1Characteristics of in situ stress field at Qingshui coal mine显示文摘In this study, the characteristics of geological structure at Qingshui coal mine were analyzed. And the hollow inclusion strain cell overcoring method was used to obtain the in situ stress. The effect of in situ stress on the stability of soft rock roadway was analyzed. The results show that the maximum principal stress is in the horizontal direction with a northeast orientation and has a value of about 1.2–1.9 times larger than gravity; the right side of roadway roof and floor is easily subject to serious deformation and failure, and the in situ stress is found to be a major factor. 4Development and Application of Ti-based Alloy Casting Technologies in the Field of Aerospace显示文摘Ti-based alloys have been widely applied in the aerospace field,owing to their outstanding performance.Precision casting can be used to make integrated near-net-shape components with complex thin-walled structures,which will further promote the engineering application of Ti-based alloys. In this paper,the research progress of Tibased alloys,e. g.,high-temperature Ti-based alloys,high-strength Ti-based alloys,TiAl-based alloys,Ti-based matrix composites,and their precision casting technologies are reviewed. 5The Breeding Ecology of a Critically Endangered Salamander,Hynobius amjiensis(Caudata:Hynobiidae),Endemic to Eastern China显示文摘Hynobius amjiensis is a critically endangered salamander species(IUCN Red List) endemic to eastern China. It currently has three known populations: one in Longwangshan, Zhejiang Province(type locality), and two in Qingliangfeng between Anhui and Zhejiang Provinces. We examined the relatively unstudied breeding ecology of this species in the field and at laboratory from March 2007 to May 2014. Adult males and females were year-round terrestrial, except for the February–April breeding season. During this period, we captured only a total of 16 breeding adults(11 males and 5 females). As few as 100 breeding females were estimated based on the number of egg sacs observed since 2007. This number was significantly reduced from the estimated number between 1992 and 1998. Males(mean total length = 16.21 cm, mean body mass = 18.8 g) were slightly smaller than females(16.51 cm, 19.2 g). Size of breeding pools ranged from 0.2 m^2 to 1.2 m^2(0.1–1.2 m depths). Each female deposits a pair of egg sacs by attaching the adhesive tips of the sacs to aquatic plants or dead twigs. Fifteen pairs of egg sacs had an average length of 28.6 cm and a diameter of 3.3 cm. On average, each egg sac contained 75 eggs with a diameter of 0.3 cm. Our field survey revealed that H. amjiensis used oviposition sites in small, cool, and weakly acidic pools at high elevations(1 300–1 600 m) where peat moss was abundant. Reduction in wetland size and disappearance of suitable breeding pools suggest that this salamander species is under threat of extinction, particularly at Longwangshan, where 5 of the 9 breeding pools have either dried up or disappeared. Combined size of the remaining 4 pools is less than 2 m^2. 6Self-assembled multiepitope nanovaccine based on NoV P particles induces effective and lasting protection against H3N2 influenza virus显示文摘Current seasonal influenza vaccines confer only limited coverage of virus strains due to the frequent genetic and antigenic variability of influenza virus(IV).Epitope vaccines that accurately target conserved domains provide a promising approach to increase the breadth of protection;however,poor immunogenicity greatly hinders their application.The protruding(P)domain of the norovirus(NoV),which can self-assemble into a 24-mer particle called the NoV P particle,offers an ideal antigen presentation platform.In this study,a multiepitope nanovaccine displaying influenza epitopes(HMN-PP)was constructed based on the NoV P particle nanoplatform.Large amounts of HMN-PP were easily expressed in Escherichia coli in soluble form.Animal experiments showed that the adjuvanted HMN-PP nanovaccine induced epitope-specific antibodies and haemagglutinin(HA)-specific neutralizing antibodies,the antibodies could persist for at least three months after the last immunization.Furthermore,HMN-PP induced matrix protein 2 extracellular domain(M2e)-specific antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity,CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T-cell responses,a nucleoprotein(NP)-specific cytotoxic T lymphocyte(CTL)response.These results indicated that the combination of a multiepitope vaccine and self-assembled NoV P particles may be an ideal and effective vaccine strategy for highly variable viruses such as IV and SARS-CoV-2.Jiaojiao Nie Qingyu Wang Shenghui Jin Xin Yao Lipeng Xu Yaotian Chang Fan Ding Zeyu Li Lulu Sun Yuhua Shi Yaming Shan 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
7Performance of feeding Artemia with bioflocs derived from two types of fish solid waste显示文摘The production of bioflocs with the solid waste from recirculating aquaculture systems(RAS)and feeding Artemia results in additional nutrient retention and lowers waste discharged from RAS.The solid waste from the drumfilters of two RAS,which stocked European eel(Anguilla anguilla)and Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus),was used as substrate to produce bioflocs in suspended growth reactors,referred to as E-flocs and T-flocs,respectively.Mono-diets consisting of 100%E-flocs and 100%T-flocs were added to culture Artemia,referred as E-Artemia and T-Artemia,respectively,in a laboratory scale test.The efficiency of this feeding regime was investigated.A significant difference was observed in terms of crude protein content(35.59±0.2%)for E-flocs,(29.29±0.95)%for T-flocs,(70.01±0.92)%for E-Artemia and(65.63±0.89)%for T-Artemia.134 out of the total operational taxonomic units(OTUs)were present in E-flocs and T-flocs from the analysis of high-throughput sequencing data.Most of the shared OTUs belonged to cyanobacteria.C18:1n7 of T-flocs was higher than that of E-flocs(P<0.05).C18:2n6 of E-flocs was significantly higher than that of T-flocs(P<0.05).No significant difference was observed in the other fatty acid compositions(P>0.05).The survival rate of E-Artemia was(22±0.02)%,significantly higher than that of T-Artemia(16%±0.02%)(P<0.05).No significant difference was observed between the average body weight of E-Artemia(2.38±0.40 mg)and E-Artemia(2.91±0.21)(P>0.05).The EPA of Artemia fed with E-flocs was(3.00±0.46)%,significantly higher than that of T-Artemia(1.57±0.19%)(P<0.05).This study offers a method for reusing the aquaculture waste,which will be helpful to achieve a zero-pollution discharge for aquaculture systems.Miaolan Yao Guozhi Luo Hongxin Tan Lipeng Fan Haoyan Meng 2018Aquaculture and Fisheries2018,3,6:0
