2RPE Query Processing and Optimization Techniques for XML Databases显示文摘An extent join to compute path expressions containing parent-children and ancestor-descendent operations and two path expression optimization rules, path-shortening and path-complementing, are presented in this paper. 3Detection of CYP2E1,a Genetic Biomarker of Susceptibility to Benzene Metabolism Toxicity in Immortal Human Lymphocytes Derived from the Han Chinese Population显示文摘Objective Cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) is an important metabolizing enzyme involved in oxidative stress responses to benzene,a chemical associated with bone marrow toxicity and leukemia.We aimed to identify the CYP2E1 genetic biomarkers of susceptibility to benzene toxicity in support of environmental and occupational exposure prevention,and to test whether a model using immortal human lymphocytes might be an efficient tool for detecting genetic biomarkers.Methods Immortalized human lymphocyte cell lines with independent genotypes on four CYP2E1 SNP sites were induced with 0.01% phenol,a metabolite of benzene.CYP2E1 gene function was evaluated by mRNA expression and enzyme activity.DNA damage was measured by Single‐Cell Gel Electrophoresis (SCGE).Results Among the four SNPs,cells with rs2070673TT and rs2030920CC showed higher levels of CYP2E1 transcription and enzymatic activity than the other genotypes in the same SNP site.Cells with higher gene expression genotypes also showed higher comet rates compared with lower gene expression genotypes.Conclusion These results suggest that CYP2E1 rs2070673 and rs2030920 might be the genetic biomarkers of susceptibility to benzene toxicity and that the immortalized human lymphocytes model might be an efficient tool for the detection of genetic biomarkers of susceptibility to chemicals.ZHANG Juan YIN LiHong LIANG GeYu LIU Ran FAN KaiHong PU YuePu 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,3:4
4Microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis of Pt/SnO2 gas sensor for CO detection显示文摘In this paper,the Pt/SnO2 nanostructures were prepared via a facile one-step microwave assisted hydrothermal route.The structure of the introduced Pt/SnO2 and its gas-sensing properties toward CO were investigated.The results from the TEM test reveal that Pt grows on the SnO2 nanostructure,which was not found for bulk in this situ method,constructing Pt/SnO2.The results indicated that the sensor using 3.0 wt%Pt/SnO2 to 100 ppm carbon monoxide performed a superior sensing properties compared to 1.5 wt%and 4.5 wt%Pt/SnO2 at 225℃.The response time of 3.0 wt%sensor is 16 s to 100 ppm CO at225℃.Such enhanced gas sensing performances could be attributed to the chemical and electrical factors.In view of chemical factors,the presence of Pt facilitates the surface reaction,which will improve the gas sensing properties.With respect to the electrical factors,the Pt/SnO2 plays roles in increasing the sensor’s response due to its characteristic configuration.In addition,the one-step in situ microwave assisted process provides a promising and versatile choice for the preparation of gas sensing materials.Qingji Wang Liwen Bao Zongqiang Cao Chaoyang Li Xu Li Fangmeng Liu Peng Sun Geyu Lu 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,8:4
5Pulmonary toxicity induced by three forms of titanium dioxide nanoparticles via intra-tracheal instillation in rats显示文摘Titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles are in wide commercial use worldwide. To evaluate if acute pulmonary toxicity can be induced by nano-TiO2 particles, rats were intra-tracheally instilled with 0.5, 5, or 50 mg/kg of 5, 21, and 50 nm TiO2 primary particles. Toxic effects were determined with the coefficients of lung tissues to body weight, histopathology, biochemical parameters of blood, activity of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and acid phosphatase (ACP) in tissues, and the phagocytotic ability of alveolar macrophages (AMs). All the indicators were observed in sacrificed rats one week post-exposure. There was a significant difference of coefficients of pulmonary tissues between the high-dose group and the low-or moderate-dose groups with an exposure of 5 nm TiO2. At the same time, 5 nm TiO2 primary particles increased the activity of LDH and ALP when exposure dose was >5 mg/kg. A significant difference in LDH and ALP activity was observed between the 50 mg/kg group and 0.5 or 5 mg/kg group with exposure of 5 nm TiO2. Lung tissues showed increased ALP activity only if treated with 5 and 50 mg/kg of 21 nm TiO2 particles. There was no significant difference in LDH and ALP activity in the 50 nm TiO2 group and control group. Histo-pathologic examination of lung tissues indicated that the pulmonary response to exposure to TiO2 particles in rats manifested as dose-dependent inflammatory lesions, which mainly consisted of inflltration of inflammatory cells and interstitial thickening. Analysis of uptake of neutral red dye showed that 50 nm TiO2 particles significantly increased phagocytotic ability of AMs compared with controls (P<0.05), whereas exposure with 5 nm TiO2 reduced the phagocytotic ability of AMs when the exposure dose was 50 mg/kg. These results suggest that particle size and exposure dose may have important roles in pulmonary toxicity. The toxic effect of TiO2 nanopar-ticles in lung tissue exhibited a dose-response relationship. After exposure with TiO2 particles of >5.0 mg/kg, 5 and 21 nm TiO2 particles induced standing pulmonary lesions; and 5 nm TiO2 particles may suppress the phagocytotic ability of AMs if exposure dose was P50 mg/kg. 6Interface Reversible Electric Field Regulated by Amphoteric Charged Protein-Based Coating Toward High-Rate and Robust Zn Anode显示文摘Metallic interface engineering is a promising strategy to stabilize Zn anode via promoting Zn^(2+) uniform deposition.However,strong interactions between the coating and Zn^(2+) and sluggish transport of Zn^(2+) lead to high anodic polarization.Here,we present a bio-inspired silk fibroin(SF)coating with amphoteric charges to construct an interface reversible electric field,which manipulates the transfer kinetics of Zn^(2+) and reduces anodic polarization.The alternating positively and negatively charged surface as a build-in driving force can expedite and homogenize Zn^(2+) flux via the inter-play between the charged coating and adsorbed ions,endowing the Zn-SF anode with low polarization voltage and stable plating/stripping.Experimental analyses with theo-retical calculations suggest that SF can facilitate the desolvation of[Zn(H_(2)O)_(6)]^(2+) and provide nucleation sites for uniform deposition.Consequently,the Zn-SF anode delivers a high-rate performance with low voltage polarization(83 mV at 20 mA cm^(−2)) and excellent stability(1500 h at 1 mA cm^(−2);500 h at 10 mA cm^(−2)),realizing exceptional cumulative capacity of 2.5 Ah cm^(−2).The full cell coupled with Zn_(x)V_(2)O_(5)·nH_(2)O(ZnVO)cathode achieves specific energy of~270.5/150.6 Wh kg^(−1)(at 0.5/10 A g^(−1))with-99.8% Coulombic efficiency and retains~80.3%(at 5.0 A g^(−1))after 3000 cycles.Meihua Zhu Qing Ran Houhou Huang Yunfei Xie Mengxiao Zhong Geyu Lu Fu-Quan Bai Xing-You Lang Xiaoteng Jia Danming Chao 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12:2

9Self-Assembly 3D Porous Crumpled MXene Spheres as Efficient Gas and Pressure Sensing Material for Transient All-MXene Sensors显示文摘Environmentally friendly degradable sensors with both hazardous gases and pressure efficient sensing capabilities are highly desired for various promising applications,including environmental pollution monitoring/prevention,wisdom medical,wearable smart devices,and artificial intelligence.However,the transient gas and pressure sensors based on only identical sensing material that concurrently meets the above detection needs have not been reported.Here,we present transient all-MXene NO_(2) and pressure sensors employing three-dimensional porous crumpled MXene spheres prepared by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis technology as the sensing layer,accompanied with water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol substrates embedded with patterned MXene electrodes.The gas sensor achieves a ppb-level of highly selective NO_(2) sensing,with a response of up to 12.11%at 5 ppm NO_(2) and a detection range of 50 ppb-5 ppm,while the pressure sensor has an extremely wide linear pressure detection range of 0.14-22.22 kPa and fast response time of 34 ms.In parallel,all-MXene NO_(2) and pressure sensors can be rapidly degraded in medical H_(2)O_(2) within 6 h.This work provides a new avenue toward environmental monitoring,human physiological signal monitoring,and recyclable transient electronics.Zijie Yang Siyuan Lv Yueying Zhang Jing Wang Li Jiang Xiaoteng Jia Chenguang Wang Xu Yan Peng Sun Yu Duan Fangmeng Liu Geyu Lu 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,4:1
