5Dissociation characteristics of methane hydrate using depressurization combined with thermal stimulation显示文摘Methane hydrate is considered as a potential energy source in the future due to its abundant reserves and high energy density.To investigate the influence of initial hydrate saturation,production pressure,and the temperature of thermal stimulation on gas production rate and cumulative gas production percentage,we conducted the methane hydrate dissociation experiments using depressurization,thermal stimulation and a combination of two methods in this study.It is found that when the gas production pressures are the same,the higher the hydrate initial saturation,the greater change in hydrate reservoir temperature.Therefore,it is easier to appear the phenomenon of icing and hydrate reformation when the hydrate saturation is higher.For example,the reservoir temperature dropped to below zero in depressurization process when the hydrate saturation was about 37%.However,the same phenomenon didn’t appear as the saturation was about 12%.This may be due to more free gas in the reservoir with hydrate saturated of 37%.We also find that the temperature variation of reservoir can be reduced effectively by combination of depressurization and thermal stimulation method.And the average gas production rate is highest with combined method in the experiments.When the pressure of gas production is 2 MPa,compared with depressurization,the average of gas production can increase 54%when the combined method is used.The efficiency of gas production is very low when thermal stimulation was used alone.When the temperature of thermal stimulation is 11℃,the average rate of gas production in the experiment of thermal stimulation is less than 1/3 of that in the experiment of the combined method.Mingjun Yang Zhanquan Ma Yi Gao Lanlan Jiang 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,9:5

7Bioprinting of novel 3D tumor array chip for drug screening显示文摘Biomedical field has been seeking a feasible standard drug screening system consisting of 3D tumor model array for drug researching due to providing sufficient samples and simulating actual in vivo tumor growth situation,which is still a challenge to rapidly and uniformly establish though.Here,we propose a novel drug screening system,namely 3D tumor array chip with“layer cake”structure,for drug screening.Accurate gelatin methacryloyl hydrogel droplets(~0.1μL)containing tumor cells can be automatically deposited on demand with electrohydrodynamic 3D printing.Transparent conductive membrane is introduced as a chip basement for preventing charges accumulation during fabricating and convenient observing during screening.Culturing chambers formed by stainless steel and silicon interlayer is convenient to be assembled and recycled.As this chip is compatible with the existing 96-well culturing plate,the drug screening protocols could keep the same as convention.Important properties of this chip,namely printing stability,customizability,accuracy,microenvironment,tumor functionalization,are detailly examined.As a demonstration,it is applied for screening of epirubicin and paclitaxel with breast tumor cells to confirm the compatibility of the proposed screening system with the traditional screening methods.We believe this chip will potentially play a significant role in drug evaluation in the future.Mingjun Xie Qing Gao Jianzhong Fu Zichen Chen Yong He 2020Bio-Design and Manufacturing2020,3,3:3
8The integration of transcriptomic and transgenic analyses reveals the involvement of the SA response pathway in the defense of chrysanthemum against the necrotrophic fungus Alternaria sp.显示文摘Chrysanthemum morifolium cv.‘Huaihuang’has ornamental,edible,medicinal,and tea product uses.However,its field growth,yield,and quality are negatively affected by black spot disease caused by Alternaria sp.(Strain:HQJH10092301;GenBank accession number:KF688111).In this study,we transcriptionally and transgenically characterized a new cultivar,‘Huaiju 2#’(Henan Traditional Chinese Medicine Plant Cultivar identification number:2016002),which was bred from‘Huaihuang’and shows resistance to Alternaria sp.Numerous‘Huaiju 2#’plants were inoculated with Alternaria sp.for three or five days.Metabolic analysis showed increases in both salicylic acid(SA)and jasmonic acid(JA)in infected plants compared to the control.Protein activity analysis also revealed a significant increase in defense enzyme activities in infected plants.RNA-Seq of plants infected for 3 or 5 days produced a total of 58.6 GB of clean reads.Among these reads,16,550 and 13,559 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were identified in Cm_3 dpi(sample from 3 days post-inoculation labeled as Cm_3 dpi)and Cm_5 dpi(sample from 5 days post-inoculation labeled as Cm_5 dpi),respectively,compared with their controls(Cm_0 d:a mixture samples from 0 d(before inoculation)and those treated with sterile distilled water at 3 dpi and 5 dpi).Gene annotation and cluster analysis of the DEGs revealed a variety of defense responses to Alternaria sp.infection,which were characterized by increases in resistance(R)proteins and the reactive oxygen species(ROS),Ca2+,mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),and JA signaling pathways.In particular,SA signaling was highly responsive to Alternaria sp.infection.The qPCR analysis of 12 DEG candidates supported their differential expression characterized by using the RNA-Seq data.One candidate was CmNPR1(nonexpressor of pathogenesis-related gene 1),an important positive regulator of SA in systemic acquired resistance(SAR).Overexpression of CmNPR1 in‘Huaiju 2#’increased the resistance of transgenic plants to black spot.These findings indicate that the SA response pathway is likely involved in the defense of‘Huaiju 2#’against Alternaria sp.pathogens.Xiting Zhao Lingyu Song Liwei Jiang Yuting Zhu Qinghui Gao Dandan Wang Jing Xie Meng Lv Ping Liu Mingjun Li 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:3
9The FMEDA Based DC Calculation for Railway Safety Computer显示文摘This paper presents a new algorithm to compute the Diagnostic coverage(DC) for railway safety computer using the Failure modes effects and diagnostic analysis(FMEDA) theory. The importance to work out the DC accurately is stressed. A certain type of railway safety computer's output element is taken as an example to show how the DC is worked out using the FMEDA method. The probability of dangerous failures per hour(PFH) of one certain safety computer is obtained considering the DC.The final results show that the DC is 99.6% and the PFH of the safety is 1.165 fit, which means 1.165 dangerous failures may occur during 1 billion hours' working time,running up to the requirement of the Safety integrity level4(SIL4). 16Measurement of water quality in LHAASO-WCDA显示文摘Introduction The water Cherenkov detector array(WCDA)is an important detector in the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory(LHAASO),which is tasked with continuously surveying VHE gamma-rays sky.The WCDA covers an area of 78,000 m2 and contains 350,000 tons of purified water.The water quality and its stability are critical for its performance and long-term operation.Method Light is exponentially attenuated when propagating in water.Water attenuation length can be obtained by comparing light intensities at different optical path lengths,which is the basic principle of direct measurements.Here,a cylindrical device was designed to continuously monitor and measure water quality in the LHAASO-WCDA.Conclusion The systematic error of the cylindrical device was about 4.1%,indicating it is capable of measuring the water attenuation length in WCDA.Furthermore,suspended particle number and turbidity were confirmed as significantly related to the measured attenuation length.Huicai Li Mingjun Chen Bo Gao Huihai He Cheng Liu Kai Li Bodong Wang Xiaohao You Yuelei Zhang 2023Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2023,7,2:0

20Design and Fabrication of Reflective Phase Shifter for Two-Dimensional Terahertz Beam-Scanning Reflectarray显示文摘A reflective phase shifter is proposed to realize the two-dimensional beam-scanning reflectarray.The reflectarray is composed of double-dipole resonant elements in which the phase shift is implemented by applying a driving voltage to the liquid crystal(LC). A 30 ×30 phase shifter sample is fabricated on a quartz substrate with a 480 μm thickness and a 4 cm × 4 cm area.According to the experimental results, 0 to 360° phase shift can be achieved within the bandwidth of 5 GHz. In order to accomplish two-dimensional beam-scanning and reduce the negative impact of driving lines on the reflectarray, a new LC driving method is developed. To verify the accuracy of the proposed approach, three samples of different driving line numbers are designed using the above-mentioned phase shifter, which all have achieved a0-360° phase shift in the bandwidth of 4 GHz.
