| 1 | LncDACH1 promotes mitochondrial oxidative stress of cardiomyocytes by interacting with sirtuin3 and aggravates diabetic cardiomyopathy显示文摘Diabetic cardiomyopathy(DCM)is a common complication in diabetic patients.The molecular mechanisms of DCM remain to be fully elucidated.The intronic long noncoding RNA of DACH1(lnc DACH1)has been demonstrated to be closely associated with heart failure and cardiac regeneration.In this study,we investigated the role of lnc DACH1 in DCM and the underlying molecular mechanisms.The expression of lnc DACH1 was increased in DCM hearts and in high glucose-treated cardiomyocytes.Knockout of lnc DACH1 reduced mitochondrial oxidative stress,cell apoptosis,cardiac fibrosis and hypertrophy,and improved cardiac function in DCM mice.Overexpression of lnc DACH1 exacerbated mitochondria-derived reactive oxygen species(ROS)level and apoptosis,decreased activity of manganese superoxide dismutase(Mn-SOD);while silencing of lnc DACH1 attenuated ROS production,mitochondrial dysfunction,cell apoptosis,and increased the activity of Mn-SOD in cardiomyocytes treated with high glucose.Lnc DACH1 directly bound to sirtuin3(SIRT3)and facilitated its degradation by ubiquitination,therefore promoting mitochondrial oxidative injury and cell apoptosis in mouse hearts.In addition,SIRT3 silencing abrogated the protective effects of lnc DACH1 deficiency in cardiomyocytes.In summary,lnc DACH1 aggravates DCM by promoting mitochondrial oxidative stress and cell apoptosis via increasing ubiquitination-mediated SIRT3 degradation in mouse hearts.Inhibition of lnc DACH1 represents a novel therapeutic strategy for the intervention of diabetic cardiomyopathy. | Qi Zhang Danyang Li Xue Dong Xiaowen Zhang Junwu Liu Lili Peng Bo Meng Qi Hua Xinyu Pei Lu Zhao Xiaoxi Hu Yang Zhang Zhenwei Pan Yanjie Lu Baofeng Yang | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,6: | 4 |

| 4 | Effect of strain on DRX of 7050 aluminum alloy during extrusion at high temperature显示文摘Extrusion experiments with different filling contents at the temperature of 440 ℃ were conducted for solution treated 7050 aluminum alloy.The microstructure of typical regions with different filler contents were described qualitatively and characterized quantitatively by electron backscattered diffraction technique(EBSD) and TEM.Fraction of deformed structure decrease continuously since ε=0.72.Second phase particles distribute dispersively and interact with dislocations when ε=0.66,which delays the occurrence of DRX.As the strain increases,particles dissolve into the matrix,and their number reduces rapidly.The influence of particles on dislocation accumulation is impaired,so dislocations accumulate on the subgrain boundaries continuously,and lead to the transformation of subgrain boundaries into high angle grain boundaries(HAGBs).The continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX) occurrs at the strain of 0.81~0.85.At ε=0.92,CDRX convert rapidly with the increase of HAGBs fraction.But the size of CDRX grains is deduced to be minimum 3.3 μm by theoretical analysis,and it is obtained from experimental result that the maximal size of CDRX is 5.3 μm. | ZHU Danyang,ZHEN Liang,HU Wenhao,CHEN Junzhou,CUI Yuexian,and SHAO Wenzhu School of Materials Science and Engineering,Harbin Institute of Technology,Harbin 150001,China | 2007 | Rare Metals2007,26,S1: | 3 |
| 5 | Understanding the relationships between poverty alleviation and ecosystem conservation:empirical evidence from western China显示文摘Despite growing interest in the use of Payments for Ecosystem Services(PES)for both social and ecological benefits,few studies have investigated the feedback and interaction between poverty alleviation and ecosystem protection outcomes.In this study,the poverty reduction effects of PES policies and their subsequent influence on environmental protection outcomes are investigated.To address these questions,222 local rural households who were involved in PES programs from the Habahu National Nature Reserve in western China were interviewed.The results showed that the social and ecological outcomes of PES policies are neither two separate entities nor a trade-off.While rural households are the key participants in PES programs,the social and ecological outcomes of PES policies are closely related to each other.In addition,poverty reduction results could greatly influence ecosystem conservation effects.Livelihood assets,as well as the attitudes of rural households,play important roles in both of the outcomes.This research provides a new perspective that considers the social and ecological benefits of PES policies,and it also calls for an integrated consideration of social and ecological components in tihe design of PES policies to achieve enhanced results both for poverty alleviation and ecosystem conservation. | Xujun HU Huiyuan ZHANG Haiguang HAO Danyang FENG Haiyan LIU Qiang ZHANG | 2020 | Frontiers of Earth Science2020,14,1: | 2 |
| 6 | Molten salt as ultrastrong polar solvent enables the most straightforward pyrolysis towards highly efficient and stable single-atom electrocatalyst显示文摘Currently,pyrolysis as the most widely used method still has some key issues not well resolved for synthesis of carbon-supported single-atom catalysts(C-SACs),e.g.,the sintering of metal atoms at high temperature as well as the high cost and complicated preparations of precursors.In this report,molten salts are demonstrated to be marvellous medium for preparation of C-SACs by pyrolysis of small molecular precursors(ionic liquid).The ultrastrong polarity on one hand establishes robust interaction with precursor and enables better carbonization,resulting in largely enhanced yield.On the other hand,the aggregation of metal atoms is effectively refrained while no nanoparticle or cluster is formed.By this strategy,a C-SAC with atomically dispersed Fe-N_(4) sites and a high specific area over 2000 m^(2) g^(-1) is obtained,which illustrates high ORR activity in both acid and alkaline media.Moreover,this SAC exhibits superior methanol tolerance and stability after acid soaking at 85℃ for 48 h.It is believed that the molten-salts-assisted pyrolysis can be developed into a routine strategy as it not only can largely simply the synthesis of C-SACs,but also can be extended to prepare other types of SACs. | Nannan Li Wei Liu Chao Zhu Ce Hao Jingya Guo Hongyu Jing Jinwen Hu Cuncun Xin Danyang Wu Yantao Shi | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3: | 1 |
| 7 | Thermocline Model for Estimating Argo Sea Surface Temperature Thermocline Model for Estimating Argo Sea Surface Temperature显示文摘Argo has become an important constituent of the global ocean observation system.However,due to the lack of sea surface measurements from most Argo profiles,the application of Argo data is still limited.In this study,a thermocline model was constructed based on three key thermocline parameters,i.e,thermocline upper depth,the thermocline bottom depth,and thermocline temperature gradient.Following the model,we estimated the sea surface temperature of Argo profiles by providing the relationship between sea surface and subsurface temperature.We tested the effectiveness of our proposed model using statistical analysis and by comparing the sea surface temperature with the results obtained from traditional methods and in situ observations in the Pacific Ocean.The root mean square errors of results obtained from thermocline model were found to be significantly reduced compared to the extrapolation results and satellite retrieved temperature results.The correlation coefficient between the estimation result and in situ observation was 0.967.Argo surface temperature,estimated by the thermocline model,has been theoretically proved to be reliable.Thus,our model generates theoretically feasible data present the mesoscale phenomenon in more detail.Overall,this study compensates for the lack surface observation of Argo,and provides a new tool to establish complete Argo data sets. | Chunling Zhang Mengli Zhang Zhenfeng Wang Song Hu Danyang Wang Shenglong Yang | 2022 | Sustainable Marine Structures2022,4,1: | 1 |

| 9 | A HAase/NIR responsive surface on titanium implants for treating bacterial infection and improving osseointegration显示文摘Bacterial infection and insufficient osseointegration are critical factors affecting the long-term success of titanium-based implants.Unfortunately,the direct application of antibiotic on Ti implants easily leads to poor cytocompatibility,as well as the production of drug-resistant bacteria.So,in this work,we designed a prospective antibacterial strategy by combining photothermal and ciprofloxacin(CIP).The synergistic effect of photothermal and antibiotic may provide an effective bacteriostatic efficacy without sacrificing osteogenesis at a mild condition of moderate temperature and less antibiotic.Herein,CIP was loaded into mesoporous polydopamine(MPDA)nanoparticles(MPDA@CIP),which were anchored on the surface of titanium and finally covered with sodium hyaluronate-catechol(HAc)coating.The hydrophilic HAc layer could inhibit the early adhesion of bacteria,and some bacteria could secrete bacterial hyaluronidase to accelerate the degradation of HAc.This enabled smart enzyme-triggered release of antimicrobials at the site of infection on-demand and avoided unwanted side effects on normal tissues.In addition,NIR light irradiation had a positive influence on both CIP release and MPDA nanoparticle’s photothermal effect.Moreover,before anchoring MPDA@CIP,by the construction of hydroxyapatite microstructure on Ti sur-face with micro-arc oxidation and alkali heat treatment,the ability of bone formation of Ti could be promoted also.Both in vitro as well as in vivo assays demonstrated that functional Ti has an excellent antibacterial effect and osteogenic ability. | Dan Li Danyang Wang Ye He Bailong Tao Xiaoxia Liu Yulu Yang Lu Tan Yuchen Zhang Jingwei Hu Weihu Yang Yu Tang Kaiyong Cai | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,12: | 0 |

| 11 | Up-regulation of HCN2 channels in a thalamocortical circuit mediates allodynia in mice显示文摘Chronic pain is a significant problem that afflicts individuals and society,and for which the current clinical treatment is inadequate.In addition,the neural circuit and molecular mechanisms subserving chronic pain remain largely uncharacterized.Herein we identified enhanced activity of a glutamatergic neuronal circuit that encompasses projections from the ventral posterolateral nucleus(VPL^(Glu))to the glutamatergic neurons of the hindlimb primary somatosensory cortex(S1HL^(Glu)),driving allodynia in mouse models of chronic pain.Optogenetic inhibition of this VPL^(Glu)→S1HL^(Glu)circuit reversed allodynia,whereas the enhancement of its activity provoked hyperalgesia in control mice.In addition,we found that the expression and function of the HCN2(hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated channel 2)were increased in VPL^(Glu)neurons under conditions of chronic pain.Using in vivo calcium imaging,we demonstrated that downregulation of HCN2 channels in the VPL^(Glu)neurons abrogated the rise in S1HL^(Glu)neuronal activity while alleviating allodynia in mice with chronic pain.With these data,we propose that dysfunction in HCN2 channels in the VPL^(Glu)→S1HL^(Glu)thalamocortical circuit and their upregulation occupy essential roles in the development of chronic pain. | Jun-Ma Yu Rui Hu Yu Mao Yingju Tai Sen Qun Zhi Zhang Danyang Chen Yan Jin | 2023 | National Science Review2023,10,2: | 0 |
