| 1 | Portfolio selection: a fuzzy-ANP approach显示文摘This study developed specific criteria and a fuzzy analytic network process(FANP)to assess and select portfolios on the Tehran Stock Exchange(TSE).Although the portfolio selection problem has been widely investigated,most studies have focused on income and risk as the main decision-making criteria.However,there are many other important criteria that have been neglected.To fill this gap,first,a literature review was conducted to determine the main criteria for portfolio selection,and a Likert-type questionnaire was then used to finalize a list of criteria.Second,the finalized criteria were applied in an FANP to rank 10 different TSE portfolios.The results indicated that profitability,growth,market,and risk are the most important criteria for portfolio selection.Additionally,portfolios 6,7,2,4,8,1,5,3,9,and 10(A6,A7,A2,A4,A8,A1,A5,A3,A9,and A10)were found to be the best choices.Implications and directions for future research are discussed. | Masoud Rahiminezhad Galankashi Farimah Mokhatab Rafiei Maryam Ghezelbash | 2020 | Financial Innovation2020,6,1: | 3 |
| 2 | Prospectivity modeling of porphyry copper deposits: recognition of efficient mono-and multi-element geochemical signatures in the Varzaghan district, NW Iran显示文摘The Varzaghan district at the northwestern margin of the Urumieh–Dokhtar magmatic arc, is considered a promising area for the exploration of porphyry Cu deposits in Iran. In this study we identified mono-and multi-element geochemical anomalies associated with Cu–Au–Mo–Bi mineralization in the central parts of the Varzaghan district by applying the concentration–area fractal method. After mono-element geochemical investigations, principal component analysis was applied to ten selected elements in order to acquire a multi-element geochemical signature based on the mineralization-related component. Quantitative comparisons of the obtained fractal-based populations were carried out in accordance with known Cu occurrences using Student's t-values. Then,significant mono-and multi-element geochemical layers were separately combined with related geologic and structural layers to generate prospectivity models, using the fuzzy GAMMA approach. For quantitative evaluation of the effectiveness of different geochemical signatures in final prospectivity models, a prediction-area plot was adapted. | 15 | Protective Roles of Shilajit in Modulating Resistin,Adiponectin,and Cytokines in Rats with Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the effect of Shilajit,a medicine of Ayurveda,on the serum changes in cytokines and adipokines caused by non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods:After establishing fatty liver models by feeding a high-fat diet(HFD)for 12 weeks,35 Wistar male rats were randomly divided into5 groups,including control(standard diet),Veh(HFD+vehicle),high-dose Shilajit[H-Sh,HFD+250 mg/(kg·d)Shilajit],low-dose Shilajit[L-Sh,HFD+150 mg/(kg·d)Shilajit],and pioglitazone[HFD+10 mg/(kg·d)pioglitazone]groups,7 rats in each group.After 2-week of gavage administration,serum levels of glucose,insulin,interleukin1 beta(IL-1β),IL-6,IL-10,tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),adiponectin,and resistin were measured,and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)was calculated.Results:After NAFLD induction,the serum level of IL-10 significantly increased and serum IL-1β,TNF-αlevels significantly decreased by injection of both doses of Shilajit and pioglitazone(P<0.05).Increases in serum glucose level and homeostasis model of HOMA-IR were reduced by L-Sh and H-Sh treatment in NAFLD rats(P<0.05).Both doses of Shilajit increased adiponectin and decreased serum resistin levels(P<0.05).Conclusion:The probable protective role of Shilajit in NAFLD model rats may be via modulating the serum levels of IL-1β,TNF-α,IL-10,adipokine and resistin,and reducing of HOMA-IR. | Baran Ghezelbash Nader Shahrokhi Mohammad Khaksari Gholamreza Asadikaram Maryam Shahrokhi Sara Shirazpour | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2022,28,6: | 0 |
| 16 | Isolation of an antibiotic producer Pseudomonas sp.from the Persian Gulf显示文摘Objective:To investigate the isolation of marine antibiotic-producing bacteria from the Persian Gulf,as an untapped source for searching new natural antibiotics.Methods:Initially water and sediment samples were collected from 18 study sites in the some northern areas of Persian Gulf.All of the bacterial isolates using Marine Agar 2216 were inoculated into Marine broth and incubated on a rotary shaker at 28℃for 2-7 days.Bioactivily of their ethyl acetate extract was assessed at 100 mg/mL concentration in disc diffusion method against 6 gram-positive and 5 gram-negative bacteria.Synthetic antibiotics were used as control.Results:Altogether,46 bacterial colonies were isolated.Only one isolate from a marine sediment sample collected at a depth of 10 m,identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa PG-01,was exhibited the capability of antibiotic production.The obtained raw extract from intended bacterium was effective against all tested gram positive bacteria while gram negative bacteria were resistance.Methicillin resisitant Stapuylococcus aureus(MRSA),Streptococcus pyogenes(S.pyogenes).Staphylococcus epidermidis (S.epidermidis) and Bacillus cereus(B.cereus) were the most sensitive strains.All of tested pathogens were multidrug resistant.The antibacterial compound from this bacterium was active even at 120℃.The optimized temperature and time for antibacterial metabolite production were 37℃and 72 hrs,respectively.Conclusions:Considering the antibacterial effect of Pseudomonas aeruginosa PG-01 especially against MRSA,it can be regarded the intended bacterium as a valuable strain and can give hope for treatment of diseases caused by multidrug resistant bacteria. | Esmaeil Darabpour Mohammad Roayaei Ardakani Hossein Motamedi Gholamreza Ghezelbash Mohammad Taghi Ronagh | 2010 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2010,3,4: | 0 |
| 17 | Assessing Doppler velocities of Rankin Inlet F-region echoes显示文摘Doppler velocities observed by the Rankin Inlet (RKN) PolarDARN radar are assessed with a focus on data in the beams oriented roughly along the magnetic meridian. Hourly scatter plots for every month are built. They are shown to vary widely, with median values showing very clear magnetic local time variation with maximum magnitude during pre-noon and pre-midnight hours. The histograms contain a significant amount of very small velocity data that dominates at farther ranges and during the daytime. Near noon data show generally antisunward flows but at large ranges/magnetic latitudes and very close to noon, sunward flows occur for periods of positive IMF B z . The reverse flows are stronger during spring equinox. The velocity magnitude was found to depend linearly on the IMF B z and interplanetary electric field.
