4A modal analysis for the acoustic radiation problems,I. Theory显示文摘For the acoustic radiation problems from a complex vibrating body surface, a modal analysis approach is put forward. All the normal vibration velocities on a vibrating surface form the Hilbert space. In the Hilbert space, an operator is defined, which includes the radiation property of the vibrating surface and is linear, self-adjoint and positive. Using the operator, a set of basis functions in the Hilbert space are obtained, which describe the radiation patterns and are called the radiation modes. Based on the radiation modes, a set of basis functions of the radiation field are obtained by the Helmholtz simple layer potentials, which describe the distribution patterns of the radiation field and are called the field distribution modes. The radiation behavior can be expressed by expansions of the radiation modes and the field distribution modes. 5Arabidopsis ABCG14 forms a homodimeric transporter for multiple cytokinins and mediates long-distance transport of isopentenyladeninetype cytokinins显示文摘Cytokinins(CKs),primarily trans-zeatin(tZ)and isopentenyladenine(iP)types,play critical roles in plant growth,development,and various stress responses.Long-distance transport of tZ-type CKs meidated by Arabidopsis ATP-binding cassette transporter subfamily G14(AtABCG14)has been well studied;however,less is known about the biochemical properties of AtABCG14 and its transporter activity toward iP-type CKs.Here we reveal the biochemical properties of AtABCG14 and provide evidence that it is also required for long-distance transport of iP-type CKs.AtABCG14 formed homodimers in human(Homo sapiens)HEK293T,tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum),and Arabidopsis cells.Transporter activity assays of AtABCG14 in Arabidopsis,tobacco,and yeast(Saccharomyces cerevisiae)showed that AtABCG14 may directly transport multiple CKs,including iP-and tZ-type species.AtABCG14 expression was induced by iP in a tZ-type CKdeficient double mutant(cypDM)of CYP735A1 and CYP735A2.The atabcg14 cypDM triple mutant exhibited stronger CK-deficiency phenotypes than cypDM.Hormone profiling,reciprocal grafting,and 2H6-iP isotope tracer experiments showed that root-to-shoot and shoot-to-root long-distance transport of iP-type CKs were suppressed in atabcg14 cypDM and atabcg14.These results suggest that AtABCG14 participates in three steps of the circular long-distance transport of iP-type CKs:xylem loading in the root for shootward transport,phloem unloading in the shoot for shoot distribution,and phloemunloading in the root for root distribution.We found that AtABCG14 displays transporter activity toward multiple CK species and revealed its versatile roles in circular long-distance transport of iP-type CKs.These findings provide newinsights into the transport mechanisms of CKs and other plant hormones.Jiangzhe Zhao Xiaojuan Deng Jiayun Qian Ting Liu Min Ju Juan Li Qin Yang Xiaoxian Zhu Weiqiang Li Chang-Jun Liu Zhigang Jin Kewei Zhang 2023Plant Communications2023,4,2:0
6A modal analysis for the acoustic radiation problems, Ⅱ. Examples显示文摘The acoustic radiation modes and the field distribution modes describe the radiation patterns of a complex vibrating surface and the field distribution patterns respectively. The physical meanings of the acoustic radiation modes and the field distribution modes are revealed by numerical method. For a sphere body, a spinning body and a rectangular body, the geometrical patterns of the acoustic radiation modes and the field distribution modes are given. The radiation mode 1 represents the radiation behavior of a monopole radiator, the radiation modes 2 through 4 represent the radiation behavior of dipole radiators respectively, and the radiation modes 5 through 9 represent the radiation behavior of quadrapole radiators respectively. 7GP30 of the mycobacteriophage CASbig impairs mycobacterial adaptation during acidic stress and in macrophages显示文摘The rapid emergence of multidrug-resistant and extensively drug-resistant Tuberculosis retrieved intense interest in phage-based therapy.This old approach,which was abandoned in the west in the 1940s but is generating renewed interest,has stimulated fresh research on mycobacteriophages and their lytic efficiency against their hosts.GP30 is a novel protein of the mycobacteriophage CASbig with undiscovered function.In this study,we analyzed the role of CASbig gp30 in the host Mycobacterium smegmatis.Overexpression of gp30 in the host led to reduced growth in acidic medium and attenuated the intracellular survival rate of M.smegmatis inside the THP-1 macrophages,which may be linked to the altered lipid profile of the recombinant bacterial cell wall.In a word,this study suggested that gp30,a novel gene from a mycobacteriophage,modulated lipid composition and content to hamper the survivability of bacteria under stress conditions.WU LI JIANGZHE SI SHUAI QIU JING LUO HUIQIONG SUN XIAOQING LI ZHIBIN WAN WEI GAO HANLU ZOU LEI ZHANG XIAOHONG XIANG YANZHANG LI TIESHAN TENG 2020BIOCELL2020,44,4:0
8Reducing power grid cascading failure propagation by minimizing algebraic connectivity in edge addition显示文摘Analyzing network robustness under various circumstances is generally regarded as a challenging problem.Robustness against failure is one of the essential properties of large-scale dynamic network systems such as power grids,transportation systems,communication systems,and computer networks.Due to the network diversity and complexity,many topological features have been proposed to capture specific system properties.For power grids,a popular process for improving a network’s structural robustness is via the topology design.However,most of existing methods focus on localized network metrics,such as node connectivity and edge connectivity,which do not encompass a global perspective of cascading propagation in a power grid.In this paper,we use an informative global metric algebraic connectivity because it is sensitive to the connectedness in a broader spectrum of graphs.Our process involves decreasing the average propagation in a power grid by minimizing the increase in its algebraic connectivity.We propose a topology-based greedy strategy to optimize the robustness of the power grid.To evaluate the network robustness,we calculate the average propagation using MATCASC to simulate cascading line outages in power grids.Experimental results illustrate that our proposed method outperforms existing techniques.Supaporn LONAPALAWONG Jiangzhe YAN Jiayu LI Deshi YE Wei CHEN Yong TANG Yanhao HUANG Can WANG 2022Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2022,23,3:0
