| 1 | Review and discussion on fire behavior of bridge girders显示文摘This paper presents an overview on fire behavior of bridge girders mainly including prestressed concrete(PC) bridge girders and steel bridge girders. The typical fire accidents occurred on bridges are illustrated and, the seriousness of posing threats to bridge structures resulted from increasing traffic fires, specially intense hydrocarbon fires generated from petrol-chemicals, is highlighted. The current researches, embracing high-temperature properties of constituent materials, prestress state, measurement in fire tests, numerical methods, structural fire resistance, and so forth, taken on coping with problems existing in fire behavior and structural fire behavior in bridge girders are reviewed and discussed. Further, strategies for enhancing fire resistance of bridge girders followed with failure criterion and mode in types of bridge structures are provided. Future research area along with emerging trends in structural fire behavior of bridge girders is also recommended for mitigating fire hazards occurred on bridge girders. Herein, it can be attained a conclusion from review and discussion that prestressed concrete bridge girders with thin webs, specially T-shaped bridge girder, are prone to unstable under fire exposure conditions. High-strength concrete utilized in prestressed concrete bridge girders is vulnerable to spalling at elevated temperature. | 4 | Dissecting anxiety-related QTLs in mice by univariate and multivariate mapping显示文摘To detect genes underlying anxiety-related traits in mice,we performed univariate and multivariate QTL mapping analyses of phenotypes obtained from 71 mice of the BXD recombinant inbred (RI) strains (n=528 mice) and their parental strains (C57BL/6J and DBA/2J).Separate and joint mapping analyses were carried out using a linkage map composed of 506 simple sequence repeats (SSRs).The main QTL effects,interactions between pairs of QTLs (epistasis),and their environmental interactions were estimated.The results showed that anxiety-related traits were influenced by multiple QTLs (five main effect QTLs and three epistatic QTLs).Ten potential anxiety-related candidate genes within the QTL intervals on chromosomes 5,13 and 15 were identified.Some of these genes have been reported previously to be associated with the anxiety response.Based on our results,it is suggested that the multivariate QTL mapping approach improves the statistical power for detecting QTL and the precision of parameter estimation.Moreover,multivariate mapping can also detect pleiotropic QTL effects. | ZHU ZhiHong ZHANG ChenHao WANG XuSheng COOK Melloni N WILLIAMS Robert LU Lu ZHU Jun | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,21: | 2 |

| 7 | Poverty Alleviation Model of 'Three Stresses and Three Commentaries' to Stimulate Endogenous Motivation in Xundian County显示文摘Poverty alleviation has entered a decisive period. If we want to maintain poverty alleviation results,it is unsustainable to rely on solely on external forces but must rely on its endogenous motivation. Xundian County is located in the Wumeng Mountain area in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River which is a concentrated contiguous extreme poverty-stricken area. Although the natural conditions are poor and the foundation is weak,it took the lead in poverty alleviation throughout the province at the end of 2017 with a poverty rate of 0. 35%. Moreover,the poverty alleviation achievements have been stabilized,and the incidence of poverty declined to 0. 25% in 2018. These are inseparable from the unique ' three stresses and three commentaries' to stimulate endogenous motivation. This article systematically studies the poverty alleviation model of ' three stresses and three commentaries' to stimulate endogenous motivation in the county. Through in-depth analysis of the specific content,operation process,work achievements and typical cases of the model,the internal mechanism of action is obtained,and its experience worthy of reference are summarized. | 8 | Synthesis and Performance of an Associative Anti-shear Drag Reducer Based on Hydrogen Bond Association of Dodecyl Methacrylate显示文摘Using K2S2O8-Na2SO3 as the redox initiation system,a hydrogen-bond-association-based dodecyl methacrylate system associative anti-shear drag reducer was synthesised by standard emulsion polymerisation.The reaction process was simple and gentle as well as safe and stable.Molecular design was carried out using molecular dynamics simulation methods.The results of infrared spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analysis,differential scanning calorimetry,gel chromatography,and laser light scattering showed that the reaction polymerisation was relatively complete,the product was uniform,the molecular weight distribution was controllable,and the synthesised polymer had good flexibility.The donor lauryl methacrylate-styrene-methacrylic acid(LMA-St-MAA)and acceptor lauryl methacrylate-styrene-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate(LMA-St-DMA)polymers had an associative intermolecular interaction force,which increased the molecular cluster size of the associative system complex.The complex had good shear resistance,and the test results of the tube pump shear test showed that the synthesised associative oil-soluble polymer drag reduction system exhibited better drag reduction rate performance than poly-α-olefins over repeated cycles.The research results provide a reference plan for minimising the number of station-to-station inputs,thereby ensuring the stability of oil pipelines and reducing transportation costs. | Lu Yong Li Chenhao Li Hao Chen Yue Xu Dan Wang Yiran Meng Yeqiao Zhang Xiaolai | 2023 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2023,25,1: | 0 |
| 9 | Preparation of Poly-α-Olefin Microcapsule Particles Coated with Polyurethane as a Drag Reducer Based on Interface Polymerization显示文摘The molecular behavior of polyurethane(PU)coating materials during the surface adsorption of poly-α-olefin as a drag reducing polymer was explored by a molecular dynamics simulation.Three different PU capsule wall materials were synthesized using two reaction monomers,and a poly-α-olefin/PU drag reducer microcapsule was prepared based on interface polymerization.The structure,morphology,thermal stability,compressive strength,and drag reduction performance of the microcapsules were characterized and compared.The results showed that a non-bonding interaction induced the adsorption of the PU coating material,poly-α-olefin and PU then fused at the interface,and the PU coating material was embedded into the inner grooves of poly-α-olefin in the form of a local mosaic,thereby forming a stable core–shell structure.The morphological characterization indicated that PU and poly-α-olefin could form microcapsule structures.The thermal decomposition temperature of the microcapsule was dependent on the type of capsule wall material.The microcapsule structure had a slight effect on poly-α-olefin drag reduction.The system enabled poly-α-olefin to exist in powdered particles through microcapsulation,and had a good dispersion effect that facilitated storage and transport processes.The method effectively inhibited the accumulation and bonding of poly-α-olefin at room temperature. | Li Chenhao Lu Yong Li Hao Chen Yue Meng Yeqiao Zhou Pengfei Xu Dan Wang Yiran Zhang Xiaolai | 2023 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2023,25,2: | 0 |
| 10 | Self-fertilization in a gonochoristic fish yellow catfish显示文摘Sex control techniques are in great demand for aquaculture because of the huge benefits of mono-sex production.In a previous study on yellow catfish(Tachysurus fulvidraco),intersex individuals were produced by administrating 17α-methyltestosterone(MT)or aromatase inhibitor letrozole(LZ).The ovarian and testicular portions of intersexual gonads developed well and were completely separated,arousing our interest in producing self-fertilizable fish and clone-like fish populations.In this study,yellow catfish fry were treated with a combination of MT and LZ at a low dose(5 mg kg^(-1)MT,300 mg kg^(-1)LZ)at a low water temperature(27.0℃,mixed sex-producing temperature,LL group)and a high temperature(33.5◦C,male-producing temperature,HL group),and with a high dose(10 mg kg^(-1) MT,600 mg kg^(-1) LZ)at a low water temperature(LH group),during 12-65 days post-hatching,the critical period of sex differentiation.Both XX and XY intersex were produced with different percentages at the same time through co-treatment with MT and LZ,with or without the help of male-producing temperature.The highest percentage of XY intersex(53%in XY,36%in XX and XY)and XX intersex(47%in XX,25%in XX and XY)was produced in LH and HL groups,respectively.Results of gonadal morphology,histology,and sperm dynamic analysis indicate that some XX and XY intersex individuals were capable of self-fertilization through artificial insemination.The reproductive performance of these intersex individuals was then investigated by injecting spawning agents,dissecting gonads,and artificially fertilizing eggs with their own sperm.The XX,XY,and YY genotypic individuals were produced by the self-fertilization of XY intersex individuals.The present study successfully produced high percentages of XX and XY intersex and conducted self-fertilization by mating the eggs and sperm of a single intersex individual.Self-fertilization in fish will show great potential in aquaculture genetics and breeding,for example,generating highly homozygous(or'clonal')genetic material,producing mono-sex populations,and identifying unknown sex determination modes.In particular,the cloning method of producing genetic materials will be greatly beneficial for maintaining advantageous traits through self-fertilization generation after generation. | Yue Yu Ziyi Lu Min Chen Ya Liu Yang Ding Chenhao Hu Zhigang Shen | 2024 | Aquaculture and Fisheries2024,9,2: | 0 |
