| 1 | Effects of PyC shell thickness on the microstructure,ablation resistance of SiCnws/PyC-C/C-ZrC-SiC composites显示文摘SiC nanowires/pyrocarbon(SiCnws/PyC)core-shell structure toughenedC/C-ZrC-SiC composites were fabricated by CLVD process,and the influences of PyC shell thickness on the microstructure and ablation resistance of the composites were researched.The results presented that SiCnws/PyC core-shell structure had a linear shape,and the composites became dense with the increasing PyC thickness.When the thickness of PyC shell increased from 0 to 2.4μm,the density and thermal conductivity of the composites was improved gradually,but the coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE)decreased firstly and then increased.After the ablation test for 90 s,the ablation rates of the composites decreased continuously as the PyC thickness increased from 0 to 1.4μm,but increased when the PyC thickness was up to 2.4μm.Especially when the PyC thickness was 1.4μm,the linear and mass ablation rates of the composites were 71.25%and 63.01%lower than those of the composites without PyC shell.The reasons behind the remarkable improvement of anti-ablation property were that the proper PyC thickness could alleviate the CTE mismatch to promote the formation of complete oxide coating,improve the thermal conductivity to reduce heat corrosion and enhance the capability to limit the mechanical erosion. | Qinchuan He Hejun Li Xuemin Yin Jinhua Lu | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,12: | 4 |
| 2 | Effect of chemical vapor infiltration treatment on the wave-absorbing performance of carbon fiber/cement composites显示文摘Short carbon fibers were treated at high temperatures around 1100°C through chemical vapor infiltration technology. A thinner layer of pyrocarbon was deposited on the fiber surface. The dispersion of carbon fibers in a cement matrix and the mechanical properties of carbon fiber/cement composites were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and other tests. The reflec-tivity of electromagnetic waves by the composites was measured in the frequency range of 8.0-18 GHz for different carbon fiber contents of 0.2wt%, 0.4wt%, 0.6wt%, and 1.0wt%. The results show that the reflectivity tends to increase with the increase of fiber content above 0.4wt%. The minimum reflectivity is -19.3 dB and the composites exhibit wave-absorbing performances. After pyro-carbon is deposited on the fiber, all the reflectivity data are far greater. | 3 | NiCoLDH nanosheets grown on MOF-derived Co_(3)O_(4) triangle nanosheet arrays for high-performance supercapacitor显示文摘Hierarchical Co_(3)O_(4)@NiCoLDH nanosheets(NSs)were prepared on carbon cloth through a multistep method,containing Metal-organic frameworks(MOF)-templated thermal annealing and electrodeposition.The triangle-shaped Co_(3)O_(4 NSs)were firstly obtained by thermal treatment of MOF templates in air.Then,ultrathin NiCoLDH_(NSs)were in-situ electrodeposited on the surface of Co_(3)O_(4NSs),constructing a core-shell structure.Benefiting the unique hierarchical structure,high conductivity of Co_(3)O_(4 NSs)core and large surface area of NiCoLDHNSs shell,the Co_(3)O_(4)@NiCoLDH_(NSs)array served as supercapacitor electrode exhibits excellent electrochemical properties,such as high specific capacitance of 1708 F g^(-1)(850 C g^(-1))at a current density of 1 A g^(-1),good rate capability,and excellent cycling stability.Further,the asymmetric supercapacitor assembled by Co_(3)O_(4)@NiCoLDH_(NSs)and activated carbon,also displays superior electrochemical perfo rmance with high energy density and power density.Remarkably,the strategy of constructing core-shell structure based on MOF templates could be extended to other electrochemical fields. | Xuemin Yin Hejun Li Ruimei Yuan Jinhua Lu | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,3: | 2 |
| 4 | Effect of Monolithic LaB_6 on the Ablation Resistance of ZrC/SiC Coating Prepared by Supersonic Plasma Spraying for C/C Composites显示文摘Ablation resistance of monolithic LaB_6-doped ZrC coating for SiC-coated carbon/carbon composites by supersonic atmospheric plasma spray was investigated under an oxyacetylene torch with a heat flux of 4.18 MW/m^2. Result shows that ZrC coating with 10 vol.% LaB_6 has a good ablation resistance compared with pure ZrC, ZrC with 20 vol.% LaB_6 and SiC-doped ZrC coating. After ablation for 15 s, the weight is increased by 1.12 mg/s. | 8 | Influence of Thermal Shock on the Mechanical Behavior of Si-SiC Coated Carbon/Carbon Composites显示文摘Si-SiC coating was prepared on the surface of carbon/carbon (C/C) composites by a two-step technique of pack cementation, and the influences of thermal shock between 1773 K and room temperature in air on the mechanical property and fracture behavior of the coated C/C were studied. The results show that, after thermal shock between 1773 K and room temperature for 5, 10 and 15 times, the flexural strength of coated composites increases by 4.29%, 15.00% and 24.20%, respectively. The toughness of the coated C/C enhances gradually during the thermal shock test. | 9 | Comparative Study on Analysis and Fitting of Pudong Chicken Growth Curve显示文摘The objective of this paper was to study the growth and development laws of Pudong chicken. The growth curve of Pudong chicken(cock and hen) from 0 to 20 weeks was analyzed and fitted with three models(Gompertz, Logistic and Bertalanffy). It was concluded that the growth curves were appropriately fitted with three models, and fitness degree(R2)in growth data of Pudong chicken were all above 0.992. The Bertalanffy model was the most effective with the highest R2 for cock(R2=0.995) and hen(R2=0.999), respectively. With further analysis of fitted parameters for Logistic model of cock, 0-3 weeks' fitted values were significantly greater than measured values and 4-8 weeks ' fitted values were lower than measured values. Compared with Logistic model, the values calculated by Gompertz model and Bertalanffy model were more coincident with the practical measuring values. For hens, 0-3 weeks ' fitted values of Logistic model were significantly greater than measured values and 0-2 weeks ' fitted values of Gompertz model were slightly greater than measured values, while the values calculated by Bertalanffy model best matched the observed val-ues from actual measure. The results showed that Bertalanffy model used to estimate the growth weight of Pudong chicken was the best while Logis-tic model was the worst. | 19 | Assembly and phylogenomic analysis of cotton mitochondrial genomes provide insights into the history of cotton evolution显示文摘Cotton is a major crop that provides the most important renewable textile fibers in the world.Studies of the taxonomy and evolution of cotton species have received wide attentions,not only due to cotton’s economic value but also due to the fact that Gossypium is an ideal model system to study the origin,evolution,and cultivation of polyploid species.Previous studies suggested the involvement of mitochondrial genome editing sites and copy number as well as mitochondrial functions in cotton fiber elongation.Whereas,with only a few mitogenomes assembled in the cotton genus Gossypium,our knowledge about their roles in cotton evolution and speciation is still scarce.To close this gap,here we assembled 20 mitogenomes from 15 cotton species spanning all the cotton clades(A–G,K,and AD genomes)and 5 cotton relatives using short and long sequencing reads.Systematic analyses uncovered a high level of mitochondrial gene sequence conservation,abundant sequence repeats and many insertions of foreign sequences,as well as extensive structural variations in cotton mitogenomes.The sequence repeats and foreign sequences caused significant mitogenome size inflation in Gossypium and its close relative Kokia in general,while there is no significant difference between the lint and fuzz cotton mitogenomes in terms of gene content,RNA editing,and gene expression level.Interestingly,we further revealed the specific presence and expression of two novel mitochondrial open reading frames(ORFs)in lint-fiber cotton species.Finally,these structural features and novel ORFs help us gain valuable insights into the history of cotton evolution and polyploidization and the origin of species producing long lint fibers from a mitogenomic perspective. | Yanlei Feng Yukang Wang Hejun Lu Jun Li Delara Akhter Fang Liu Ting Zhao Xingxing Shen Xiaobo Li James Whelan Tianzhen Zhang Jianping Hu Ronghui Pan | 2023 | The Crop Journal2023,11,6: | 0 |
