Investigation of the Ce-Mn conversion coating on 6063 aluminium alloy显示文摘In this paper, the sustainable Ce-Mn chemical conversion coating was fabricated on 6063 aluminium alloy by means of Ce(NO3)3 and KMnO4 as the inhibitors and NaF as the accelerator. The morphologies, composition and valence state of the coating were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectrometry(EDS) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),respectively. The results indicated that the Ce-Mn conversion coating was formed. The anticorrosion of the coating was evaluated in 3.5 wt.% NaCl aqueous solution at room temperature by using polarization curve and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS).It indicated that the treated surface presented better anticorrosion behavior in chloride media than on the original material surface. The corrosion resistance of Ce-Mn conversion coating was about equal to the trivalent chromium conversion coating. | ZHANG JunJun LI WenFang DU Jun HAN Dong ZHENG XiaoPing | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,29: | 9
Structural shifts in the intestinal microbiota of rats treated with cyclosporine A after orthotropic liver transplantation显示文摘Understanding the effect of immunosuppressive agents on intestinal microbiota is important to reduce the mortality and morbidity from orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT). We investigated the relationship between the commonly used immunosuppressive agent cyclosporine A (CSA) and the intestinal microbial variation in an OLT model. The rat samples were divided as follows:(1) N group (normal control);(2) I group (isograft LT, Brown Norway [BN] rat to BN);(3) R group (allograft LT, Lewis to BN rat);and (4) CSA group (R group treated with CSA). The intestinal microbiota was assayed by denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis profiles and by using real-time polymerase chain reaction. The liver histopathology and the alanine/aspartate aminotransferase ratio after LT were both ameliorated by CSA. In the CSA group, the numbers of rDNA gene copies of Clostridium cluster I, Clostridium cluster XIV, and Enterobacteriaceae decreased, whereas those of Faecalibacterium prausnitzii increased compared with the R group. Cluster analysis indicated that the samples from the N, I, and CSA groups were clustered, whereas the other clusters contained the samples from the R group. Hence, CSA ameliorates hepatic graft injury and partially restores gut microbiota following LT, and these may benefit hepatic graft rejection. | Junjun Jia Xinyao Tian Jianwen Jiang Zhigang Ren Haifeng Lu Ning He Haiyang Xie Lin Zhou Shusen Zheng | 2019 | Frontiers of Medicine2019,13,4: | 5
Single-center Experience in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Hepatic Perivascular Epithelioid Cell Neoplasm显示文摘Background and Aims:Perivascular epithelioid cell neo-plasms(PEComas)are a rare type of mesenchymal neo-plasm and their preoperative diagnosis is challenging. In this study,we summarized the experience from a single medical center to study the examinations, clinical presen-tations,and pathological and histological characteristics of PEComas in the liver in order to optimize overall un-derstanding of the diagnosis and treatment of these neo-plasms.Methods:We conducted a retrospective analysis to investigate the clinical and pathological characteristics as well as imaging presentations of 75 patients diagnosed with hepatic PEComa in The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhe-jiang University between April 2010 and April 2020.Re-sults:Among the 75 patients,52 were women, and the median age was 48 years. Most patients had no specific symptoms, and two were admitted to the hospital for a second time owing to relapse. All patients underwent surgi-cal resection.Histologically,38 patients had classical angio-myolipoma(AML)and 37 had epithelioid AML.The PECo-mas were accompanied by positive immunohistochemical expression of HMB45,Melan-A,and smooth muscle actin.Follow-up data were obtained from 47 of the total 75 pa-tients,through October 2020.Two patients had metastasis after surgery. Conclusions:AML is the most common type of hepatic PEComa. There are no specific symptoms of he-patic PEComa, and serological examinations and imaging modalities for accurate preoperative diagnosis are lacking.Epithelioid AML should be considered a tumor of uncertain malignant potential;however, the prognosis of PEComa af-ter resection is promising. | Junjun Jia Jia Luo Cheng-Gen Pan Guomei Ge Meibao Feng Bei Zou Li Liu Shusen Zheng Jun Yu | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,1: | 5
Analytic estimation and numerical modeling of actively cooled thermal protection systems with nickel alloys显示文摘Actively cooled thermal protection system has great influence on the engine of a hypersonic vehicle, and it is significant to obtain the thermal and stress distribution in the system. So an analytic estimation and numerical modeling are performed in this paper to investigate the behavior of an actively cooled thermal protection system. The analytic estimation is based on the electric analogy method and finite element analysis(FEA) is applied to the numerical simulation. Temperature and stress distributions are obtained for the actively cooled channel walls with three kinds of nickel alloys with or with no thermal barrier coating(TBC). The temperature of the channel wall with coating has no obvious difference from the one with no coating, but the stress with coating on the channel wall is much smaller than that with no coating. Inconel X-750 has the best characteristics among the three Ni-based materials due to its higher thermal conductivity, lower elasticity module and greater allowable stress. Analytic estimation and numerical modeling results are compared with each other and a reasonable agreement is obtained. | Wang Xinzhi He Yurong Zheng Yan Ma Junjun H. | 5 | Integrated histopathological, lipidomic, and metabolomic profiles reveal mink is a useful animal model to mimic the pathogenicity of severe COVID-19 patients显示文摘Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)is transmitted on mink farms between minks and humans in many countries. However, the systemic pathological features of SARS-CoV-2-infected minks are mostly unknown. Here,we demonstrated that minks were largely permissive to SARS-CoV-2,characterized by severe and diffuse alveolar damage, and lasted at least 14 days post inoculation(dpi). We first reported that infected minks displayed multiple organ-system lesions accompanied by an increased inflammatory response and widespread viral distribution in the cardiovascular, hepatobiliary, urinary, endocrine, digestive, and immune systems. The viral protein partially co-localized with activated Mac-2+macrophages throughout the body. Moreover,we first found that the alterations in lipids and metabolites were correlated with the histological lesions in infected minks, especially at 6 dpi,and were similar to that of patients with severe and fatal COVID-19.Particularly,altered metabolic pathways, abnormal digestion, and absorption of vitamins, lipids, cholesterol, steroids, amino acids, and proteins, consistent with hepatic dysfunction, highlight metabolic and immune dysregulation.Enriched kynurenine in infected minks contributed to significant activation of the kynurenine pathway and was related to macrophage activation.Melatonin, which has significant anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating effects, was significantly downregulated at 6 dpi and displayed potential as a targeted medicine. Our data first illustrate systematic analyses of infected minks to recapitulate those observations in severe and fetal COVID-19 patients, delineating a useful animal model to mimic SARS-CoV-2-induced systematic and severe pathophysiological features and provide a reliable tool for the development of effective and targeted treatment strategies, vaccine research, and potential biomarkers. | Zhiqi Song Linlin Bao Wei Deng Jiangning Liu Erjun Ren Qi Lv Mingya Liu Feifei Qi Ting Chen Ran Deng Fengdi Li Yunpeng Liu Qiang Wei Hong Gao Pin Yu Yunlin Han Wenjie Zhao Junjun Zheng Xujian Liang Fuhe Yang Chuan Qin | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,2: | 2
Effect of La_(2)O_(3) addition on the synthesis of tungsten nanopowder via combustion-based method显示文摘In this study, the influences of La_(2)O_(3) added on the phase, morphology and reduction process of tungsten oxide prepared by solution combustion synthesis(SCS) were investigated for the first time. And tungsten nanopowders with different La_(2)O_(3) doping amount(0.5~5.0 wt%) were successfully prepared by SCS and followed hydrogen reduction. The results showed that with the increase of La_(2)O_(3) addition, the product synthesized by SCS changed from needle-like W_(18) O_(49) to irregularly granulated H0.53 WO3 and the complete reduction temperature also increased form 700°C to 850°C. The densification behavior of as-prepared W nanopowders revealed that the densification inhibitory effect of La_(2)O_(3) was enhanced as the La_2O_3 addition increased. Nevertheless, due to the optimal size and distribution of La_(2)O_(3) particles, the sample with 2.0 wt% La_(2)O_(3) addition has a smallest grain size of 0.47 μm and a highest microhardness value of 739.3 Hv0.2, which are the best compared with the literature. | Zheng Chen Mingli Qin Junjun Yang Lin Zhang Baorui Jia Xuanhui Qu | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,58,23: | 2
Fine-tune chiroptical activity in discrete chiral Au nanorods显示文摘Accurate researches on the surface plasmon resonance(SPR)-based applications of chiral plasmonic metal nanoparticles(NPs)still remain a great challenge.Herein,a series of chiral plasmonic metal NPs,e.g.,chiral Au nanorods(c-Au NRs),c-Au@Ag core–shell, and c-Au@TiO_(2) core–shell NRs,with different chiroptical activities have been produced.Plasmonic circular dichroism(PCD)bands of c-Au NRs can be precisely tailored by tuning the longitudinal SPR(LSPR)and amount of Au NRs as seeds.Besides,a shift of PCD bands within ultraviolet–visible–near infrared ray(UV–vis–NIR)region can also be achieved through the functionalization of a shell of another metal or semiconductor.Interestingly, chirality transfer from c-Au core to Ag shell leads to new PCD bands at the near-UV region. The tuning of PCD bands and chirality transfer are confirmed by our developed theoretical model.Developing chiral Au NRs-based chiral plasmonic nanomaterials with tunable chiroptical activities will be helpful to understand the structure-direct PCD and to extend circularly polarized-based applications. | Guangchao Zheng Sulin Jiao Wei Zhang Shenli Wang Qinghua Zhang Lin Gu Weixiang Ye Junjun Li Xiaochen Ren Zhicheng Zhang Kwok-yin Wong | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,7: | 2

Establishment of two-dimensional gel electrophoresis for soybean protein isolate and its application显示文摘To optimize the conditions for the establishment of two-dimensional gel electrophoresis(2-DE)of soybean protein isolate(SPI),we investigated Ampholine mixture, anodic and cathodic electrolytes, loading amount of sample, acrylamide concentration,p H gradient and gel staining method in twodimensional gel electrophoresis to optimize the protein imaging conditions in two-dimensional gel.The results of mixed-level design experiments showed that Ampholine, loading amount and gel staining method had significant effect(P<0.05)on 2-DE of SPI.The optimal conditions were Ampholine mixture(pH 3–10+pH 5–7 or pH 4–6+pH 5–7),loading amount of 2 mg sample and silver staining.Although the acrylamide concentration of the gel,the p H gradient, the anodic and cathodic electrolyte solutions had significant statistical effects on the protein separation degree, the complexity of the protein composition and the visibility of the gel images were more inclined to the 12%gel,the 3–10 pH gradient and the H3PO4/NaOH electrolyte.According to the established conditions, the hydrolyzed products of SPI emulsion were determined by 2-DE,and the dynamic changes of protein in the process of enzymatic hydrolysis were described. | Xinkai Lu Yaoming Cui Junjun Guan Xue Liu Hao Zhu Xuyang Ji Jianzhang Zheng Yunlong Cheng Xiaofei Fu | 2020 | Grain & Oil Science and Technology2020,3,3: | 2
ALYREF mediates RNA m^(5)C modification to promote hepatocellular carcinoma progression显示文摘Dear Editor,The incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is increasing in many countries due to hepatic virus infection and unhealthy diet habits, and the unsatisfactory overall survival rate calls for novel treatments with higher efficacy.1 Recent studies have shown that RNA modifications are likely to participate in the progression of HCC,2 suggesting new methods for tumor growth control.Specifically,5-methylcytosine(m5C)is one of the most interesting RNA modification types,as accumulating evidence suggests its role in the promotion of HCC tumorigenesis.3 The RNA methyltransferase Aly/REF export factor(ALYREF)is considered one type of“reader”protein located in the nucleus that recognizes and binds directly with m5C sites in RNA and facilitates the export of RNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm.4 Notably,ALYREF is considered a promising target for diagnosis and prognosis prediction.5 However, until now,the low number of related studies has limited the understanding of the mechanism of the HCC-promoting effects of ALYREF. | Chen Xue Xinyu Gu Qiuxian Zheng Qingmiao Shi Xin Yuan Yuanshuai Su Junjun Jia Jianwen Jiang Juan Lu Lanjuan Li | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4: | 2
Chemical vapor deposited diamond with versatile grades:from gemstone to quantum electronics显示文摘Chemical vapor deposited(CVD)diamond as a burgeoning multifunctional material with tailored quality and characteristics can be artificially synthesized and controlled for various applications.Correspondingly, the application-related“grade”concept associated with materials choice and design was gradually formulated,of which the availability and the performance are optimally suited. In this review, the explicit diversity of CVD diamond and the clarification of typical grades for applications,i.e.,from resplendent gem-grade to promising quantum-grade,were systematically summarized and discussed, according to the crystal quality and main consideration of ubiquitous nitrogen impurity content as well as major applications.Realizations of those, from quantum-grade with near-ideal crystal to electronic-grade having extremely low imperfections and then to optical, thermal as well as mechanical-grade needing controlled flaws and allowable impurities, would competently fulfill the multi-field application prospects with appropriate choice in terms of cost and quality.Exceptionally, wide range defects and impurities in the gem-grade diamond(only indicating single crystal),which are detrimental for technology applications, endows CVD crystals with fancy colors to challenge their natural counterparts. | Yuting ZHENG Chengming LI Jinlong LIU Junjun WEI Xiaotong ZHANG Haitao YE Xiaoping OUYANG | 2022 | Frontiers of Materials Science2022,16,1: | 1

The First High-quality Reference Genome of Sika Deer Provides Insights into High-tannin Adaptation显示文摘Sika deer are known to prefer oak leaves, which are rich in tannins and toxic to most mammals;however, the genetic mechanisms underlying their unique ability to adapt to living in the jungle are still unclear. In identifying the mechanism responsible for the tolerance of a highly toxic diet,we have made a major advancement by explaining the genome of sika deer.We generated the first high-quality,chromosome-level genome assembly of sika deer and measured the correlation between tannin intake and RNA expression in 15 tissues through 180 experiments.Comparative genome analyses showed that the UGT and CYP gene families are functionally involved in the adaptation of sika deer to high-tannin food, especially the expansion of the UGT family 2 subfamily B of UGT genes. The first chromosome-level assembly and genetic characterization of the tolerance to a highly toxic diet suggest that the sika deer genome may serve as an essential resource for understanding evolutionary events and tannin adaptation. Our study provides a paradigm of comparative expressive genomics that can be applied to the study of unique biological features in non-model animals. | Xiumei Xing Cheng Ai Tianjiao Wang Yang Li Huitao Liu Pengfei Hu Guiwu Wang Huamiao Liu Hongliang Wang Ranran Zhang Junjun Zheng Xiaobo Wang Lei Wang Yuxiao Chang Qian Qian Jinghua Yu Lixin Tang Shigang Wu Xiujuan Shao Alun Li Peng Cui Wei Zhan Sheng Zhao Zhichao Wu Xiqun Shao Yimeng Dong Min Rong Yihong Tan Xuezhe Cui Shuzhuo Chang Xingchao Song Tongao Yang Limin Sun Yan Ju Pei Zhao Huanhuan Fan Ying Liu Xinhui Wang Wanyun Yang Min Yang Tao Wei Shanshan Song Jiaping Xu Zhigang Yue Qiqi Liang Chunyi Li Jue Ruan Fuhe Yang | 2023 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,1: | 1

ACACB is a novel metabolism-related biomarker in the prediction of response to cetuximab therapy in metastatic colorectal cancer显示文摘Cetuximab is one of the most valuable targeted therapy monoclonal antibodies in the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer(CRC).However, the mechanisms affecting cetuximab resistance in CRC treatment remain unclear.Metabolism, especially fatty acid metabolism, has been reported to play an important role in tumor treatment. The correlation between cetuximab resistance and metabolism and whether it can be a new biomarker to evaluate the sensitivity of cetuximab in CRC treatment still need to be further explored. In this study,we perform a comprehensive analysis to confirm the relationship between fatty acid metabolism and cetuximab resistance, and the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)related to cetuximab drug resistance in CRC are screened by bioinformatics technology. We find that acetyl-CoA carboxylase beta(ACACB),ADH1C,CES1,MGLL,FMO5,and GPT are the hub DEGs,and ACACB is the most important biomarker among them.In addition,we systematically analyze the role of ACACB in the tumorigenesis of CRC,including tissue expression,CRC cell growth, cetuximab sensitivity, and potential downstream pathways,by using bioinformatics techniques,in vitro experiments and clinical cohort validation. Our results confirm that cetuximab resistance is correlated with metabolism.ACACB can lead to decreased sensitivity to cetuximab in CRC,and its mechanism may be related to EGFR phosphorylation, which could affect the activation of the mTOR/Akt signaling pathway and regulation of CDT1-,cyclin D1-,and p21-related cell cycle modulation. | Hi-Ju Hong Yanfei Shao Sen Zhang Guang Yang Hongtao Jia Xiao Yang Ling Huang Shuchun Li Batuer Aikemu Luyang Zhang Junjun Ma Lu Zang Jing Sun Minhua Zheng | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,11: | 1
Review on research and development of oxy-coal burner for carbon capture显示文摘In the past two decades, the oxy-fuel combustion of pulverized coal has been extensively developed, leading to the completion of several large industrial pilot oxy-fuel plants worldwide. Various types of oxy-fuel burners have been designed and tested in largescale pilot plants as key components of oxy-fuel combustion. These burners face major challenges in terms of their flame stability because of their decreasing stream momentum ratio and increasing carbon dioxide concentration. However, it offers flexibility in adjusting the oxygen concentration in each burner stream. This study aims to provide a comprehensive review of the state-of-the-art knowledge on oxy-coal burner design and operation in power plants. First, the combustion characteristics under oxy-fuel conditions are briefly introduced. Subsequently, the principal requirements and fundamental parameters of the oxy-coal burners are discussed. The development process of oxy-fuel burners is also presented. Moreover, a compatible design strategy and scaling-up techniques are described for oxy-coal burners developed by the authors over the past ten years. The performances of oxy-coal burners in three large pilot oxy-fuel plants worldwide are summarized and compared. Finally, concluding remarks are provided and potential research needs are suggested. | GUO JunJun LIU JingZhang ZHANG Tai HU Fan LI PengFei LIU ZhaoHui ZHENG ChuGuang | 2024 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2024,67,3: | 0
Path guided motion synthesis for Drosophila larvae显示文摘The deformability and high degree of freedom of mollusks bring challenges in mathematical modeling and synthesis of motions.Traditional analytical and statistical models are limited by either rigid skeleton assumptions or model capacity, and have difficulty in generating realistic and multi-pattern mollusk motions. In this work,we present a large-scale dynamic pose dataset of Drosophila larvae and propose a motion synthesis model named Path2Pose to generate a pose sequence given the initial poses and the subsequent guiding path. The Path2Pose model is further used to synthesize long pose sequences of various motion patterns through a recursive generation method.Evaluation analysis results demonstrate that our novel model synthesizes highly realistic mollusk motions and achieves state-of-the-art performance. Our work proves high performance of deep neural networks for mollusk motion synthesis and the feasibility of long pose sequence synthesis based on the customized body shape and guiding path. | Junjun CHEN Yijun WANG Yixuan SUN Yifei YU Zi’ao LIU Zhefeng GONG Nenggan ZHENG | 2023 | Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2023,24,10: | 0
Arabidopsis RNA polymerase Ⅱ C-terminal domain phosphatase-like 1 targets mitogen-activated protein kinase cascades to suppress plant immunity显示文摘Mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) cascades play pivotal roles in plant defense against phytopathogens downstream of immune receptor complexes. The amplitude and duration of MAPK activation must be strictly controlled, but the underlying mechanism remains unclear. Here, we identified Arabidopsis CPL1(C-terminal domain phosphatase-like 1)as a negative regulator of microbe-associated molecular pattern(MAMP)-triggered immunity via a forward-genetic screen. Disruption of CPL1 significantly enhanced plant resistance to Pseudomonas pathogens induced by the bacterial peptide fg22. Furthermore, fg22-induced MPK3/MPK4/MPK6 phosphorylation was dramatically elevated in cpl1 mutants but severely impaired in CPL1 overexpression lines, suggesting that CPL1 might interfere with fg22-induced MAPK activation. Indeed, CPL1 directly interacted with MPK3 and MPK6, as well as the upstream MKK4 and MKK5. A firefy luciferase-based complementation assay indicated that the interaction between MKK4/MKK5 and MPK3/MPK6 was significantly reduced in the presence of CPL1. These results suggest that CPL1 plays a novel regulatory role in suppressing MAMP-induced MAPK cascade activation and MAMP-triggered immunity to bacterial pathogens. | Junjun Wei Wei Sun Xinhang Zheng Shanshan Qiu Shuangyu Jiao Kevin Babilonia Hisashi Koiwa Ping He Libo Shan Wenxian Sun Fuhao Cui | 2023 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,10: | 0
