| 2 | Estimating significant wave height from SAR imagery based on an SVM regression model显示文摘A new method for estimating significant wave height(SWH) from advanced synthetic aperture radar(ASAR) wave mode data based on a support vector machine(SVM) regression model is presented. The model is established based on a nonlinear relationship between σ0, the variance of the normalized SAR image, SAR image spectrum spectral decomposition parameters and ocean wave SWH. The feature parameters of the SAR images are the input parameters of the SVM regression model, and the SWH provided by the European Centre for Medium-range Weather Forecasts(ECMWF) is the output parameter. On the basis of ASAR matching data set, a particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm is used to optimize the input kernel parameters of the SVM regression model and to establish the SVM model. The SWH estimation results yielded by this model are compared with the ECMWF reanalysis data and the buoy data. The RMSE values of the SWH are 0.34 and 0.48 m, and the correlation coefficient is 0.94 and 0.81, respectively. The results show that the SVM regression model is an effective method for estimating the SWH from the SAR data. | 3 | Research on Dinoasur Footprints in Zizhou, Shaanxi Province, China显示文摘In recent years,the discoveries of dinosaur footprints have been successively reported from Dianshi Town,Zizhou City,Shaanxi Province.The footprints include the tracks of theropod,ornithopod and sauropod as well.Actually,the dinosaur footprints were found by local inhabitants much earlier in history,but not for science.The slabs bearing the dinosaur footprints were collected for domestic use,such as building stones,millstones,cellar covers,sheepfold fences,windlass holders,etc.This paper is to describe the dinosaur footprints on both sides of three slabs used for cellar covers,sheepfold fences and windlass holders by the local people.24 dinosaur footprints and 4 trackways have been recognized and all of them belong to theropod.Four kinds of dinosaur footprints are identified,including 1 new ichnogenus and 2 new ichnospecies:(1)Shanbeipus caudatus ichnogen.et ichnosp.nov.;(2)Pengxianpus yulinensis ichnosp.nov.;(3)Eubrontes ichnosp;(4)Kayentapus ichnosp.Dinosaur-footprint-bearing beds were initially identified as the Fuxian Formation of the Lower Jurassic.Multipal dinosaur footprints associated with fragment plant fossils suggest a humid fluviolacustrine environment setting in the Ordos Basin during the early period of the Jurassic. | WANG Baopeng LI Jianjun BAI Zhiqiang GAO Junmin DONG Shurong HU Bailin ZHAO Suiqin CHANG Jieqiong | 2016 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2016,90,1: | 2 |

| 9 | Genesis and significance of quartz cement in sandstones显示文摘Quartz cement as syntaxial overgrowths is one of the most abundant cements in sandstones. Distribution of quartz cement in time and space indicates that the more younger the stratigraphy is, the more smaller the amount of quartz cement, and the amount of quartz cement increases with increasing of depth and basin type also is a factor which controls the amount of quartz cement. The sources of silica for quartz cement have many different opinions, but there is one or more dominant sources. Temperature and pH of fluid are major factors which influence the precipitation of quartz cement. There exist three hypotheses on the flow of pore fluid and transport and precipitation of silica, that is, the hypothesis of cycle of shallow underground water, the hypothesis of high concentration of fluid driven by compaction and the hypothesis of diffusion and recycle of local fluid.
