1Risk assessment on the epidemics of human infection with a novel avian influenza A (H7N9) virus in Jiangsu Province, China显示文摘A novel avian influenza A (H7N9) virus was discovered in February 2013 in China and has resulted in more than 100 comfirmed human infections including 26 fatal cases as of May 2, 2013. The situation raises many urgent questions and global public health concerns. In this study, epidemiologic characteristics of infected human cases in Jiangsu province were analyzed and risk assessment was undertaken based on the information available. Briefly, it is highly unlikely that a pandemic of human infection with avian influenza A (H7N9) virus will happen in Jiangsu Province in the near future. 2Effects of closing and reopening live poultry markets on the epidemic of human infection with avian influenza A virus显示文摘Live poultry markets(LPMs) are crucial places for human infection of influenza A(H7N9 virus).In Yangtze River Delta,LPMs were closed after the outbreak of human infection with avian influenza A(H7N9) virus,and then reopened when no case was found.Our purpose was to quantify the effect of LPMs' operations in this region on the transmission of influenza A(H7N9) virus.We obtained information about dates of symptom onset and locations for all human influenza A(H7N9) cases reported from Shanghai,Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces by May 31,2014,and acquired dates of closures and reopening of LPMs from official media.A two-phase Bayesian model was fitted by Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods to process the spatial and temporal influence of human cases.A total of 235 cases of influenza A(H7N9) were confirmed in Shanghai,Jiangsu and Zhejiang by May 31,2014.Using these data,our analysis showed that,after LPM closures,the influenza A(H7N9) outbreak disappeared within two weeks in Shanghai,one week in Jiangsu,and one week in Zhejiang,respectively.Local authorities reopened LPMs when there was no outbreak of influenza A(H7N9),which did not lead to reemergence of human influenza A(H7N9).LPM closures were effective in controlling the H7N9 outbreak.Reopening of LPM in summer did not increase the risk of human infection with H7N9.Our findings showed that LPMs should be closed immediately in areas where the H7N9 virus is confirmed in LPM.When there is no outbreak of H7N9 virus,LPMs can be reopened to satisfy the Chinese traditional culture of buying live poultry.In the long term,local authorities should take a cautious attitude in permanent LPM closure.Jian Lu Wendong Liu Rui Xia Qigang Dai Changjun Bao Fenyang Tang Yefei Zhu Qiao Wang 2016The Journal of Biomedical Research2016,30,2:7
3Activating interfacial S sites of MoS_(2) boosts hydrogen evolution electrocatalysis显示文摘The hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)of molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))is limited in alkaline and acid solution because the active sites are on the finite edge with extended basal plane remaining inert.Herein,we activated the interfacial S sites by coupling with Ru nanoparticles on the inert basal plane of MoS_(2)nanosheets.The density functional theory(DFT)calculation and experimental results show that the interfacial S electronic structure was modulated.And the results of∆G H*demonstrate that the adsorption of H on the MoS_(2)was also optimized.With the advantage of interfacial S sites activation,the Ru-MoS_(2)needs only overpotential of 110 and 98 mV to achieve 10 mA·cm^(–2)in both 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4)and ^(1) M KOH solution,respectively.This strategy paves a new way for activating the basal plane of other transition metal sulfide electrocatalysts for improving the HER performance.Shuo Geng Fenyang Tian Menggang Li Yequn Liu Jie Sheng Weiwei Yang Yongsheng Yu Yanglong Hou 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:5
4Improved Plasmonic Hot‑Electron Capture in Au Nanoparticle/Polymeric Carbon Nitride by Pt Single Atoms for Broad‑Spectrum Photocatalytic H_(2)Evolution显示文摘ABSTRACT Rationally designing broad-spectrum photocatalysts to harvest whole visible-light region photons and enhance solar energy conversion is a“holy grail”for researchers,but is still a challenging issue.Herein,based on the common polymeric carbon nitride(PCN),a hybrid co-catalysts system comprising plasmonic Au nanoparticles(NPs)and atomically dispersed Pt single atoms(PtSAs)with different functions was constructed to address this challenge.For the dual co-catalysts decorated PCN(PtSAs–Au_(2.5)/PCN),the PCN is photoexcited to generate electrons under UV and short-wavelength visible light,and the synergetic Au NPs and PtSAs not only accelerate charge separation and transfer though Schottky junctions and metal-support bond but also act as the co-catalysts for H_(2) evolution.Furthermore,the Au NPs absorb long-wavelength visible light owing to its localized surface plasmon resonance,and the adjacent PtSAs trap the plasmonic hot-electrons for H_(2) evolution via direct electron transfer effect.Consequently,the PtSAs–Au_(2.5)/PCN exhibits excellent broad-spectrum photocatalytic H_(2) evolution activity with the H_(2) evolution rate of 8.8 mmol g^(−1) h^(−1) at 420 nm and 264μmol g^(−1) h^(−1) at 550 nm,much higher than that of Au_(2.5)/PCN and PtSAs–PCN,respectively.This work provides a new strategy to design broad-spectrum photocatalysts for energy conversion reaction.Manyi Gao Fenyang Tian Xin Zhang Zhaoyu Chen Weiwei Yang Yongsheng Yu 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,8:2

6A novel annealing method to uniformly refine deformed mixed grain microstructure of a solution-treated Ni-based superalloy显示文摘Increasing static recrystallization(SRX)nucleation rate and decreasing grain growth rate are the main ways to obtain uniform and fine grain microstructure by annealing treatment.However,it is contradictory to raise the SRX nucleation rate and reduce grain growth rate during isothermal annealing treatment.This is because the increase of the SRX nucleation rate needs to raise annealing temperature,while the decline of grain growth rate needs to reduce the annealing temperature.To solve the contradiction,a novel method named cooling recrystallization annealing treatment(CRT)is designed and verified.For the CRT,the relatively high annealing temperature in the primary stage can promote SRX nucleation,and the gradually decreased annealing temperature can reduce the growth rate of SRX grains.Besides,an aged treatment is first carried out to precipitate high content of theδphase before the CRT.Enoughδphases not only provide large numbers of sites for SRX nucleation but also limit the grain growth due to the pinning effect,especially in the primary high-temperature stage.The results show that the novel method can refine deformed mixed grain microstructure well when the suitable cooling rate,start and final recrystallization annealing temperatures are employed.The deformed mixed grain can be uniformly refined to an average size of 8.26μm with the route of 900℃×12 h+1020℃→970℃×20 min.WANG GuanQiang CHEN MingSong LIN YongCheng LI HongBin ZENG WeiDong MA YanYong CAI JinLiang PENG ChengXu ZOU FenYang 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,8:1

9Study on Diversity of Soybean Germplasm with Drought Resistance in Huang-Huai-Hai Region显示文摘Fifty soybean germplasms with drought resistance selected from Huang-Huai-Hai Region were studied under field drought condition. The results showed that there was a diversity of drought resistance at different growth stages. Some varieties had drought resistance in whole growing period, but some only at one stage or several stages. Some varieties had both drought resistance and higher yield characters, some with drought resistance but lower yield.
