1Plasma Nesfatin-1 concentration and its correlation with HPA axis in depression model rats显示文摘Objective To explore plasma Nesfatin-1 concentration and its correlation with hypothalamic pituitary adrenal(HPA) axis in depression model rats. Methods Twelve SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group(NCG) and depression model group(DMG). DMG received 5 consecutive weeks of 7 different chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS). The behavior of rats was evaluated by an open field test,sucrose preference test,and forced swimming test(FST). The concentration of plasma corticosterone and Nesfatin-1 were measured with an enzyme-linked immuno-sorbent assay(ELISA). Results Compared with NCG,DMG had a lower weight gain,lower index of sucrose preference and spent longer time being immobile in FST while all of these differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The plasma concentrations of corticosterone and Nesfatin-1 were significantly higher in DMG than in theN CG(P<0.05). The plasma concentration of Nesfatin-1in DMG was positively correlated with the plasma corticosterone concentration. 2Use of catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) for pretreatment of high-salinity high-organic wastewater显示文摘Catalytic wet air oxidation(CWAO)coupled desalination technology provides a possibility for the effective and economic degradation of high salinity and high organic wastewater.Chloride widely occurs in natural and wastewaters,and its high content jeopardizes the efficacy of Advanced oxidation process(AOPs).Thus,a novel chlorine ion resistant catalyst Bsite Ru doped LaFe_(1-x)Ru_(x)O_(3-)δin CWAO treatment of chlorine ion wastewater was examined.Especially,LaFe_(0.85)Ru_(0.15)O_(3-δ)was 45.5% better than that of the 6%RuO_(2)@TiO_(2)(commercial carrier)on total organic carbon(TOC)removal.Also,doped catalysts LaFe_(1-x)Ru_(x)O_(3-)δshowed better activity than supported catalysts RuO_(2)@LaFeO_(3) and RuO_(2)@TiO_(2) with the same Ru content.Moreover,LaFe_(0.85)Ru_(0.15)O_(3-)δhas novel chlorine ion resistance no matter the concentration of Cl^(−) and no Ru dissolves after the reaction.X-ray diffraction(XRD)refinement,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),transmission electron microscope(TEM),and X-ray absorption fine structure(XAFS)measurements verified the structure of LaFe_(0.85)Ru_(0.15)O_(3-)δ.Kinetic data and density functional theory(DFT)proved that Fe is the site of acetic acid oxidation and adsorption of chloride ions.The existence of Fe in LaFe_(0.85)Ru_(0.15)O_(3-)δcould adsorb chlorine ion(catalytic activity inhibitor),which can protect the Ru site and other active oxygen species to exert catalytic activity.This work is essential for the development of chloride-resistant catalyst in CWAO.Wenjing Sun Hongxia Lv Lei Ma Xiangdong Tan Chengyu Jin Huiling Wu Lili Chen Mengyang Liu Huangzhao Wei Chenglin Sun 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,10:4

6Regularity of Nitrogen Accumulation in Soybean and Its Simulation显示文摘Nitrogen(N) is considered as an important yield and quality-determining factor in soybean production.The objective of the current experiment was to determine the regularity of N accumulation and its simulation among different varieties.This work was conducted with frame tests(pot without bottom),and three cultivars,HH41,SN14,HN40,and one feed soybean variety MSD was used as materials.The results showed that the regularity of N accumulation in four varieties with the same tendency increased during the whole growth period,which was up to the maximum when the plant was harvested.The longer growth period was,the higher N accumulation of cultivars was,HN40>SN14>HH41,N accumulation of MSD was the highest because of the property for feed soybean.Regularity of N accumulation in plants could be accurately described by the Logistic equation.During the growth there was a period when N accumulation in the whole plant occurred at an intense rate.The time of onset and its duration varied with different varieties.The maximum daily N accumulation was on seed filling stage,pod bearing stage,seed filling stage and pod bearing stage in HH41,SN14,HN40 and MSD,respectively.YAO Yubo JIN Xijun DI Wei GE Huiling MA Chunmei GONG Zhenping 2011Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2011,18,1:2
7Effects of five heavy metals at sub-lethal concentrations on the growth and photosynthesis of Chlorella vulgaris显示文摘The impact of sub-lethal concentrations(0.05,0.5,5 μmol L 1) of the heavy metals copper(Cu),chromium(Cr),zinc(Zn),cadmium(Cd) and lead(Pb) on the growth and photosynthesis of Chlorella vulgaris was studied during 96 h exposure experiments.The results showed that the effects of these five metals on the growth of Chlorella vulgaris were dependent on both concentration and exposure time.It was found that 5 μmol L 1 treatments of Cu,Cr,Zn,Cd and Pb significantly inhibited the growth of Chlorella vulgaris,and the effect became weaker with an increase in exposure duration.Different effects on chlorophyll fluorescence were found for different metals,with Cu and Cr having an inhibiting effect and Zn and Cd having a promoting effect.The effects of heavy metals upon the growth and photosynthesis of Chlorella vulgaris were independent of each other and not causally related.OUYANG HuiLing KONG XiangZhen HE Wei QIN Ning HE QiShuang WANG Yan WANG Rong XU FuLiu 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,25:2

10Alleviating experimental pulmonary hypertension via co-delivering FoxO1 stimulus and apoptosis activator to hyperproliferating pulmonary arteries显示文摘Pulmonary hypertension(PH)is an insidious pulmonary vasculopathy with high mortality and morbidity and its underlying pathogenesis is still poorly delineated.The hyperproliferation and apoptosis resistance of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells(PASMCs)contributes to pulmonary vascular remodeling in pulmonary hypertension,which is closely linked to the downregulation of forkhead box transcriptional factor O1(FoxO1)and apoptotic protein caspase 3(Cas-3).Here,PA-targeted co-delivery of a FoxO1 stimulus(paclitaxel,PTX)and Cas-3 was exploited to alleviate monocrotaline-induced pulmonary hypertension.The co-delivery system is prepared by loading the active protein on paclitaxel-crystal nanoparticles,followed by a glucuronic acid coating to target the glucose transporter-1 on the PASMCs.The co-loaded system(170 nm)circulates in the blood over time,accumulates in the lung,effectively targets the PAs,and profoundly regresses the remodeling of pulmonary arteries and improves hemodynamics,leading to a decrease in pulmonary arterial pressure and Fulton's index.Our mechanistic studies suggest that the targeted co-delivery system alleviates experimental pulmonary hypertension primarily via the regression of PASMC proliferation by inhibiting cell cycle progression and promoting apoptosis.Taken together,this targeted co-delivery approach offers a promising avenue to target PAs and cure the intractable vasculopathy in pulmonary hypertension.Bingbing Li Chao Teng Huiling Yu Xiaohong Jiang Xuyang Xing Qi Jiang Chenshi Lin Zongmin Zhao Ruifeng Zhang Wei He 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,6:1

15The Chinese herbal formula Tongluo Jiunao promotes expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor/tropomyosin-related kinase B pathways in a rat model of ischemic brain injury显示文摘The neurotrophin-Trk receptor pathway is an intrinsic pathway to relieve damage to the central nervous system. The present study observed the effects of Tongluo Jiunao (TLJN), which comprises Panax Notoginseng and Gardenia Jasminoides, on expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and tropomyosin-related kinase B (TrkB) in a rat model of focal cerebral ischemic injury. Xue Sai Tong (XST), comprising Panax Notoginseng, served as the positive control. Mechanisms of neuroprotection were analyzed following TLJN injection. Following establishment of the middle cerebral artery occlusion models, TLJN and XST were intraperitoneally injected, and 2, 3, 5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining results revealed that TLJN injection reduced infarct volume, suggesting that TLJN exerted a neuroprotective effect. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay results showed that TLJN elevated BDNF and growth associated protein-43 expression in ischemic brain tissues, as well as serum BDNF levels. Reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction and western blot results showed that TLJN injection did not affect TrkB expression in the ischemic brain tissues of rats. These results suggested that TLJN injection reduced damage to ischemic brain tissues and increased BDNF expression. 16Method of Time Series Similarity Measurement Based on Dynamic Time Warping显示文摘With the rapid development of mobile communication all over the world,the similarity of mobile phone communication data has received widely attention due to its advantage for the construction of smart cities.Mobile phone communication data can be regarded as a type of time series and dynamic time warping(DTW)and derivative dynamic time warping(DDTW)are usually used to analyze the similarity of these data.However,many traditional methods only calculate the distance between time series while neglecting the shape characteristics of time series.In this paper,a novel hybrid method based on the combination of dynamic time warping and derivative dynamic time warping is proposed.The new method considers not only the distance between time series,but also the shape characteristics of time series.We demonstrated that our method can outperform DTW and DDTW through extensive experiments with respect to cophenetic correlation.Lianggui Liu Wei Li Huiling Jia 2018Computers, Materials & Continua2018,,10:1

18Recent advances in solar-driven CO_(2) reduction over g-C_(3)N_(4)-based photocatalysts显示文摘The persistent increase of CO_(2) levels in the atmosphere,already exceeding 400 ppm,urges the exploration of CO_(2) emission reduction and recycling technologies.Ideally,photocatalytic conversion of CO_(2) into valuable hydrocarbons realizes solar-to-chemical energy conversion,which is a desirable“kill two birds with one stone”strategy;namely,CO_(2) photoreduction can simultaneously tackle energy shortage and keep global carbon balance.Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))working on CO_(2) reduction reaction deserves a highlight not only for the metal-free feature that endows it with low cost,tunable electronic structure,and easy fabrication properties but also because of its strong reduction ability.The present review concisely summarizes the latest advances of g-C_(3)N_(4)-based photocatalysts toward CO_(2) reduction.It starts with the discussion of thermodynamics and dynamics aspects of the CO_(2) reduction process.Then the modification strategies to promote g-C_(3)N_(4)-based photocatalysts in CO_(2) photoreduction have been discussed in detail,including surface functionalization,molecule structure engineering,crystallization,morphology engineering,loading cocatalyst,and constructing heterojunction.Meanwhile,the intrinsic factors affecting CO_(2) reduction activity and selectivity are analyzed and summarized.In the end,the challenges and prospects for the future development of highly g-C_(3)N_(4)-based photocatalysts in CO_(2) reduction are also presented.Quanlong Xu Zhihua Xia Jingmei Zhang Zhiyi Wei Qin Guo Huile Jin Hua Tang Shouzhu Li Xuecong Pan Zhi Su Shun Wang 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,2:1
19Low-velocity resistance distortion and bionic drag reduction for ship-type paddy field machinery显示文摘The resistance between mud surface and ship-type paddy field machine hull accounts for a certain proportion of the total mechanical power consumption during the operation process.The special characteristic has been found via preliminary study,it showed that when starting or working at low velocity,the resistance is much greater than the machine working at the rated velocity.This characteristic affects the dynamic matching and structural design of the machine.The critical velocity of resistance distortion was around 0.025 m/s under the setting experimental conditions,and the mechanism of resistance distortion under multi-medium was analyzed.Based on water film drag reduction theory,a macroscopic structure of crocodile's abdominal armor biomimetic drag reduction method was proposed.Two kinds of bionic macroscopic structure ship board were fabricated.The macroscopic structure can introduce more water into the bottom surface of the hull;thicken the water film,which can reduce the travel resistance.Design and manufacture a ship-type paddy field experimental setup with velocity control,and compare the traditional smooth surface ship board with the two bionic macroscopic structure surfaces through orthogonal test.The experiment results demonstrated that the ship board with rectangle gully structure has better drag reduction effect than the hexagon one in the lower velocity.But when the travel velocity approach to the resistance distortion critical point,the hexagon gully structure become better than the other one.Through the orthogonal test,the best drag reduction combination is 2.5 kg load weight,0.025 m/s travel velocity with hexagon ship board,which decreases the drag by 6.3%.Guoqi Yan Peng Tian Jiasi Mo Heng Xie Huiling Wei 2020International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,2:1
20El Ni?o/Southern Oscillation during the 4.2 ka event recorded by growth rates of corals from the North South China Sea显示文摘The 4.2 ka event that occurred during the period from 4 500–3 900 a BP was characterized by cold and dry climates and resulted in the collapse of civilizations around the world. The cause of this climatic event, however, has been under debate. We collected four corals(Porites lutea) from Yongxing Island, Xisha Islands, South China Sea, dated them with the U-series method, and measured the annual coral growth rates using X-ray technology. The dating results showed that the coral growth ages were from 4 500–3 900 a BP, which coincide well with the period of the4.2 ka event. We then reconstructed annual sea surface temperature anomaly(SSTA) variations based on the coral growth rates. The growth rate-based SSTA results showed that the interdecadal SSTA from 4 500–3 900 a BP was lower than that during modern times(1961–2008 AD). A spectral analysis showed that the SSTA variations from4 500–3 900 a BP were under the influence of El Nino-Southern Oscillation(ENSO) activities. From 4 500–4 100 a BP, the climate exhibited La Nina-like conditions with weak ENSO intensity and relatively stable and lower SSTA amplitudes. From 4 100–3 900 a BP, the climate underwent a complicated period of ENSO variability and showed alternating El Nino-or La Nina-like conditions at interdecadal time scales and large SSTA amplitudes. We speculate that during the early and middle stages of the 4.2 ka event, the cold climate caused by weak ENSO activities largely weakened social productivity. Then, during the end stages of the 4.2 ka event, the repeated fluctuations in the ENSO intensity caused frequent extreme weather events, resulting in the collapse of civilizations worldwide.
