| 1 | 锂离子动力电池热失控与安全管理研究综述显示文摘锂离子动力电池具有能量密度高、循环寿命长、无记忆效应等优点,被认为是最具前景的一类动力电池。随着整体能量密度的不断提高和制造成本的降低,以热失控为特征的锂离子动力电池安全事故频发,严重威胁着乘客的人身和财产安全。因此,以防止锂离子电池热失控为核心的研究成为近几年电动车辆研究领域的热点,同时,相关领域的发展也需要这样的综述类文章来的引领。从动力电池安全角度出发,对目前锂离子动力电池热失控研究现状进行综述,总结了最新研究成果。较为具体地阐明了热失控触发条件和发生机理,比较全面地总结了提高锂离子动力电池系统安全性的方法,以期促进先进锂离子动力电池系统安全管理方法与策略的开发,进而提高动力电池系统的安全性。填补了该领域缺少中文综述的空白。 | 朱晓庆 王震坡 WANG Hsin 王聪 | 2020 | 机械工程学报2020,56,14: | 74 |
| 2 | Overcharge-to-thermal-runaway behavior and safety assessment of commercial lithium-ion cells with different cathode materials:A comparison study显示文摘In this paper,overcharge behaviors and thermal runaway(TR)features of large format lithium-ion(Liion)cells with different cathode materials(LiFePO4(LFP),Li[Ni_(1/3)Co_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)]O_(2)(NCM111),Li[Ni_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)]O_(2)(NCM622)and Li[Ni_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)]O_(2)(NCM811))were investigated.The results showed that,under the same overcharge condition,the TR of LFP Li-ion cell occurred earlier compared with the NCM Li-ion cells,indicating its poor overcharge tolerance and high TR risk.However,when TR occurred,LFP Li-ion cell exhibited lower maximum temperature and mild TR response.All NCM Liion cells caught fire or exploded during TR,while the LFP Li-ion cell only released a large amount of smoke without fire.According to the overcharge behaviors and TR features,a safety assessment score system was proposed to evaluate the safety of the cells.In short,NCM Li-ion cells have better performance in energy density and overcharge tolerance(or low TR risk),while LFP Li-ion cell showed less severe response to overcharging(or less TR hazards).For NCM Li-ion cells,as the ratio of nickel in cathode material increases,the thermal stability of the cathode materials becomes poorer,and the TR hazards increase.Such a comparison study on large format Li-ion cells with different cathode materials can provide deeper insights into the overcharge behaviors and TR features,and provide guidance for engineers to reasonably choose battery materials in automotive applications. | Zhenpo Wang Jing Yuan Xiaoqing Zhu Hsin Wang Lvwei Huang Yituo Wang Shiqi Xu | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4: | 12 |

| 4 | Identification of Maximum Road Friction Coefficient and Optimal Slip Ratio Based on Road Type Recognition显示文摘The identification of maximum road friction coefficient and optimal slip ratio is crucial to vehicle dynamics and control.However,it is always not easy to identify the maximum road friction coefficient with high robustness and good adaptability to various vehicle operating conditions.The existing investigations on robust identification of maximum road friction coefficient are unsatisfactory.In this paper,an identification approach based on road type recognition is proposed for the robust identification of maximum road friction coefficient and optimal slip ratio.The instantaneous road friction coefficient is estimated through the recursive least square with a forgetting factor method based on the single wheel model,and the estimated road friction coefficient and slip ratio are grouped in a set of samples in a small time interval before the current time,which are updated with time progressing.The current road type is recognized by comparing the samples of the estimated road friction coefficient with the standard road friction coefficient of each typical road,and the minimum statistical error is used as the recognition principle to improve identification robustness.Once the road type is recognized,the maximum road friction coefficient and optimal slip ratio are determined.The numerical simulation tests are conducted on two typical road friction conditions(single-friction and joint-friction)by using CarSim software.The test results show that there is little identification error between the identified maximum road friction coefficient and the pre-set value in CarSim.The proposed identification method has good robustness performance to external disturbances and good adaptability to various vehicle operating conditions and road variations,and the identification results can be used for the adjustment of vehicle active safety control strategies. | GUAN Hsin WANG Bo LU Pingping XU Liang | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,5: | 8 |
| 5 | Arsenic trioxide alleviates airway hyperresponsiveness and eosinophilia in a murine model of asthma显示文摘Asthma is one of the most common chronic airway inflammatory diseases.The clinical hallmarks of asthma include elevated serum levels of immunoglobulin E(IgE),eosinophilic inflammation and airway hyper-responsiveness(AHR).Arsenic trioxide(As2O3)is considered a carcinogen;however,it has also been used to treat diseases,such as syphilis,in traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Today,As2O3 is used as one of the standard therapies for acute promyelocytic leukemia(APL).Previous studies have indicated that As2O3 can induce apoptosis in eosinophils.However,the effect of As2O3 on asthma has not been investigated.We used ovalbumin(OVA)-immunized mice as a model for asthma and treated mice with As2O3 at doses of 2.5 and 5 mg/kg.The mice were then monitored for OVA-specific IgE production,airway inflammatory cell infiltration and AHR.We found that administration of As2O3 in OVA-immunized mice abrogated airway eosinophil recruitment by downregulating eotaxin expression but did not alter serum IgE or IL-5 levels in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF).Furthermore,the development of AHR and cellular infiltration into the airway were reduced by treating mice with As2O3.In vitro data suggested that low concentrations of As2O3 could induce only a small degree of apoptosis in primary pulmonary cells but could significantly inhibit the secretion of eotaxin by these cells.These results indicate that the administration of As2O3 to OVA-immunized mice can suppress lung allergic inflammatory responses.As2O3 might therefore have therapeutic potential in treating allergic airway inflammatory diseases. | Kuan-Hua Chu Chen-Chen Lee Shao-Chi Hsin Bao-Chang Cai Jin-Hong Wang Bor-Luen Chiang | 2010 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2010,7,5: | 7 |
| 6 | Active steering control strategy for articulated vehicles显示文摘To improve maneuverability and stability of articulated vehicles, we design an active steering controller, including tractor and trailer controllers, based on linear quadratic regulator(LQR) theory. First, a three-degree-of-freedom(3-DOF) model of the tractor-trailer with steered trailer axles is built. The simulated annealing particle swarm optimization(SAPSO) algorithm is applied to identify the key parameters of the model under specified vehicle speed and steering wheel angle. Thus, the key parameters of the simplified model can be obtained according to the vehicle conditions using an online look-up table and interpolation. Simulation results show that vehicle parameter outputs of the simplified model and Truck Sim agree well, thus providing the ideal reference yaw rate for the controller. Then the active steering controller of the tractor and trailer based on LQR is designed to follow the desired yaw rate and minimize their side-slip angle of the center of gravity(CG) at the same time. Finally, simulation tests at both low speed and high speed are conducted based on the Truck Sim-Simulink program. The results show significant effects on the active steering controller on improving maneuverability at low speed and lateral stability at high speed for the articulated vehicle. | 9 | Novel Evaluation Method of Vehicle Suspension Performance Based on Concept of Wheel Turn Center显示文摘The current research of suspension performance evaluation is mixed in the evaluation of vehicle handling and ride comfort. However, it is lack of a direct and independent evaluation method for suspension performance. In this paper, a novel wheel turn center method is proposed to evaluate the suspension performance. This method is based on the concept and application of wheel turn center(WTC) and sprung mass turn center(SPTC). The vehicle body and each wheel are regarded to be independent rigid bodies and have their own turn centers which reflect respective steering motions and responses. Since the suspension is the link between vehicle body and wheels, the consistence between the sprung mass turn center and the wheel turn center reflects the effect and performance of the suspension system. Firstly, the concept and appropriate calculation method of WTC and SPTC are developed. Then the degree of inconsistence between WTC and SPTC and the time that they achieve consistence, when the vehicle experiences from transient steering to steady steering state, are proposed to evaluate suspension performance. The suspension evaluation tests are conducted under different vehicle velocities and lateral accelerations by using Car Sim software. The simulation results show that the inconsistence of steering motion between vehicle body and wheels are mainly at high speeds and low lateral accelerations. Finally, based on the proposed evaluation indexes, the influences of different suspension characteristic parameters on suspension performance and their matches to improve steering coordination are discussed.
