1Fluid Inclusion and H-O Isotope Geochemistry of the Phapon Gold Deposit, NW Laos: Implications for Fluid Source and Ore Genesis显示文摘The Phapon gold deposit, located in northern Laos, is a unique large-scale gold deposit in Luang Prabang-Loei metallogenic belt. It is hosted in the Lower Permian limestone and controlled by a NE-trending ductile-brittle fault system. There are three types of primary ore including auriferous calcite vein type, disseminated type, and breccia type, and the first two are important in the Phapon gold deposit. Based on fluid inclusion petrography and microthermometry, three types of primary fluid inclusions including type 1 liquid-rich aqueous, type 2 vapor-rich aqueous and type 3 daughter mineralbearing aqueous were identified in hydrothermal calcite grains. The ore-forming fluids are normally homogeneous, as indicated by the widespread type 1 inclusions with identical composition. The coexistence of type 1 and type 2 inclusions, showing similar final homogenization temperature but different compositions, indicate that fluid immiscibility did locally take place in both two types of ores. The results of microthermometry and H-O isotopes geochemistry indicate that there are little differences on ore-fluid geochemistry between the auriferous calcite vein-type and disseminated type ores. The oreforming fluids are characterized by medium-low temperatures(157–268 oC) and low salinity(1.6 wt.%–9.9 wt.% NaCl eq.). It is likely to have a metamorphic-dominant mixed source, which could be associated with dehydration and decarbonisation of Lower Permian limestone and Middle–Upper Triassic sandstones during the dynamic metamorphism. The fluid-wallrock interaction played a major role, and the locally occurred fluid-immiscible processes played a subordinate role in gold precipitation. 2miR-23b promotes cutaneous wound healing through inhibition of the inflammatory responses by targeting ASK1显示文摘Wound healing is a complicated event that develops in three overlapping phases:inflammatory, proliferative,and remodeling.MicroRNAs (miRNAs)have been proved to play an important role in the healing process of skin trauma,and alteration of specific miRNA expression during different phases may be associated with abnormal wound healing.In this study,we determined the variation of miR-23b expression after trauma in normal mice and in cultured cells exposed to lipopolysaccharide.We further demonstrated that excessive miR-23b could significantly accelerate wound healing in vivo.Up-regulation of miR-23b decreases infiltration of inflammatory cells,as evidenced by pathologic staining.Meanwhile,miR-23b could significantly inhibit the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines,including TNF-α,IL-1β,IL-6,and Ccl2,and significantly increase antiinflammatory factor IL-10.Furthermore,miR-23b could also promote α-SMA expression in a fiber pattern and increase the expression of Col1a1 and Col3a1.Importantly,we also showed that miR- 23b could inhibit inflammation to promote wound healing by targeting apoptotic signal-regulating kinase 1 (ASK1).Notably,knockdown of ASK1 could reduce inflammation factor expression in vitro.Together,our data reveal that miR-23b is a potent therapeutic agent for cutaneous wound healing that shortens the period of inflammatory responses and promotes keratinocyte migration for the re-epithelialization of wound sites.Hongzhi Li Xiao Han Kuiyang Zuo Li Li Jieting Liu Xiaohuan Yuan Yongchao Shen Minglong Shao Daxin Pang Yanhui Chu Binghai Zhao 2018Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2018,50,11:5
3Efficient genotype-independent cotton genetic transformation and genome editing显示文摘Cotton(Gossypium spp.)is one of the most important fiber crops worldwide.In the last two decades,transgenesis and genome editing have played important roles in cotton improvement.However,genotype dependence is one of the key bottlenecks in generating transgenic and gene-edited cotton plants through either particle bombardment or Agrobacterium-mediated transformation.Here,we developed a shoot apical meristem(SAM)cell-mediated transformation system(SAMT)that allowed the transformation of recalcitrant cotton genotypes including widely grown upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum),Sea island cotton(Gossypium barbadense),and Asiatic cotton(Gossypium arboreum).Through SAMT,we successfully introduced two foreign genes,GFP and RUBY,into SAM cells of some recalcitrant cotton genotypes.Within 2–3 months,transgenic adventitious shoots generated from the axillary meristem zone could be recovered and grown into whole cotton plants.The GFP fluorescent signal and betalain accumulation could be observed in various tissues in GFP-and RUBY-positive plants,as well as in their progenies,indicating that the transgenes were stably integrated into the genome and transmitted to the next generation.Furthermore,using SAMT,we successfully generated edited cotton plants with inheritable targeted mutagenesis in the GhPGF and GhRCD1 genes through CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing.In summary,the established SAMT transformation system here in this study bypasses the embryogenesis process during tissue culture in a conventional transformation procedure and significantly accelerates the generation of transgenic and gene-edited plants for genetic improvement of recalcitrant cotton varieties.Xiaoyang Ge Jieting Xu Zhaoen Yang Xiaofeng Yang Ye Wang Yanli Chen Peng Wang Fuguang Li 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,4:3
4Safety analysis of optimal outriggers location in high-rise building structures显示文摘This paper presents the restraining moments of outriggers acting on the core wall and the equation of the horizontal top deflection based on a simplified outrigger model. The deformation compatibility conditions between outriggers and core wall as well as the finite rigidities of outriggers are also considered. One case study was carried out to analyze the horizontal top deflection and the mutation of the restraining moments caused by the variation of outrigger location. The results showed that the method adopted in the paper is simple and reasonable. 13On Derek Parfit's Objectivist Theory of Reasons for Action:Desire-based or Value-based?显示文摘The issue of the sources of normativity has been a very hot topic in contemporary Anglo-American ethics. Some scholars believe that the normativity should be interpreted as a reason-implying concept and it can be analyzed further as moral reasons. So,to better understand the sources of normativity,we have to explore the sources of the reasons further.Generally,there are two competing views on the sources of reasons:subjectivism and objectivism. Subjectivism argues that the reasons for action are ultimately based on desires or facts about desires. Objectivism argues that the reasons are given by the objects,determined by the value of the relevant facts about desired objects. Parfit proposed an objectivist theory of reasons for action,and he tried to prove that reasons are external,objective,and value-based,through his three arguments,i. e.,the agony argument,the all or none argument,and the incoherence argument. 15Research on the Impact of Digital Finance on Energy Efficiency in China显示文摘Digital finance and green technology innovation(GTI)serve as powerful engines for promoting energy efficiency(EE)and economic development.This paper explores the mechanism by which digital finance impacts EE based on panel data from 30 provinces in China spanning from 2011 to 2019.The results demonstrate that digital finance can significantly enhance EE,with a particularly pronounced effect in the eastern region.Through mechanistic analysis,it is evident that GTI serves as the transmission pathway through which digital finance influences EE,accounting for 45.3%of the effect.The policy implication of this study suggests that China should expedite the digitization of financial markets to further harness the development of digital finance,particularly in pursuit of its technological innovation and green,lowcarbon environmental protection effects.Jieting Jin 2024Proceedings of Business and Economic Studies2024,7,1:0
16Resisting metal aggregation in pyrolysis of MOFs towards highdensity metal nanocatalysts for efficient hydrazine assisted hydrogen production显示文摘The preparation of supported high-density metal nanoparticles(NPs)is of great importance to boost the performance in heterogeneous catalysis.Thermal transformation of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)has been demonstrated as a promising route for the synthesis of supported metal NPs with high metal loadings,but it is challenge to achieve uniform metal dispersion.Here we report a strategy of“spatial isolation and dopant anchoring”to resist metal aggregation in the pyrolysis of MOFs through converting a bulk MOF into dual-heteroatom-containing flower-like MOF sheets(B/N-MOF-S).This approach can spatially isolate metal ions and increase the number of anchoring sites,thus efficiently building physical and/or chemical barriers to cooperatively prevent metal NPs from aggregation in the high-temperature transformation process.After thermolysis at 1,000℃,the B/N-MOFS affords B,N co-doped carbon-supported Co NPs(Co/BNC)with uniform dispersion and a high Co loading of 37.3 wt.%,while untreated bulk MOFs yield much larger sizes and uneven distribution of Co NPs.The as-obtained Co/BNC exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activities in both hydrogen evolution and hydrazine oxidation reactions,only a voltage of 0.617 V at a high current density of 100 mA·cm^(−2)is required when applied to a two-electrode overall hydrazine splitting electrolyzer.Jieting Ding Danyu Guo Anqian Hu Xianfeng Yang Kui Shen Liyu Chen Yingwei Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
17Magnesium implantation or supplementation ameliorates bone disorder in CFTR-mutant mice through an ATF4-dependent Wnt/β-catenin signaling显示文摘Magnesium metal and its alloys are being developed as effective orthopedic implants;however,the mechanisms underlying the actions of magnesium on bones remain unclear.Cystic fibrosis,the most common genetic disease in Caucasians caused by the mutation of CFTR,has shown bone disorder as a key clinical manifestation,which currently lacks effective therapeutic options.Here we report that implantation of magnesium-containing implant stimulates bone formation and improves bone fracture healing in CFTR-mutant mice.Wnt/β-catenin signaling in the bone is enhanced by the magnesium implant,and inhibition of Wnt/β-catenin by iCRT14 blocks the magnesium implant to improve fracture healing in CFTR-mutant mice.We further demonstrate that magnesium ion enters osteocytes,increases intracellular cAMP level and activates ATF4,a key transcription factor known to regulate Wnt/β-catenin signaling.In vivo knockdown of ATF4 abolishes the magnesium implant-activated β-catenin in bones and reverses the improved-fracture healing in CFTR-mutant mice.In addition,oral supplementation of magnesium activates ATF4 and β-catenin as well as enhances bone volume and density in CFTR-mutant mice.Together,these results show that magnesium implantation or supplementation may serve as a potential anabolic therapy for cystic fibrosis-related bone disease.Activation of ATF4-dependent Wnt/β-catenin signaling in osteocytes is identified as a previously undefined mechanism underlying the beneficial effect of magnesium on bone formation.Jiankun Xu Peijie Hu Xiaotian Zhang Junjiang Chen Jiali Wang Jieting Zhang Ziyi Chen Mei Kuen Yu Yiu Wa Chung Yan Wang Xiaohu Zhang Yifeng Zhang Nianye Zheng Hao Yao Jiang Yue Hsiao Chang Chan Ling Qin Ye Chun Ruan 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,2:0
