1Challenges and recent progress in thermal management with heat pipes for lithium-ion power batteries in electric vehicles显示文摘Electric vehicles(EVs)are globally undergoing rapid developments,and have great potentials to replace the traditional vehicles based on fossil fuels.Power-type lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)have been widely used for EVs,owing to high power densities,good charge/discharge stability,and long cycle life.The driving ranges and acceleration performances are gaining increasing concerns from customers,which depend highly on the power level of LIBs.With the increase in power outputs,rising heat generation significantly affects the battery performances,and in particular operation safety.Meanwhile,the cold-start performance is still an intractable problem under extreme conditions.These challenges put forward higher requirements for a dedicated battery thermal management system(BTMS).Compared to traditional BTMSs in EVs,the heat pipe-based BTMS has great application prospects owing to its compact structure,flexibility,low cost,and especially high thermal conductivity.Encompassing this topic,this review first introduces heat generation phenomena and temperature characteristics of LIBs.Multiple abuse conditions and thermal runaway issues are described afterward.Typical cooling and preheating methods for designing a BTMS are also discussed.More emphasis on this review is put on the use of various heat pipes for BTMSs to enhance the thermal performances of LIBs.For lack of wide application in actual EVs,more efforts should be made to extend the use of heat pipes for constructing an energy-efficient,cost-effective,and reliable BTMS to improve the performances and safety of EVs.HUANG Yao TANG Yong YUAN Wei FANG GuoYun YANG Yang ZHANG XiaoQing WU YaoPeng YUAN YuHang WANG Chun LI JinGuang 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,5:10

4Leukocyte/platelet hybrid membrane-camouflaged dendritic large pore mesoporous silica nanoparticles co-loaded with photo/chemotherapeutic agents for triple negative breast cancer combination treatment显示文摘Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)is an aggressive subset of breast cancer and currently lacks effective therapeutic targets.As two main phototherapeutic methods,photothermal therapy(PTT)and photodynamic therapy(PDT)show many advantages in TNBC treatment,and their combination with chemotherapy can achieve synergistic therapeutic effects.In the present study,a biomimetic nanoplatform was developed based on leukocyte/platelet hybrid membrane(LPHM)and dendritic large pore mesoporous silicon nanoparticles(DLMSNs).A near infrared(NIR)fluorescent dye IR780 and a chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin(DOX)were co-loaded into the large pores of DLMSNs to prepare DLMSN@DOX/IR780(DDI)nanoparticles(NPs),followed by camouflage with LPHM to obtain LPHM@DDI NPs.Through the mediation of LPHM,LPHM@DDI NPs showed an excellent TNBC-targeting ability and very high PTT/PDT performances in vitro and in vivo.Upon NIR laser irradiation,LPHM@DDI NPs exhibited synergistic cytotoxicity and apoptosis-inducing activity in TNBC cells,and effectively suppressed tumor growth and recurrence in TNBC mice through tumor ablation and anti-angiogenesis.These synergistic effects were sourced from the combination of PTT/PDT and chemotherapy.Altogether,this study offers a promising biomimetic nanoplatform for efficient co-loading and targeted delivery of photo/chemotherapeutic agents for TNBC combination treatment.Tao Zhang Hui Liu Ling Li Zhaoyang Guo Jia Song Xiaoying Yang Guoyun Wan Rongshan Li Yinsong Wang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,11:4
5DENTING AND FAILURE OF LIQUID-FILLED TUBES UNDER LATERAL IMPACT显示文摘In this paper, numerical simulation of impact cases of liquid-filled tube impacted by missiles is conducted with a commercial finite element code LS-DYNA, and the results obtained are compared with the experimental data to verify the validity of the numerical simulation model adopted. With the verified numerical method, the processes of dynamic response of a blunt indenter impacting an empty or liquid-filled three-span continuous tubular beam are studied when the parameter such as the indenter’s mass, liquid’s density or impact velocity is varied and the other conditions are kept the same. The simulation results indicate that the critical perforation energy and the deformation of the wall of the pipe are significantly influenced by the presence of the liquid and the pressure. The liquid filling the tube provides a ‘foundation’ pressure to resist and localize the deformation, which may affect the perforation process and lead to a reduction of the ballistic limit. The simulation results also indicate that the increase of the fluid density filled in the tube will decrease the ballistic limit, but the fluid density must be in some scope. 6Isoscalar-vector interaction and its influence on the hadron-quark phase transition显示文摘The hadron-quark phase transition is studied with the newly constructed Hadron-Poyakov-Nambu- Jona-Lasinio(PNJL) model.Particularly,in the description of quark matter,we include the isoscalar-vector interaction.With the constraints of neutron star observations,our calculation shows the isoscalar-vector interaction between quarks is indispensable if massive hybrids star exist in the universe.Its strength determines the onset density of quark matter,and the mass-radius relations of hybrid stars.Also,as a connection with heavy-ion-collision experiments,we discuss the strength of isoscalar-vector interaction and its effect on the signals of hadron-quark phase transition in heavy-ion collisions,such as NICA at JINR-Dubna and FAIR at GSI-Darmstadt.SHAO Guoyun COLONNA Maria DI TORO Massimo LIU Yuxin LIU Bo 2013Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,5:2
7The RALF1-FERONIA complex interacts with and activates TOR signaling in response to low nutrients显示文摘Target of rapamycin(TOR)kinase is an evolutionarily conserved major regulator of nutrient metabolism and organismal growth in eukaryotes.In plants,nutrients are remobilized and reallocated between shoots and roots under low-nutrient conditions,and nitrogen and nitrogen-related nutrients(e.g.,amino acids)are key upstream signals leading to TOR activation in shoots under low-nutrient conditions.However,how these forms of nitrogen can be sensed to activate TOR in plants is still poorly understood.Here we report that the Arabidopsis receptor kinase FERON IA(FER)interacts with the TOR pathway to regulate nutrient(nitrogen and amino acid)signaling under low-nutrient conditions and exerts similar metabolic effects in response to nitrogen deficiency.We found that FER and its partner,RPM1-induced protein kinase(RIPK),interact with the TOR/RAPTOR complex to positively modulate TOR signaling activity.During this process,the receptor complex FER/RIPK phosphorylates the TOR complex component RAPTOR1B.The RALF1 peptide,a ligand of the FER/RIPK receptor complex,increases TOR activation in the young leaf by enhancing FER-TOR interactions,leading to promotion of true leaf growth in Arabidopsis under lownutrient conditions.Furthermore,we showed that specific amino acids(e.g.,Gin,Asp,and Gly)promote true leaf growth under nitrogen-deficient conditions via the FER-TOR axis.Collectively,our study reveals a mechanism by which the RALF1-FER pathway activates TOR in the plant adaptive response to low nutrients and suggests that plants prioritize nutritional stress response over RALF1-mediated inhibition of cell growth under low-nutrient conditions.Limei Song Guoyun Xu Tingting Li Huina Zhou Qinlu Lin Jia Chen Long Wang Dousheng Wu Xiaoxu Li Lifeng Wang Sirui Zhu Feng Yu 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,7:2
8Identification of Fucans from Four Species of Sea Cucumber by High Temperature ~1H NMR显示文摘Acidic polysaccharide, which has various biological activities, is one of the most important components of sea cucumber. In the present study, crude polysaccharide was extracted from four species of sea cucumber from three different geographical zones, Pearsonothuria graeffei(Pg) from Indo-Pacific, Holothuria vagabunda(Hv) from Norwegian Coast, Stichopus tremulu(St) from Western Indian Ocean, and Isostichopus badionotu(Ib) from Western Atlantic. The polysaccharide extract was separated and purified with a cellulose DEAE anion-exchange column to obtain corresponding sea cucumber fucans(SC-Fucs). The chemical property of these SC-Fucs, including molecular weight, monosaccharide composition and sulfate content, was determined. Their structure was compared simply with fourier infrared spectrum analyzer and identified with high temperature 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum analyzer(NMR) and room temperature 13 C NMR. The results indicated that Fuc-Pg obtained from the torrid zone mainly contained 2,4-O-disulfated and non-sulfated fucose residue, whereas Fuc-Ib from the temperate zone contained non-, 2-O- and 2,4-O-disulfated fucose residue; Fuc-St from the frigid zone and Fuc-Hv from the torrid zone contained mainly non-sulfated fucose residue. The proton of SC-Fucs was better resolved via high temperature 1H NMR than via room temperature 1H NMR. The fingerprint of sea cucumber in different sea regions was established based on the index of anomer hydrogen signal in SC-Fucs. 19Topology Optimization with Aperiodic Load Fatigue Constraints Based on Bidirectional Evolutionary Structural Optimization显示文摘Because of descriptive nonlinearity and computational inefficiency,topology optimization with fatigue life under aperiodic loads has developed slowly.A fatigue constraint topology optimization method based on bidirectional evolutionary structural optimization(BESO)under an aperiodic load is proposed in this paper.In viewof the severe nonlinearity of fatigue damagewith respect to design variables,effective stress cycles are extracted through transient dynamic analysis.Based on the Miner cumulative damage theory and life requirements,a fatigue constraint is first quantified and then transformed into a stress problem.Then,a normalized termination criterion is proposed by approximatemaximum stress measured by global stress using a P-normaggregation function.Finally,optimization examples show that the proposed algorithm can not only meet the requirements of fatigue life but also obtain a reasonable configuration.Yongxin Li Guoyun Zhou Tao Chang Liming Yang Fenghe Wu 2022Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2022,,1:1
