3Photooxidation of arsenic(Ⅲ) to arsenic(Ⅴ) on the surface of kaolinite clay显示文摘As one of the most toxic heavy metals, the oxidation of inorganic arsenic has drawn great attention among environmental scientists. However, little has been reported on the solar photochemical behavior of arsenic species on top-soil. In the present work, the influencing factors(p H, relative humidity(RH), humic acid(HA), trisodium citrate, and additional iron ions) and the contributions of reactive oxygen species(ROS, mainly HOUand HO2U/O2U-) to photooxidation of As(Ⅲ) to As(Ⅴ) on kaolinite surfaces under UV irradiation(λ = 365 nm)were investigated. Results showed that lower p H facilitated photooxidation, and the photooxidation efficiency increased with the increase of RH and trisodium citrate.Promotion or inhibition of As(Ⅲ) photooxidation by HA was observed at low or high dosages, respectively. Additional iron ions greatly promoted the photooxidation, but excessive amounts of Fe2+competed with As(Ⅲ) for oxidation by ROS. Experiments on scavengers indicated that the HOUradical was the predominant oxidant in this system.Experiments on actual soil surfaces proved the occurrence of As(Ⅲ) photooxidation in real topsoil. 12Examining the characteristics between time and distance gaps of secondary crashes显示文摘Understanding the characteristics of time and distance gaps between the primary(PC)and secondary crashes(SC)is crucial for preventing SC ccurrences and improving road safety.Although previous studies have tried to analyse the variation of gaps,there is limited evidence in quantifying the relationships between different gaps and various influential factors.This study proposed a two-layer stacking framework to discuss the time and distance gaps.Specifically,the framework took random forests(RF),gradient boosting decision tree(GBDT)and eXtreme gradient boosting as the base classifiers in the first layer and applied logistic regression(LR)as a combiner in the second layer.On this basis,the local interpretable model-agnostic explanations(LIME)technology was used to interpret the output of the stacking model from both local and global perspectives.Through SC dentification and feature selection,346 SCs and 22 crash-related factors were collected from California interstate freeways.The results showed that the stacking model outperformed base models evaluated by accuracy,precision,and recall indicators.The explanations based on LIME suggest that collision type,distance,speed and volume are the critical features that affect the time and distance gaps.Higher volume can prolong queue length and increase the distance gap from the SCs to PCs.And collision types,peak periods,workday,truck involved and tow away likely induce a long-distance gap.Conversely,there is a shorter distance gap when secondary roads run in the same direction and are close to the primary roads.Lower speed is a significant factor resulting in a long-time gap,while the higher speed is correlated with a short-time gap.These results are expected to provide insights into how contributory features affect the time and distance gaps and help decision-makers develop accurate decisions to prevent SCs.Xinyuan Liu Jinjun Tang Chen Yuan Fan Gao Xizhi Ding 2024Transportation Safety and Environment2024,6,1:0
13Ethyl Acetate Fraction in Hedyotis Diffusa Willd Inhibits T Cell Proliferation to Improve the Pathogenesis of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus显示文摘Background:Abnormal proliferation of T cells plays an essential role in the pathogenesis of Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).The pharmaceutical effect of Hedyotis Diffusa Willd(HDW)on SLE has been investigated previously.Nevertheless,the biomedical mechanism is still left unclear.Objective:This study has been arranged to evaluate the therapeutic effect of the ethyl acetate fraction of HDW(EAHDW)on lupus mice and explore the potential therapeutic mechanism.Methods:EAHDW was prepared with 80%ethanol reflex extraction followed by successive extraction,and ana-lyzed with HPLC and UPLC-Q/TOP-MS.The potential targets and STAT3 affinity regulators were predicted with network pharmacology.The pharmaceutic effect of EAHDW was studied with MRL/lpr mice.Cytokines and au-toantibodies were quantified with ELISA assays.The pathological damage of glomerulus and STAT3 expression in the kidney was detected with histochemical and immunohistochemical techniques.The cell cycle properties in cell proliferation were identified with the flow cytometry.The western blot and dual-Luciferase reporter assay were applied to evaluate translational and transcriptional activity of STAT3,respectively.Results:In this study,the extraction ratio of EAHDW was 2.7±1%,in which 19 ingredients were identified.Network pharmacological analysis showed that the target genes of EAHDW were highly focused on influencing the abnormal T cell proliferation in SLE.EAHDW showed the beneficial effects on pathological changes and STAT3 expression in the glomerulus of lupus mice,and the levels of cytokines and autoantibodies in serum.In cytological study,EAHDW treatment attenuated the transcription and phosphorylation of STAT3,which inhibited T cell proliferation by prolonged S-phase of the cell cycle.A total of 5 compounds in EAHDW exhibited high docking affinity to the DNA-binding site of STAT3.Conclusion:EAHDW could reduce the inflammatory response and inhibit the proliferation of T cells by interfering with the STAT3 signaling pathway,thereby playing a therapeutic effect on SLE.Yahui Lai JinJun Ji Ying Li Jingqun Liu Xinhui Lan Weihong Ge Li Xu Yongsheng Fan Bin Ding 2021Clinical Complementary Medicine and Pharmacology2021,1,1:0
14Stoichiometric NbTiAl_3 (γ1 Phase) Alloy in Ti-Al-Nb Ternary System显示文摘The microstructure and phase constitution in stoichiometric NbTiAl3 (γ1 phase) alloy treated at 1000℃ were examined by metallography and X-ray diffraction. The alloy microstructure is mainly γ1 phase containing η second phase [(Ti,Nb)Al3] less than 1%. DTA analysis shows no phase transformation from room temperature to 1200℃. 15Rumen microbiota-host transcriptome interaction mediates the protective effects of trans-10,cis-12 CLA on facilitating weaning transition of lambs显示文摘Developing alternatives to antibiotics for prevention of gastrointestinal dysbiosis in early-weaning farmed animals is urgently needed.This study was to explore the potential effects of trans-10,cis-12 conjugated linoleic acid(CLA)on maintaining ruminal homeostasis of young ruminants during the weaning transition period.Thirty neonatal lambs were selected(6 lambs per group)and euthanized for rumen microbial and epithelial analysis.The lambs were weaned at 28 d and experienced the following 5 treatments:euthanized on d 28 as the pre-weaning control(CON0),fed starter feed for 5(CON5)or 21(CON21)d,fed starter feed with 1%of CLA supplemented for 5(CLA5)or 21(CLA21)d.Results showed that the average daily weight gain and dry matter intake were significantly higher in CLA5 than CON5 group.As compared with the CON5 and CON21 group,the relative abundances of volatile fatty acid(VFA)producing bacteria including Bacteroides,Treponema,Parabacteroides and Anaerovibrio,as well as the concentrations of acetate,butyrate and total VFA were significantly increased in CLA5 and CLA21 group,respectively.Integrating microbial profiling and epithelial transcriptome results showed that 7 downregulated inflammatory signaling-related host genes IL2RA,CXCL9,CD4,CCR4,LTB,SPP1,and BCL2A1 with CLA supplementation were significantly negatively correlated with both VFA concentration and VFA producing bacteria,while 3(GPX2,SLC27A2 and ALDH3A1)and 2(GSTM3 and GSTA1)upregulated metabolism-related genes,significantly positively correlated with either VFA concentration or VFA producing bacteria,respectively.To confirm the effects of CLA on epithelial signal transduction,in vitro experiment was further conducted by treating rumen epithelial cells without or with IL-17A+TNF-αfor 12 h after pretreatment of 100μM CLA or not(6 replicates per treatment).The results demonstrated the anti-inflammatory effect of CLA via suppressing the protein expression of NF-кB p-p65/p65 with the activation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma(PPARγ).In conclusion,CLA supplementation enhanced the ruminal microbiota-driven transcriptional regulation in healthy rumen epithelial development via rumen VFA production,and CLA may therefore serve as an alternative way to alleviate early-weaning stress and improve physiological and metabolic conditions of young ruminants.Chunlei Yang Xiangfei Deng Peter Lund Haixia Liu Xingwang Ding Zhengwei Fu Naifeng Zhang Jinjun Li Lifeng Dong 2023Animal Nutrition2023,,1:0
16Structure and magnetostriction of high Pr/Ce-content(Tb_(0.2)Pr_(0.8))_(1-x)Ce_(x)Fe_(1.93) Laves compounds显示文摘The light rare earth Pr/Ce-contained(Tb_(0.2)Pr_(0.8))_(1–x)Ce_(x)Fe_(1.93)(0≤x≤1.0)intermetallics were arc melted and magnetoelastic properties were investigated.The compounds of x≥0.40 are found to stabilize at ambient pressure in a single Laves phase with MgCu2-type C15 structure,which is attributed to the strong Ce 4f bonding.The mixed-valence behavior,with a support of the deviation from the linear Vegard’s law for both lattice parameter a and saturation magnetization M_(S),is observed at room temperature.The easy magnetization direction(EMD)was determined by the analysis of XRD on both magnetically aligned samples and the(440)splitting,that is,EMD lies toward<111>axis for x≤0.50 rotating to<110>for x=0.60,accompanied with the structural distortion from rhombohedral to orthorhombic.The substitution of Ce for Tb/Pr is conductive to the reduction of magnetocrystalline anisotropy,giving rise to an improvement of the low-field magnetostriction.The excellent magnetoelastic properties can be tailored by the Ce introduction,e.g.,the spontaneous magnetostriction coefficient λ_(111) as large as 1150×10^(−6) for x=0.40,and the low-field induced magnetostriction achieving a high value of λ_(a)=180×10^(−6) at 80 kA/m for x=0.60.The excellent magnetoelastic properties and the combination in high Pr-content with low cost,suggest promising prospects in applications.Yihao Shen Jinjun Liu Qilin Ding Mingkun Wang Zhongbin Pan Juan Du 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,4:0
