| 1 | Evaluation of measurement uncertainty based on grey system theory for small samples from an unknown distribution显示文摘To evaluate measurement uncertainty for small sample size and measurement data from an unknown distribution, we propose a grey evaluation method of measurement uncertainty based on the grey relation coefficient. The uncertainty of measurement is analyzed using grey system theory, and the defects of the grey evaluation model of measurement uncertainty (GEMU) are studied. We then establish an improved grey evaluation model of measurement uncertainty (IGEMU). Simulations show that the precision of IGEMU is greater than that of GEMU, and that sample size has only a small effect on the precision of IGEVU. In particular, IGEMU is applied to evaluating measurement uncertainty for small sample size and measurement data from an unknown distribution. | 2 | Overexpression of a dominant-negative mutant of SIRT1 in mouse heart causes cardiomyocyte apoptosis and early-onset heart failure显示文摘SIRT1,a mammalian ortholog of yeast silent information regulator 2(Sir2),is an NAD+-dependent protein deacetylase that plays a critical role in the regulation of vascular function.The current study aims to investigate the functional significance of deacetylase activity of SIRT1 in heart.Here we show that the early postnatal hearts expressed the highest level of SIRT1deacetylase activity compared to adult and aged hearts.We generated transgenic mice with cardiac-specific expression of a dominant-negative form of the human SIRT1(SIRT1H363Y),which represses endogenous SIRT1 activity.The transgenic mice displayed dilated atrial and ventricular chambers,and died early in the postnatal period.Pathological,echocardiographic and molecular phenotype confirmed the presence of dilated cardiomyopathy.Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end-labeling analysis revealed a greater abundance of apoptotic nuclei in the hearts of transgenic mice.Furthermore,we show that cardiomyocyte apoptosis caused by suppression of SIRT1 activity is,at least in part,due to increased p53acetylation and upregulated Bax expression.These results indicate that dominant negative form of SIRT1(SIRT1H363Y)overexpression in mouse hearts causes cardiomyocyte apoptosis and early-onset heart failure,suggesting a critical role of SIRT1 in preserving normal cardiac development during the early postnatal period. | MU WenLi ZHANG QingJun TANG XiaoQiang FU WenYan ZHENG Wei LU YunBiao LI HongLiang WEI YuSheng LI Li SHE ZhiGang CHEN HouZao LIU DePei | 2014 | Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,9: | 12 |
| 3 | Synthesis and Photocatalytic Activity of Fe-doped TiO_2 Supported on Hollow Glass Microbeads显示文摘In this paper, Fe-doped TiO_2 photocatalyst supported on hollow glass microbeads(Fe-TiO_2 /beads)is prepared by dip-coating method, which uses hollow glass microbeads as the carriers and tetrabutylorthotitanate [Ti(OC_4H_9)_4] as the raw material. The phase structure, ingredient, morphologies, particle size and shell thickness of the products are characterized by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD), energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) and field emission scanning electron microscope(FESEM). The feasibility of photocatylic degradation of Rhodamine B(Rh B) under illumination of UV-vis light is studied. The results show that the core-shell structure catalyst is composed of Fe-doped anatase TiO_2 and hollow glass microbeads, and the catalytic activity of the TiO_2 is markedly enhanced by Fe ion doping. The optimum concentration of Fe ion is 0.1%(molecular fraction) in the precursor and the photocatalytic activity can be increased to 98% compared with that of the undoped one. The presence of ferrum elements neither influences the transformation of anatase to rutile, nor creates new crystal phases. | 4 | Combined cell grafting and VPA administration facilitates neural repair through axonal regeneration and synaptogenesis in traumatic brain injury显示文摘Neuronal regeneration and functional recovery are severely compromised following traumatic brain injury(TBl).Treatment options,including cell transplantation and drug therapy,have been shown to benefit TBl,although the underlying mechanisms remain elusive.In this study,neural stem cells(NSCs)are transplanted into TBl-challenged mice,together with olfactory ensheathing cells(OECs)or followed by valproic acid(VPA)treatment.Both OEC grafting and VPA treatment facilitate the differentiation of NSCs into neurons(including endogenous and exogenous neurons)and significantly attenuate neurological functional defects in TBl mice.Combination of NSCs with OECs or VPA administration leads to overt improvement in axonal regeneration,synaptogenesis,and synaptic plasticity in the cerebral cortex in TBl-challenged mice,as shown by retrograde corticospinal tract tracing,electron microscopy,growth-associated protein 43(GAP43),and synaptophysin(SYN)analyses.However,these beneficial effects of VPA are reversed by local delivery of N-methyl-D-aspartate(NMDA)into tissues surrounding the injury epicenter in the cerebral cortex,accompanied by a pronounced drop in axons and synapses in the brain.Our findings reveal that increased axonal regeneration and synaptogenesis evoked by cell grafting and VPA fosters neural repair in a murine model of TBl.Moreover,VPA-induced neuroprotective roles are antagonized by exogenous NMDA administration and its concomitant decrease in the number of neurons of local brain,indicating that increased neurons induced by VPA treatment mediate axonal regeneration and synaptogenesis in mice after TBl operation.Collectively,this study provides new insights into NSC transplantation therapy for TBI. | Sujuan Liu Haili Tian Yanmei Niu Chunxia Yu Lingjian Xie Zhe Jin Wenyan Niu Jun Ren Li Fu Zhi Yao | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,9: | 1 |

| 11 | Robust optimization design on impeller of mixed-flow pump显示文摘To increase the robustness of the optimization solutions of the mixed-flow pump,the impeller was firstly indirectly parameterized based on the 2D blade design theory.Secondly,the robustness of the optimization solution was mathematically defined,and then calculated by Monte Carlo sampling method.Thirdly,the optimization on the mixed-flow pump′s impeller was decomposed into the optimal and robust sub-optimization problems,to maximize the pump head and efficiency and minimize the fluctuation degree of them under varying working conditions at the same time.Fourthly,using response surface model,a surrogate model was established between the optimization objectives and control variables of the shape of the impeller.Finally,based on a multi-objective genetic optimization algorithm,a two-loop iterative optimization process was designed to find the optimal solution with good robustness.Comparing the original and optimized pump,it is found that the internal flow field of the optimized pump has been improved under various operating conditions,the hydraulic performance has been improved consequently,and the range of high efficient zone has also been widened.Besides,with the changing of working conditions,the change trend of the hydraulic performance of the optimized pump becomes gentler,the flow field distribution is more uniform,and the influence degree of the varia-tion of working conditions decreases,and the operating stability of the pump is improved.It is concluded that the robust optimization method proposed in this paper is a reasonable way to optimize the mixed-flow pump,and provides references for optimization problems of other fluid machinery. | ZHAO Binjuan LIAO Wenyan XIE Yuntong HAN Luyao FU Yanxia HUANG Zhongfu | 2021 | 排灌机械工程学报2021,39,7: | 0 |

| 13 | The construction of high precision geostrophic currents based on new gravity models of GOCE and satellite altimetry data显示文摘The new gravity field models of gravity field and steady-state ocean circulation explorer(GOCE),TIM_R6 and DIR_R6,were released by the European Space Agency(ESA)in June 2019.The sixth generation of gravity models have the highest possible signal and lowest error levels compared with other GOCE-only gravity models,and the accuracy is significantly improved.This is an opportunity to build high precision geostrophic currents.The mean dynamic topography and geostrophic currents have been calculated by the 5th(TIM_R5 and DIR_R5),6th(TIM_R6 and DIR_R6)release of GOCE gravity field models and ITSG-Grace2018 of GRACE gravity field model in this study.By comparison with the drifter results,the optimal filtering lengths of them have been obtained(for DIR_R5,DIR_R6,TIM_R5 and TIM_R6 models are 1°and for ITSG-Grace2018 model is 1.1°).The filtered results show that the geostrophic currents obtained by the GOCE gravity field models can better reflect detailed characteristics of ocean currents.The total geostrophic speed based on the TIM_R6 model is similar to the result of the DIR_R6 model with standard deviation(STD)of 0.320 m/s and 0.321 m/s,respectively.The STD of the total velocities are 0.333 m/s and 0.325 m/s for DIR_R5 and TIM_R5.When compared with ITSG-Grace2018 results,the STD(0.344 m/s)of total geostrophic speeds is larger than GOCE results,and the accuracy of geostrophic currents obtained by ITSG-Grace2018 is lower.And the absolute errors are mainly distributed in the areas with faster speeds,such as the Antarctic circumpolar circulation,equatorial region,Kuroshio and Gulf Stream areas.After the remove-restore technique was applied to TIM_R6 MDT,the STD of total geostrophic speeds dropped to 0.162 m/s. | Wenyan Sui Junru Guo Jun Song Zhiliang Liu Meng Wang Xibin Li Yanzhao Fu Yongquan Li Yu Cai Linhui Wang Lingli Li Xiaofang Guo Wenting Zuo | 2021 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2021,40,3: | 0 |
| 14 | Crop growth inhibited by over-liming in tea plantations显示文摘Liming is a common strategy applied to attain optimal pH for tea growth in severely acidic soils.Tea however is a calciphobous plant,and the effects of liming on its growth and nutrient uptake remain poorly understand.Therefore,it is necessary to better understand the effects of liming on soil chemical properties and tea nutrient content.In this study,a tea plantation that had exhibited large variation in growth after liming was selected as a study site.We categorized plots into two growth condition groups:Plot 1(poor growth)and Plot 2(excellent growth).Tea nutrient levels,and soil chemical properties were then compared between the two groups.Normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)and transformed vegetation index(TVI)values were significantly higher and lower,respectively,in Plot 2 than in Plot 1.Yield,number of buds per m2,and 100-bud weight were significantly higher in Plot 2.These results were attributed to higher N,K,and Al concentrations and lower Ca concentrations in leaves,and lower pH and available Ca and higher available Al in soil.Leaf concentrations of K and Al were significantly negatively correlated with leaf concentrations of Ca and soil pH.A positive relationship was observed between leaf concentrations of K and Al,indicating inhibited K and Al uptake due to over-liming,restricting tea growth.In conclusion,our results show that tea growth will be restricted by over-liming,as a result of the high soil pH and Ca concentration inhibiting the K and Al uptake. | Peng Yan Zhenhao Zou Jingcheng Zhang Lin Yuan Chen Shen Kang Ni Yeliang Sun Xin Li Liping Zhang Lan Zhang Jianyu Fu Wenyan Han | 2021 | Beverage Plant Research2021,1,1: | 0 |
