1Preparation of Fish Scales Hydroxyapatite (FsHAp) for Potential Use as Fillers in Polymer显示文摘The aims of this study were to prepare natural hydroxyapatite from fish scales(FsHAp)for potential use as a filler in polymer.The FsHAp was prepared from Tilapia fish scales using thermal method.The FsHAp was milled for 48 h and dried by spray method.The morphology was characterized using field emission scanning electron microscope(FESEM)which showed irregular shape of FsHAp particles with particle size around 7μm.The analysis of FsHAp was carried out using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and X-ray diffraction(XRD)to confirm chemical structure of FsHAp.Alhussein Arkan Majhooll Ismail Zainol Che Nor Aiza Jaafar Mustafa Mudhafar Alsailawi H.A. 5Catalysis Deoxygenation for Renewable Fuel from Edible and Non-Edible Oil显示文摘The critical problem arises from the fossil fuels which has stimulated recent interests in alternative sources for petroleum-based fuel.An alternative fuel should be technically feasible,readily available,environment acceptable and techno-economically competitive.The new generation of renewable fuel is known as green diesel.Green diesel is composed of long chain hydrocarbons that can be prepared from DO(deoxygenation)of palm oil.The feedstock used for the production of green diesel mainly comes from edible vegetable oil which is highly available in most of the countries around the world.However,the compotation between food and fuel economies towards the same oil resources may bring global imbalance to the food supply and demand market.The focus on this research is to produce green diesel using edible feedstock via heterogeneous catalysed DO reaction.Fouad Warid Ismail Zainol Nada Mabbass Nurulsaidah Rahim Alhussen Arkan Majhool 2020Journal of US-China Medical Science2020,17,5:0
