| 1 | Superhydrophobic modification of cellulose and cotton textiles:Methodologies and applications显示文摘Superhydrophobic cellulose-based products have immense potential in many industries where plastics and other polymers with hydrophobic properties are used.Superhydrophobic cellulose-based plastic is inherently biodegradable, renewable and non-toxic.Finding a suitable replace-ment of plastics is highly desired since plastics has become an environmental concern.Despite its inherent hydrophilicity, cellulose has unparalleled advantages as a substrate for the produc-tion of superhydrophobic materials which has been widely used in self-cleaning,self-healing,oil and water separation, electromagnetic interference shielding, etc. This review includes a compre-hensive survey of the progress achieved so far in the production of super-hydrophobic materials based on cellulose and fiber networks. The methodologies and applications of superhydrophobic-modified cellulose and fiber networks are emphasized.Overall, presented herein is targeting on summarizing some of the aspects that are critical to advance this evolving field of science which may provide new ideas for the developing and exploring of superhydrophobic and green-based materials. | David W.Wei Haiying Wei Alec C.Gauthier Junlong Song Yongcan Jin Huining Xiao | 2020 | Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2020,5,1: | 2 |

| 4 | 3D-bioprinted cholangiocarcinoma-on-a-chip model for evaluating drug responses显示文摘Cholangiocarcinoma(CCA)is characterized by heterogeneous mutations and a refractory nature. Thus, the development of a model for effective drug screening is urgently needed. As the established therapeutic testing models for CCA are often ineffective,we fabricated an enabling three-dimensional(3D)-bioprinted CCA-on-a-chip model that to a good extent resembled the multicellular microenvironment and the anatomical microstructure of the hepato-vascular-biliary system to perform high-content antitumor drug screening.Specifically, cholangiocytes, hepatocytes, and vascular endotheliocytes were employed for 3D bioprinting of the models, allowing for a high degree of spatial and tube-like microstructural control.Interestingly,it was possible to observe CCA cells attached to the surfaces of the gelatin methacryloyl(GelMA)hydrogelembedded microchannels and overgrown in a thickening manner, generating bile duct stenosis, which was expected to be analogous to the in vivo configuration.Over 4000 differentially expressed genes were detected in the CCA cells in our 3D coculture model compared to the traditional two-dimensional(2D)monoculture.Further screening revealed that the CCA cells grown in the 3D traditional model were more sensitive to the antitumoral prodrug than those in the 2D monoculture due to drug biotransformation by the neighboring functional hepatocytes. This study provides proof-of-concept validation of our bioprinted CCA-on-a-chip as a promising drug screening model for CCA treatment and paves the way for potential personalized medicine strategies for CCA patients in the future. | Qiong Liu Luis SMille Cesar Villalobos Ingrid Anaya Matthias Vostatek Sili Yi Wanlu Li Junlong Liao Huanghui Wu Yongteng Song Lize Xiong Yu Shrike Zhang | 2023 | Bio-Design and Manufacturing2023,6,4: | 0 |

| 6 | Multi-layer collaborative optimization fusion for semi-supervised learning显示文摘Recently, the Cooperative Training Algorithm(CTA),a well-known Semi-Supervised Learning(SSL)technique, has garnered significant attention in the field of image classification. However, traditional CTA approaches face challenges such as high computational complexity and low classification accuracy. To overcome these limitations,we present a novel approach called Weighted fusion based Cooperative Training Algorithm(W-CTA),which leverages the cooperative training technique and unlabeled data to enhance classification performance. Moreover,we introduce the K-means Cooperative Training Algorithm(km-CTA)to prevent the occurrence of local optima during the training phase. Finally,we conduct various experiments to verify the performance of the proposed methods.Experimental results show that W-CTA and km-CTA are effective and efficient on CIFAR-10 dataset. | Quanbo GE Muhua LIU Jianchao ZHANG Jianqiang SONG Junlong ZHU Mingchuan ZHANG | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,11: | 0 |
| 7 | Cellulose sub-nanometric ribbons:A new generation of nanocellulose and platform for biomaterials显示文摘With the tremendous progress of research in nanoscience, much attention has been paid to the bottom of the“nano world”:scales around one nanometer or even smaller. In order to describe materials at this scale,a new concept called“sub-nanometric material(SNM)”has emerged(Ni and Wang,2016;Ni et al.,2018). | Shaomin Kang Yang Zhao Junlong Song Huining Xiao | 2024 | Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2024,9,1: | 0 |
