3An MID-Based Load Balancing Approach for Topic-Based Pub-Sub Overlay Construction显示文摘A large proportion of Internet of Things (IoT) applications are internally publish/subscribe in nature,and traditional architecture cannot support them efficiently and flexibly.In essence,supporting efficient publish/subscribe systems requires data-oriented naming and efficient multicast.Since deployment of native IP-based multicast has failed,overlay-based multicast has become the practical choice.Since load balancing between heterogeneous nodes is an important issue,designing an optimal load balancing overlay network for publish/subscribe systems is a necessary endeavor.This study focuses on the optimal load balancing overlay design problem for topic-based publish/subscribe systems in a heterogeneous environment (in terms of node processing power,bandwidth,and reachability).The Minimum Idle Degree (MID) model is introduced to capture the heterogeneity of overlay nodes.Based on the MID model,new node load measures are defined that can accommodate heterogeneous server capacities and capture the node load in publish/subscribe systems more accurately than traditional measures.A new optimization problem,Maximum Minimum Idle Degree Topic-Connected Overlay (MMID-TCO),is established.This problem is NP-complete and a constant approximation algorithm does not exist for this problem (unless P=NP).Based on MID metrics,the Maximum Minimum Idle Degree Overlay Design Algorithm (MMID-ODA),which has polynomial time,is introduced.To improve performance,an approach that breaks down the problem into several small-scale problems by exploiting the potential inherent disjoint characteristic in the subscription table is presented.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is able to achieve better load balance than Min-Max-ODA in a heterogeneous environment.Ruisheng Shi Fuqiang Liu Yang Zhang Bo Cheng Junliang Chen 2011Tsinghua Science and Technology2011,16,6:4
4Thermal Performance Analysis of PCM Capsules Packed-Bed System with Biomimetic Leaf Hierarchical Porous Structure显示文摘As an efficient natural selection nutrient transport system,biomimetic leaf hierarchical porous structure has unique advantages in material transportation and energy transfer.Biomimetic leaf hierarchical porous structure has been widely used in solar thermochemical reactions,photocatalysis,and energy storage.To improve the thermal efficiency and reduce the power consumption,the authors introduce the idea of bionic leaf hierarchical porous structure packed-bed latent heat thermal energy storage(LHTES)system.Under the same porosity,the diameter of the PCM capsules is designed to change along the flow direction to optimize the thermal performance.The effects of velocity on temperature distribution,pressure drop,liquid fraction,and thermal storage capacity of the conventional uniform model and bionic leaf hierarchical porous model are analyzed.The results show that the bionic leaf hierarchical porous structure can thin the thickness of the thermocline,reduce the pressure drop,increase the heat transfer area,and improve the thermal response of the packed-bed compared with the conventional uniform model.The maximum increases of liquid fraction and completion rate are 36.6%and 20.3%with pressure drop reduction of 25 Pa,respectively.The maximum decrease of the above-melting point(MP)thermocline is 51.7%as well.These results provide suggestions to optimize the packed-bed LHTES system and improve its thermal performance under practical conditions.DONG Yan WANG Fuqiang YANG Luwei SHI Xuhang ZHANG Guoliang SHUAI Yong 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,5:2

7FEM Simulation of the Hydrogen Diffusion in X80 Pipeline Steel During Stacking for Slow Cooling显示文摘The influence of temperature on the hydrogen diffusion behavior in X80 pipeline steel during stacking for slow cooling was studied using electrochemical penetration method, the temperature field and the hydrogen diffusion in this pipeline steel during stacking for slow cooling were simulated by ABAQUS finite element method(FEM) software. The results show that in this process there is a reciprocal relationship between the natural logarithm of hydrogen diffusion coefficient and temperature. The cooling rate decreases gradually with the increase of steel plate thickness. The hydrogen content is higher at high temperature(500–400 °C) than that in low temperature region(300–100 °C). 11Multi-Objective Coordinated Optimization for UAV Charging Scheduling in Intelligent Aerial-Ground Perception Networks显示文摘The unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)-assisted intelligent traffic perception system can provide effective situation awareness.However,UAVs are required to be recharged before the energy is exhausted,which may cause task interruption.To address this concern,the charging UAV(CUAV)is employed to provide wireless charging for the mission UAVs(MUAVs).This paper studies the charging scheduling problem of the CUAV under the premise of optimizing the MUAVs deployment.We first model the MUAVs deployment problem considering the energy consumption and data transmission and establish the CUAV charging model.Then,the above problem is formulated as a multi-objective multi-agent stochastic game process to simplify the decisions-making of MUAVs and CUAV,based on which we propose the utility-based Pareto optimal deployment and charging algorithm,which reduces the computing complexity by equivalent utility of the MUAVs while using KullbackLeibler divergence to constrain solutions.Next,to ensure the effectiveness of policy update,the multi-agent communication protocol is adopted to improve policy exploration efficiency.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms existing works in terms of energy efficiency and charging by comparing with the Pareto front of different methods,endurance anxiety of the MUAVs,and charging utilization under different task modes.ZHOU Yi CHENG Xiang SHI Huaguang JIN Zhanqi NING Nianwen LIU Fuqiang 2023Chinese Journal of Electronics2023,32,6:0
12The inhibition mechanisms of pancreatic lipase by apigenin and its anti-obesity mechanisms revealed by using network pharmacology显示文摘This study aimed to elucidate the inhibition mechanism of apigenin against porcine pancreatic lipase(PPL),and,moreover,to comprehensively reveal the molecular basis of its anti-obesity via network pharmacology approach.The results showed that apigenin inhibited PPL with an IC50 value of 0.377±0.041 mM.Spectroscopic techniques combined molecular docking suggested that apigenin could bind into the PPL active pocket,affecting its normal spatial conformation.Moreover,molecular dynamic(MD)simulations revealed that the open conformation of PPL tended to transit to the closed in the presence of apigenin,which might one important reason for the inhibition of PPL catalytic ability.Network pharmacology analysis revealed that a total of 49 proteins could be identified as potential targets for the anti-obesity effects of apigenin.According to the protein-protein interaction(PPI)network analysis,six hub targets were extracted including IGF1,ESR1,MMP9,PPARA,MAPK14 and NR3C1.Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment indicated that the 49 potential targets could be mapped to 30 pathways(p<0.05).Among them,PI3K-Akt signaling pathway and insulin resistance can be considered as two major pathways regulated by apigenin.Further docking studies indicated that apigenin can bind into the binding pocket of the six hub target proteins identified according to the PPI network.The results indicated that in addition to inhibiting PPL,apigenin could exhibit anti-obesity benefit through the molecular mechanisms uncovered by network pharmacology.This study proposes a new strategy to reveal the mechanisms of dietary polyphenols at the level of network pharmacology.Fuqiang Liang Yumeng Shi Weiwei Cao Jiayi Shi 2022Food Bioscience2022,45,1:0

14Incorporation of a Toll-like receptor 2/6 agonist potentiates mRNA vaccines against cancer and infectious diseases显示文摘mRNA vaccines have emerged rapidly in recent years as a prophylactic and therapeutic agent against various diseases including cancer and infectious diseases.Improvements of mRNA vaccines have been underway,among which boosting of efficacy is of great importance.Pam2Cys,a simple synthetic metabolizable lipoamino acid that signals through Toll-like receptor(TLR)2/6 pathway,eliciting both humoral and cellular adaptive immune responses,is an interesting candidate adjuvant.To investigate the enhancement of the efficacies of mRNA vaccines by Pam2Cys,the adjuvant was incorporated into mRNA-lipid nanoparticles(LNPs)to achieve co-delivery with mRNA.Immunization with the resulting mRNA-LNPs(Pam2Cys)shaped up the immune milieu in the draining lymph nodes(dLNs)through the induction of IL-12 and IL-17,among other cytokines.Antigen presentation was carried out mainly by migratory and dLNresident conventional type 2 DCs(cDC2s)and significantly more potent antitumor responses were triggered in both prophylactic and therapeutic tumor models in a CD4^(+) and CD8^(+) T cell-dependent fashion.Accompanying memory antitumor immunity was also established.Moreover,the vaccine also stimulated much more robust humoral and cellular immunity in a surrogate COVID-19 prophylactic model.Last but not the least,the new vaccines exhibited good preliminary safety profiles in murine models.These facts warrant future development of Pam2Cys-incorporated mRNA vaccines or relevant mRNA therapeutics for clinical application.Yangzhuo Gu Jingyun Yang Cai He Tingmei Zhao Ran Lu Jian Liu Xianming Mo Fuqiang Wen Huashan Shi 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,8:0
15Influence of Adding Compatibilizer to SBS Polymer-Modified Asphalt on Compatibility and Rheological Behavior显示文摘Adding compatibilizer to polymer-modified asphalt(PMA)is an effective method to improve compatibility and performance.However,only few studies have systematically focused on how compatibilizer can affect the performance of styrene-butadiene-styrene(SBS)polymer-modified asphalt(PMA).In this study,six compatibilizers with different compositions were used to prepare SBS PMA samples.Conventional performance,viscosity-temperature characteristics,viscoelastic behavior,creep properties,and morphology were investigated.The results show that adding compatibilizer to SBS PMA has a great effect on its performance.High aromatics content in compatibilizers can improve the high-temperature performance of SBS PMA,while a high saturates content can enhance the low-temperature performance.Additionally,high aromatics content in compatibilizer can increase the temperature sensitivity.While the aromatics content does improve the compatibility of SBS PMA to some extent,adding compatibilizer to SBS PMA has few effects on the microstructure.Judging from our test results,we can conclude that the optimum aromatics content for adding compatibilizer to SBS PMA ranges from 33.21%to 54.22%.Dong Fuqiang Hao Yunzhe Yu Xin Shi Jingtao Chen Bei Qin Chenglin 2021China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,4:0
16Research advances in multi-field coupling model for geothermal reservoir heat extraction显示文摘As a kind of clean renewable energy,the production and utilization of geothermal resources can make a great contribution to optimizing the energy structure and energy conservation and emission reduction.The circulating heat extraction process of working fluid will disturb the equilibrium state of physical and chemical fields inside the reservoir,and involve the mutual coupling of heat transfer,flow,stress,and chemical reaction.Revealing the coupling mechanism of flow and heat transfer inside the reservoir during geothermal exploitation can provide important theoretical support for the efficient exploitation of geothermal resources.This paper reviews the research advances of the multi-field coupling model in the reservoir during geothermal production over the past 40 years.The thrust of this paper is on objective analysis and evaluation of the importance of each coupling process and its influence on reservoir heat extraction performance.Finally,we discuss the existing challenges and perspectives to promote the future development of the geothermal reservoir multi-field coupling model.An accurate understanding of the multi-field coupling mechanism,an efficient cross-scale modeling method,as well as the accurate characterization of reservoir fracture morphology,are crucial for the multi-field coupling model of geothermal production.Gensheng Li Jiayan Ji Xianzhi Song Yu Shi Shuang Li Zihao Song Guofeng Song Fuqiang Xu 2022Energy Reviews2022,1,2:0

19The stress change of the major activity faults in the Weihe Graben after the Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘The seismicity of small earthquakes in the Weihe Graben has changed after the Wenchuan earthquake.In detail,the seismicity around the Qishan-Mazhao fault in the western Weihe Graben decreased,while the seismicity in Gaoling and Jingyang Counties in the middle portion of the Weihe Graben and that in the area between Hancheng and Yuncheng Cities in eastern Weihe Graben increased.In this paper,the stress loading on the major activity faults in the Weihe Graben induced by the Wenchuan earthquake is discussed based on the Coulomb stress theory.The results show that the Wenchuan earthquake has exerted an unloading effect in the western Weihe Graben and a loading effect in the middle and eastern Weihe Graben.The spatially varied Coulomb stress is consistent with the seismicity distribution,indicating that the seismicity change is closely associated with the stress loading caused by the Wenchuan earthquake.Sheng Dong Weina Yuan Fuqiang Shi 2021Earthquake Research Advances2021,1,2:0
