| 3 | Photoinduced Second Harmonic Generation of Bi_2S_3 Microcrystallite Doped Silica Glass显示文摘Silica glasses doped with Bi2S3 microcystallite was prepared by the sol-gel process. Photoinduced second harmonic generation (SHG) was observed in the glass when it was irradiated with intense 1.06 μm and frequency doubled laser beams from a mode-locked Nd: YAG laser. It was found that the signal intensity increased with the irradiating time and approached a saturation gradually. | 5 | A shedding soluble form of interleukin-17 receptor D exacerbates collagen-induced arthritis through facilitating TNF-α-dependent receptor clustering显示文摘Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is exacerbated by TNF-alpha signaling.However,it remains unclear whether TNF-α-activated TNFR1 and TNFR2 are regulated by extracellular factors.Here,we showed that soluble glycosylated interleukin-17 receptor D(sIL-17RD),which was produced by proteolytic cleavage,enhanced TNF-α-induced RA.We revealed that IL-17RD shedding was induced by the proteolytic enzyme TACE and enhanced by TNF-αexpression in macrophages.Intriguingly,sIL-17RD was elevated in the sera of arthritic mice and rats.Recombinant sIL-17RD significantly enhanced the TNF-α-induced proinflammatory response by promoting TNF-α-TNFR-sIL-17RD complex formation and receptor clustering,leading to the accelerated development of collagen-induced arthritis.Our observations revealed that ectodomain shedding of IL-17RD occurred in RA to boost the TNF-α-induced inflammatory response.Targeting sIL-17RD may provide a new strategy for the therapy of RA. | Sihan Liu Yanxia Fu Kunrong Mei Yinan Jiang Xiaojun Sun Yinyin Wang Fangli Ren Congshan Jiang Liesu Meng Shemin Lu Zhihai Qin Chen Dong Xinquan Wang Zhijie Chang Shigao Yang | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,8: | 1 |

| 11 | Large-eddy simulation of wall-bounded turbulent flow with high-order discrete unified gas-kinetic scheme显示文摘In this paper,we introduce the discrete Maxwellian equilibrium distribution function for incompressible flow and force term into the two-stage third-order Discrete Unified Gas-Kinetic Scheme(DUGKS)for simulating low-speed turbulent flows.The Wall-Adapting Local Eddy-viscosity(WALE)and Vreman sub-grid models for Large-Eddy Simulations(LES)of turbulent flows are coupled within the present framework.Meanwhile,the implicit LES are also presented to verify the effect of LES models.A parallel implementation strategy for the present framework is developed,and three canonical wall-bounded turbulent flow cases are investigated,including the fully developed turbulent channel flow at a friction Reynolds number(Re)about 180,the turbulent plane Couette flow at a friction Re number about 93 and lid-driven cubical cavity flow at a Re number of 12000.The turbulence statistics,including mean velocity,the r.m.s.fluctuations velocity,Reynolds stress,etc.are computed by the present approach.Their predictions match precisely with each other,and they are both in reasonable agreement with the benchmark data of DNS.Especially,the predicted flow physics of three-dimensional lid-driven cavity flow are consistent with the description from abundant literature.The present numerical results verify that the present two-stage third-order DUGKS-based LES method is capable for simulating inhomogeneous wall-bounded turbulent flows and getting reliable results with relatively coarse grids. | Rui Zhang Chengwen Zhong Sha Liu Congshan Zhuo | 2020 | Advances in Aerodynamics2020,2,1: | 1 |

| 20 | Development strategy,economic transformation and income distribution显示文摘Income inequality will affect China’s economic growth over the long term.It is also one of the important factors determining whether China can avoid the middle-income trap.Different from the‘equality of outcome’perspective,this paper analyses the causes of China’s income distribution from the perspective of equality of opportunity.The inequality of opportunity in China is mainly caused by distorted institutional arrangements in the financial markets,labour markets,and product markets,involving e.g.restrictions on interest rates,the household registration(hukou)system,price controls on industrial and agricultural products,and privileges of state-owned enterprises.All of these distorted institutional arrangements are attributed to the heavy-industry-oriented development strategy in the recent history.Although this strategy was gradually abandoned,it has generated some institutions which have long-run impacts on the income distribution in China.Transforming government functions through institutional reforms is necessary to improve equality of opportunity and income distribution. | Binkai Chen Congshan Gao | 2017 | Economic and Political Studies2017,5,3: | 1 |
