11Effect of secondary air on NO emission in a 440 t/h circulating fluidized bed boiler based on CPFD method显示文摘The 440 t/h circulating fluidized bed boiler was numerically simulated by the Computational Particle Fluid Dynamics(CPFD)method.The combustion characteristics of circulating fluidized bed boiler and the effect of secondary air on NO emission were investigated.The full-scale three-dimensional model of a 440 t/h circulating fluidized bed boiler was established.The rationality of the grid was validated by the experimental data of material layer resistance.The accuracy of the simulation was validated by measuring the temperature of each measuring point in the dense phase area.The combustion conditions in the furnace under different setting modes were simulated.The effects of secondary air rates on NO formation in fluidized bed were predicted.The results show that when the secondary air rate increases to 27%,the proper secondary air rate has a positive effect on the inhibition of NO generation,and the proper strengthening of the central air supply will improve the permeability of the secondary air and make the combustion more uniform and stable.When the secondary air rate increases to 33%,excessive improvement of air classification and central air distribution will affect the stability of circulating fluidized bed operation.Therefore,air classification and strengthening of central air supply can be used together to inhibit the generation of NO.Hongpeng Liu Haiwen Sun Ye Bi Chunxia Jia Lei Zhang Yanlong Li Hong Qin Qing Wang 2023Particuology2023,,12:0
12Alternating current stimulation promotes neurite outgrowth and plasticity in neurons through activation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway显示文摘As a commonly used physical intervention,electrical stimulation(ES)has been demonstrated to be effective in the treatment of central nervous system disorders.Currently,researchers are studying the effects of electrical stimu-lation on individual neurons and neural networks,which are dependent on factors such as stimulation intensity,duration,location,and neuronal properties.However,the exact mechanism of action of electrical stimulation remains unclear.In some cases,repeated or prolonged electrical stimulation can lead to changes in the morphology or function of the neuron.In this study,immunofluorescence staining and Sholl analysis are used to assess changes in the neurite number and axon length to determine the optimal pattern and stimulation parameters of ES for neurons.Neuronal death and plasticity are detected by TUNEL staining and microelectrode array assays,respec-tively.mRNA sequencing and bioinformatics analysis are applied to predict the key targets of the action of ES on neurons,and the identified targets are validated by western blot analysis and qRT-PCR.The effects of alternating current stimulation(ACS)on neurons are more significant than those of direct current stimulation(DCS),and the optimal parameters are 3μA and 20 min.ACS stimulation significantly increases the number of neurites,the length of axons and the spontaneous electrical activity of neurons,significantly elevates the expression of growth-asso-ciated protein-43(GAP-43)without significant changes in the expression of neurotrophic factors.Furthermore,application of PI3K/AKT-specific inhibitors significantly abolishes the beneficial effects of ACS on neurons,con-firming that the PI3K/AKT pathway is an important potential signaling pathway in the action of ACS.Hao Zhong Cong Xing Mi Zhou Zeyu Jia Song Liu Shibo Zhu Bo Li Hongjiang Yang Hongpeng Ma Liyue Wang Rusen Zhu Zhigang Qu Guangzhi Ning 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,11:0

14In Situ High-Temperature Reaction-Induced Local Structural Dynamic Evolution of Single-Atom Pt on Oxide Support显示文摘The dynamic evolution of active site coordination structure during a high-temperature reaction is critically significant but often difficult for the research of efficient single-atom catalysts(SACs).Herein,we for the first time report the in situ activation behaviors of the local coordination structure of Pt single atoms(Pt_(1))during the high-temperature oxidation of light alkanes.The distinctly enhanced activity of the catalyst is attributed to the in situ evolved Pt_(1)−oxygen vacancy(Pt_(1)−OV)combination ensemble as an efficient and stable active site.Theoretical calculations reveal that the lattice oxygen adjacent to Pt_(1)and the H dissociated from CH4 constitute the lattice hydroxyl,which is the initial step in the formation of the Pt_(1)−OV combination.Pt_(1)and nearby unsaturated Mn can donate the charge back to O−O to promote the dissociation of O_(2).This work provides molecular-level insight into the in situ reaction-induced evolution of a single-atom coordination environment for designing efficient SACs under harsh conditions.Dongxu Yan Yanxia Gao Ming-Yu Qi Hongpeng Jia Yi-Jun Xu 2023Precision Chemistry2023,1,5:0
15Sustained research fund and dedicated research center to prepare for the next pandemic显示文摘The current COVID-19 pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus is imposing a great threat to human lives and international panic the like of which has not been seen since WWII,resulting in financial crisis,disturbance to daily life,transportation shutdown,industry disruption,and country/city lockdown in every corner of the globe.The inability to effectively contain the virus indicates that our investment and attention to research,prevention,and development of treatment for this type of deadly virus are insufficient,considering that it has been 18 years since outbreak of the“brother”coronavirus,SARS-CoV.The biggest lesson learned fromacrimonious past experiences is that humans quickly forget and do not continue to support related research when a pandemic has passed.This is a wake-up call for governments,industry,and private foundations to work together and to take extraordinary measures to sustain research support and establish comprehensive research centers.Only this level of response may give us hope to prepare for the future and adequately deal with the next potential pandemic caused by emerging devastating viral infections.Hongpeng Jia Min Wu 2020Precision Clinical Medicine2020,3,2:0

17Constructing a high concentration CuO/CeO_(2) interface for complete oxidation of toluene:The fantastic application of spatial confinement strategy显示文摘In this paper,CeO_(2) substrate was prepared by the sol-gel method,further CuO was introduced by adding the copper complexes with chelating agents into the sol-gel precursors of CeO_(2),in which different chelating agents(β-cyclodextrin,glucose and trimesic acid)were tried.This synthesis method helps the CuO species to disperse very uniformly in the CeO_(2) substrates.When the amount of copper oxide is up to33 mol%,the CuO/CeO_(2) samples can still maintain a highly dispersed state.The CeO_(2) and CuO/CeO_(2)samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),temperature-programmed reduction of hydrogen(H_(2)-TPR),temperature-programed desorption(O_(2)-TPD),etc.It is found that the CuO/CeO_(2) catalyst prepared byβ-cyclodextrin(βCuO/CeO_(2)) exhibits better catalytic performance owing to the higher dispersion,higher specific surface area,more defects,more active Ce3+and Cu^(+) ions,more oxygen vacancies,more surface active oxygen,relatively better low temperature reducibility,and the exposed(110) active facets.In the condition of 1000×10-6toluene in air and WHSV=60000 mL/(g·h),the T90for toluene conversion is 227℃.The reaction mechanism of toluene catalytic oxidation over CeO_(2)andβCuO/CeO_(2) is discussed by the study of in-situ DRIFTS.This work affords a simple and efficient method for the synthesis of highly dispersed bimetal oxide catalysts with high contents.Chao Wang Yan Li Huiao Liu Ziying Hu Xinhui Hao Hongpeng Jia Jing Chen Canzhong Lu 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,6:0
