1Microstructures of Ti-48%Ni shape memory melt-spun ribbons显示文摘The effect of wheel speed on microstructures of Ti-48%Ni (mole fraction) melt-spun ribbons was investigated by X-ray diffractometry, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. When the wheel speed is 26 and 42 m/s, the as-spun ribbons are completely crystallized to the Ti-Ni B2 phase. The Ti-rich plate precipitates lying on {100} planes are observed in the as-spun ribbon fabricated with a wheel speed of 26 m/s. The spherical Ti2Ni precipitates are observed at grain boundaries in the as-spun ribbons fabricated with a wheel speed of 42 m/s. Amorphous and B2 phases coexist in the as-spun ribbon fabricated with a wheel speed of 52 m/s. 2Effect of Alloying Elements on Microstructure,Martensitic Transformation and Mechanical Properties of Ni-Mn Based Alloys显示文摘The microstructural features,shape memory behavior and mechanical properties of Ni-Mn based alloys were investigated by dierential scanning calorimetry(DSC),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and thermal cycling test under various stresses.The transformation temperatures shifted toward lower temperatures when adding a third element into the Ni-Mn system.The addition of 10 at. pct Fe increased considerably the mechanical properties exhibiting still high transformation temperatures. However,it was found that in NiMn40Fe10 alloy the martensitic transformation is not thermoelastic in nature. 3Changes in lamellar microstructure by parallel twinning during creep in soft PST crystal of TiAl alloy显示文摘Compression creep tests of a Ti-48%Al (mole fraction) alloy were carried out at 1?150?K with soft-orientated PST crystal. Parallel twinning took place during the creep. Changes in lamellar microstructure caused by the parallel twinning were investigated, and their effects on creep deformation behavior were discussed. The results show that the parallel twinning occurs in an early stage of creep, and makes significant contribution to creep strain in the domains favorably oriented for the twinning. The nucleation of parallel twins finishes at a strain of about 3%. There is a critical resolved shear stress for parallel twinning, and it is about 50?MPa in the Ti 48%Al PST crystals at 1?150?K. The activity of parallel twinning increases with increasing applied stress or in a coarse lamellar material. The addition of parallel twins reduces the average value of lamellar spacing. In general, the refinement of lamellar structure should improve creep resistance. However the strengthening by parallel twinning is not evident in creep of the soft PST crystals because the soft deformation modes are the dominant deformation mode in the crystals.H.Y.Kim K.Maruyama 2002中国有色金属学会会刊:英文版2002,12,4:1

6Development of a Multi KD~* P Controller显示文摘We have developed a new multi KD *P controller which enables us to control the high voltage input and three KD *Ps power supply simultanenously for the Solar Flare Telescope (SOFT) in Bohyunsan Optical Astronomy Observatory (BOAO). The new KD *P controller permits a very short switching time as well as a stable of electric power supply, making it possible to obtain multiple frames in a single phase of high voltage. Here we have used a 80C196KC microprocessor and three high voltage modules. The rising and falling time of output pulses generated from the new controller is found to be less than 10 -3 sec and the power supply stability is maintained within accuracy of less than 0 1%. The period of a single phase voltage is controlled by user in the range of 0 03sec to 3 seconds. The number of integrated image frames is also set by user up to 256 frames. The present system can be readily utilized to control a wider range of high voltage power by simply modifying software.Y.D.Park 1, U.W.Nam 1, Y.
