| 1 | Dual-specificity phosphatase 6(DUSP6): a review of its molecular characteristics and clinical relevance in cancer显示文摘Mitogen-activated protein kinases(MAPKs) are the main regulators of cellular proliferation, growth, and survival in physiological or pathological conditions. Aberrant MAPK signaling plays a pivotal role in carcinogenesis, which leads to development and progression of human cancer. Dual-specificity phosphatase 6(DUSP6), a member of the MAPK phosphatase family, interacts with specifically targeted extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 via negative feedback regulation in the MAPK pathway of mammalian cells. This phosphatase functions in a dual manner, pro-oncogenic or tumor-suppressive, depending on the type of cancer. To date, the tumor-suppressive role of DUSP6 has been demonstrated in pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, esophageal squamous cell and nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and ovarian cancer. Its pro-oncogenic role has been observed in human glioblastoma, thyroid carcinoma, breast cancer, and acute myeloid carcinoma. Both roles of DUSP6 have been documented in malignant melanoma depending on the histological subtype of the cancer. Loss-or gain-of-function effects of DUSP6 in these cancers highlights the significance of this phosphatase in carcinogenesis. Development of methods that use the DUSP6 gene as a therapeutic target for cancer treatment or as a prognostic factor for diagnosis and evaluation of cancer treatment outcome has great potential. | 15 | Characteristics,causality,and suicidal behavior:a qualitative study of family members with suicide history in Wonogiri,Indonesia显示文摘Objective:This study explored the characteristics,causality,and suicidal behavior among family members with suicide history in Wonogiri,Central Java,Indonesia.Methods:Qualitative semistructured interviews were conducted with 15 family members who had made suicide attempts.The interviews directly explored the relationships among characteristics,causality,and suicidal behavior.The research data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach.Results:The results indicate that there are relationships among characteristics,causality,and suicidal behaviors.The characteristics contributing to suicide attempts were male gender,age(adolescence and old age),lack of religious activities,introvert nature,low economic status,chronic diseases,unemployment,and a history of family members with suicide attempts.The causality of suicide was joblessness,economic crisis,unemployment,family conditions,personality disorder,depression,sickness,and suicide ideation.Conclusions:The findings highlight the relationships among characteristics,causality,and suicidal behaviors.Suicide occurs when individuals have some problems that they cannot solve because of the lack of family support.The causal factors were related to one another,which caused the suicidal behavior.One of the most effective suicide prevention strategies is educating the community on how to identify suicidal signs and increase social supports. | Susana Nurtanti Sri Handayani Nita Yunianti Ratnasari Putri Halimu Husna Tantut Susanto | 2020 | Frontiers of Nursing2020,7,2: | 0 |
| 16 | The potential of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi to conserve Kalappia celebica,an endangered endemic legume on gold mine tailings in Sulawesi,Indonesia显示文摘Kalapi(Kalappia celebica)is an endemic legume of Sulawesi and has been included in the endangered category since the early 1980s.Conservation of the species is possible through ex situ culture techniques.Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)can accelerate plant growth which in turn supports the conservation of endangered species.This study aimed to assess the efficacy of local AMF to accelerate the growth of kalapi and increase nutrient uptake in kalapi grown in gold mine tailing media.There were three AMF treatments,Glomus claroideum,Glomus coronatum,and a mixture of both,plus the control.Each treatment was replicated three times,each consisting of five plants.The results show that the highest AMF colony was obtained by kalapi seedlings inoculated with Glomus coronatum and the mixture of AMF.The range of mycorrhizae inoculation effect values was 59.7–71.3%.AMF inoculation increased growth and dry weight of 4-month-old seedlings compared to controls.Dry and total weights of kalapi inoculated with G.coronatum were significantly different from those inoculated with the AMF mixture.However,they are not significantly different from kalapi inoculated with G.claroideum.The results also show that AMF increased nitrogen and phosphorous uptake by the roots,as well as nitrogen,phosphorous,potassium,manganese and iron by the shoots.All AMF treatments decreased potassium uptake in the roots,except in kalapi inoculated with G.coronatum.The AMF mixture decreased iron contents the roots by 15%.AMF can be developed into biofertilizer to support the conservation of kalapi in tropical Indonesia. | Husna Faisal Danu Tuheteru Asrianti Arif | 2021 | Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,2: | 0 |

| 20 | Adherence to medication behavior among tuberculosis patients and their affecting factors:a cross-sectional study at Public Health Center of Wonogiri District, Indonesia显示文摘Objective:This study aimed to identify the influence of predisposing,enabling,and reinforcing factors and the adherence to medication behavior among tuberculosis patients in Selogiri Wonogiri Public Health Center.Methods:This study employed a descriptive cross-sectional research design.A questionnaire was used to collect primary data.Secondary data were obtained from patient treatment cards(Form TB 01).This research was carried out at Selogiri Health Center from November to December 2017.The participants were patients,both new and old patients,who had completed their treatment in the last 2 months or more,recorded from January 2016 to December 2017.A total sampling technique was used in this study.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influence of predisposing,enabling,and reinforcing factors and the adherence to medication among tuberculosis patients.Results:The results of logistic regression analysis indicated that there were four independent variables that have a significant relationship with treatment variables,namely education(odds ratio(OR)=0.025;95%confidence interval(CI)=0.001-0.039);knowledge(OR=3.37;95%CI=0.19-57.71);type of drug(OR=0.448;95%CI=0.012-16.07),and means of transportation(OR=25.77;95%CI=1.33-500.47).Conclusions:Education,knowledge,type of drug,and means of transportation influence medication compliance among tuberculosis patients.Therefore,supporting patients during medication program of tuberculosis is needed to improve their adherence medication during multidrug therapy. | Nita Yunianti Ratnasari Putri Halimu Husna Marni Marni Susana Nurtanti Tantut Susanto | 2020 | Frontiers of Nursing2020,7,3: | 0 |
