1Geometry-preserving full-waveform tomography and its application in the Longmen Shan area显示文摘Classic L2-norm-based waveform tomography is often plagued by insurmountable cycle skipping problems;as a result,the iterative inversion falls into local minima,yielding erroneous images.According to the optimal transportation theory,we adopt a novel geometry-preserving misfit function based on the quadratic Wasserstein metric(W2-norm),which improves the stability and convexity of the inverse problem.Numerical experiments illustrate that W2-norm-based full-waveform tomography has a larger convergence radius and a faster convergence rate than the L2-norm and can effectively mitigate cycle skipping issues.We apply this method to the Longmen Shan area and obtain a reliable lithospheric velocity model.Our tomographic results indicate that the crystalline crust underlying the Sichuan Basin wedges into the crustal interior of the Tibetan Plateau,and the mid-lower crust of the eastern Tibetan Plateau is characterized by low shear-wave velocities,indicating that ductile crustal flow and strong interactions between terranes jointly dominate the uplift behavior of the Longmen Shan.Furthermore,we find that large earthquakes(e.g.,the Wenchuan and Lushan events)occur not only at the junction between high-and low-velocity regions but also in the transition zone from positive to negative radial anisotropy.These findings improve our understanding of the mechanism responsible for large earthquakes in this region.Xingpeng DONG Dinghui YANG Hejun ZHU Yun CHEN 2022Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,3:2

5QTL Detection for Albinism-Related Loci in Chinese Tongue Sole(Cynoglossus semilaevis)显示文摘The Chinese tongue sole(Cynoglossus semilaevis) is widely cultured in the coastal region of East Asia and has excellent economic value. However, the high albino rate of the breeding population has caused a significant loss to the aquaculture industry. To study the molecular mechanism of albinism, the present study used an albino Chinese tongue sole family to construct three simple sequence repeat(SSR) linkage groups, and draft a preliminary linkage map related to albinism. After albinism-related loci mapping, 18 albinism-related loci were detected under two models(containing 2407 genes) compared to the Chinese tongue sole genome. One of these loci, the tyrosinase related protein(tyrp2), which has been reported previously as an important gene regulating both eumelanin and phaeomelanin levels, was indicated to be the possible cause of albinism. Thirty-five Gene Ontology(GO) terms and 14 Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genome pathways were annotated via bioinformatic analyses. One GO term with protein tyrosine kinase activity, which contained 10 genes, was previously suggested to affect fish albinism. 6Critical peak rebate strategy and application to demand response显示文摘Time-of-use (TOU) pricing strategy is an important component of demand-side management (DSM), but the cost of supplying power during critical peak periods remains high under TOU prices. This affects power system reliability. In addition, TOU prices are usually applicable to medium- and long-term load control but cannot effectively regulate short-term loads. Therefore, this paper proposes an optimization method for TOU pricing and changes the electricity consumption patterns during the critical peak periods through a critical peak rebate (CPR). This reduces generation costs and improves power system reliability. An optimization model for peak-flat-valley (PFV) period partition is established based on fuzzy clustering and an enumeration iterative technique. A TOU pricing optimization model including grid-side and customer-side benefits is then proposed, and a simulated annealing particle swarm optimization (SAPSO) algorithm is used to solve the problem. Finally, a CPR decision model is developed to further reduce critical peak loads. 9Bi-objective Layout Optimization for Multiple Wind Farms Considering Sequential Fluctuation of Wind Power Using Uniform Design显示文摘The fluctuation of wind power brings great challenges to the secure,stable,and cost-efficient operation of the power system.Because of the time-correlation of wind speed and the wake effect of wind turbines,the layout of wind farm has a significant impact on the wind power sequential fluctuation.In order to reduce the fluctuation of wind power and improve the operation security with lower operating cost,a bi-objective layout optimization model for multiple wind farms considering the sequential fluctuation of wind power is proposed in this paper.The goal is to determine the optimal installed capacity of wind farms and the location of wind turbines.The proposed model maximizes the energy production and minimizes the fluctuation of wind power simultaneously.To improve the accuracy of wind speed estimation and hence the power calculation,the timeshifting of wind speed between the wind tower and turbines’locations is also considered.A uniform design based two-stage genetic algorithm is developed for the solution of the proposed model.Case studies demonstrate the effectiveness of this proposed model.Yinghao Ma Kaigui Xie Yanan Zhao Hejun Yang Dabo Zhang 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,6:0
10Inverse Proportion Technique Based Scheduling Strategy for Energy Storage System Considering Load Demand Differences显示文摘The energy storage system(ESS)as a demand-side management(DSM)resource can effectively smooth the load power fluctuation of a power system.However,designing a more reasonable ESS operational strategy will be a prerequisite before incorporating the energy storage device into DSM.As different load levels have different demands for the real-time chargedischarge power of an ESS,this paper proposes a heuristic ESS operation scheduling strategy which can take into account the electrical load demand differences.In this paper,firstly,two demand degree concepts for charging power and discharging power are defined to describe the differentiated ESS demand under the condition of different electrical load levels.Secondly,an inverse proportion technique based ESS scheduling strategy,with the consideration of the load demand difference,is proposed in this paper.Thirdly,some evaluating indices are defined in this paper for describing the influence of the proposed strategy on the smoothing degree of the daily load curve.Finally,several case studies are designed to verify the validity and correctness of the proposed technique,and the results show that the proposed technique can effectively smooth the load curve and improve the ability of peak shaving and valley filling.Hejun Yang Zhenyu Hao Yinghao Ma Dabo Zhang 2022CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2022,8,5:0
