1Reduction of low-grade manganese oxide ore by biomass roasting显示文摘The reduction process of manganese dioxide in low-grade manganese ore by biomass roasting was investigated.The calcine of manganese oxide ore was further leached by sulphuric acid, the manganese in ore can be converted into manganese sulfate.Effects of the mass ratio of manganese ore to sawdust, roasting temperature and time, leaching temperature and time, leaching agent concentration and liquid-solid ratio were studied.97.71% of manganese recovery can be achieved under the optimal conditions:the mass ratio of manganese ore to sawdust of 5:1, roasting temperature at 500℃ for 40 min, leaching temperature at 60℃ for 40 min, sulphuric acid concentration of 1 mol/L and liquid-solid ratio of 10:1.Other types of low-grade manganese ore like Guilin ore, Nanning ore and Gongcheng ore were tested and the same results were obtained.Jingjing SONG Guocai ZHU Ping ZHANG Yuna ZHAO 2010Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2010,23,3:14
2Recovering indium with sulfating roasting from copper-smelting ash显示文摘A technology for recovering indium from Jinchuan copper-smelting ash was developed. Indium in the ash was first enriched to the leaching-slag in leaching process,and then recovered by sulfating roasting. The method included mix-ing the leaching-slag with sulfuric acid,making them into particles,roasting the mixture,and then leaching the calcine with hot water. Above 90% of indium in calcine could be dissolved into the leaching solution. The optimized conditions were determined as follows: the mass ratio of sulfuric acid to leaching slag was 0.1,the roasting time was about 1 to 1.5 h in the temperature range of 200-250°C,and the calcine was leached for 1 h with 5:1 of liquid/solid ratio at 60°C. 4Partitioning properties of rare earth ores in China显示文摘The properties of rare earth partitioning in Chinese industrial rare earth ores were analyzed. Rare earth ores canbe divided into the single-mineral type ore with bastnaesite, the multi-mineral type ore with bastnaesite and monazite, andthe weathering crust type. Both the Bayan Obo rare earth ore and the Zhushan rare earth ore are a kind of mixed ore, con-sisting of bastnaesite and monazite. Their rare earth partitionings are strongly enriched in light rare earths, where CeO2 is50% and the light rare earth partitioning is totally over 95%. The Mianning rare earth ore as well as the Weishan rare earthis a kind of rare earth ore only having bastnaesite. Their rare earth partitionings are also strongly enriched in light rare earths,in which CeO2 is 47% and the light rare earth partitioning is totally over 94%. For the weathering crust type rare earth ore,there are the Longnan rare earth ore, the Xunwu rare earth ore, and the middle yttrium and rich europium ore. In the Long-nan rare earth ore, which is strongly enriched in heavy rare earths, Y2O3 is 64.83%, and the heavy and light rare earthpartitionings are 89.40% and 10.53%, respectively. In the Xunwu rare earth ore, which is strongly enriched in light rareearths, CeO2 is 47.16%, and the light rare earth partitioning is totally 93.25%. Y and Eu are enriched in the middle yttriumand rich europium ore. 7Comparisons of dosimetric properties between GD-300 series of radiophotoluminescent glass detectors and GR-200 series of thermoluminescent detectors显示文摘In order to compare the dosimetric properties of two kinds of solid state detectors used for monitoring ex- ternal exposures,experiments were performed for the GD-300 series of radiophotoluminescent glass detectors (RPLGD)and the GR-200 series of thermoluminescent detectors(TLD).X-rays and ^(137)Cs and ^(60)Coγ-rays were used to irradiate the RPLGDs and TLDs,their dose linearity,uniformity/reproducibility of signal,fading effect and energy dependence were compared.Both kinds of the detectors have generally good dosimetric properties.The dose linearity and energy dependence of the GD-351 dosimeters and the TLDs are nearly the same,but the RPLGD is much better than the TLD in terms of the uniformity and fading effect.ZHUO Weihai LIU Weiqi HUANG Gang ZHU Guoying MA Guocai 2007Nuclear Science and Techniques2007,18,6:6

9Analysis of PM2.5 concentrations in Heilongjiang Province associated with forest cover and other factors显示文摘Atmospheric particulate matter(PM2.5) seriously influences air quality. It is considered one of the main environmental triggers for lung and heart diseases. Air pollutants can be adsorbed by forest. In this study we investigated the effect of forest cover on urban PM2.5 concentrations in 12 cities in Heilongjiang Province,China. The forest cover in each city was constant throughout the study period. The average daily concentration of PM2.5 in 12 cities was below 75 lg/m^3 during the non-heating period but exceeded this level during heating period. Furthermore, there were more moderate pollution days in six cities. This indicated that forests had the ability to reduce the concentration of PM2.5 but the main cause of air pollution was excessive human interference and artificial heating in winter. We classified the 12 cities according to the average PM2.5 concentrations. The relationship between PM2.5 concentrations and forest cover was obtained by integrating forest cover, land area,heated areas and number of vehicles in cities. Finally,considering the complexity of PM2.5 formation and based on the theory of random forestry, we selected six cities and analyzed their meteorological and air pollutant data. 10Wing load investigation of the plunge-diving locomotion of a gannet Morus inspired submersible aircraft显示文摘In this paper,we studied the wing root pivot joint’s radial load of a submersible airplane which imitates the locomotion of gannet’s Morus plunge-diving,by implementing a test device name Mimic-Gannet.The housing of the device was designed by mimicking the morphology of a living gannet,and the folding wings were realized by the mechanism of variable swept back wing.Then,the radial loads of the wing root were obtained under the conditions of different dropping heights,different sweptback angles and different water-entry inclination angles(i.e.,the angle between the longitudinal body axis and the water surface),and the relationships between the peak radial load and the above three parameters were analyzed and discussed respectively.In the studied areas,the minimum peak radial load of the pivot joint is 50.93 N,while the maximum reaches up to1135.00 N.The largest peak load would be generated for the situation of vertical water entry and zero wing sweptback angle.And it is of great significance to choose the three parameters properly to reduce the pivot joint’s radial load,i.e.,larger wing sweptback angle,smaller dropping height and water-entry inclination angle.It is also concluded that the peak radial load on the wing root is closely linear with the water-entry dropping height and the wing sweptback angle with a significant correlation.Eventually,the relationship between the wing load and the dropping height,water-entry inclination angle or wing sweptback angle,could be used to calculate the wing load about plunge-diving of a submersible aircraft,and the conclusions reveal the wing load characteristic of the gannet’s plunge process for the biologists.LIANG JianHong YAO GuoCai WANG TianMiao YANG XingBang ZHAO WenDi SONG Gang ZHANG YuCheng 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,2:5
11Bushen Qiangjin capsule(补肾强筋胶囊) inhibits the Wnt/β-catenin pathway to ameliorate papain-induced knee osteoarthritis in rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the molecular mechanism underlying the beneficial effect of Bushen Qiangjin capsule(补肾强筋胶囊,BSQJ),a Traditional Chinese Medicine,on knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS:In the present study,32 female Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups:control,KOA,high-dose BSQJ(H-BSQJ),and low-dose BSQJ(L-BSQJ).After successfully establishing the KOA model by intra-articular injection of papain,H-BSQJ and L-BSQJ groups were intragastrically administered 0.243 and 0.122 g/kg BSQJ,respectively,daily for 6 weeks.At the end of the experiment,knee articular cartilage tissues of rats were collected for evaluation by hematoxylin and eosin staining,Safranin O-Fast Green staining,and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated d UTP nick-end labeling assay.Serum interleukin-1βand tumor necrosis factor-αlevels of rats were detected with an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method.Gene expression of Wnt-4,β-catenin,Frizzled-2,glycogen synthase kinase-3β(GSK-3β),cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteinases 3 and 9(caspases 3 and 9),collagen typeⅡalpha 1(Col2 a1),and matrix metalloproteinases 1 and 13(MMP-1 and MMP-3)of rat knee articular cartilage was quantified by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis.Wnt-4,β-catenin,Frizzled-2,GSK-3β,cleaved caspase-3,and cleaved caspase-9 protein expression in rat knee articular cartilage was determined by western blot analysis.RESULTS:BSQJ obviously reduced pathological damage and matrix degradation of articular cartilage in KOA rats.Compared with the KOA group,H-BSQJ rats exhibited downregulated m RNA and protein expression of Wnt-4,β-catenin,Frizzled-2,and caspase-3,as well as upregulated m RNA and protein expression of GSK-3β.In addition,H-BSQJ significantly increased m RNA expression of Col2 a1 and decreased m RNA expression of MMP-1 and MMP-13.CONCLUSION:BSQJ exerted a beneficial effect on KOA by a mechanism involving downregulation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway,which inhibited both cartilage extracellular matrix degradation and chondrocyte apoptosis to ameliorate KOA in rats.YAO Nan CHEN Guocai LU Yanyan XU Xuemeng ZHAO Chuanxi HUANG Xuejun LIU Wengang PENG Sha WU Huai 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,6:5
12Quantum information and many body physics with cold atoms显示文摘We review our recent theoretical advances in quantum information and many body physics with cold atoms in various external potential, such as harmonic potential, kagome optical lattice, triangular optical lattice, and honeycomb lattice. The many body physics of cold atom in harmonic potential is investigated in the frame of mean-field Gross-Pitaevskii equation. Then the quantum phase transition and strongly correlated effect of cold atoms in triangular optical lattice, and the interacting Dirac fermions on honeycomb lattice, are investigated by using cluster dynamical mean-field theory and continuous time quantum Monte Carlo method. 14Reduction of Low-grade Manganese Dioxide Ore Pellets by Biomass Wheat Stalk显示文摘An investigation on reducing low-grade manganese dioxide ore pellets was carried out by using wheat stalk as reductant. The main impact factors of reduction percent such as particle size, biomass/ore ratio, heating rate, nitrogen flow rate, temperature and time in reduction process were discussed. The morphology and component of manganese dioxide ore particle at different stages were also analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). The results show the increase of the reduction temperature and time, biomass/ore ratio, and the decrease of particle size, heating rate and nitrogen flow rate can significantly enhance reduction efficiency. The reduction kinetic of the manganese ore is controlled by three-dimensional mass diffusion of gaseous reductive volatiles passing from the surface to the core of the ore particles. The activation energy E and frequency factor A were calculated to be 24.15 kJ · mol-1 and 166 min-1 , respectively. 15Effects of isoflurane on ICAM-1 expression and neutrophils infiltration in rats with liver ischemia and reperfusion injury显示文摘Objective: To establish a rat model of warm partial hepatic ischemia-reperfusion (IR), and investigate the protective and anti-inflammatory effects of isoflurane on warm hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) in rats. Methods: Thirty-two female Sprague-Dawley rats were divided equally into 4 groups (n=8): PB-Sham group in which the rats were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection of pentobarbital sodium (1.0%, 40 mg/kg, PB) and received a sham operation without occlusion of liver blood flow; PB-IR group whose rats underwent partial hepatic IR after anesthesia; Iso-Sham group in which inhalation of 1.0 MAC isoflurane and sham operation was performed; Iso-IR group in which 1.0 MAC isoflurane was inhaled for 4 h and IR was performed. Rat model of warm partial hepatic IR was established by clamping the hepatic arteries and hilar vessels distributing to the left and median lobes to induce partial hepatic ischemia (70%) for 60 min followed by reperfusion for 3 h. The rats were killed 3 h after declamping, and specimens of liver tissue and blood were obtained. The serum ALT and AST were detected as liver damage markers. Viability of myeloperoxidase (MPO) in liver was measured. The protein level of ICAM-1 in the liver was detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blotting. Results: Rats treated with 1.0 MAC isoflurane during warm partial (70%) hepatic ischemia 60 min and 3 h reperfusion had significantly lower serum ALT and AST compared with rats anesthetized with pentobarbital sodium subjected to hepatic IRI. The expression of ICAM-1 in hepatic tissue was significantly increased by hepatic IRI after pentobarbital sodium anesthesia. Isoflurane significantly inhibited protein expression of ICAM-1 in hepatic IR injury compared with pentobarbital sodium anesthesia. Viability of liver MPO was significantly increased by hepatic IRI after pentobarbital sodium anesthesia; Isoflurane can significantly inhibit MPO alteration in rat liver ischemia-reperfusion injury compared with rats anesthetized with pentobarbital sodium. 17High-throughput sequencing analysis of the regulation of intestinal flora in giant pandas with indigestion using a probiotic agent LyPB显示文摘This study aimed to investigate the eff ect of LyPB on the intestinal microfl ora of giant pandas with indigestion,using high-throughput sequencing(HTS)technology.The species distribution and microfl oral density and diversity before and after administration of the LyPB probiotic agent were analyzed.LyPB evidently has the ability to adjust the fl oral imbalance in the panda’s intestine.To test the eff ects of LyPB on the microfl ora of the panda gut,fecal samples were taken from a healthy giant panda(Anan)without administration of LyPB and from a dyspeptic giant panda Yangyang before and after LyPB administration.Compared with the sample obtained from healthy Anan(anan-c)and that obtained from dyspeptic Yangyang before LyPB administration(yangyang1),the sample taken from Yangyang(yangyang2)after LyPB administration displayed a signifi cant increase in the operational taxonomic unit index.An increase in the Chao index indicated an increase in the microfl oral richness,while an increase in the Shannon index indicated an increase in microfl oral diversity.At phylum and genus levels,a signifi cant increase was observed in the density of probiotic bacteria of phylum fi rmicutes,genus Streptococcus,while a drastic reduction in the density of Escherichia coli/Escherichia coli Shigella/bacteria of genus Shigella was observed.Data obtained in this study shows that LyPB preparations successfully improve the microbial structure within the panda’s intestinal canal by signifi cantly increasing the eff ective microbial community and decreasing the number of pathogenic microbes.Yu Zhang Zhi Zhang Jianzhang Ma Bo Luo Guiquan Zhang Guocai Zhang Kexin Yang Gang Wei 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,6:3
18An investigation on stability of biomass reduced manganese dioxide ore显示文摘In this study,how to improve the stability of reduced manganese oxide ore was discussed by investigating reoxidation conditions and kinetics mechanism in the cooling process of manganese dioxide ore reduced by biomass.The effects of the temperature and time,chip size of biomass,raw materials thickness and different additives on stability of the products were determined.The valence variation of manganese in ore and the reoxidation kinetics of reduced products were studied.The results show that decrease of reduction temperature and time,and increase of raw materials thickness and little H2SO4 additive are favorable for the stability of the reduced products.The kinetics mechanism of the reoxidation is controlled by diffusion with dynamic apparent activation energy of E1=25.10 kJ·mol-1,and conformation of manganese in the process is changed from MnO to Mn3O4.Honglei ZHANG Guocai ZHU Hong YAN Yuna ZHAO Fangpu CHEN Wenjuan WANG 2012Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2012,25,6:2
