1Real-time compensation of phase drift for phase-encoded quantum key distribution systems显示文摘Phase drift is an inherent problem in phase-encoded quantum key distribution(QKD) systems.The current active phase trackingand compensation solutions cannot satisfy the requirements of a system with nonlinearity in phase modulation.This paper presents a four-phase scanning method,which is based on the quantitative analysis of the quantum bit error rate(QBER) from phasedrift and the performance requirements of phase compensation.By obtaining the four interference fringes and adjusting the codingmatrix of the system,this method automatically calculates the accurate driving voltages for the phase modulator.The implementation and experimental tests show that the proposed method can compensate phase drift caused by environmental changes and thesystem's nonlinearity,and is applicable to large-scale QKD networks.ZHANG LiJun WANG YongGang YIN ZhenQiang CHEN Wei YANG Yang ZHANG Tao HUANG DaJun WANG Shuang LI FangYi HAN ZhengFu 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,22:6

3A quantum-chemical study on the discharge reaction mechanism of lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur batteries have attracted a great interest in electrochemical energy conversion and storage, but their discharge mechanism remains not well understood up to now. Here, we report density functional theory (DFT) calculation study of the discharge mechanism for lithium-sulfur batteries which are based on the structure of S8 and Li2S x (1≤x≤8) clusters. The results show that for Li2S x (1≤x≤8) clusters, the most stable geometry is chainlike when x = 1 and 6, while the minimal-energy structure is found to be cyclic when x = 2-5, 7,8. The stability of Li2S x (1≤x≤8) clusters increases with the decreasing x value, indicating a favorable thermodynamic tendency of transition from S8 to Li2S. A three-step reaction route has been proposed during the discharge process, that is, S8 →Li2S4 at about 2.30 V, Li2S4 →Li2S2 at around 2.22 V, and Li2S2 → Li2S at 2.18 V. Furthermore, the effect of the electrolyte on the potential platform has been also investigated. The discharge potential is found to increase with the decrease of dielectric constant of the electrolyte. 4Cholecystectomy is associated with higher risk of recurrence after microwave ablation of hepatocellular carcinoma:a propensity score matching analysis显示文摘Objective:To explore the association between cholecystectomy and the prognostic outcomes of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(H CC)who underwent microwave ablation(MWA).Methods:Patients with HCC(«=921)who underwent MWA were included and divided into cholecystectomy(n=114)and non-cholecystectomy groups(n=807).After propensity score matching(PSM)at a 1:2 ratio,overall survival(OS)and disease-free survival(DFS)rates were analyzed to compare prognostic outcomes between the cholecystectomy(«=114)and non-cholecystectomy groups(n=228).Univariate and multivariate Cox analyses were performed to assess potential risk factors for OS and DFS.Major complications were also compared between the groups.Results:After matching,no significant differences between groups were observed in baseline characteristics.The 1-,3-,and 5-year OS rates were 96.5%,82.1%,and 67.1%in the cholecystectomy group,and 97.4%,85.2%,and 74.4%in the non-cholecystectomy group(P=0.396);the 1-,3-,and 5-year DFS rates were 58.4%,34.5%,and 26.6%in the cholecystectomy group,and 73.6%,44.7%,and 32.2%in the non-cholecystectomy group(P=0.026),respectively.The intrahepatic distant recurrence rate in the cholecystectomy group was significantly higher than that in the non-cholecystectomy group(P=0.026),and the local tumor recurrence and extrahepatic recurrence rates did not significantly differ between the groups(P=0.609 and P=0.879).Multivariate analysis revealed that cholecystectomy(HR=1.364,95%Cl 1.023-1.819,P=0.035),number of tumors(2 vs.1:HR=2.744,95%Cl 1.925-3.912,P<0.001;3 vs.1:HR=3.411,95%Cl 2.021-5.759,P<0.001),and y-GT levels(HR=1.003,95%Cl 1.000-1.006,P<0.024)were independent risk factors for DFS.The best y-GT level cut-off value for predicting median DFS was 39.6 U/L(area under the curve=0.600,P<0.05).A positive correlation was observed between cholecystectomy and y-GT level(r=0.108,95%Cl-0.001-0.214,P=0.047).Subgroup analysis showed that the DFS rates were significantly higher in the non-cholecystectomy group than the cholecystectomy group when Y-GT>39.6 U/L(i3=0.044).The 5-,10-,15-,20-,and 25-year recurrence rates from the time of cholecystectomy were 2.63%,21.93%,42.11%,58.77%,and 65.79%,respectively.A significant positive correlation was observed between cholecystectomy and the time from cholecystectomy to recurrence(r=0.205,95%Cl 0.016-0.379,P=0.029).There were no significant differences in complications between groups(P=0.685).Conclusions:Patients with HCC who underwent cholecystectomy were more likely to develop intrahepatic distant recurrence after MWA,an outcome probably associated with increased y-GT levels.Moreover,the recurrence rates increased with time.Hongcai Yang Yi Yang Jianping Dou Rui Cui Zhigang Cheng Zhiyu Han Fangyi Liu Xiaoling Yu Xiang Zhou Jie Yu Ping Liang 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,2:3
5Theoretical connection from the dielectric constant of films to the capacitance of capacitors under high temperature显示文摘In the process of coping with energy and environmental protection issues,technologies such as energy materials,energy devices,and energy systems have made great progress.With excellent performance,film capacitors play an increasingly important role in energyrelated fields.With the increase of application scenarios and the continuous development of film material technology,it is urgent to establish a better theoretical connection from films to capacitors.First,the main components of the capacitor including the film and the positional relationships among them are given.Then,from the two perspectives of indirect calculation according to the volume and the direct calculation according to the winding process,the equation between the dielectric constant of films and the corresponding capacitance of capacitors is established.Further,the measurement data and error analysis results of the built test platform prove the accuracy and great potential of the proposed calculation methods.In addition,error sources,including film thickness uniformity,are listed.Finally,the challenges faced by the proposed calculation methods and the paths that can be referenced for future research are summarised and discussed.Yongxin Zhang Qikun Feng Shaolong Zhong Jiayao Pei Fangyi Chen Lei Huang Zhe Yang Zhimin Dang 2023High Voltage2023,8,4:3
6Cell-nucleus structured electrolyte for low-temperature aqueous zinc batteries显示文摘Rechargeable aqueous zinc(Zn) batteries hold great promise for large-scale energy storage,but their implementation is plagued by poor Zn reversibility and unsatisfactory low-temperature performance.Herein,we design a cell-nucleus structured electrolyte by introducing low-polarity 1,2-dimethoxyethane(DME) into dilute 1 M zinc trifluoromethanesulfonate(Zn(OTf)_(2)) aqueous solution,which features an OTf--rich Zn2^(+)-primary solvation sheath(PSS,inner nucleus) and the DMEmodulated Zn^(2+)-outer solvation sheath(outer layer).We find that DME additives with a low dosage do not participate in the Zn2+-PSS but reinforce the Zn-OTf-coordination,which guarantees good reaction kinetics under ultralow temperatures.Moreover,DME breaks the original H-bonding network of H2O,depressing the freezing point of electrolyte to-52.4℃.Such a cell-nucleus-solvation structure suppresses the H_(2)O-induced side reactions and forms an anion-derived solid electrolyte interphase on Zn and can be readily extended to 1,2-diethoxyethane.The as-designed electrolyte enables the Zn electrode deep cycling stability over 3500 h with a high depth-of-discharge of 51.3% and endows the Zn‖V_(2)O_(5)full battery with stable cycling over 1000 cycles at 40℃.This work would inspire the solvation structure design for low-temperature aqueous batteries.Yang Dong Ning Zhang Zhaodong Wang Jinhan Li Youxuan Ni Honglu Hu Fangyi Cheng 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,8:2
