1Temperature-induced Lifshitz transition in topological insulator candidate HfTe_5显示文摘The ongoing discoveries and studies of novel topological quantum materials have become an emergent and important field of condensed matter physics.Recently,HfTe_5 ignited renewed interest as a candidate of a novel topological material.The single-layer HfTe_5 is predicted to be a two-dimensional large band gap topological insulator and can be stacked into a bulk that may host a temperature-driven topological phase transition.Historically,HfTe_5 attracted considerable interest for its anomalous transport properties characterized by a peculiar resistivity peak accompanied by a sign reversal carrier type.The origin of the transport anomaly remains under a hot debate.Here we report the first high-resolution laser-based angle-resolved photoemission measurements on the temperature-dependent electronic structure in HfTe_5.Our results indicated that a temperature-induced Lifshitz transition occurs in HfTe_5,which provides a natural understanding on the origin of the transport anomaly in HfTe_5.In addition,our observations suggest that HfTe_5 is a weak topological insulator that is located at the phase boundary between weak and strong topological insulators at very low temperature.Yan Zhang Chenlu Wang Guodong Liu Aiji Liang Lingxiao Zhao Jianwei Huang Qiang Gao Bing Shen Jing Liu Cheng Hu Wenjuan Zhao Genfu Chen Xiaowen Jia Li Yu Lin Zhao Shaolong He Fengfeng Zhang Shenjin Zhang Feng Yang Zhimin Wang Qinjun Peng Zuyan Xu Chuangtian Chen Xingjiang Zhou 2017Science Bulletin2017,62,13:4
2Prediction of radiosensitivity in primary central nervous system germ cell tumors using dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the feasibility of dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging(DCEMRI) for predicting tumor response to radiotherapy in patients with suspected primary central nervous system(CNS) germ cell tumors(GCTs).Methods: DCE-MRI parameters of 35 patients with suspected primary CNS GCTs were obtained prior to diagnostic radiation, using the Tofts and Kermode model. Radiosensitivity was determined in tumors diagnosed 2 weeks after radiation by observing changes in tumor size and markers as a response to MRI. Taking radiosensitivity as the gold standard, the cut-off value of DCE-MRI parameters was measured by receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve. Diagnostic accuracy of DCE-MRI parameters for predicting radiosensitivity was evaluated by ROC curve.Results: A significant elevation in transfer constant(Ktrans) and extravascular extracellular space(Ve)(P=0.000), as well as a significant reduction in rate constant(Kep)(P=0.000) was observed in tumors. Ktrans, relative Ktrans, and relative Kep of the responsive group were significantly higher than non-responsive groups. No significant difference was found in Kep, Ve, and relative Ve between the two groups. Relative Ktrans showed the best diagnostic value in predicting radiosensitivity with a sensitivity of 100%, specificity of 91.7%, positive predictive value(PPV) of 95.8%, and negative predictive value(NPV) of 100%.Conclusions: Relative Ktrans appeared promising in predicting tumor response to radiation therapy(RT). 3Lubricating properties of ester oil prepared from bio-based 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid显示文摘The depletion of petroleum resources and the intensification of environmental problems have necessitated the development of renewable products from bio-based chemicals instead of petroleum resources.Herein,a new kind of ester lubricating oil,isooctyl furan dicarboxylate(isooctyl-FD),was prepared from bio-based 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid.The structure of isooctyl-FD was evaluated using nuclear magnetic resonance imaging and high-resolution mass spectroscopy.Its physicochemical and tribological properties including thermal and oxidation stabilities,flash point and pour point,viscosity and viscosity index,and friction-reducing and anti-wear properties were systematically evaluated.The results show that isooctyl-FD has comparable thermal and oxidation stability to the synthetic ester lubricating oil,isooctyl sebacate(isooctyl-S).Its friction-reducing and anti-wear properties are superior to isooctyl-S;however,its viscosity-temperature and low-temperature properties are inferior to isooctyl-S.Mingjin FAN Jia Al Shuai ZHANG Chenlu YANG Xin DU Ping WEN Xiangyuan YE Feng ZHOU Weiming LIU 2020Friction2020,8,2:1
4Integrated analysis of gut microbiome and host immune responses in COVID-19显示文摘Emerging evidence indicates that the gut microbiome contributes to the host immune response to infectious diseases.Here,to explore the role of the gut microbiome in the host immune responses in COVID-19,we conducted shotgun metagenomic sequencing and immune profiling of 14 severe/critical and 24 mild/moderate COVID-19 cases as well as 31 healthy control samples.We found that the diversity of the gut microbiome was reduced in severe/critical COVID-19 cases compared to mild/moderate ones.We identified the abundance of some gut microbes altered post-SARS-CoV-2 infection and related to disease severity,such as Enterococcus faecium,Coprococcus comes,Roseburia intestinalis,Akkermansia ntuciniphila,Bacteroides cellulosilyticus and Blautia obeum.We further analyzed the correlation between the abundance of gut microbes and host responses,and obtained a correlation map between clinical features of COVID-19 and 16 severity-related gut microbe,including Coprococcus comes that was positively correlated with CD3^(+)/CD4^(+)/CD8^(+)lymphocyte counts.In addition,an integrative analysis of gut microbiome and the transcriptome of peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)showed that genes related to viral transcription and apoptosis were up-regulated in Coprococcus comes low samples.Moreover,a number of metabolic pathways in gut microbes were also found to be differentially enriched in severe/critical or mild/moderate COVID-19 cases,including the superpathways of polyamine biosynthesis II and sulfur oxidation that were suppressed in severe/critical COVID-19.Together,our study highlighted a potential regulatory role of severity related gut microbes in the immune response of host.Xiaoguang Xu Wei Zhang Mingquan Guo Chenlu Xiao Ziyu Fu Shuting Yu Lu Jiang Shengyue Wang Yun Ling Feng Liu Yun Tan Saijuan Chen 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,2:0
5An Improved Repetitive Control Strategy for LCL Grid-Connected Inverter显示文摘This paper proposes a cascade repetitive control strategy based on odd internal mode,and combines it with proportional-integral(PI)control to establish a compound repetitive control system for improving the quality of grid connected current of LCL grid connected inverter.More specifically,the proposed method could effectively improve the control effect of grid-connected current of LCL inverter,restrain current harmonics and reduce the distortion rate of grid-connected current.Simulation experiment is conducted to verify the proposed repetitive control strategy,and the verification results show that,compared with traditional PI control,the proposed improved compound repetitive control strategy has a higher response speed,and the steady-state and dynamic performance have also been significantly improved.Ning He Chenlu Song Feng Gao Cheng Qian 2022Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2022,31,4:0
