Finite element analysis for wellbore stability of transversely isotropic rock with hydraulic-mechanical-damage coupling显示文摘The finite element analysis(FEA) technology by hydraulic-mechanical-damage(HMD) coupling is proposed in this paper for wellbore stability analysis of transversely isotropic rock, developed basing on the recently established FEA technology for isotropic rock. The finite element(FE) solutions of numerical wellbore model, damage tensor calculation and Pariseau strength criterion for transversely isotropic rock are developed for researching the wellbore failure characteristics and computing the collapse and fracture pressure of laminated rock as shale reservoirs. The classic Biot constitutive for rock as porous medium is introduced to establish a set of FE equations coupling with elastic solid deformation and seepage flow. To be in accord with the inclined wellbore situation, the coordinate transformation for global, wellbore, in-situ stress and transversely isotropic formation coordinate systems is established for describing the in-situ stress field and the results in laminated rock. To be in accord with the practical situation, a three-dimensional FE model is developed, in which several other auxiliary technologies are comprehensively utilized, e.g., the typical Weibull distribution function for heterogeneous material description and adaptive technology for mesh refinement. The damage tensor calculation technology for transversely isotropic rock are realized from the well-developed continuum damage variable of isotropic rock. The rock is subsequently developed into a novel conceptual and practical model considering the stress and permeability with the damage. The proposed method utilizing Pariseau strength criterion fully reflects the strength parameters parallel or perpendicular to bedding of the transversely isotropic rock. To this end, an effective and reliable numerically three-step FEA strategy is well established. Numerical examples are given to show that the proposed method can establish efficient and applicable FE model and be suitable for analyzing the state of pore pressure and stress surrounding wellbore, furthermore to demonstrate the effectiveness and reliability of the instability analysis of wellbore failure region and the safe mud weight computation for collapse and fracture pressure of transversely isotropic rock.WANG YongLiang LIUZhanLi YANG HengLin ZHUANG Zhuo 2017Science China(Technological Sciences)2017,60,1:4
Propofol effectively inhibits lithium-pilocarpine-induced status epilepticus in rats via downregulation of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2B subunit expression显示文摘Status epilepticus was induced via intraperitoneal injection of lithium-pilocarpine.The inhibitory effects of propofol on status epilepticus in rats were judged based on observation of behavior, electroencephalography and 24-hour survival rate.Propofol(12.5-100 mg/kg) improved status epilepticus in a dose-dependent manner, and significantly reduced the number of deaths within 24 hours of lithium-pilocarpine injection.Western blot results showed that,24 hours after induction of status epilepticus, the levels of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2A and 2B subunits were significantly increased in rat cerebral cortex and hippocampus.Propofol at 50 mg/kg significantly suppressed the increase in N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2B subunit levels, but not the increase in N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2A subunit levels. The results suggest that propofol can effectively inhibit status epilepticus induced by lithium-pilocarpine.This effect may be associated with downregulation of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 2B subunit expression after seizures.Henglin wang Zhuoqiang Wang Weidong Mi Cong Zhao Yanqin Liu Yongan Wang Haipeng Sun 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,11:3
Stability analysis of the pillars between bedded salt cavern gas storages by cusp catastrophe model显示文摘The failure of pillars between bedded salt cavern gas storages can be seen as processes that the deformations of pillars convert from continuous gradual change system to catastrophe state, which are typical nonlinear catastrophe problems. In the paper, the cusp catastrophe model is proposed to obtain the stability factors of pillars. It can overcome the shortages of traditional strength reduction finite element method(SR FEM) and greatly improve the accuracy of stability factors obtained by numerical simulations. The influences of cavern depth, gas pressure, pillar width, and time on the stability factors are studied.Y-1 and Y-2 salt cavern gas storages, located at Jiangsu province of China, were simulated as examples. The stability factors of pillars between Y-1 and Y-2 were evaluated, and the running parameters were recommended to ensure the pillars stability. The results showed that the cusp catastrophe model has high practicability and can precisely predict the stability factors. The stability factors are equidirectional with the increase of gas pressure and pillar width, but reverse to the increase of cavern depth and time. The stability factors of pillars between Y-1 and Y-2 are small for narrow widths, which are influenced greatly by gas pressure, time, pressure difference, and gas production rate.In order to ensure the safety of pillars, the lowest gas pressure, safe running time, max.pressure difference and max.gas production rate of Y-1 and Y-2 were recommended as 7 MPa,5 years,3 MPa,and 0.50 MPa/d,respectively.WANG TongTao YAN XmangZhen YANG HengLin YANG XiuJuan 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,6:2
Study of aquatic chemical characteristic in some bays along the coastal region of Zhejiang Province显示文摘In this paper, the aquatic chemical characteristics in the Hangzhou Bay,Xiangshan Bay and Leqing Bay along the coastal region of Zhejiang Province are discussed . Results show that the seasonal variations of chemical elements are obvious. The distribution of silicate in Hangzhou Bay and contents of dissolved oxygen and nutrient in the Xiangshan Bay are found to be unusual in winter. Correlations among the elements are complex. The content of nutrient in the Hangzhou Bay is higher than that in Xiangshan Bay and the content of nutrient in the Xiangshan Bay is higher than that in the Leqing Bay . The variation of the ratio of N/P is obvious. This reflects the aquatic chemical characteristics in the bay. Finally, this paper also discusses the reason why the aquatic chemical characteristics in the bays are unusual.Wang Yuheng,Dong Henglin and Jiang Guochang The Second Institute of Oceanography,State Oceanic Administration ,Hangzhou,China 1990Acta Oceanologica Sinica1990,9,4:2

Finite element analysis for inclined wellbore stability of transversely iso-tropic rock with HMCD coupling based on weak plane strength criterion显示文摘The finite element analysis(FEA) technology by hydraulic-mechanical-chemical-damage(HMCD) coupling is proposed in this paper for inclined wellbore stability analysis of water-sensitive and laminated rock, developed basing on the recently established FEA technology for transversely isotropic rock with hydraulic-mechanical-damage(HMD) coupling. The chemical activity of the drilling fluid is considered as phenomenological hydration behavior, the moisture content and parameters of rock considering hydration could be determined with time. The finite element(FE) solutions of numerical wellbore model considering the chemical activity of drilling fluid, damage tensor calculation and weak plane strength criterion for transversely isotropic rock are developed for researching the wellbore failure characteristics and computing the time-dependent collapse and fracture pressure of laminated rock as shale reservoirs. A three-dimensional FE model and elastic solid deformation and seepage flow coupled equations are developed, and the damage tensor calculation technology for transversely isotropic rock are realized by introducing effect of the hydration and the stress state under the current load. The proposed method utilizing weak plane strength criterion fully reflects the strength parameters in rock matrix and weak plane. To the end, an effective and reliable numerically three-step FEA strategy is well established for wellbore stability analysis. Numerical examples are given to show that the proposed method can establish efficient and applicable FE model and be suitable for analyzing the timedependsolutions of pore pressure and stresses, and the evolution region considering the hydration surrounding wellbore, furthermore to compute the collapse cycling time and the safe mud weight for collapse and fracture pressure of transversely isotropic rock.WANG YongLiang ZHUANG Zhuo LIU ZhanLi YANG HengLin LI ChenFeng 2017Science China(Technological Sciences)2017,60,4:1
Strength and Microstructure of Mortar Containing Glass Powder and/or Glass Aggregate显示文摘The compressive strength of mortar containing glass powder(GP) and/or glass aggregate(GA) was tested, and its microstructure was also studied by thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis(TG-DTA), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopic analysis(EDX), and X-ray diffraction(XRD) techniques. The incorporation of GA would decrease the compressive strength of the mortar in the absence of GP. Incorporating both GA and GP could change the hydration environment, promote pozzolanic reaction of GP and improve the compressive strength. GP does not lead to but can effectively control ASR(Alkali Silica Reaction). GP and GA do not transform the type of hydrates, but have a great influence on the amounts of hydration products, and generate more calcium silicate hydrate(C-S-H gel) with lower Ca/Si ratio. GP and GA with good gradation will make the microstructure denser.刘数华 WANG Shu ZHOU Wei LI Lihua XIAO Henglin WEI Jianpeng TANG Wan 2016Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2016,31,6:1
Seismic behavior of outrigger truss-wall shear connections using multiple steel angles显示文摘An experimental investigation on the seismic behavior of a type of outrigger truss-reinforced concrete wall shear connection using multiple steel angles is presented. Six large-scale shear connection models, which involved a portion of reinforced concrete wall and a shear tab welded onto a steel endplate with three steel angles, were constructed and tested under combined actions of cyclic axial load and eccentric shear. The effects of embedment lengths of steel angles, wall boundary elements, types of anchor plates, and thicknesses of endplates were investigated. The test results indicate that properly detailed connections exhibit desirable seismic behavior and fail due to the ductile fracture of steel angles. Wall boundary elements provide beneficial confinement to the concrete surrounding steel angles and thus increase the strength and stiffness of connections. Connections using whole anchor plates are prone to suffer concrete pry-out failure while connections with thin endplates have a relatively low strength and fail due to large inelastic deformations of the endplates. The current design equations proposed by Chinese Standard 04G362 and Code GB50011 significantly underestimate the capacities of the connection models. A revised design method to account for the influence of previously mentioned test parameters was developed.Li Xian Wang Wei Lü Henglin Zhang Guangchang 2016Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2016,15,2:0
