| 1 | Nature brings new avenues to the therapy of central nervous system diseases——an overview of possible treatments derived from natural products显示文摘Natural products(NPs), including traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), have been long and widely used in the prevention and treatment of central nervous system(CNS) diseases by virtue of their abundant sources, diverse structures, and novel activities.In this review article, we intend to summarize and discuss the situation or status of the clinical employments or trials of the NPs and their derivatives with CNS activities. NPs that have been extensively studied in preclinical research in recent years are also included. The compounds presented in this review are classified according to their indications and followed by details such as natural sources, possible biological mechanisms, and development status, while a considerable proportion of them are found in TCM. In addition, some drug combinations with synergistic effects are also mentioned. | 4 | 一项有关来那度胺联合低剂量地塞米松治疗中国复发/难治性多发性骨髓瘤患者的多中心、开放性Ⅱ期临床试验:MM-021试验(全译文)显示文摘目的:在中国,复发/难治性多发性骨髓瘤(RRMM)的治疗方案不能满足患者的需求。来那度胺联合低剂量地塞米松可有效治疗白种人RRMM患者,并且通常具备良好的耐受性,但是过去的研究并未评估该疗法对中国RRMM患者的疗效。方法:MM-021是一项多中心、单治疗组、开放性Ⅱ期临床试验,旨在评估来那度胺联合低剂量地塞米松治疗中国RRMM患者的疗效、安全性和药物代谢动力学特征。既往接受过≥1种抗骨髓瘤疗法治疗的患者服用来那度胺+低剂量地塞米松,直至疾病进展或停止用药。存活患者需在入选后接受≥1年的随访。来那度胺剂量为25mg/d,并根据基线肾功能进行调整。大多数受试者均为晚期病患(85.6%为Durie-SalmonⅢ期),并且既往接受过大量治疗(56.7%既往接受过≥4种抗骨髓瘤治疗;69.5%既往接受过沙利度胺治疗;63.1%既往接受过硼替佐米治疗);5.3%患者为免疫球蛋白D型(IgD)。结果:安全性研究群体共有199例入选患者。在疗效研究群体187例患者中,疾病控制率(至少疾病稳定)为94.7%,总缓解率(至少部分缓解)为47.6%,患有肾功能损害及IgD型的患者亦取得高缓解率。至15.2个月中位随访期后,中位缓解持续时间为8.8(0.4-18.8)个月,中位无进展生存期为8.3个月(95%CI6.5-9.8)。最常见3-4级不良事件(AE)为贫血(26.1%)、中性粒细胞减少(25.1%)、血小板减少(14.6%)、肺炎(13.1%)、白细胞减少(9.5%)和中性粒细胞计数减少(8.5%)。AE导致40.2%的患者减少来那度胺剂量和(或)暂停使用,并导致约9.0%的患者停止用药。来那度胺药物代谢动力学特征与白种人和日本患者报道的结果相似。结论:既往接受过多次治疗的中国RRMM患者(包括肾功能损害和IgD亚型患者)对来那度胺联合低剂量地塞米松治疗方案具有可接受的安全性和高缓解率。这些研究发现显示了此治疗方案对于目前治疗方案均无效的中国RRMM患者具有临床应用潜力。 | 侯健 杜欣 金洁 蔡真 陈方平 周道斌 于力 克晓燕 李晓 吴德沛 孟凡义 艾辉胜 Jingshan Zhang Honeylet Wortman-Vayn Nianhang Chen Jay Mei 王健民 | 2014 | 临床血液学杂志2014,27,5: | 18 |

| 6 | Combined human growth hormone and lactulose for prevention and treatment of multiple organ dysfunction in patients with severe chronic hepatitis B显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the efficiency and safety of combined recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) and lactulose for treatment and/or prevention of multiple organ dysfunction in patients with chronic severe hepatitis B. METHODS: Forty-eight inpatients with chronic severe hepatitis B were randomly divided into rhGH group (n = 28)and control group (n = 20). In rhGH group, 4-4.5 IU of rhGH was injected intramuscularly once daily for 2-4 wk,and 100 mL of enema containing 30 mL of lactulose, 2 g of metronidazole and 0.9% saline was administered every 2 d for 2-4 wk. Their symptoms and complications were noted. Liver and kidney functions were analyzed by an Olympus analyzer. Serum GH, IGF-1, IGFBP1 and IGFBP3 were measured by ELISA.RESULTS: Clinical symptoms of 90% of these patients in rhGH group were obviously improved. The total effectiveness in rhGH group was better than that in control group (75% vs40%, P<0.05). After 2- and 4-wk treatment of rhGH respectively, serum albumin (26.1±4.1 vs 30.2±5.3,31.9±5.1 g/L), prealbumin (79.6±28.0 vs 106.6±54.4,108.4±55.0 g/L), cholesterol (76.3±16.7 vs 85.6±32.3,96.1±38.7 mg/dL), and IGFBP1 (56.8±47.2 vs 89.7±50.3ng/mL after 2 wk) were significantly increased compared to control group (P<0.05). However, serum GH was decreased. | 8 | Therapeutic evaluation of lumbar tender point deep massage for chronic non-specific low back pain显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the therapeutic effect of lumbar tender point deep tissue massage plus lumbar traction on chronic non-specific low back pain using change in pressure pain threshold,muscle hardness and pain intensity as indices.METHODS:We randomly divided 64 patients into a treatment group(32 cases) and a control group(32 cases).Two drop-outs occurred in each group.Patients in the treatment group received tender point deep tissue massage plus lumbar traction and patients in the control group received lumbar traction,alone.We used a tissue hardness meter/algometer and visual analog scale(VAS) to assess the pressure pain threshold,muscle hardness and pain intensity.RESULTS:Following treatment,we obtained the following results in the treatment and control groups,respectively:the pressure pain threshold difference was 1.5±0.8 and 1.1±0.7;the muscle hardness difference was 4.2±1.6 and 3.5±1.3;and the VAS score difference was 1.9±0.9 and 1.4±0.8.Compared to the control group,the treatment group had higher pressure pain threshold(t=2.09,P<0.05),and lower muscle hardness(t=2.05,P<0.05) and pain intensity(t=2.46,P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Lumbar tender point deep tissue massage combined with lumbar traction produced better improvement in pressure pain threshold,muscle hardness and pain intensity in patients with chronic non-specific low back pain than with lumbar traction alone. | Zhixin Zheng Jun Wang Qian Gao Jingshan Hou Ling Ma Congbo Jiang Guohui Chen | 2012 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,4: | 10 |
| 9 | Simulations on the influence of lunar surface temperature profiles on CE-1 lunar microwave sounder brightness temperature显示文摘Surface temperature profile is an important parameter in lunar microwave remote sensing. Based on the analysis of physical properties of the lunar samples brought back by the Apollo and Luna missions, we modeled temporal and spatial variation of lunar surface temperature with the heat conduction equation, and produced temperature distribution in top 6.0 m of lunar regolith of the whole Moon surface. Our simulation results show that the profile of lunar surface temperature varies mainly within the top 20 cm, except at the lunar polar regions where the changes can reach to about 1.0 m depth. The temperature is stable beyond that depth. The variations of lunar surface temperature lead to main changes in brightness temperature (TB) at different channels of the lunar microwave sounder (CELMS) on Chang'E-1 (CE-1). | 14 | Calibration and brightness temperature algorithm of CE-1 Lunar Microwave Sounder (CELMS)显示文摘CE-1 Lunar Microwave Sounder (CELMS) is the first passive microwave radiometer in the world to sound the surface of the Moon in the lunar orbit at altitude of 200 km. The scientific objective of CELMS is to obtain global brightness temperature (TB) of the Moon, to retrieve information on lunar regolith, and to evaluate the distribution of helium-3 on the Moon implanted by solar wind. Before launch of CELMS, a series of experiments were carried out in laboratories to test the performances of the systems, and to calibrate the responses between the input of TB and the output of voltage from the receivers. However, the thermal condition exposed to CELMS is more complicated in lunar orbit than on the Earth, which makes the temperatures of different parts of CELMS wave vary greatly, and the cosmic background is not very clean due to the pointing of cold space antenna to the direction of the satellite running, which brings uncertainties into data-processing of CELMS when the temperature of cold space is used as a calibrator. Furthermore, the lack of knowledge on the lunar ingredients and compositions, distributions of physical temperatures, and properties on lunar microwave radiation leads to difficulties in validating the measurements and retrievals of CELMS. By analyzing the results of ground experiments and the measurements of CELMS in-orbit, along with our knowledge of the properties of lunar surface, here we give algorithms on calibration and antenna pattern correction (APC) of CELMS. We also describe in detail the principle of microwave transfer among the elements of CELMS, and discuss the method on testing calibration parameters of the system. In addition, the theory and model on correction antenna pattern of CELMS are developed by comparing antenna temperatures by CELMS with those simulated by microwave radiative transfer models. The global distribution of TB is given and the features of TB are analyzed. | 15 | Site amplification effects as an explanation for the intensity anomaly in the Hanyuan Town during the Wenchuan Mw 7.9 earthquake显示文摘The Hanyuan Town is located approximately 200 km from the macro-epicenter of the great Wenchuan earthquake. However, it is within the only Intensity Ⅷ zone, surrounded by a region of Intensity Ⅵ. The objective of this study was to investigate this high-intensity anomaly with respect to the site amplifications in the Hanyuan Town. The base inputs were derived from the records at a nearby strong-motion station because no records were available from the town. The characteristics of the subsurface formations and their dynamic properties at a typical site in the town were obtained by drilling, field tests and laboratory tests. Seismic response and parametric sensitivity analyses of the site were conducted using Shake 91, and the results were compared with the provisions for rare earthquakes from the Chinese Code for Seismic Design of Buildings(GBJ11-89). The results showed that the average peak acceleration at the site during the Wenchuan earthquake is similar to the code-specified value under rare earthquakes, that the corresponding spectral accelerations for periods between approximately 0.35 and 0.75 s are significantly stronger than those specified by the code and that the average amplification factor at the site is significantly higher than the mean value of the site class. | 17 | Significant Inhibition of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus In Vitro by Remdesivir,Its Parent Nucleoside and β-D-N^(4)-hydroxycytidine显示文摘Porcine epidemic diarrhea(PED)caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV)is widespread in the world.In recent years,the increased virulence of the virus due to viral variations,has caused great economic losses to the pig industry in many countries.It is always worthy to find effective therapeutic methods for PED.As an important class of antivirals,nucleoside drugs which target viral polymerases have been applied in treating human viral infections for half a century.Herein,we evaluated the anti-PEDV potential of three broad-spectrum antiviral nucleoside analogs,remdesivir(RDV),its parent nucleoside(RDV-N)andβ-D-N^(4)-hydroxycytidine(NHC).Among them,RDV-N was the most active agent in Vero E6 cells with EC_(50) of 0.31μmol/L,and more potent than RDV(EC_(50)=0.74μmol/L)and NHC(EC_(50)=1.17μmol/L).The activity of RDV-N was further confirmed using an indirect immuno-fluorescence assay.Moreover,RDV-N exhibited a good safety profile in cells and in mice.The high sequence similarity of the polymerase functional domains of PEDV with other five porcine coronaviruses indicated a broader antiviral spectrum for the three compounds.Generally,RDV-N is a promising broad-spectrum antiviral nucleoside,and it would be worthy to make some structural modifications to increse its oral bioavailability. | Yuanchao Xie Xiaozhen Guo Tianwen Hu Daibao Wei Xiuli Ma Jiaqiang Wu Bing Huang Jingshan Shen | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,5: | 3 |
| 18 | Investigation of anaplasmosis in Yiyuan County,Shandong Province,China显示文摘Objective:To investigate the situation of anaplasmosis in Yiyuan county.Shandong Province. Methods:A total of 26 blood samples from febrile patients suspected of anaplasmosis,48 blood samples from healthy farmers,8 from dogs,and 10 from goats and 170 ticks were collected in the same area during 2005-2007,and detected by serological and molecular methods.Results: Eight confirmed cases and 6 probable cases were determined using serologic and molecular methods.The seroprevalence of Anaplasma phagocytophilum(A.phagocytophilum) was 26.7% in healthy cases.Nine out of 10 sheep samples and 7 out of 8 dog samples reacted positively to the A.phagocytophilum antigen.PCR amplification and sequencing of the 16SrRNA of,4. phagocytophilum gene showed that some samples from patients,goats and ticks were 100% identical.The seroprevalence of Rickettsia typhi was 22.9%,Orientia tsutsugamushi 6.3%, Rickettsia sibirica 27.1%,Coxiella burnetii 18.8%,Bartonella henselae 31.3%,and Borrelia burgdorferi 41.6%.Conclusions:It is important to make differential diagnosis of febrile patients and to apply treatment with specific antibiotics.It is needed to enforce essential prevention and control measures including tick control and to improve sanitation conditions. | Lijuan Zhang Feng Cui Lingling Wang Lingling Zhang Jingshan Zhang Shiwen Wang Shuxia Yang | 2011 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2011,4,7: | 3 |
| 19 | Distribution and anomaly of microwave emission at Lunar South Pole显示文摘Investigation on Lunar polar area is almost every lunar mission’s primary objective in recent years. The rationale behind it is that illumination and ice resources in this area can be potentially very helpful for constructing lunar human base. In this paper, we analyze microwave radiometric characteristics of the Moon by using the newly acquired Chang’E-1 Lunar Microwave Sounder (CELMS) data. Microwave brightness temperature at Lunar South Pole (LSP) is distributed regularly with a style of 'ring-in-ring', decreasing from equator to pole. Regolith temperature gradient is bigger at lunar equator than at polar area. Brightness temperature diurnal difference decreases with observation frequency. Microwave brightness temperature distribution maps at LSP and Lunar North Pole (LNP) have been made based on the analysis. It is found that microwave brightness temperature becomes to synchronize with elevation beyond -85° latitude. This phenomenon is related to lightening condition and indicates temperature distribution at LSP.
