| 5 | Variational iteration solving method for El Nio phenomenon atmospheric physics of nonlinear model显示文摘A class of El Nino atmospheric physics oscillation model is considered. The El Nino atmospheric physics oscillation is an abnormal phenomenon involved in the tropical Pacific ocean-atmosphere interactions. The conceptual oscillator model should consider the variations of both the eastern and western Pacific anomaly patterns. An El Nino atmospheric physics model is proposed using a method for the variational iteration theory. Using the variational iteration method, the approximate expansions of the solution of corresponding problem are constructed. That is, firstly, introducing a set of functional and accounting their variationals, the Lagrange multiplicators are counted, and then the variational iteration is defined, finally, the approximate solution is obtained. From approximate expansions of the solution, the zonal sea surface temperature anomaly in the equatorial eastern Pacific and the thermocline depth anomaly of the sea-air oscillation for El Nino atmospheric physics model can be analyzed. El Nino is a very complicated natural phenomenon. Hence basic models need to be reduced for the sea-air oscillator and are solved. | 9 | Imputation from SNP chip to sequence: a case study in a Chinese indigenous chicken population显示文摘Background: Genome-wide association studies and genomic predictions are thought to be optimized by using whole-genome sequence(WGS) data. However, sequencing thousands of individuals of interest is expensive.Imputation from SNP panels to WGS data is an attractive and less expensive approach to obtain WGS data. The aims of this study were to investigate the accuracy of imputation and to provide insight into the design and execution of genotype imputation.Results: We genotyped 450 chickens with a 600 K SNP array, and sequenced 24 key individuals by whole genome re-sequencing. Accuracy of imputation from putative 60 K and 600 K array data to WGS data was 0.620 and 0.812 for Beagle, and 0.810 and 0.914 for FImpute, respectively. By increasing the sequencing cost from 24 X to 144 X, the imputation accuracy increased from 0.525 to 0.698 for Beagle and from 0.654 to 0.823 for FImpute. With fixed sequence depth(12 X), increasing the number of sequenced animals from 1 to 24, improved accuracy from 0.421 to0.897 for FImpute and from 0.396 to 0.777 for Beagle. Using optimally selected key individuals resulted in a higher imputation accuracy compared with using randomly selected individuals as a reference population for resequencing. With fixed reference population size(24), imputation accuracy increased from 0.654 to 0.875 for FImpute and from 0.512 to 0.762 for Beagle as the sequencing depth increased from 1 X to 12 X. With a given total cost of genotyping, accuracy increased with the size of the reference population for FImpute, but the pattern was not valid for Beagle, which showed the highest accuracy at six fold coverage for the scenarios used in this study.Conclusions: In conclusion, we comprehensively investigated the impacts of several key factors on genotype imputation. Generally, increasing sequencing cost gave a higher imputation accuracy. But with a fixed sequencing cost, the optimal imputation enhance the performance of WGP and GWAS. An optimal imputation strategy should take size of reference population, imputation algorithms, marker density, and population structure of the target population and methods to select key individuals into consideration comprehensively. | 10 | Analysis of a Water-Inrush Disaster Caused by Coal Seam Subsidence Karst Collapse Column under the Action of Multi-Field Coupling in Taoyuan Coal Mine显示文摘Minin-induced water inrush from a confined aquifer due to subsided floor karst collapse column(SKCC)is a type of serious disaster in the underground coal extraction.Karst collapse column(KCC)developed in a confined aquifer occurs widely throughout northern China.A water inrush disaster from SKCC occurred in Taoyuan coal mine on February 3,2013.In order to analyze the effect of the KCC influence zone’s(KCCIZ)width and the entry driving distance of the water inrush through the fractured channels of the SKCC,the stress,seepage,and impact dynamics coupling equations were used tomodel the seepage rule,and a numerical FLAC3D model was created to determine the plastic zones,the vertical displacement development of the rockmass surrounding the entry driving working face(EDWF),and the seepage vector and water inflow development of the seepage field.The hysteretic mechanism of water inrush due to SKCC in Taoyuan coal mine was investigated.The results indicate that a water inrush disaster will occur when the width of the KCCIZ exceeds 16 m under a driving,which leads to the aquifer connecting with the fractured zones of the entry floor.Hysteretic water inrush disasters are related to the stress release rate of the surrounding rocks under the entry driving.When the entry driving exceeds about 10 m from the water inrush point,the stress release rate reaches about 100%,and a water inrush disaster occurs. | Zhibin Lin Boyang Zhang Jiaqi Guo | 2021 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,1: | 6 |
| 11 | PLMD:An updated data resource of protein lysine modifications显示文摘Post-translational modifications(PTMs) occurring at protein lysine residues,or protein lysine modifications(PLMs),play critical roles in regulating biological processes.Due to the explosive expansion of the amount of PLM substrates and the discovery of novel PLM types,here we greatly updated our previous studies,and presented a much more integrative resource of protein lysine modification database(PLMD).In PLMD,we totally collected and integrated 284,780 modification events in 53,501 proteins across 176 eukaryotes and prokaryotes for up to 20 types of PLMs,including ubiquitination,acetylation,sumoylation,methylation,succinylation,malonylation,glutarylation,giycation,formylation,hydroxylation,butyrylation,propionylation,crotonylation,pupylation,neddylation,2-hydroxyisobutyrylation,phosphoglycerylation,carboxylation,lipoylation and biotinylation.Using the data set,a motif-based analysis was performed for each PLM type,and the results demonstrated that different PLM types preferentially recognize distinct sequence motifs for the modifications.Moreover,various PLMs synergistically orchestrate specific cellular biological processes by mutual crosstalks with each other,and we totally found 65,297 PLM events involved in 90 types of PLM co-occurrences on the same lysine residues.Finally,various options were provided for accessing the data,while original references and other annotations were also present for each PLM substrate.Taken together,we anticipated the PLMD database can serve as a useful resource for further researches of PLMs.PLMD 3.0 was implemented in PHP + MySQL and freely available at http://gffzz60b5e5c25d7e4f27hkuf5qfpqkqq56kuf.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn. | Haodong Xu Jiaqi Zhou Shaofeng Lin Wankun Deng Ying Zhang Yu Xue | 2017 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2017,44,5: | 6 |

| 13 | Tetra-alkylsulfonate functionalized poly(aryl ether) membranes with nanosized hydrophilic channels for efficient proton conduction显示文摘The microstructure of polymer electrolyte membranes plays a key role in ion conductivity and water transport.Herein,fluorinated poly(aryl ether)s with tetra-alkylsulfonate side chains(SFPAEs)have been successfully synthesized from the copolymerization of a newly developed tetra-allyl-containing bisphenol(TABP)monomer,followed by the thiol-ene addition with sodium 3-mercapto-1-propanesulfonate to attach the ionic groups at the end of the flexible chains.Being the first of its kind,the densely distributed and lengthy alkylsulfonate group possesses the benefit of ease to self-assemble into hydrophilic domains during membrane preparation via solution casting.Indeed,the TEM characterizations revealed that distinct hydrophilic channels of 1-2 nm width had been formed,much larger than those of a home-made control sample where only di-alkylsulfonate side chains were attached.The SFPAE-4-45 with an IECw of 2.0 mmol g^-1 exhibited an enhanced proton conductivity of 143.7 m S cm^-1 at room temperature,which was superior to that of Nafion 212(91.0 m S cm^-1).Furthermore,the oxidative stabilities of SFPAEs were significantly higher than those of non-fluorinated analogs in literature.This study offered a new route to engineering the pendent structure of ionomers for well-defined microscopic morphologies. | Lijun Zhou Junyang Zhu Meijin Lin Jiaqi Xu Zailai Xie Dongyang Chen | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,1: | 4 |
| 14 | Phylogenetic diversity stabilizes community biomass显示文摘Aims The relationship between biodiversity and ecological stability is a long-standing issue in ecology.Current diversity–stability studies,which have largely focused on species diversity,often report an increase in the stability of aggregate community properties with increasing species diversity.Few studies have examined the linkage between phylogenetic diversity,another important dimension of biodiversity,and stability.By taking species evolutionary history into account,phylogenetic diversity may better capture the diversity of traits and niches of species in a community than species diversity and better relate to temporal stability.In this study,we investigated whether phylogenetic diversity could affect temporal stability of community biomass independent of species diversity.Methods We performed an experiment in laboratory microcosms with a pool of 12 bacterivorous ciliated protist species.To eliminate the possibility of species diversity effects confounding with phylogenetic diversity effects,we assembled communities that had the same number of species but varied in the level of phylogenetic diversity.Weekly disturbance,in the form of short-term temperature shock,was imposed on each microcosm and species abundances were monitored over time.We examined the relationship between temporal stability of community biomass and phylogenetic diversity and evaluated the role of several stabilizing mechanisms for explaining the influence of phylogenetic diversity on temporal stability.Important Findings Our results showed that increasing phylogenetic diversity promoted temporal stability of community biomass.Both total community biomass and summed variances showed a U-shaped relationship with phylogenetic diversity,driven by the presence of large,competitively superior species that attained large biomass and high temporal variation in their biomass in both low and high phylogenetic diversity communities.Communities without these species showed patterns consistent with the reduced strength of competition and increasingly asynchronous species responses to environmental changes under higher phylogenetic diversity,two mechanisms that can drive positive diversity–stability relationships.These results support the utility of species phylogenetic knowledge for predicting ecosystem functions and their stability. | Zhichao Pu Poonim Daya Jiaqi Tan Lin Jiang | 2014 | Journal of Plant Ecology2014,7,2: | 4 |

The results show that the zero solution of the linear equation is a stable focus point, which is the path curve trend origin point as time (t) trend to infinity. By using the homotopic mapping perturbation method, the exact solution of the model is obtained. The homotopic mapping perturbation method is an analytic solving method, so the obtained solution can be used for analytic operating sequentially. | 17 | Studies on the Effects of the Immunosuppressant FK-506 on the High-risk Corneal Graft Rejection显示文摘Purpose: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of FK-506 on suppressing high-risk cornea transplantation rejection.Methods: In a randomized controlled clinical trial, 56 eyes of 56 patients with high-risk keratoplasty (including total corneal transplantation TCT, total corneal transplantation with circular lamellar sclera CST, vascularization corneal transplantation and corneal retransplantation) were divided into the experimental group and the control group(each with 28 eyes).The experimental group was treated by FK-506 eyedrops (0.5 mg/ml) and TobraDex eyedrops, compared with the control group that was treated by 1% CsA eyedrops and TobraDex eyedrops. In the average 8.1-month follow-up period, the visual acuity, graft transparent duration and Rejection Index (RI) of grafts were observed. | 20 | Influence of hydraulic retention time on behavior of antibiotics and antibiotic resistance genes in aerobic granular reactor treating biogas slurry显示文摘The behavior of antibiotics and the corresponding resistance genes in aerobic granular reactors for treating biogas slurry under different hydraulic retention times (10.7 h, Rl;8 h, R2) was investigated in this study. The results indicated that the hydraulic retention time could affect the effluent concentrations and removal efficiencies of sulfonamides. The average removal rates of tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, and sulfonamides were 63%, 46%, and 90% in Rl, and 62%, 46%, and 86% in R2, respectively. Although the removal efficiencies of tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones were similar in both reactors, the respective accumulated concentrations of tetracyclines and fluoroquinolones in R1 were 7.00 and 11.15μg/g SS, which were lower than those in R2 (8.92 and 13.37μg/g SS, respectively). The difference in the relative abundance of target antibiotic resistance genes between both reactors was not significant, yet the average relative abundances of all target resistance genes in R1 were higher than those in R2 after 45 days of operation.
