2Advances in immuno-oncology biomarkers for gastroesophageal cancer:programmed death ligand 1,microsatellite instability,and beyond显示文摘Blockade of the programmed death ligand 1(PD-L1) and programmed cell death 1(PD-1) receptor axis represents an effective form of cancer immunotherapy. Preclinical evidence initially suggested that gastric and gastroesophageal junction(GEJ) cancers are potentially immunotherapy-sensitive tumors. Early phase clinical trials have demonstrated promising antitumor activity with PD-1/PD-L1 blockade in advanced or metastatic gastric/GEJ cancer. Microsatellite instability(MSI) and PD-L1 expression have been shown to predict higher response to PD-1 inhibitors as highlighted by the recent approvals of pembrolizumab in treatmentrefractory solid tumors with MSI status and the thirdline or greater treatment of PD-L1 positive advanced gastric/GEJ cancers. However, predictive and prognostic biomarkers remain an ongoing need. In this review, we detail the preclinical evidence and early tissue biomarker analyses illustrating potential predictive biomarkers to PD-1/PD-L1 blockade in gastric/GEJ cancer. 6Numerical and safety considerations about the Daguangbao landslide induced by the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘The 2008 Wenchuan earthquake resulted in a large number of fatalities and caused significant economic losses.Thousands of landslides,many of which are very large,were triggered by the earthquake.A majority of catastrophic landslides were distributed along the central Longmenshan fault system,at the eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau.Some of the landslides resulted in sudden damming of rivers causing flooding,which in turn induced secondary sliding disasters.Among the most significant landslides,the Daguangbao landslide was the largest in volume with the maximum thickness.For this,a numerical model of the Daguangbao landslide,using the material point method(MPM),was developed to simulate the interaction of the seismic loads imposed on the slope.The numerical results then are compared with the post-earthquake profile.As a consequence of the landslide,a nearly vertical head scarp with a maximum height of about 700 m was generated.This is considered as a high risk situation that requires constant monitoring and evaluation.Finally,we propose a methodology based on Bayesian networks(BNs)to manage the risk associated with the stability of the rockwall at the Daguangbao landslide site.Manchao He L.Ribeiro e Sousa AndréMüller Eurípedes Vargas Jr. R.L.Sousa C.Sousa Oliveira Weili Gong 2019Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2019,11,5:4

8Plasmonic-enhanced two-photon fluorescence with single gold nanoshell显示文摘Single gold nanoshell with mutilpolar plasmon resonances is proposed to enhance two-photon fluorescence efficiently.The single emitter single nanoshell configuration is studied systematically by employing the finite-difference time-domain method.The emitter located inside or outside the nanoshell at various positions leads to a significantly different enhancement effect.The fluorescent emitter placed outside the nanoshell can achieve large fluorescence intensity given that both the position and orientation of the emission dipole are optimally controlled.In contrast,for the case of the emitter placed inside the nanoshell,it can experience substantial two-photon fluorescence enhancement without strict requirements upon the position and dipole orientations.Metallic nanoshell encapsulating many fluorescent emitters should be a promising nanocomposite configuration for bright two-photon fluorescence label.The results provide a comprehensive understanding about the plasmonic-enhanced two-photon fluorescence behaviors,and the nanocomposite configuration has great potential for optical detecting,imaging and sensing in biological applications.ZHANG TianYue LU GuoWei SHEN HongMing Perriat P Martini M Tillement O GONG QiHuang 2014Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,6:2
