1Highly stable lead-free Cs3Bi2I9 perovskite nanoplates for photodetection applications显示文摘Lead halide perovskites have received tremendous attentions recently for their excellent properties such as high light absorption coefficient and long charge carrier diffusion length. However, the stability issues and the existence of toxic lead cations have largely limited their applications in optoelectronic area. Herein, we report the synthesis and investigation of highly stable and lead-free Cs3Bi2I9 perovskite nanoplates for visible light photodetection applications. The Cs3Bi2I9 nanoplates were synthesized through a facile solution-processed method, which is also applicable to various substrates. The achieved nanoplates present very good crystal quality and exhibit excellent long-term stability even exposed in moist air for several months. Photodetectors were constructed based on these high-quality perovskite nanoplates for the first time, and display a maximum photoresponsivity of 33.1 mA/W under the illumination of 450 nm laser, which is six times higher than the solution-synthesized CH3NH3PbI3 nanowire photodetectors. The specific detectivity of these devices can reach up to 10^10 Jones. Additionally, the devices exhibit fast rise and decay time of 10.2 and 37.2 ms, respectively, and highly stable photoswitching behavior with their photoresponse well retaining under alternating light and darkness. 3Synthesis and Diameter-dependent Thermal Conductivity of InAs Nanowires显示文摘In this work, we synthesized high-quality In As nanowires by a convenient chemical vapor deposition method,and developed a simple laser heating method to measure the thermal conductivity of a single In As nanowire in air. During the measurement, a focused laser was used to heat one end of a freely suspended nanowire, with its other end embedded into a carbon conductive adhesive. In order to obtain the thermal conductivity of In As nanowires, the heat loss in the heat transfer process was estimated, which includes the heat loss through air conduction, the heat convection, and the radiation loss. The absorption ratio of the laser power in the In As nanowire was calculated. 7Modeling of Surface Tension and Viscosity for Non-electrolyte Systems by Means of the Equation of State for Square-well Chain Fluids with Variable Interaction Range显示文摘The equation of state(EOS)for square-well chain fluid with variable range(SWCF-VR) developed in our previous work based on statistical mechanical theory for chemical association is employed for the correlations of surface tension and viscosity of common fluids and ionic liquids(ILs).A model of surface tension for multi-component mixtures is presented by combining the SWCF-VR EOS and the scaled particle theory and used to produce the surface tension of binary and ternary mixtures.The predicted surface tensions are in excellent agreement with the experimental data with an overall average absolute relative deviation(AAD)of 0.36%.A method for the calculation of dynamic viscosity of common fluids and ILs at high pressure is presented by combining Eyring’s rate theory of viscosity and the SWCF-VR EOS.The calculated viscosities are in good agreement with the experimental data with the overall AAD of 1.44% for 14 fluids in 84 cases.The salient feature is that the molecular parameters used in these models are self-consistent and can be applied to calculate different thermodynamic properties such as pVT,vapor-liquid equilibrium,caloric properties,surface tension,and viscosity.LI Jinlong HE Changchun MA Jun PENG Changjun LIU Honglai HU Ying 2011Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2011,19,4:1

12IMPROVEMENT OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE DISPENSER CATHODE WITH Re AS A MIDDLE LAYER显示文摘A new type of dispenser cathode with dual-layer (Os-W/Re) is developed. The cathode coated with Os-W/Re shows better emission performance than the cathode coated with Os-W alloy. X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) spectra demonstrate that ternary alloy coating (Os-W-Re) formed on the surface of the cathode with dual-layer (Os-W/Re) after full activation is the major reason why it has better emission than the cathode with Os-W alloy. The surface of each variety of the cathode is characterized with Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) before and after activation: the emitting surface of the cathode with Os-W alloy after ageing appeared non-adherence (flaking) in localized areas, which is one of the reasons for non-uniform emission. However, the surface of the cathode with dual-layer (Os-W/Re) does not present film peeling under the same conditions. 14Operando generated copper‐based catalyst enabling efficient electrosynthesis of 2,5‐bis(hydroxymethyl)furan显示文摘Electrocatalytic upgrading of biomass-derived platform molecules has emerged as a sustainable and environmentally benign route to produce high-value chemicals.The main challenge lies in developing efficient catalysts for the selective activation of designated chemical bonds in the presence of various reducible groups.This work demonstrated a high-efficiency electrochemical conversion of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)to 2,5-bis(hydroxymethyl)furan(BHMF),an important industrial synthetic reagent.A highly porous Cu-based catalyst was developed that achieved nearly 100%BHMF selectivity and long-term stability.Through comprehensive operando and ex-situ structural characterizations,an electrochemically generated catalyst with abundant Cu/Cu2O interfaces was identified as a catalytically active phase for HMF conversion.Deuterated BHMF,with the potential to produce deuterated drugs,was also synthesized using D2O as the deuterium source.Density functional theory calculations show that the Cu/Cu2O interface structure exhibits relatively low energy barriers for the hydrogenation of HMF to BHMF.This work provides insights into the origin of electrocatalytic hydrogenation activity and highlights the promising potential of the electrocatalytic synthesis of high-value chemicals.Zhaolu Zhang Kai Huang Xinyue Qiu Wangxin Ge Xiaoling Yang Yihua Zhu Cheng Lian Honglai Liu Hongliang Jiang Chunzhong Li 2023Fundamental Research2023,3,5:0

17CO_2 capture through halogen bonding: A theoretical perspective显示文摘Halogen bonding interactions between several halogenated ion pairs and CO2 molecules have been investigated by means of density functional theory calculations. To account for the influence of solvent environment, the implicit polarized continuum model was also employed. The bromide and iodide cations of ionic liquids (ILs) under study can interact with CO2 molecules via X O interactions, which become much stronger in strength than those in the complexes of iodo-perfluorobenzenes, very effective halogen bond donors, with CO2 molecules. Such interactions, albeit somewhat weaker in strength, are also observed between halogenated ion pairs and CO2 molecules. Thus, the solubility of CO2 may be improved when using halogenated ILs, as a result of the formation of X O halogen bonds. Under solvent effects, the strength of the interactions tends to be weakened to some degree, with a concomitant elongation of intermolecular distances. 18Ionic Liquid-Polypyrrole-Gold Composites as Enhanced Enzyme Immobilization Platforms forHydrogen Peroxide Sensing显示文摘In this work, three different aqueous solutions containing imidazole-based ILs w让h different alkyl chain lengths ([Cnmim]Br, n = 2Z 6,12) were adopted as the medium for the synthesis of ionic liquid-polypyrrole (IL-PPy) composites. Herein, the ILs undertook the roles of the pyrrole solvent, the media for emulsion polymerization of PPy and PPy dopants, respectively. The electrochemical performances of the three IL-PPy composites on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) were investigated by electrochemical experiments, which indicated that [Ci2mim]Br-PPy (Ci2~PPy) composites displayed better electrochemical performance due to their larger surface area and firmer immobilization on the GCE. Further, Ci2?PPy/GCE were decorated with Au microparticles by electrodeposition that can not only increase the conductivity, but also immobilize sufficient biomolecules on the electrode. Then, the obtained Ci2~PPy^Au/GCE with outstanding electrochemical performance was employed as a horseradish peroxidase (HRP) immobilization platform to fabricate a novel Ci2-PPy-Au-HRP/GCE biosensor for H2O2 detection. The results showed that the prepared Ci2-PPy-Au-HRP/GCE biosensor exhibited high sensitivity, fast response, and a wide detection range as well as low detection limit towards H2O2.
