1RESEARCH OF QUANTUM GENETIC ALGORITH AND ITS APPLICATION IN BLIND SOURCE SEPARATION显示文摘This letter proposes two algorithms: a novel Quantum Genetic Algorithm (QGA)based on the improvement of Han's Genetic Quantum Algorithm (GQA) and a new Blind Source Separation (BSS) method based on QGA and Independent Component Analysis (ICA). 2MATRIEX imaging:multiarea two-photon real-time in vivo explorer显示文摘Two-photon laser scanning microscopy has been extensively applied to study in vivo neuronal activity at cellular and subcellular resolutions in mammalian brains.However,the extent of such studies is typically confined to a single functional region of the brain.Here,we demonstrate a novel technique,termed the multiarea two-photon real-time in vivo explorer(MATRIEX),that allows the user to target multiple functional brain regions distributed within a zone of up to 12mm in diameter,each with a field of view(FOV)of ~200μm in diameter,thus performing two-photon Ca2+imaging with single-cell resolution in all of the regions simultaneously.For example,we demonstrate real-time functional imaging of single-neuron activities in the primary visual cortex,primary motor cortex and hippocampal CA1 region of mice in both anesthetized and awake states.A unique advantage of the MATRIEX technique is the configuration of multiple microscopic FOVs that are distributed in three-dimensional space over macroscopic distances(>1 mm)both laterally and axially but that are imaged by a single conventional laser scanning device.In particular,the MATRIEX technique can be effectively implemented as an add-on optical module for an existing conventional single-beam-scanning two-photon microscope without requiring any modification to the microscope itself.Thus,the MATRIEX technique can be readily applied to substantially facilitate the exploration of multiarea neuronal activity in vivo for studies of brain-wide neural circuit function with single-cell resolution.Mengke Yang Zhenqiao Zhou Jianxiong Zhang Shanshan Jia Tong Li Jiangheng Guan Xiang Liao Bing Leng Jing Lyu Kuan Zhang Min Li Yan Gong Zhiming Zhu Junan Yan Yi Zhou Jian K Liu Zsuzsanna Varga Arthur Konnerth Yuguo Tang Jinsong Gao Xiaowei Chen Hongbo Jia 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:4

4External field assisted hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘As a clean,efficient,and sustainable energy,hydrogen is expected to replace traditional fossil energy.A series of studies focusing on morphology regulation,surface modification,and structural reconstruction have been devoted to improving the intrinsic catalytic activity of non-noble metal catalysts.However,complex system structure design and the mutual interference of various chemical components would hinder the further improvement of hydrogen evolution performance.In recent years,external field assisted hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)has become a new research hotspot.Herein,we systematically summarize the promoting effects of various external fields on catalytic hydrogen production from the aspects of system design and catalytic mechanism,including electric field,thermal field,optical field,magnetic field,and acoustic field.Ultimately,we discuss the key challenges facing this external field regulation strategy and put forward the prospect of future research topics.We sincerely expect that this review could not only provide a new insight into the basic mechanism of external-assisted catalysis,but also promote further research on improving HER performance from a more diverse and comprehensive perspective.Jingwen Li Weinan Yin Junan Pan Yingbo Zhang Fengshun Wang Longlu Wang Qiang Zhao 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:1

7Chemotherapy drugs derived nanoparticles encapsulating mRNA encoding tumor suppressor proteins to treat triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)is one type of the most aggressive breast can cers with poor prog no sis.It is of great urgency to develop new therapeutics for treati ng TNBC.Based on curre nt treatment guideline and genetic informatio n of TNBC,a combi nation al therapy platform in tegrati ng chemotherapy drugs and mRNA encoding tumor suppressor proteins may become an efficacious strategy.In this study,we developed paclitaxel amino lipid(PAL)derived nanoparticles(NPs)to incorporate both chemotherapy drugs and P53 mRNA.The PAL P53 mRNA NPs showed superior properties compared to Abraxane? and Lipusu? used in the clinic including high paclitaxel loading capacity(24 wt.%,calculated by paclitaxel in PAL),PAL encapsulation efficiency(94.7%±6.8%)and mRNA encapsulation efficiency(88.7%±0.7%).Meanwhile,these NPs displayed synergetic cytotoxicity of paclitaxel and P53 mRNA in cultured TNBC cells.More importantly,we demonstrated in vivo anti-tumor efficacy of PAL P53 mRNA NPs in an orthotopic TNBC mouse model.Overall,these chemotherapy drugs derived mRNA NPs provide a new platform to integrate chemotherapy and personalized medicine using tumor genetic information,and therefore represent a promising approach for TNBC treatment.Chengxiang Zhang Xinfu Zhang Weiyu Zhao Chunxi Zeng Wenqing Li Bin Li Xiao Luo Junan Li Justin Jiang Binbin Deng David W. 13Recovering unknown topology in a two-layer multiplex network:One layer infers the other layer显示文摘There have been increasing interests in studying multiplex dynamical networks recently.This paper focuses on topology identiflcation of two-layer multiplex networks with peer-to-peer interlayer couplings.For a two-layer network model in which different layers have different coupling patterns,we propose novel methods to recover unknown topological structure of one layer,using the information of the other layer known as a prior.The proposed methods make full use of the measured evolutional states of the multiplex network itself,and treat the layer with a known structure as an auxiliary layer which is designed to identify the unknown topological layer.Compared with the traditional synchronization-based identiflcation method,the proposed methods are in no need of constructing an additional auxiliary network to identify the unknown topological layer,and thus greatly reduce the cost of topology identiflcation.Finally,numerical simulations validate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.LIU Hui SHANG ZhiCheng REN ZiYi LI Yan ZENG ZhiGang LU JunAn 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,7:1
