| 1 | Effect of the simultaneous application of a high static magnetic field and a low alternating current on grain structure and grain boundary of pure aluminum显示文摘Effect of the simultaneous application of a high static magnetic field and a low alternating electric current on the solidification structure of pure aluminum has been investigated. Results show that the refinement of the solidification structure is enhanced by the electric current under a certain magnetic field. However,when the magnetic field intensity exceeds a certain value, the refinement is impaired under a certain electric current. The observation by electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD) shows the complex fields have led to the increase of the low angle boundaries with the refinement. Moreover, the application of the static gradient magnetic field is capable of modifying the distribution of the refined grains. | 2 | Fractionation characteristics of rare earth elements(REEs) linked with secondary Fe, Mn, and Al minerals in soils显示文摘Soil secondary minerals are important scavengers of rare earth elements(REEs) in soils and thus affect geochemical behavior and occurrence of REEs. The fractionation of REEs is a common geochemical phenomenon in soils but has received little attention, especially fractionation induced by secondary minerals. In this study, REEs(La to Lu and Y) associated with soil-abundant secondary minerals Fe-, Al-, and Mn-oxides in 196 soil samples were investigated to explore the fractionation and anomalies of REEs related to the minerals. The results show right-inclined chondrite-normalized REE patterns for La–Lu in soils subjected to total soil digestion and partial soil extraction. Light REEs(LREEs) enrichment features were negatively correlated with a Eu anomaly and positively correlated with a Ce anomaly. The fractionation between LREEs and heavy REEs(HREEs) was attributed to the high adsorption affinity of LREEs to secondary minerals and the preferred activation/leaching of HREEs.The substantial fractions of REEs in soils extracted byoxalate and Dithionite-Citrate-Bicarbonate buffer solutions were labile(10 %–30 %), which were similar to the mass fraction of Fe(10 %–20 %). Furthermore, Eu was found to be more mobile than the other REEs in the soils, whereas Ce was less mobile. | 3 | Single-shot spectral-volumetric compressed ultrafast photography显示文摘In ultrafast optical imaging,it is critical to obtain the spatial structure,temporal evolution,and spectral composition of the object with snapshots in order to better observe and understand unrepeatable or irreversible dynamic scenes.However,so far,there are no ultrafast optical imaging techniques that can simultaneously capture the spatial–temporal–spectral five-dimensional(5D)information of dynamic scenes.To break the limitation of the existing techniques in imaging dimensions,we develop a spectral-volumetric compressed ultrafast photography(SV-CUP)technique.In our SV-CUP,the spatial resolutions in the x,y and z directions are,respectively,0.39,0.35,and 3 mm with an 8.8 mm×6.3 mm field of view,the temporal frame interval is 2 ps,and the spectral frame interval is 1.72 nm.To demonstrate the excellent performance of our SV-CUP in spatial–temporal–spectral 5D imaging,we successfully measure the spectrally resolved photoluminescent dynamics of a 3D mannequin coated with CdSe quantum dots.Our SV-CUP brings unprecedented detection capabilities to dynamic scenes,which has important application prospects in fundamental research and applied science. | Pengpeng Ding Yunhua Yao Dalong Qi Chengshuai Yang Fengyan Cao Yilin He Jiali Yao Chengzhi Jin Zhengqi Huang Li Deng Lianzhong Deng Tianqing Jia Jinyang Liang Zhenrong Sun Shian Zhang | 2021 | Advanced Photonics2021,3,4: | 3 |
| 4 | Investigation the improvement of high voltage spinel LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_(4) cathode material by anneal process for lithium ion batteries显示文摘The spinel LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_(4)(LNMO)has been attracted great attention as lithium ion cathode material due to its high voltage and large energy density.However,the practical application of LNMO is still limited by poor cycling stability.Herein,to improve the cycling stability of spinel LNMO,it was treated with anneal process at 900℃for 2 h after prepared by traditional solid-state method(LNMO-A).LNMO-A sample presented better electrochemical property especially under high rate,with capacity of 91.2 mAhg^(-1) after 1000 cycles under 10 C.Its superior electrochemical property was ascribed to the anneal process,resulting a stable crystal structure,indicated by XRD and Raman results of electrodes after 1000 cycles under 10 C and the longer solid-solution reaction,revealed by in-situ XRD.In addition,the optimized particle size,micro morphology and the larger BET area surface induced by the recrystallization in anneal process also contributes to its superior electrochemical property.What's more,the thin layer,which interacted LNMO-A particles with each other,induced by particles remelting in anneal process is also beneficial for its excellent electrochemical property.This study not only improved the electrochemical properties by anneal process,but also revealed the origins and mechanisms for its improvement. | Chao Gao Haiping Liu Sifu Bi Huilin Li Chengshuai Ma | 2021 | Green Energy & Environment2021,6,1: | 2 |

| 11 | Experimental Investigation of the Creep Behaviour of Glulam Compression-Bending Members显示文摘Creep test results of glulam members under compression and bending were studied in this paper.The creep tests were conducted to investigate the influence of the stress level and relative eccentricity on the creep deformation of glulam members.The test results showed that the creep deformation trends of glulam members under long-term compression and bending loading were similar;the creep deformation increased with increases in both the stress level and relative eccentricity.However,the relative creep deformation decreased with the increase in both the stress level and relative eccentricity under long-term loading,and a five-parameter creep model was proposed to analyse the creep mechanism of glulam members under compression and bending.The good fitness of the test results indicated that the five-parameter model was able to accurately simulate the creep deformation of glulam compression-bending members.Moreover,a numerical model was developed using the creep equation,which was related to the parameter a and b.The simulation results were in good agreement with the test results,and the parameters a and b were correlated to the relative eccentricity and stress level,respectively.Based on the corrected parameters a and b,the relative creep deformation of glulam compression-bending members was predicted over 50 years. | Yifei Yin Lirong Qu Weidong Lu Chengshuai Li | 2022 | Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,6: | 0 |
