| 2 | Co-Co304@carbon core-shells derived from metal-organic framework nanocrystals as efficient hydrogenevolution catalysts显示文摘Controllable pyrolysis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) in confined spacesis a promising strategy for the design and development of advanced functionalmaterials. In this study, Co-C0304@carbon composites were synthesized viapyrolysis of a Co-MOFs@glucose polymer (Co-MOFs@GP) followed by partialoxidation of Co nanoparticles (NPs). The pyrolysis of Co-MOFs@GP generated acore-shell structure composed of carbon shells and Co NPs. The controlled partialoxidation of Co NPs formed Co-Co304 heterojunctions confined in carbon shells.Compared with Co-MOFs@GP and Co@carbon-n (Co@C-n), Co-C0304@carbon-n(Co-Co304@C-n) exhibited higher catalytic activity during NaBH4 hydrolysis.Co-C0304@C-II provided a maximum specific H2 generation rate of5,360 mL.min-l.gco-1 at room temperature due to synergistic interactionsbetween Co and C0304 NPs. | 3 | Development and validation of a UPLC–MS/MS assay for the determination of gemcitabine and its L-carnitine ester derivative in rat plasma and its application in oral pharmacokinetics显示文摘A simple and rapid UPLC–MS/MS method to simultaneously determine gemcitabine and its L-carnitine ester derivative(2’-deoxy-2’, 2’-difluoro-N-((4-amino-4-oxobutanoyl) oxy)-4-(trimethyl amm-onio) butanoate-cytidine, JDR) in rat plasma was developed and validated.The conventional plasma sample preparation method of nucleoside analogues is solidphase extraction(SPE) which is time-consuming and cost-expensive. In this study, gradient elution with small particles size solid phase was applied to effectively separate gemcitabine and JDR, and protein precipitation pretreatment was adopted to remove plasma protein and extract the analytes with high recovery(>81%). Method validation was performed as per the FDA guidelines, and the standard curves were found to be linear in the range of 5–4000 ng/ml for JDR and 4–4000 ng/ml for gemcitabine, respectively. The lower limit of quantitation(LLOQ)of gemcitabine and JDR was 4 and 5 ng/ml, respectively. The intra-day and inter-day precision and accuracy results were within the acceptable limits. | 9 | Peripheral CD4^(+)CD8^(+) double positive T cells:A potential marker to evaluate renal impairment susceptibility during systemic lupus erythematosus显示文摘Lupus nephritis(LN) has a high incidence in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) patients, but there is a lack of sensitive predictive markers. The purpose of the study was to investigate the association between the CD4^(+)CD8^(+)double positive T(DPT) lymphocytes and LN. The study included patients with SLE without renal impairment(SLE-NRI), LN, nephritic syndrome(NS), or nephritis. Peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets were analyzed by flow cytometry. Biochemical measurements were performed with peripheral blood in accordance with the recommendations proposed by the National Center for Clinical Laboratories. The proportions of DPT cells in the LN group were significantly higher than that in the SLE-NRI group(t=4.012, P<0.001), NS group(t=3.240,P=0.001), and nephritis group(t=2.57, P=0.011). In the LN group, the risk of renal impairment increased significantly in a DPT cells proportion-dependent manner. The risk of LN was 5.136 times(95% confidence interval, 2.115–12.473) higher in cases with a high proportion of DPT cells than those whose proportion of DPT cells within the normal range. | 10 | Defect-induced deposition of manganese oxides on hierarchical carbon nanocages for high-performance lithium-oxygen batteries显示文摘The cathode of lithium-oxygen(Li-O_(2))batteries should have large space for high Li_(2)O_(2) uptake and superior electrocatalytic activity to oxygen evolution/reduction for long lifespan.Herein,a high-performance MnO_(x)/hCNC cathode was constructed by the defect-induced deposition of manganese oxide(MnOx)nanoparticles on hierarchical carbon nanocages(hCNC).The corresponding Li-O2 battery(MnOx/hCNC@Li-O_(2))exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity with the low overpotential of 0.73-0.99 V in the current density range of 0.1-1.0 A·g^(-1).The full discharge capacity and cycling life of MnO_(x)/hCNC@Li-O_(2) were increased by~86.7%and~91%,respectively,compared with the hCNC@Li-O_(2) counterpart.The superior performance of MnO_(x)/hCNC cathode was ascribed to(i)the highly dispersed MnO_(x) nanoparticles for boosting the reversibility of oxygen evolution/reduction reactions,(ii)the interconnecting pore structure for increasing Li_(2)O_(2) accommodation and facilitating charge/mass transfer,and(iii)the concealed surface defects of hCNC for suppressing side reactions.This study demonstrated an effective strategy to improve the performance of Li-O_(2) batteries by constructing cathodes with highly dispersed catalytic sites and hierarchical porous structure. | Baoxing Wang Chenxia Liu Lijun Yang Qiang Wu Xizhang Wang Zheng Hu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,5: | 0 |
| 11 | Precipitation is the dominant driver for bird species richness,phylogenetic and functional structure in university campuses in northern China显示文摘Background:Although urbanization is threatening biodiversity worldwide,the increasing green urban spaces could harbor relatively high biodiversity.Therefore,how to maintain the biodiversity in urban ecosystem is crucial for sustainable urban planning and management,especially in arid and semiarid regions with relatively fragile environment and low biodiversity.Here,for the first time we linked species richness,phylogenetic and functional structure of bird assemblages in university campuses in northern China with plant species richness,glacial-interglacial climate change,contemporary climate,and anthropogenic factors to compare their relative roles in shaping urban bird diversity.Methods:Bird surveys were conducted in 20 university campuses across Inner Mongolia,China.Ordinary least squares models and simultaneous autoregressive models were used to assess the relationships between bird species richness,phylogenetic and functional structure with environmental factors.Structural equation models were used to capture the direct and indirect effects of these factors on the three components of bird diversity.Results:Single-variable simultaneous autoregressive models showed that mean annual precipitation was consistently a significant driver for bird species richness,phylogenetic and functional structure.Meanwhile,mean annual temperature and plant species richness were also significant predictors for bird species richness.Conclusions:This study suggests that campuses with warmer and wetter climate as well as more woody plant species could harbor more bird species.In addition,wetter campuses tended to sustain over-dispersed phylogenetic and functional structure.Our findings emphasize the dominant effect of precipitation on bird diversity distribution in this arid and semiarid region,even in the urban ecosystem. | Chenxia Liang Jun Liu Bin Pan Na Wang Jie Yang Guisheng Yang Gang Feng | 2020 | Avian Research2020,11,3: | 0 |
| 12 | Metallurgical pyrolysis toward Co@Nitrogen-doped carbon composite for lithium storage显示文摘Elemental state matter-heteroatom-doped carbon composites are of great importance for the development of anode in lithium ion batteries(LIBs).In this article,metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)are adopted as precursor to prepare Co composites via metallurgical pyrolysis under controllable conditions.The obtained nitrogen-doped porous carbon-Co nanocomposite possesses core–shell structure(Co@C–N).Co@C–N exhibits the best Li storage performances as anode active matter.After the 200th cycles at current density of 0.2 A g^(-1),a reversible capacity of 870 mAh g^(-1)is retained.A reversible capacity of 275 mAh g^(-1)still maintains with 5 A g^(-1).Co@C–N presents a high reversible capacity with excellent cycle stability.Considering the corresponding experimental and theoretical results,the Co0-based N-doped porous carbon composite is proposed to work as LIBs anode matter.These results provide a new design idea for electrode matters of metallic ion battery,and demonstrate that MOFs pyrolysis is an effective method for the construction of elemental state anode materials. | Yanyan Liu Kang Sun Jianchun Jiang Wenshu Zhou Yuan Shang Chenxia Du Baojun Li b | 2021 | Green Energy & Environment2021,6,1: | 0 |
