| 2 | Coagulation factors VII, IX and X are effective antibacterial proteins against drug-resistant Gram-negative bacteria显示文摘Infections caused by drug-resistant“superbugs”pose an urgent public health threat due to the lack of effective drugs;however, certain mammalian proteins with intrinsic antibacterial activity might be underappreciated. Here, we reveal an antibacterial property against Gram-negative bacteria for factors VII, IX and X, three proteins with well-established roles in initiation of the coagulation cascade. These factors exert antibacterial function via their light chains (LCs). Unlike many antibacterial agents that target cell metabolism or the cytoplasmic membrane, the LCs act by hydrolyzing the major components of bacterial outer membrane, lipopolysaccharides, which are crucial for the survival of Gram-negative bacteria. The LC of factor VII exhibits in vitro efficacy towards all Gram-negative bacteria tested, including extensively drug-resistant (XDR) pathogens, at nanomolar concentrations. It is also highly effective in combating XDR Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii infections in vivo. Through decoding a unique mechanism whereby factors VII, IX and X behave as antimicrobial proteins, this study advances our understanding of the coagulation system in host defense, and suggests that these factors may participate in the pathogenesis of coagulation disorder-related diseases such as sepsis via their dual functions in blood coagulation and resistance to infection. | 3 | Upregulation of Spinal Voltage-Dependent Anion Channel 1 Contributes to Bone Cancer Pain Hypersensitivity in Rats显示文摘Voltage-dependent anion channel 1(VDAC1) is thought to contribute to the progression of tumor development. However, whether VDAC1 contributes to bone cancer pain remains unknown. In this study, we found that the expression of VDAC1 was upregulated in the L2–5 segments of the spinal dorsal horn at 2 and 3 weeks after injection of tumor cells into the tibial cavity. Intrathecal injection of a VDAC1 inhibitor significantly reversed the pain hypersensitivity and reduced the over-expression of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4). | 4 | Routing Loop Audit Mechanism Based on SDN显示文摘Routing loops can cause packet loss and long delay problems in the traditional network. Even in future networks – Software-Defined Networks, with loop-free implementation mechanism, it still suffers loop problems. In this paper, we propose an architecture to solve the loop problem in SDN. Unlike the existing passive routing loop detection algorithm, this algorithm processes based on the SDN loop-free characteristic, by auditing third-party network forwarding rules’ modification requests to avoids loop generation, thus avoid the network loop problems. Testbed is built to simulate our proposed algorithm. | 5 | An SDN Oriented Loop Detection Mechanism Based on TTL Statistics显示文摘The rise of the network has injected new impetus into the development of traditional networks.Due to the complexity of the network itself and its network programmability,there is a risk of routing loops occurring in the SDN network.This paper proposes a loop detection mechanism.According to the Time To Live(TTL)value of the loop packet,there is approximately periodicity in the same loop.We use sFlow to count the number of packets corresponding to each TTL value of a switch in the loop over a period of time,and perform discrete Fourier transform on the obtained finite-length sequence to observe its frequency domain performance and determine whether there are periodic features.By doing so,it is determined whether there is a routing loop,and the purpose of passively detecting the routing loop is achieved.Compared to existing algorithms,it has advantages in real-time,scalability and false positive rate.The experimental results show that the routing loop detection algorithm based on TTL statistics in this paper still maintains high judgment accuracy under the scenarios of lower stream sampling rate and smaller detection period. | Tao Yu Longfei Yu Diyue Chen Hongyan Cui Jilong Wang | 2020 | China Communications2020,17,6: | 2 |

| 9 | An empirical study on continuance intention of mobile reading显示文摘Purpose: This study aims to explore factors affecting continuance intention of mobile reading.Design/methodology/approach: Drawing on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology(UTAUT), and integrating perceived enjoyment, we put forward a theoretical research model of factors affecting continuance intention of mobile reading. Using 186 valid data collected through a questionnaire survey, we conducted data analysis with the partial least squares structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM).Findings: The results show that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and perceived enjoyment all have positive impacts on continuance intention. Among them,perceived enjoyment has the most significant effect on continuance intention, followed by performance expectancy. In addition, effort expectancy significantly influences perceived enjoyment. Contrary to our expectation, facilitating conditions have no impact on continuance intention.Practical implications: This study could help mobile data service providers to foster users' continuous usage of mobile reading.Research limitations: This study focused only on the effect of perceived enjoyment as an internal motivation on continuance intention of mobile reading, and other possible factors were not considered. Also, continuance intention may be different from the actual behavior.Furthermore, data of student users was collected from one university in China, and was cross-sectional, while working samples were not considered. Originality value: This study considers the effects of both external and internal motivation on continuance intention of mobile reading. | 10 | A Meta-analysis of Major Complications between Traditional Pacemakers and Leadless Pacemakers显示文摘Objectives:We aim to compare the major complications between leadless pacemakers and traditional pacemakers.Background:Leadless pacemakers,which are increasingly used in clinical practice,have several advantages compared with traditional pacemakers in avoiding pocket-and lead-related complications.However,the clinical effect of leadless pacemakers remains controversial.Methods:PubMed,Embase,the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(CENTRAL),the CNKI database,and the Wanfang database were searched from July 2013 to December 2019.Studies comparing leadless pacemakers and traditional pacemakers were included.The primary end point was major complications.The secondary end points were cardiac perforation/pericardial effusion,device revision or extraction,loss of device function,and death.Results:Six studies fulfi lled the inclusion criteria.Only four of the six studies reported data on major complications.Leadless pacemakers were associated with a lower incidence of major complications(risk ratio 0.33,95%confi dence interval 0.25–0.44,P<0.00001,I²=49%).We extracted data on cardiac perforation/pericardial effusion,device revision or extraction,loss of device function,and death from six studies.Our meta-analysis showed that leadless pacemakers have a higher risk of cardiac perforation or pericardial effusion(risk ratio 4.28,95%confi dence interval 1.66–11.08,P=0.003,I²=0%).No statistically signifi cant differences were found for mortality,device revision or extraction,and loss of device function.Conclusion:Compared with traditional pacemakers,leadless pacemakers have a signifi cantly decreased risk of major complications,but have a higher risk of cardiac perforation or pericardial effusion. | Diyu Cui Yimeng Liao Jianlin Du Yunqing Chen | 2021 | Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications2021,,1: | 1 |
| 11 | Simultaneously enhanced energy storage performance and luminance resistance in (K_(0.5)Na_(0.5))NbO_(3) -based ceramics via synergistic optimization strategy显示文摘The rapidly advancing energy storage performance of dielectric ceramics capacitors has garnered significant interest for applications in fast charge/discharge and high-power electronic techniques.Exploring the exceptional electrical properties in harsh environments can further promote their practical applications.Defect carriers can be excited under luminance irradiation,thereby leading to degradation of energy storage performance.Herein,a synergic optimization strategy is proposed to enhance energy storage properties and luminance resistance of(K_(0.5)Na_(0.5))NbO_(3)-base(KNN)ceramics.First,the introduction of Bi(Zn0.5Ti0.5)O_(3) solid solution and La3+ions disrupts the long-range polar orders and enhances super paraelectric relaxation characteristics.Additionally,doping La3+ions can increase the band gap and reduce oxygen vacancy concentration,resulting in excellent luminance resistance.Finally,the viscous polymer process is employed to suppress the grain growth and promote chemical homogeneity.As a result,ultrahigh recoverable energy storage density(Wrec)of 8.11 J/cm3 and high efficiency(η)of 80.98%are achieved under an electric field of 568 kV/cm.Moreover,the variations in Wrec andηare only 12.45%and 1.75%,respectively,under 500 W xenon lamp irradiation compared to the performance under a dark environment.These findings hold great potential in facilitating the practical application of dielectric ceramic capacitors in luminance irradiation environments. | Yu Huan Diyu Gui Changxiao Li Tao Wei Lingzhi Wu Xinjian Wang Xiaozhi Wang Zhenxiang Cheng | 2024 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2024,13,1: | 0 |
