| 1 | Genetic Mechanism of Dolomitization in Fengcheng Formation in the Wu-Xia area of Junggar Basin,China显示文摘The dolomitic rocks of the Fengcheng Formation are considered to be formed under special geologic conditions,and are significant hydrocarbon reservoir rocks in the Wu-Xia area in the Junggar Basin.Analyses of petrologic characteristics and stable isotope composition indicate that the dolomitizing host rock is volcanic and the dolomitizing fluids probably consists of brine from shore-shallow lakes with great evaporation and salinity in the Fengcheng Formation,which have formed under arid climatic conditions,as well as residual Mg-rich seawater from the underlying Jiamuhe Formation and Carboniferous.Dust tuff in the area has significant plagioclase content.Anorthite and labradorite hydrolysis by CO2 can be coupled with calcite precipitation.Late Mg-rich brine percolated and replaced calcite formed in the early time,which lead to precipitate dolostones with different occurrences,such as graniphyric,random bedded or lumpy.The diagenetic dolostones with different occurrences resulting from particular formation conditions occurred in different tectonic settings.The dolomitizing fluid has been driven by the thermal convection flow generated by volcanic eruptions.At the same time,the overthrusts of the Wu-Xia growth fault have speeded up the flow of deep Mg-rich water upwards,and induced the water to quickly penetrate and horizontally migrate in the strata.Fracture is the major and the most important reservoir space in dolomitic reservoir of the Fengcheng Formation.Fracture and fault plays a decisive role in controlling the formation of dolostone and the distribution of favorable reservoirs.The deliverability of oil and gas is determined by the development and match relations of dissolved pores and fractures to a certain degree. | ZHU Shifa ZHU Xiaomin NIU Huapeng HAN Xuefang ZHANG Yueqian YOU Xincai | 2012 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,2: | 12 |
| 2 | Monitoring urban land cover and vegetation change by multi-temporal remote sensing information显示文摘In order to analyze changes in human settlement in Xuzhou city during the past 20 years, changes in land cover and vegetation were investigated based on multi-temporal remote sensing Landsat TM images. We developed a hierarchical classifier system that uses different feature inputs for specific classes and conducted a classification post-processing approach to improve its accuracy. From our statistical analysis of changes in urban land cover from 1987 to 2007, we conclude that built-up land areas have obviously increased, while farmland has seen in a continuous loss due to urban growth and human activities. A NDVI difference approach was used to extract information on changes in vegetation. A false change information elimination approach was developed based on prior knowledge and statistical analysis. The areas of vegetation cover have been in continuous decline over the past 20 years, although some measures have been adopted to protect and maintain urban vegetation. | 4 | Cylindrical vector beam multiplexer/demultiplexer using off-axis polarization control显示文摘The emergence of cylindrical vector beam(CVB)multiplexing has opened new avenues for high-capacity optical communication.Although several configurations have been developed to couple/separate CVBs,the CVB multiplexer/demultiplexer remains elusive due to lack of effective off-axis polarization control technologies.Here we report a straightforward approach to realize off-axis polarization control for CVB multiplexing/demultiplexing based on a metal–dielectric–metal metasurface.We show that the left-and right-handed circularly polarized(LHCP/RHCP)components of CVBs are independently modulated via spin-to-orbit interactions by the properly designed metasurface,and then simultaneously multiplexed and demultiplexed due to the reversibility of light path and the conservation of vector mode.We also show that the proposed multiplexers/demultiplexers are broadband(from 1310 to 1625 nm)and compatible with wavelength-division-multiplexing.As a proof of concept,we successfully demonstrate a four-channel CVB multiplexing communication,combining wavelength-division-multiplexing and polarization-division-multiplexing with a transmission rate of 1.56 Tbit/s and a bit-error-rate of 10^(−6) at the receive power of−21.6 dBm.This study paves the way for CVB multiplexing/demultiplexing and may benefit high-capacity CVB communication. | Shuqing Chen Zhiqiang Xie Huapeng Ye Xinrou Wang Zhenghao Guo Yanliang He Ying Li Xiaocong Yuan Dianyuan Fan | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,12: | 6 |

| 6 | Orbital angular momentum mode logical operation using optical diffractive neural network显示文摘Optical logical operations demonstrate the key role of optical digital computing,which can perform general-purpose calculations and possess fast processing speed,low crosstalk,and high throughput.The logic states usually refer to linear momentums that are distinguished by intensity distributions,which blur the discrimination boundary and limit its sustainable applications.Here,we introduce orbital angular momentum(OAM)mode logical operations performed by optical diffractive neural networks(ODNNs).Using the OAM mode as a logic state not only can improve the parallel processing ability but also enhance the logic distinction and robustness of logical gates owing to the mode infinity and orthogonality.ODNN combining scalar diffraction theory and deep learning technology is designed to independently manipulate the mode and spatial position of multiple OAM modes,which allows for complex multilight modulation functions to respond to logic inputs.We show that few-layer ODNNs successfully implement the logical operations of AND,OR,NOT,NAND,and NOR in simulations.The logic units of XNOR and XOR are obtained by cascading the basic logical gates of AND,OR,and NOT,which can further constitute logical half-adder gates.Our demonstrations may provide a new avenue for optical logical operations and are expected to promote the practical application of optical digital computing. | PEIPEI WANG WENJIE XIONG ZEBIN HUANG YANLIANG HE ZHIQIANG XIE JUNMIN LIU HUAPENG YE YING LI DIANYUAN FAN SHUQING CHEN | 2021 | Photonics Research2021,9,10: | 5 |

| 8 | Structural finite element model updating using incomplete ambient vibration modal data显示文摘This paper presents an effective approach for updating finite element dynamic model from incomplete modal data identified from ambient vibration measurements.The proposed method is based on the relationship between the perturbation of structural parameters such as stiffness and mass changes and the modal data measurements of the tested structure such as measured mode shape readings.Structural updating parameters including both stiffness and mass parameters are employed to represent the differences in structural parameters between the finite element model and the associated tested structure.These updating parameters are then evaluated by an iterative solution procedure,giving optimised solutions in the least squares sense without requiring an optimisation technique.In order to reduce the influence of modal measurement uncertainty,the truncated singular value decomposition regularization method incorporating the quasi-optimality criterion is employed to produce reliable solutions for the structural updating parameters.Finally,the numerical investigations of a space frame structure and the practical applications to the Canton Tower benchmark problem demonstrate that the proposed method can correctly update the given finite element model using the incomplete modal data identified from the recorded ambient vibration measurements. | CHEN HuaPeng TEE KongFah | 2014 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,9: | 4 |

| 12 | Effects of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index and Related Wavebands′ Characteristics on Detecting Spatial Heterogeneity Using Variogram-based Analysis显示文摘Spatial heterogeneity is widely used in diverse applications, such as recognizing ecological process, guiding ecological restoration, managing land use, etc. Many researches have focused on the inherent scale multiplicity of spatial heterogeneity by using various environmental variables. How these variables affect their corresponding spatial heterogeneities, however, have received little attention. In this paper, we examined the effects of characteristics of normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and its related bands variable images, namely red and near infrared (NIR), on their corresponding spatial heterogeneity detection based on variogram models. In a coastal wetland region, two groups of study sites with distinct fractal vegetation cover were tested and analyzed. The results show that: 1) in high fractal vegetation cover (H-FVC) area, NDVI and NIR variables display a similar ability in detecting the spatial heterogeneity caused by vegetation growing status structure; 2) in low fractal vegetation cover (L-FVC) area, the NIR and red variables outperform NDVI in the survey of soil spatial heterogeneity; and 3) generally, NIR variable is ubiquitously applicable for vegetation spatial heterogeneity investigation in different fractal vegetation covers. | 16 | Numerical simulation of groundwater under complex karst conditions and the prediction of roadway gushing in a coal mine:a case study in the Guang'an Longtan Reservoir in Sichuan Province, China显示文摘Numerical simulation of groundwater in karst areas has long been restricted by the difficulty of generalizing the hydrogeological conditions of reservoirs and of determining the relevant parameters due to the anisotropy and discontinuity of the karst water-bearing media in these areas. In this study, we used the Guang'an Longtan Coal mine in Sichuan as an example, and generalized the complex hydrogeological conditions in the reservoir area. A finite element numerical flow model was used to simulate current and future scenarios of roadway gushing at the bottom of the coal mine at pile number 1 + 700 m. The results show that the roadway section corresponding to valleys has a gushing quantity of 4323.8–4551.25 m^3/d before impoundment. Modeled water inflow after impoundment increased to 1.6 times the water inflow before impoundment, which threatens the impoundment as well as the roadway's normal operation. | 19 | Amplified spontaneous emission, optical waveguide and polarized emission based on 2,5-diaminoterephthalates显示文摘A series of 2,5-diaminoterephthalates with a simple structure were synthesized through one-step reaction, and their bar-shaped single crystals with a large size and a smooth surface have been obtained via the solvent-evaporation method. These crystals exhibit bright emission with fluorescence quantum yields higher than 0.2. They display the waveguide property, and low optical loss coefficients for waveguide have been determined for the crystal of one compound. In addition, the crystal can cause linear polarization of the light emitted from it, with a high polarization contrast of 0.70.
