| 1 | Baicalin and rutin are major constituents in Shuanghuanglian injection involving anaphylactoid reaction显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To identify the constituents in Shuanghuanglian injection(SHLI) that correlate with anaphylactoid reaction.METHODS: Chemical fingerprints of 10 batches SHLI samples were determined by High Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC), and further investigated by similarity analysis. Combined with optical microscopy, both anaphylactoid experiments and confirmatory assay were displayed in Rat basophil leukemia cells(RBL-2H3) to obtain the histamine release inducing by SHLI. The content of histamine was tested by Enzyme-Linked Immuno Sorbent As-say method. Partial least squares regression(PLSR)method and HPLC-DAD-ESI-MSntechnology were conducted to analyze constituents in SHLI involving anaphylactoid reaction.RESULTS: The results of spectrum and effect relationships showed that the eight constituents were positively correlated with anaphylactoid reaction.Among which, nearly 90% of them were identified as baicalin and rutin with PLSR and HPLC-DAD-ESI-MSn. | 2 | Geniposide, the component of the Chinese herbal formula Tongluojiunao, protects amyloid-β peptide(1–42)-mediated death of hippocampal neurons via the non-classical estrogen signaling pathway显示文摘Tongluojiunao(TLJN) is an herbal medicine consisting of two main components, geniposide and ginsenoside Rg1. TLJN has been shown to protect primary cultured hippocampal neurons. However, its mechanism of action remains unclear. In the present study, primary cultured hippocampal neurons treated with Aβ1–42(10 μmol/L) significantly increased the release of lactate dehydrogenase, which was markedly reduced by TLJN(2 μL/mL), specifically by the component geniposide(26 μmol/L), but not ginsenoside Rg1(2.5 μmol/L). The estrogen receptor inhibitor, ICI182780(1 μmol/L), did not block TLJN- or geniposide-mediated decrease of lactate dehydrogenase under Aβ1–42-exposed conditions. However, the phosphatidyl inositol 3-kinase or mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway inhibitor, LY294002(50 μmol/L) or U0126(10 μmol/L), respectively blo cked the decrease of lactate dehydrogenase mediated by TLJN or geniposide. | 6 | A Super-robust Armoured Superhydrophobic Surface with Excellent Anti-icing Ability显示文摘It has been proved that the construction of interconnected armour on superhydrophobic surface could significantly enhance the mechanical robustness.Here,a new kind of armour with frame/protrusion hybrid structure was achieved by nanosecond laser technology.Then,this armoured superhydrophobic surface demonstrated excellent durability,which could withstand linear abrasion(~3 N press)800 cycles,water jet test(1.0 MPa pressure)40 times and 100℃treatment 18 days.Particularly,the armoured superhydrophobic sample shows outstanding anti-icing ability,which can speed up the supercooled water dropping(no adhesion within 2 h),increase the freezing delay time by~3 times and maintain low adhesion force(less than 35 kPa)after 30 icing/de-icing cycles.Further finite element analysis and theoretical modeling proved that the developed frame/protuberance hybrid structure could effectively enhance the durability.The relatively low surface accuracy in this study can significantly reduce processing cost,which provides a bright future for the practical application of armour superhydrophobic materials. | Peng Wang Hui Zhao Boyuan Zheng Ximei Guan Bin Sun Yongli Liao Ying Yue Wei Duan Haimin Ding | 2023 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2023,20,5: | 1 |

| 13 | Influence of graphite on concentration of carbon vacancies in ball-milled TiC_x显示文摘In this work, the influence of graphite on the ball-milled TiCx was studied. The results show that the lattice parameter of TiCx is increased when TiCx particles are ball-milled with graphite, which indicates a decrease in the concentration of carbon vacancies in the TiCx. It is considered that this decrease in the concentration of carbon vacancies results from the diffusion of carbon atoms from graphite into the TiCx. When the TiCx is ball-milled with more graphite, the effectiveness of the ball-milling is better, and the diffusion process of carbon becomes much easier.
