longer operative time,and longer length of hospital stay.There was no significant difference in OS and CSS according to surgical approaches(pZ0.653,and 0.816,respectively).Subgroup analysis revealed that OS and CSS were not significantly different regardless of the status of extravesical involvement or LN involvement.Multivariable Cox regression analyses showed that the surgical approach was not a significant predictor of OS and CSS.Conclusions:Our study showed that MIRC was comparable to conventional ORC in terms of OS and CSS. | Weibin Xie Junming Bi Qiang Wei Ping Han Dongkui Song Lei Shi Dingwei Ye Yijun Shen Xin Gou Weiyang He Shaogang Wang Zheng Liu Jinhai Fan Kaijie Wu Zhiwen Chen Xiaozhou Zhou Chuize Kong Yang Liu Chunxiao Liu Abai Xu Baiye Jin Guanghou Fu Wei Xue Haige Chen Tiejun Pan Zhong Tu Tianxin Lin Jian Huang | 2020 | Asian Journal of Urology2020,7,3: | 1 |

| 7 | 一种用于淮河上游日径流预测的增强型LSTM模型显示文摘径流预报对防洪具有重要意义。然而,由于径流过程的复杂性和随机性,对日径流量进行准确预测是困难的,尤其是对峰值径流量的预测。为了解决这一问题,本研究提出了一种用于径流预测的增强型长短期记忆(LSTM)模型,其中引入了新的损失函数并集成了特征提取器。设计了峰值误差tanh(peak error tanh,PET)和峰值误差swish(peak error swish,PES)两个损失函数,增强了峰值径流预测的重要性,弱化了正常径流预测的权重。为每个气象站建立由3个LSTM网络组成的特征提取器,目的是提取每个气象站输入数据的时间特征。以中国淮河上游为例,利用增强型LSTM模型对1960—2016年的日径流量进行了预测。结果表明,改进后的LSTM模型表现良好,在验证期内(2005年11月至2016年12月),Nash-Sutcliffe效率(NSE)系数在0.917-0.924之间,优于广泛使用的集总水文模型(Australian Water Balance model(AWBM)、Sacramento、Sim Hyd和Tank模型)和数据驱动模型(人工神经网络(ANN)、支持向量回归(SVR)和门控循环单元(GRU))。以PES为损失函数的增强型LSTM对洪水极端径流的预测效果最好,平均NSE为0.873。此外,海拔较高的气象站降水对径流预测的贡献比最近的气象站更大。该研究为流域日径流预测提供了有效工具,有利于流域防洪和水安全管理。 | Yuanyuan Man Qinli Yang Junming Shao Guoqing Wang Linlong Bai Yunhong Xue | 2023 | Engineering2023,,5: | 0 |
| 8 | Skeletal muscle cell apoptosis following motor nerve injury versus sensory nerve injury显示文摘Skeletal muscle atrophy inevitably occurs in denervated skeletal muscle,and cell apoptosis plays an important role in skeletal muscle atrophy and degeneration.The present study established rat models of simple nerve injury by transecting the ventral or dorsal spinal nerve root and observed rat skeletal muscle cell apoptosis following simple motor nerve injury versus simple sensory nerve injury.Following skeletal muscle denervation for 10 weeks,cell apoptosis was detected in skeletal muscle,which was accompanied by obvious changes in rat behavior and electrophysiological responses.In addition,changes in cross-sectional area and average gray-scale of motor endplates of the gastrocnemius muscle were analyzed following sciatic nerve injury and motor nerve injury.Cell nuclei in denervated skeletal muscle tissue were more densely arranged than in normal skeletal muscle tissue.Cell nuclei were most dense in the sciatic nerve injury group,followed by the motor nerve injury group and the sensory nerve injury group.Fas/FasL expression and the number of apoptotic cells increased in denervated skeletal muscle,and apoptosis-related changes were observed.These findings suggested that motor and sensory nerves provided trophic actions following skeletal muscle and motor nerve injury,resulting in a greater influence on skeletal muscle atrophy than sensory nerve injury.Therefore,reconstruction of motor nerves should be preferentially considered for treating denervation-induced skeletal muscle atrophy. | Zhao, Lei Xu, Ruisheng Jiang, Shenyang Lue, Guangming Yan, Zhiqiang Sun, Junming Wang, Ling Xue, Ye Jiang, Donglin | 2011 | Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,3: | 0 |

| 10 | Revealing component synergy of Ni‒Fe/black phosphorous composites synthesized by self-designed electrochemical method for enhancing photoelectrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Developing high-activity and low-cost catalysts is the key to eliminate the limitation of sluggish anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)during electrocatalytic overall water splitting.Herein,Ni‒Fe/black phosphorous(BP)composites are synthesized using a simple three-electrode system,where exfoliation of bulky BP and synthesis of NiFe composites are simultaneously achieved.Under light illumination,the optimized Ni‒Fe/BP composite exhibits excellent photoelectrocatalytic OER performance(e.g.,the overpotential is 58 mV lower than a commercial RuO_(2) electrocatalyst at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)).The electron transfer on this composite is proved to follow a Ni‒BP‒Fe pathway.The electronic structure of this Ni‒Fe/BP composite is effectively regulated,leading to optimized adsorption strength of the intermediate OH*and improved intrinsic activity for the OER.Together with active sites on the support,this Ni‒Fe/BP composite possesses abundant electrochemical active sites and a bug surface area for the OER.The introduction of light further accelerates the electrocatalytic OER.This work provides a novel and facile method to synthesize high-performance metal/BP composites as well as the approaches to reveal their OER mechanisms. | He Xiao Shoufeng Xue Zimei Fu Man Zhao Li Zhang Junming Zhang Haishun Wu Jianfeng Jia Nianjun Yang | 2023 | Frontiers of Materials Science2023,17,2: | 0 |
